POLICE found 18people *coons*spread across two unroadworthy vehicles in remote Central Australia, after concerned relatives reported they hadn't returned from a funeral in Western Australia.
NT Emergency Service volunteers immediately set about finding the vehicles, which were located on the NT side of the road to Kwirrikurra about 12.30pm on Saturday.
Three had "ongoing health issues" and were treated on the scene by Kintore medical clinic staff.
Paramedics and NTES volunteers piled all 18 people into their vehicles.
Locals were praised for alerting authorities so the situation "could be quickly resolved and no one was put in any added danger".
But police say they will be "having a long discussion with the drivers of these two vehicles, particularly with regard to occupant numbers and vehicle maintenance".
Who else would try shove like 9 people in a car each and drive inter-state? Would you like to be on the road when they are driving near you? TYPICAL COON STUFF!
... LIVING NEXT DOOR TO ALLAN!
