Joe Biden is taking initial action to address an "epidemic" of gun violence in America which the US president described as "an international embarrassment".

After another mass shooting claimed five lives, including two children, Mr Biden unveiled six executive orders which do not need Congress approval.
Link: NIGGER MURDERS WHITE FAMILY

His announcement delivers on a pledge made last month to take immediate "common-sense steps" to address gun violence but fall far short of the sweeping gun-control agenda he laid out on the campaign trail

"The idea that we have so many people dying every single day from gun violence in America is a blemish on our character as a nation," Mr Biden said during remarks at the White House on Thursday (local time).

"Every day in this country 315 people are shot – every day.

"This is an epidemic for God's sake. And it has to stop."

Mr Biden referred to the latest mass shooting involving a former NFL player.

"As I was coming to the Oval Office I got the word that in South Carolina, a physician, with his wife, two grandchildren and a person working at his house were gunned down," he said.

"So many people sitting here today know what it's like when the seconds change your life forever."

In recent months, between the mass killings in Atlanta massage businesses and the Colorado grocery store shooting last month, there were more than 850 additional shootings that killed 250 and injured 500 in the US, Mr Biden explained.

Blaming Whitey
As part of the measures, Mr Biden is tightening regulations on buyers of "ghost guns" – homemade firearms being taken up by neo-Nazis and that often lack serial numbers, making them difficult to trace them.

It is legal to build a gun in a home or a workshop and there is no federal requirement for a background check.

The Justice Department will issue a proposed rule requiring such gun kits be treated as firearms under the Gun Control Act, which would require that the parts be made with serial numbers and that buyers receive background checks.

A second proposed rule, expected within 60 days, will tighten regulations on pistol-stabilising braces like the one used by the {MUSLIM} Boulder shooter in a rampage last month that left 10 dead.

The rule will designate pistols used with stabilising braces as short-barrelled rifles, which require a federal licence to own and are subject to a more thorough application process and a $US200 ($262) tax.

The department also is publishing model legislation within 60 days that is intended to make it easier for states to adopt their own "red flag" laws.

Such laws allow for individuals to petition a court to allow the police to confiscate weapons from a person deemed to be a danger to themselves or others.

The department also will begin to provide more data on firearms trafficking starting with a new comprehensive report on the issue, something the administration says hasn't been done in more than two decades.

The Biden administration will also make investments in community violence intervention programs, which are aimed at reducing gun violence in urban communities, across five federal agencies.

Family members whose children were killed at the Sandy Hook, school massacre in Connecticut in 2012 and the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, in 2018 attended the hearing

Why target fabricators of their own guns "Neo-Nazis? Are there others who make them or just Nazis? Sounds simple to buy guns in most US states to me. Why sneak about in the shadows and make your own?

White British admin worker who was in 'minority' at transport company wins £2,500 racism claim after his Asian boss branded English people 'lazy' and colleagues joked he was 'drunk'

* James Heeley said he was repeatedly teased about his nationality by colleagues
* Employment tribunal found he was victim of race discrimination and harassment
* Boss Gurvinder Singh Birk was ordered to pay Mr Heeley £2,500 compensation

Amie Gordon | Daily Mail (UK) | 2 April 2021

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9426575/White-British-admin-worker-wins-2-500-racism-claim.html

A British employee has won a racism claim after his boss said English people were 'lazy

James Heeley said he was repeatedly teased about his nationality by colleagues who asked whether he was 'still drunk' and accused him of being workshy

The transport administrator worked for Peterborough-based transport company, Birk Holdings, and was one of five white British employees out of 16 staff.

On one occasion, he claimed he overheard boss Gurvinder Singh Birk, saying: 'No more English drivers should be used as they are lazy and only interested in claiming benefits.'

