The "Big Three" in the Bathurst car race in the vid above is Ford, Chrysler/Dodge and GM.
Bathurst was like America's NASCAR, but better - they race up and around a mountain, lapping it for 500 Miles (810KM), which was extended to 1000 Klicks.

I remember this one. From memory, the winners were Jaguar racing team, Tom Walkingshaw in a Jag second, Peter Brock third in a GM Holden, and fourth was another Jaguar. The Fords were 351, the GM Holden's 350 (Australian made) and the Jags were 12 cylinder. Watch the Jag breeze past the V8's.
