Allan and Treasurer Jaclyn Symes abandoned the media event in West Melbourne after Sewell began shouting at the premier.

'Hey Jacinta Allan, why don't Australians have the right to protest? Why don't Australians have a right to protest?' Sewell falsely claimed.

'Shouldn't we have the right to speak in our own country, you coward.

'We're going to take this country back from politicians like you.

'I've never see anyone shake your hand. I had 500 people come up to me and shake my hand on the weekend.'

As the National Socialist Network leader walked away, he said: 'Heil Australia.'

Sewell, who spoke at a March for Australia protest on Sunday, had been attempting to confront Allan as she spoke to reporters.

Sewell was also seen screaming at security officers who restrained him from Allan, Symes and the media pack.

'Don't put your f***ing hands on me!' Sewell yelled.

The neo-Nazi leader reportedly claimed the confrontation was not planned.

He said he had left the court nearby when he witnessed the press conference and decided to seized the opportunity the confront Allan.

The Victorian Premier said in a statement she was 'unharmed and undeterred', following the incident.

'It comes as no surprise that Nazis oppose me and my government,' she said.

'But this isn't about me. It's about all the other people in the community who Nazis target – like multicultural people, LGBTIQA+ people, First Peoples, and Jews.

She then had Sewell arrested.

Confronting footage has emerged of protesters storming an Indigenous camp in Melbourne after Sunday's "March for Australia" rallies.

Video circulating online shows a group of men wearing black attacking people at Camp Sovereignty, at Kings Domain

The group reportedly included members of the National Socialist Network – leader Thomas Sewell among them.

Four people were injured in the incident after the group arrived at the camp about 5pm on Sunday. Two were hospitalised with severe head injuries.

The footage shows the men tearing down an Aboriginal flag and chanting, "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi oi, oi". Those at Camp Sovereignty responded with "always was, always will be, Aboriginal land".

"Please just leave," a woman can be heard calling out.

"Stop fighting... stop fighting, please."

Camp Sovereignty was  first created in 2006 to coincide with the Commonwealth Games and re-established in 2024. It is a burial site with the remains of Indigenous people from 38 clans.

Organisers said Sunday's attack was unprovoked.

"They came armed with poles to attack a group of predominantly women at a peace camp," co-founder Keiran Stewart-Assheton told the ABC.