An employment tribunal found Mr Heeley was the victim of race discrimination and harassment and ordered his former employer to pay him £2,500 compensation

While the company claimed staff had 'just been joking', the panel disagreed, adding in its ruling: 'Many extremely unpleasant behaviours can be dressed up as jokes but it is no excuse.'

The hearing in Bury St Edmunds was told Mr Heeley began working for the Peterborough-based transport company, Birk Holdings in October 2017.

At the time five of its 16 employees were white British, and the panel heard this put Mr Heeley 'in the minority'.

From February 2018 to February of the following year, the tribunal found Mr Heeley was the victim of numerous discriminatory comments made by his fellow colleagues.

He told the hearing that senior employees had said, 'English drivers do drive slowly' and that Mr Heeley did 'not do a lot of work because he's English'

The panel heard that on one occasion, employees Wiktoria Kolenska and Sandra Liutkevciene said to him: '[We] can tell you're British as you don't have your coat on, are you still drunk from last night?'

After Mr Heeley took a few days off sick, he told the court that another employee, Vilius Augustis, had said: 'Oh, the lazy English worker has decided to come back to work.'

The panel heard that manager Mr Birk also told another senior employee not to hire British workers because they 'can turn you down easily and claim benefits.'

Mr Augustis allegedly said to Mr Heeley: 'Lazy English workers are always off sick,' the tribunal was told

At the tribunal another employee had argued that the comments were 'mere jokes' made by colleagues by his 'perceived friends' and that Mr Heeley would 'join in.

But the panel, chaired by Employment Judge Jennifer Bartlett, concluded that he had been discriminated against.

'We consider that the comments are serious such that they create a hostile and/or intimidating environment because they are by a number of reasonably senior individuals, over a period of time, repeated and in a workplace in which the claimant was a minority,' it said.

'We do not accept that the fact that he called some of the comments jokes undermines their effect on him. Many extremely unpleasant behaviours can be dressed up as jokes but it is no excuse.

According to Anti-Whites, only Whites are capable of being RACIST. Therefore Whites cannot ever be victims of RACISM ...

White people 'must keep quiet when racism is discussed': Call by Paris's deputy mayor prompts new fury over 'American woke culture' taking over France

Lauren Lewis | Daily Mail (UK) | 30 March 2021

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9417445/Paris-deputy-mayor-prompts-fury-Whites-quiet-racism-discussed.html

Paris's deputy mayor has prompted fury by calling to ban white people from discussions of racism Left-wing deputy mayor Audrey Pulvar, 49, said white people should 'be asked to keep quiet and be silent spectators' during discussions around racism attended by black and ethnic minority people
She explained: 'People who suffer discrimination for the same reasons and in the same way feel the need to meet among themselves to discuss it.'

The comments made by Pulvar, who was born in Martinique, have re-sparked concerns over the rise of American woke culture in the French state.

A collection of politicians, prominent intellectuals, and academics argued last month that France was being contaminated by American ideas on race, gender, and post-colonialism, and that they were undermining French society.

The group have seen Pulvar's comment as proof French society is being eroded by American ideals, The Times reports

Former socialist Prime Minister Manuel Valls said Pulvar's comments betrayed French values in an interview on Europe 1 Radio.

He said: 'This rhetoric, always justifying the victim, leads to disaster... Do you have to be Jewish to talk about antisemitism?'

The row, which has highlighted divisions in French politics, was prolonged when President Emmanuel Macron waded into the debate in a speech on the 'Fight against Separatism' in October.

Macron warned against leaving 'the intellectual debate to others' as he cautioned over the rise of 'social science theories' imported from the US.

Macron also claimed the increasing prevalence of American woke culture in France was a threat to national unity.

The French President had previously mostly remained silent on the matter, with the official government line being dismissive of race and systemic racism.

The debate has unearthed the schisms within French politics - most prominently between traditional Socialists and Greens and radicals, who have openly adopted American identity politics

The row follows tension over protests against police violence last summer in France, sparked by the death in police custody of George Floyd.

