People from cold climates have evolved faster.
Our ancestors had to build things like castles to take not only shelter in winter, but because they had neighbours that were advanced with weapons who'd kill them if they didn't have good protection.
Ambitious projects like castles don't come about if you can't :-plan, co-ordinate trades, have good conflict resolution and good management.
People like Coons and Jigaboos and Co-co nuts never had to build much and solve issues with their "Hulk Smash!" Mentality. That is clearly the reason why their incarceration rates are higher!
