SPORT'S ugly side was again on show in Sydney's west yesterday.
A day after a man was assaulted with a cricket stump at a local cricket match in Bossley Park, a nasty brawl broke out at a soccer match in Willmot.
Mt Druitt Police were called to Peter Van Hassalt Park in Palmyra Ave about 4.45pm after reports of a fight involving up to 30 people.
The brawl included males and females from their late teens to early 20s. Initial reports indicated the fight may have been racially motivated.
Investigators arrested one man and five others were taken to hospital, three to Westmead and two to Nepean. One of those remains under police guard.
Numerous weapons were seized, including a chisel, soccer corner post, spanner and knife, and items of clothing were also seized for forensic examination.
All Africans were responsible for this ... "Chimp out". Typical Sudanese garbage!