The wave of protests saw activists take to the streets and students pressure institution to disinvite well-known speakers.

The mid-June protests in Paris were organised under the banner 'Justice for Adama', after Adama Traoré, a 24-year-old black man who died in French police custody in 2016.

Family and friends said he died of asphyxiation, in the manner of George Floyd, the American said to have been murdered by police in Minneapolis, Minnesota,in May 2020

Among the protesters was Assa Traoré, Adama's sister, who called on people to 'denounce social, racial, and police violence'.

Ms Traoré said: 'What's happening in the United States is happening in France. Our brothers are dying.'

Mr Traore had run away from a police check in Beaumont-sur-Oise, a town north of Paris, and hours later died at a nearby police station.

The vague circumstances of the incident have led to allegations of a state cover-up, and his family have been fighting for justice ever since.

Academics criticised the protests in France.

In February, social scientists Stéphane Beaud and Gérard Noiriel published a book in which they claimed that race is a 'bulldozer' that destroys other subjects

The pair said they believe race should not be studied as an academic subject in France, as the secular government does not recognise it

&:( If white people dare talk about race it could spark division and riots and it's better to sweep it under the mat and ignore race because they want to brain wash people into thinking race is not real and it doesn't matter.

When the MSM say "Racist" or "Hate-Crime," guilty or not, they are Blaming Whitey ...

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9409355/Bay-Area-teen-victim-potential-hate-crime-shot-right-eye.html

A Bay Area woman was shot 'through her right eye' last weekend in an incident that her family is calling a hate crime.

The shooting comes as the United States grapples with a surge in anti-Asian violence, including a series of shootings in Atlanta that took the lives of eight people

Police have not confirmed that those shootings were hate crimes, but they haven't taken it off the table either.

Jessica Dimalanta, 19, of Vallejo, California was attending car stunt shows with four friends in San Francisco in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 21, when several suspects allegedly in a dark sedan opened fire on the grey Lexus she was riding in.

Dimalanta and a 19-year-old male were hit, while the other three friends were spared as the suspects fled the scene.

She was then taken to UCSF Mission Bay Hospital in San Francisco.

Dimalanta was later transferred to San Francisco General Hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

Police have not made reference to a hate crime during their investigation, according to NextShark.

But multiple family members of Dimalanta, including her uncle and mother, claim that she was targeted for being Asian.

Dimalanta's uncle, Dexter Martin, started a GoFundMe page for his niece, which has raised over $38,000 for her care so far.

According to Martin, a bullet went 'straight through her right eye,' leaving the teenager 'permanently impaired.

'While doctors were able to remove the shell, fragments still are embedded in her face, and she is unable to chew and speak without pain,' Martin wrote.

Dimalanta, who was recently diagnosed with diabetes, also tested positive for COVID-19 while in the hospital, forcing her into quarantine

'Jessica will need medical care, is afraid for her life, and does not want to go outside because she fears something else is happening to her,' Martin says, noting she will require physical and mental therapy.

'Jessica is the sweetest, kind, caring person with an angelic voice, loves to sing and spend time with her family,' Martin says.

'She helps her single mother take care of her younger siblings, nieces, and nephews. She did not deserve to have to suffer like this. No one deserves this at all.'

Dimalanta was set to begin classes this week with the goal of becoming a healthcare provider, but her injuries have put that plan on hold

The GoFund Me concludes: 'We also want to bring awareness to the anti-Asian violence and racism that is evolving around us. Let's, please work together to stop senseless violent hate crimes and continue to take care of one another.

'We are praying for past and current victims of these crimes, and hope we can move toward a safer and more inclusive society

Two months ago, Thai immigrant Vicha Ratanapakdee, 84, was killed in San Francisco in an incident widely believed to be a hate crime.

A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder and elder abuse, according to CNN.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8644781/Satanist-ex-soldier-sentenced-2-1-2-years-bomb-plot.html

A 'satanist' ex-soldier with ties to white supremacist groups and who hoped to overthrow the US government has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in federal prison over a bomb plot.

