ATTORNEY-GENERAL Michael Atkinson has called a senior magistrate “daft” and “delusional” for calling for jail overcrowding to be factored into sentencing.

The ferocity of the criticism from Mr Atkinson, of deputy chief magistrate Andrew Cannon yesterday stunned the Adelaide legal community.

Mr Atkinson’s office was on the back foot last night to justify his language, and some of the grounds he had used to blast Dr Cannon, who is an adjunct professor of law and the state’s senior mining warden.

A PARIS court has convicted one-time film star Brigitte Bardot of provoking discrimination and racial hatred for writing that Muslims are destroying France.
The court also handed down a $23,325 fine against the former screen siren turned animal rights campaigner.

A leading French anti-racism group known as MRAP filed a lawsuit last year over a letter Bardot, 73, sent to then-Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy. The remarks were published in her foundation’s quarterly journal.

In the December 2006 letter to Sarkozy, now the president, Bardot said France is “tired of being led by the nose …

Prejudice

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prejudice

Definition
The word prejudice refers to prejudgment: making a decision before becoming aware of the relevant facts of a case or event. The word has commonly been used in certain restricted contexts, in the expression ‘racial prejudice’. Winning the Cultural War

Charlton Heston | February 16, 1999

From his “Winning the Cultural War” speech given at the Harvard Law School Forum.

“I remember my son when he was 5, explaining to his kindergarten class what his father did for a living. “My Daddy,” he said, “pretends to be people.” There have been quite a few of them. Prophets from the Old and New Testaments, a couple of Christian saints, generals of various nationalities and different centuries, several kings, three American presidents, a French cardinal and two geniuses, including Michelangelo.

Feminism & Multiculturalism = Twin Evils of Marxist Social Engineering for Social Revolution

“Women’s power is difficult to see and measure. But we better get a grip on it. As long as women can pretend they don’t have any power, we can’t call them on how they use – and misuse – it. And they get to keep what they have all to themselves.”
If Men Have All The POWER – How Come Women Make The RULES?

It’s just typical of society that the author of the above quote/book (although I do thoroughly recommend it as an excellent read) not only fails to realise the correlation between sexism and racism, but also denies …

Five people had to be admitted to hospital after one brawl. The Caucasian men were attacked by a group of 10 Aboriginal men, who demanded that their victims “say sorry”.

A 28-year-old Territory woman watched helplessly as her friend was king-hit and kicked to the ground outside a Darwin 24-hour eatery on Sunday morning. She said three men ran at …
