The man, who did not give his name, said he heard 'awful, blood-curdling screams' and looked out his window to see a 'black guy dressed all in black with a hood and rucksack grappling with some people'.

He told the broadcaster: 'She was screaming 'Help!' I just wish I'd shouted something out of the window to unnerve the assailant.

'I saw him stab the lad first and then the woman. It was repeated stabbing - four or five times. The lad collapsed in the middle of the road.

The man who allegedly murdered two students and a school caretaker during a knife rampage in Nottingham can today be named as a 31-year-old Valdo Calocane, who is understood to be from Guinea-Bissau, West Africa.

He was arrested at 5.40am on Tuesday on suspicion of murdering Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Barnaby Webber, both 19 and University of Nottingham students in their first year.

The knife attack marked the start of a 90-minute spree which also saw school caretaker Ian Coates, 65, knifed to death and three pedestrians run over, one of whom remains critically ill and was identified today as factory worker Wayne Birkett.

The suspect had reportedly been living in the UK legally for ten years and had a history of mental health issues.

Summary: The killer was a Black Muslim from Africa. Instead of the actual victims, it was he that was treated as the victim by the British (in)justice system. Although there were three deliberate murders and multiple attempted murders, he was only convicted of manslaughter. i.e. Accidentally killing somebody. The government then used the Black multiple murderer as an excuse for local Muslim Imams to bond with the UK government in promoting Forgiveness (for Black on White crime) and White Guilt (for perceived historical racism). The families of the victims had something to say about this ....

The revelation comes as shocking unseen video showed Calocane attacking his flatmate in private student halls after he was called out for making a mess in the bathroom.

The clip from 2021 shows Calocane putting his fellow student Chris Young in a headlock after punching him. Police were called to the incident but did not charge the future murderer.

Recalling what Calocane was like to live with, Mr Young told the broadcaster: 'I thought he was someone with serious mental health issues so I did not think he was a bad person necessarily, I thought he was an ill person.

POLICE ALLOWED THE MURDERS TO HAPPEN

Calocane was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in 2020 and was sectioned four times in the last two years:

 * May 2020: Calocane attempted to break into an apartment in his block of flats. He was arrested, assessed as low-risk psychotic and released to a community crisis team. One hour later, he attempted to break into a second apartment. Was reassessed and sectioned for three weeks.

 * July 2020: Sectioned for two weeks after forcing way into a third apartment. Anti-psychotic medication restarted and increased, managed by community intervention team upon release.

 * August/September 2021: Admits he's stopped taking medication and will not engage further. Assaults PC during execution of a warrant under Mental Health Act. Sectioned until October.

 * January 2022: Assessed and sectioned after assaulting and trapping a flatmate in kitchen. Discharged after three weeks of treatment.