Jarrett William Smith, a 24-year-old private first class stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, was sentenced Wednesday for distributing information through social media about building a bomb and making napalm.
Smith was arrested in September after discussing plans to use explosives with an undercover FBI agent.

During those conversations, Smith reportedly suggested that the agent target a news organization, said to be CNN, with a car bomb.

He is also alleged to have said that he would like to target Beto O'Rourke for 'fire, destruction and death'.

A federal judge rejected a request from Smith's attorney for a lenient sentence of 15 months in prison Wednesday, saying the former soldier wanted to start a 'race war' and had endangered 'countless members of the public' with his bomb plot.

US District Judge Daniel Crabtree said he was surprised that federal sentencing guidelines called for such a 'low' prison sentence for 'troubling and serious' criminal behavior, adding that Smith shared on social media 'multistep plans to create chaos.'

'His planned actions, if executed, would have endangered countless members of the public,' Crabtree said

Federal law called for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, but sentencing guidelines said the presumed punishment for a first-time offender like Smith was two-and-a-half years to a little over three years in prison.

Crabtree also ordered three years of supervised probation for Smith after his release from prison.

Smith's attorney had argued that because he had red hair and a cleft lip and palate, Smith had endured a lifetime of victimization, isolation and trauma, which led him to become involved with online extremist groups.

Federal public defender Rich Federico said in a court filing that Smith endured a near-daily barrage of bullying as a child and had repeated, painful reconstructive surgeries

In 2010, when he was a freshman in high school, Smith learned he had been on a classmate's 'hit list' as the intended target of a thwarted school shooting and bomb plot, his defense claimed.

'That has a huge impact on who you are,' Federico said Wednesday.

The Anti-Defamation League has said Smith was associated with the neo-Nazi Feuerkrieg Division, which advocates for a race war and promotes some of the most extreme views of the white supremacist movement

Federico said Smith lacked the basic knowledge to actually build explosive devices and was often 'just regurgitating' what he'd seen online.

'He's not far removed from adolescence,' Federico told the judge.

'He is particularly vulnerable to extremists online.'

Prosecutors argued that Smith admitted to providing information about making explosives to an FBI undercover agent in September 2019 and that FBI bomb technicians determined that his recipes were viable

Prosecutors said Smith planned to overthrow the government, with attacking a news organization as a first step.

An FBI affidavit said Smith suggested to the undercover agent targeting an unidentified major news organization with a car bomb, and CNN reported that it was the target, citing two sources familiar with the investigation.

The affidavit said the FBI undercover agent asked Smith if there was anyone in Texas to target for 'fire, destruction and death,' and that Smith mentioned 'Beto,' an apparent reference to former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke, who was running at the time for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The affidavit said Smith told another FBI agent before his arrest that his goal was to create 'chaos.'

Prosecutors said in September that Smith told the agent he distributed explosives information 'for the glory of his Satanist religion,' though they provided few other details, other than saying that Smith liked 'black metal' music designed to attract people to Satan.

An FBI affidavit in September alleged that Smith discussed a plan to kill 'antifa' activists and described how to build a bomb that could be triggered by calling a cellphone

According to a statement put out by the Department of Justice,  Smith also spoke to others on social media about wanting to travel to Ukraine to fight with a violent, far-right military group.

The affidavit identified the Ukrainian paramilitary group as Azov Battalion and said Smith was mentored by someone who had fought with a similar group there, Right Sector.

Federal investigators have said Smith had encrypted communications with a Missouri man who this year planned to bomb a Kansas City-area hospital because he was distressed by the government´s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

That man killed himself in March during a firefight with FBI agents as they served an arrest warrant, according to the FBI

Smith pleaded guilty back in February to two counts of distributing information related to explosives, destructive devices and weapons of mass destruction.

