AUSTRALIA will increase its Syrian refugee intake in the wake of the European humanitarian crisis although total refugee numbers will not rise.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott has ordered Immigration Minister Peter Dutton to make a mercy mission to Geneva to meet with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and advise Australia is prepared to play a greater role, after photos of drowned Syrian toddler Aylan Kurdi shocked the world and put a human face to the crisis..

Australian officials gave briefings to Germany, Sweden, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Finland and a European Commission representative in Sydney on April 30.

The US and Canada also had representatives at the full round meeting of the Intergovernmental Consultations for Migration, Asylum and Refugees.

As the number of Syrian refugees fleeing Islamic State and making the dangerous journey to Europe continues to swell, Australia is prepared to increase its Syrian intake above 30 per cent of our total refugee numbers.

It's believed Mr Abbott's preference is to drop the percentage of other nations because Australia has already committed to increasing the total intake from 13,750 places per year to 18,750 by 2018-19.

On Sunday Premier Jay Weatherill said South Australia could "absolutely" accept more refugees from the region.

"We certainly will be offering South Australia as an open and welcoming destination for those Syrians fleeing violence," Mr Weatherill said.

"I would like the Commonwealth to open the hearts of the nation of Australia to the people, Syrians, that are fleeing violence and persecution."

The traitors that demand we compete with them for jobs, force us to live next to them, tell us that we are racist when we complain of the inevitable violence they bring erupts, bow to their political demands and demand we relinquish our culture and any future for White children in favour of a TURD WORLD majority of mud people, are for the most part selfish and have no thought for their own future or their children's future. While I admit that Abbott is a marginally better prime monster than Krudd or Juliar, I would cheer if someone shot the traitor over this matter alone. And I'd be willing to bet that the shooter was another of the government's own imported nogs performing as ambassador for their inferior alien culture that we White Australians are supposed to embrace in place of our own White culture. Xavier is just two years older than Aylan Kurdi, the three-year-old Syrian boy whose lifeless body lying on a Turkish beach has become the enduring image of Europe's worsening refugee crisis.

The lives of these two boys are worlds apart. Xavier smiled as he held his home made sign among 10,000-strong crowd in Sydney's Hyde Park tonight.

"There's room in my house" could have been the unofficial call-to-action for the 'Light The Dark' rallies held in cities across Australia as demonstrators called on the Australian government to ramp up its support for refugees seeking sanctuary.

The park was ablaze with candlelight as the sombre crowd stood in solidarity with the countless refugees forced to flee their homes and embark on treacherous journeys in search of safety.

The image of a Syrian child's lifeless body washed up on the shores of a Turkish beach this week brought the world to its knees. His name was Aylan Kurdi, and he was just three years old," read the 'Light the Dark' Sydney Facebook event page.

By the time the first candles were lit in Hyde Park, more than 14,000 people had indicated on facebook that they would be attending vigil.

It's been reported to me that White Australians are turning on each other because of these Syrian sand-niggers. The dead sand-nigglet on their TV's has driven the fence sitters straight to the libtards. One minute they are sitting at home cheering on the Reclaim Australia from Muslim Supremacist rallies and the next, they are crying over a dead sand-nigglet and screaming about Racists and how the White Australia Policy has to go. Plenty of room here they say, bring in millions more and put an end to White Supremacy. But the libtards are not having it all their own way. Fence sitters do not attend rallies. They stay home and parrot their TV, then go and harass any family members, neighbours, co-workers or people they may meet in their local bar that they think are Racist murderers responsible for the death of their beloved sand-nigglet. A few words of logic from a dedicated White Racial Loyalist like any of us here is enough to have them in tears. And then you've got the people who are genuinely fed up with the enveloping Supremacy of Minorities - whether Islamic or otherwise. They have finally learned that they CAN speak out.
