I don't see a great deal of music being posted lately, so let's shake things up a bit.

I don't know if it'll embed, but it's the music video for Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt, recorded and filmed not long before the deaths of him and June. Arguably one of the greatest music videos and song covers IMO; as a poignant reflection on the life of a White cultural icon it often moves me to tears.

One of the problems with getting old on a forum that is old is that I've shared much of the music that I listen to already. It's getting difficult finding any new music to share that I like.

This is the latest band I like. It's called Airbourne. It comes from Melbourne in Australia. They have a similar sound to AC/DC. Nobody thinks they are copying AC/DC. People rather have the opinion that Airbourne are continuing what AC/DC began. It's a comfortable style I'm already used to, and that's good enough for me.

Repost the old stuff! People have surely forgotten by now; they'll be like brand-new tunes. I'm not a huge AC/DC fan, wouldn't know one of their songs if it came up and bit me, but it's always nice to see newer bands following in the footsteps of the greats.

My parents' musical preferences deeply imprinted on my own so probably 60% of what I listen to is by dead negroes, but there are a few living Whites thrown in there and a particular favourite is Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, especially his famous S.O.B. — a song about an alcoholic who really needs a drink. I'm feeling parched this evening, to the detriment of almost 5 months of sobriety, so I decided to give it a listen again. You all might enjoy it too.