Smith joined the Army in June 2017. He served as an infantry soldier and was trained in combat and tactical operations at Fort Bliss, Texas.

He was transferred to Fort Riley, Kansas last July - where he was arrested last year.

Seems like he wears an "Odinist mjölner" that isn't satanist. Black metal fans aren't all satanists. He sounds like a silly kid  for illegal activity but I think the media are trying to sensationalise a few aspects.

"White Supremacist" executed against victim's families request to cancel

A white supremacist has been killed by lethal injection in the first US federal execution for nearly two decades
.

Daniel Lewis Lee, who tortured and murdered a couple and their eight-year-old daughter and dumped them in water, was executed at the federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana.

"I didn't do it," he said just before he was killed.

"I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, but I'm not a murderer... You're killing an innocent man."

Lee's execution was postponed by a district court on Monday over a legal challenge against a new injection protocol, but in the early hours the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that it could go ahead.

Federal executions are rare - the vast majority are carried out by individual states - with only three since 1988 and the last in 2003.

Relatives of those killed by Lee in 1996 had wanted him to get a life sentence and said the execution wasn't being done in their name

Lee was recruited into a white supremacist group called the Aryan Peoples Republic in 1995 by co-defendant Chevie Kehoe.

Two years later, they were arrested for killing gun dealer William Mueller and his wife and daughter in Tilly, Arkansas.

They stole guns and $50,000 from the family as part of a plan to set up a whites-only nation in the Pacific Northwest, prosecutors said at their 1999 trial.

Lee and Kehoe are said to have tortured their victims, using stun guns and putting plastic bags over their heads

Rocks were attached to their bodies and they were dumped in a nearby bayou.

Despite being the apparent ringleader, Kehoe received a life sentence for his part in the killings.
Admin Note: In our experience, that is more like a reward for working for the FBI.

Lee was pronounced dead at 8.07am eastern US time on Tuesday.

The victims' family had wanted to be present at the execution in order to make clear their objections to the sentence.

Relative Monica Veillette said: "For us it is a matter of being there and saying, 'This is not being done in our name; we do not want this.'"

US Attorney General William Barr said the Justice Department had a duty to resolve the legal wrangling and carry out the sentences.

Civil rights groups fought the execution and critics claimed the government was moving forward for political gain.

Two other federal executions are scheduled for later this week, although one is on hold pending a separate legal claim.

There have been two state executions since the coronavirus lockdown in mid-March, according to the Death Penalty Information Centre (DPIC).

One was in Texas, the other Missouri. Alabama also carried one out in early March

Quote from: Numerous- The first system rusted out just on the warranty period ended up with water in the roof. Complained to Local installed/distributor Todds Plumbing they werent interested. Chromagen them selves come up with a replacement tank but we got charged $800 to replace it by Todds Plumbing. The replacement tank is not there two years and one of the fittings is amost rusted out. Got informed by Todds that they are notorious for rusting out there and if it hasnt been caught quick enough the rust spreads into the main tank and it is then @#$%^

- Appalling Product, Appalling Service. Challenging Staff and Installers.
published 7 months ago

- What to say to make this pollically correct when so frustrated and now Angry. Chromagen would have to be the worst company running in Australia and trust me I've come across some challenging situations. Our Cylinder has more leaks than a punctured bladder. It's only 18 months old. The cylinder was chosen by home builder and placed outside bedroom window on the pathway, facing the hot afternoon Qld sun more than likely why the cylinder only lasted this amount of time. Fortunately we thought this would be covered by Warranty. When calling the office, make sure you have plenty of time as it's one of those message banks, press 1 for this, 2 for that, 3 for this well you get the idea, then put on hold for an age listening to some depressing music and other messages asking if you would like to leave a message or email. By the way they don't return a phone call if you leave a message.

