AN Israeli Cabinet minister involved in the operation to kidnap Nazi mastermind Adolf Eichmann says the same tactic could be used to bring Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to trial.

Rafi Eitan said Mr Ahmadinejad, who is aggressively pursuring nuclear technology and has repeatedly called for Israel to be wiped off the map, had to be brought for trial in The Hague.

“A man like Ahmadinejad who threatens genocide has to be brought for trial in The Hague,” Mr Eitan said.

Asked if kidnapping was acceptable, Mr Eitan told the Associated Press: “Yes. Any way to bring him for trial in The Hague is a possibility.

“All options are open in terms of how he should be brought.”

Mr Eitan, a former spy who is now a member of Israel’s inner cabinet of ministers with security responsibilities, said he was expressing his own opinion.

Mr Eitan, 81, helped kidnap Eichmann from Argentina in 1960. Eichmann was tried and executed in Israel for carrying out Adolf Hitler’s “final solution” to kill European Jews.

2005 “World Without Zionism” speech

On 26 October 2005, IRIB News, an English-language subsidiary of the state-controlled Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, filed a story on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s recent speech to the “World Without Zionism” conference in Asia. The story was entitled: Ahmadinejad: Israel must be wiped off the map. The story was picked up by Western news agencies and quickly made headlines around the world. On 30 October, The New York Times published a full transcript of the speech in which Ahmadinejad was quoted in part as follows:

Our dear Imam (referring to Ayatollah Khomeini) said that the occupying regime must be wiped off the map and this was a very wise statement. We cannot compromise over the issue of Palestine. Is it possible to create a new front in the heart of an old front. This would be a defeat and whoever accepts the legitimacy of this regime has in fact, signed the defeat of the Islamic world. Our dear Imam targeted the heart of the world oppress ...

Ahmadinejad also claimed in the speech that the issue with Palestine would be over “the day that all refugees return to their homes [and] a democratic government elected by the people comes to power.” [More at Wikipedia]

Considering that in the same speech President Ahmadinejad also compared removal of the Zionist regime in Israel to the removal of the Russia’s Soviet and Iraq’s Baathist regimes, I don’t see how anyone can legitimately find anything at all referring to genocide of the Jewish people. Any statements to the contrary by the Israeli government, Jewish supremacist groups or the UN, and the US and Australian governments are just proof of the strangle-hold that shitty little Israel maintains over the so-called “free world.”
