Im an old outlaw and I rode the Beenleigh Woodridge Gold Coast area. He look's familiar, about my age so who knows? A lot of us EX Old School Bikers got out of the Outlaw scene when it became like a Mexican Bandit posy.

I've lived in Woodridge and Eagleby myself. Rode that area for years.

Used to laugh my head off at the war of words that was going on between the Long (or Lone) Riders Touring Motorcycle Club and the Motorcycle Riders Association. Neither was an outlaw club but both tried to put the heavies on each other with big tough words when the other was out of the room.

Another group that was a joke and definitely not outlaw but liked to pretend they were was HOG (Harley Owners Group). You get a set of colours when you buy your new Harley. Never owned a motorcycle until they were fifty something years old. Take lessons on 125's that they hire. Squeeky clean brand new leather pants, jackets and shirts with shiny buckles everywhere and the old brick mobile phone that all yuppies carried at the time as a symbol of distinction. Take off the HOG badge and they would blend perfectly with the poofters in Oxford Street, Sydney.

Also lived in Moorooka just around the corner from Odin's. I don't know about now but back then they had an open clubhouse night about once a month. Never had any problems from them. My only problem was with the LRTMC member that moved in as a neighbour, who along with the Abos and old women in the place were so afraid of me, they caused problems almost every day by ringing the coppers because I was doing such threatening things as checking the mail box or going to the Seven-Eleven.

But then, no place and no people are perfect. It was bearable as long as I was working and had the cash to jump on my bike with a ground sheet and a sleeping bag tied to the forks and head South into Northern NSW for the weekend. I can only imagine how much worse it is now with high unemployment and the region full of muds where the outlaw motorcycle clubs have turned into Middle Eastern street gangs in all but name.

And he took down the flag. Claimed his kids were getting threatened at school. I'd say he's only using his kids as an excuse to get the heat off him. If he had balls and his kids were being threatened, then he should be able to deal with it through the school system - and teach his kids to fight in the mean time. Problem solved.