- When I finally got through to speak to a real person they asked that I send in photos for evidence of leaking cylinder. I did this and received an email back to say they would be replacing the cylinder under warranty. Great! They would send a replacement cylinder and an installer would contact me to arrange for the swap over.

- So came home from work one afternoon to find cylinder under the carport. No phone call or communication this was happening.
We then thought there is no point placing the Cylinder back in the same spot as mentioned the placement of Cylinder was nowhere near ideal. So called Chromagen and let them know of changes. Mentioned this on numerous occasions and to different admin and other workers. We made arrangements for our Plumbers including his Electrician to mirror the pipes and electrical wiring on the opposite wall. Piping was exposed as to difficult to install in walls without a lot of damage. I contacted the office and let them know we were doing this and they never mentioned a word or let me know this would be a problem. So come the day we had organised the so called Plumbers to install. [Name Removed] introduces himself, I showed him where things were going and where they were. Well that was enough to get him going mentioning he was not informed about installing this in a different location. I said no biggy everything is the same just need to install it. He said oh No he couldn't do this because the wiring was new and it was in another place and the cover was covering wiring and he wasn't an electrician so couldn't remove the cover. (Cover was held on by 4 Phillips head screws). I said that the wiring is exactly the same it has just been pulled through to the other side and the cover was there for safety. I would undo the screws to expose wiring. Anyway his work colleague [Name Removed] turned up and after discussing for an hr and a half they came up with the conclusion they weren't able to complete the install as it was considered a new install. Ummm yes it's a new install it's a new Cylinder. All the pipe work is exactly the same as the other wall except they're exposed. They are at the same height in fact the install was made easier as the faulty Cylinder had already been detached by our Plumber earlier in the day. It was only a matter of taking off the old pipe work from the faulty Cylinder and placing on new Cylinder and hooking onto new pipe work instead of the existing. It's that easy I could do it myself. So in the end they came to the door and [Name Removed] asked "How is your day going? My thoughts "You're seriously asking me this". [Name Removed] said to install they would have to charge us. French was spoken and they left. As this was a Friday (a day and time they set up for their convenience) we now have no hot water for I don't know how long. These people would have to be the most challenging, unreliable people I have come across. This company needs to be investigated. Clearly from other reviews I am not the only one who has been frustrated, ripped off and Angered by their products and staff. I can't tell you what to do but I would highly recommend staying well clear of Chromagen and associates or any Building Company that uses them

:-\ &:(I read a whole lot of product reviews of their products. Most people were disgruntled with their product, their service, the way their assistance line is.

In short the majority of people thought everything about this Jew business was shonky! It is an interesting read!

Indonesia: Farmers Use Orangutan as Sex Slave

JUNGLE'S SICK SECRET The horrifying story of a prostitute orangutan named Pony who was chained to a bed, shaved daily and forced to perform sex acts on men twice her size

Pony spent six years having sex with men twice her size and was forced into wearing make-up and jewellery

Miranda Cox | The Sun (UK) | 26 November 2018

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/7829159/the-horrifying-story-of-a-prostitute-orangutan-who-was-chained-to-a-bed-shaved-daily-and-forced-to-perform-sex-acts-on-men-twice-her-size

Excerpt: CHAINED to a wall and lying on a dirty mattress with a full face of make-up, Pony the orangutan waited for her next client.

Men working in the nearby palm oil farm in Borneo would come into the brothel and could pay a couple of quid to have sex with a prostitute, or, shockingly, with her.

Knowing what was expected, Pony would gyrate her hips when a punter came to the door before being raped by men twice the size of her who paid her owner for the experience.

Stolen from her mum as a baby, the gentle ape's entire body was shaved every other day, leaving her skin irritated, covered in sores and prone to mosquito bites – and she was taught how to perform sex acts

The threat to the existence of orangutans is an issue currently thrust to the forefront, with Iceland's now-banned Christmas advert highlighting the impact the non-sustainable palm oil trade is having on their lowland jungle habitat in Borneo and Sumatra.

Here, The Sun Online speaks to the Orangutan experts who helped rescue and look after Pony, and investigates the illegal ape trafficking trade – where primates are sold for up to £10,000 via the black market and are even bought through social media sites

No one knows exactly how long Pony was forced to work as a prostitute before being rescued from a brothel in Indonesia.

It's taken over a decade for Pony to recover from the unimaginable cruelty she suffered at the  "brothel" village – a destination popular with local farm workers who used prostitutes.

Katie Piper's acid attacker has been recalled to prison after he was arrested by police for a string of car thefts

Looks like a bloody Eastern European Gypsy!

Stefan Sylvestre is believed to have been recalled to Highpoint jail in Suffolk where he was released last year after serving nine years of his sentence.

The 31-year-old was jailed in 2009 for throwing acid on the former model, on the orders of her jealous boyfriend Daniel Lynch.

It is understood that he has been arrested on suspicion of 16 offences of taking vehicles without consent, the Sun reported.

He was also held on suspicion of making threats of violence and the offences are not thought to be related in any way to former strictly star Katie, 36.

The source said: 'Sylvestre will now be held while any new criminal case against him develops. It's a bitter blow for him so soon after his release

In October last year Sylvestre was released after having served just nine years of his indeterminate life term.

After the acid attack Katie was left blind in one eye and has been scarred for life. She has had to have reconstructive surgery.

Sylvestre was barred from a zone around her address and was also barred from contacting her.

Due to the legal system in the UK, he will have to face a Parole Board in order to determine if he is fit for release – even if he didn't commit any new offences.

Earlier this year Katie underwent painful facial surgery in Pakistan. The star has undergone around 300 operations since the attack.

Earlier this week she posted selfies on Instagram to mark the International day for Elimination of violence against women.

The television personality, 36, said while the scantily-clad snap could be seen as 'narcissistic', she had in fact posted it because Instagram had previously blocked photos of her harrowing injuries from her 2008 acid attack

Katie told fans she was showing off her figure because 'no one in my life controls me, tells me what to wear or comes at me in a jealous rage for feeling attractive.

https://independentaustralia.net/politics/politics-display/frydenberg-caught-out-on-citizenship-lie,12986

Facts are surfacing about Josh Frydenberg's mother's citizenship and the lie he tried to spin, writes investigations editor Ross Jones.

AS SCOMO might exclaim, if he wasn't speaking in tongues, "How good was it not to be a European Jew in 1943?"

Probably not that good, but an awful lot better than being a Jew.

The gut-wrenching tales of the horror these poor people endured under the fascists has entered the human psyche as a moment, a marker, forever to be referred to when the very worst of human nature gains supremacy.

That's what makes the Holocaust defence of Josh Frydenberg's right to be in the Australian parliament so offensive

Speaking in 2017, then Labor deputy leader Tanya Plibersek warned the questions about Mr Frydenberg's eligibility for Parliament were "getting into pretty disturbing territory. I mean, these people like many millions fled the Holocaust,'' she said.

The problem is that it's not the point, not the reason for Frydenberg's possible –  or probable – ineligibility.

Frydenberg might yet fall to an s44, though this article has nothing to do with any such possibility. It's unlikely at best.

What this article is about is Frydenberg knowingly giving false information to the Parliament.

In his Statement in Relation to Citizenship – 45th Parliament, Joshua Anthony Frydenberg correctly noted his mother's birth details as 5 October 1943 in Budapest

When asked, under Section 3(d) of the form to list the steps he had taken to assure himself he had not 'acquired citizenship of another country by descent, marriage or other means', Frydenberg listed three reasons he had assured himself, the first of which was:

'I have retrieved documentation regarding the citizenship of my parents and grandparents from available family sources. Searches have been made of archival material available in Australia regarding my parents' and grandparents' citizenship

In a recent article, IA pointed out a Queensland pensioner had, single-handedly and with no office staff, uncovered documentation showing Frydenberg's mother was most certainly a Hungarian citizen when she arrived in New South Wales in 1951.

No doubt about it.

Frydenberg, who is a blisteringly smart, has the grunt to demand answers from bureaucracy and has staff available to him at no personal charge, could not do this.

And this guy is in charge of the economy.

Division 137 is not the only section of the Crimes Act Frydenberg might fall foul of, but it gives an idea of how serious deliberately misleading the Commonwealth is,

137.1   False or misleading information
             (1)  A person commits an offence if:
                     (a)  the person gives information to another person; and
                     (b)  the person does so knowing that the information:
                              (i)  is false or misleading; or
(ii)  omits any matter or thing without which the information is misleading; and
                     (c)  any of the following subparagraphs applies:
                              (i)  the information is given to a Commonwealth entity;
                             (ii)  the information is given to a person who is exercising powers or performing functions under, or in connection with, a law of the Commonwealth;
(iii)  the information is given in compliance or purported compliance with a law of the Commonwealth.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 12 months.
So that's a lay down misère

Frydenberg told a deliberate porky to Parliament because there is no way – unless he is a compete dill, which he is not – that he did not see the same documents as Tony Magrathea before he put pen to paper.

So he knew about these when he completed his Qualification Checklist.

Lawyer Trevor Poulton threatened to bring an s44 challenge to Josh's eligibility on the grounds that, because Frydenberg's mother was a Hungarian citizen, Josh might have a right to Hungarian privileges. Fair question.

Well, our PM went ballistic, spitting righteous indignation from every orifice in his head plus one:

"I'll tell you what it's a time to draw a line on, and it's anti-Semitism. I mean, the scourge of anti-Semitic graffiti that we've seen in Melbourne just this year, it is absolutely sickening and disgraceful. And for a Holocaust denier and an anti-Semite to seek to progress that agenda by pretending to have some sort of constitutional purity on Josh Frydenberg, I'm just going to call it out for what it is. And I think Australians... I think they would share that. Anti-Semitism has no place in this country

A neo-Nazi who was jailed for life for murdering her partner as he slept in his Perth home is seeking to overturn her conviction, insisting she's innocent and arguing her lawyer didn't follow instructions.

Alan Taylor was killed in April 2016 at the Girrawheen house he shared with the mother of his son, Melony Jane Attwood, 39, and her 22-year-old live-in lover Robert Edhouse.

The 42-year-old FIFO boilermaker was bludgeoned with a hammer and left to die while the killers messed up the house to make it look like a burglary, then went to a movie in a bid to create an alibi

Attwood, who led the neo-Nazi group Aryan Girls, has continuously protested her innocence.

But she and Edhouse, who was the president of Aryan Nations, were both convicted of murder after a Supreme Court of WA trial last year.

Attwood testified in person in the WA Court of Appeal on Tuesday, admitting she signed a document acknowledging she had elected not to take the stand at trial, believing 'the evidence was enough to speak for itself'.

She said she wasn't aware at the time, however, that Edhouse was going to get in the dock and testify against her.

Attwood insisted her lawyer Richard Utting only told her later Edhouse was going to use a 'cut-throat' defence, so she would at the very least be convicted of being an accessory

Her voice wavered as she said she 'broke down and cried' in response.

'I didn't have anything to do with it after the fact or before,' she said.

Attwood also insisted she didn't agree to Mr Utting not cross-examining Edhouse.

'I believed that my lawyer would stand up for me,' she said.

'I was shocked sitting in the dock but I didn't want to interrupt and say something because it would be rude.'

Attwood said she was also shocked Mr Utting conceded in his closing address that she lied to police and helped cover up the crime, but only out of loyalty to her white supremacist friends.

Edhouse's former acolyte Corey Joshua Dymock was acquitted of murder but found guilty of being an accessory while a fourth person, an associate of the group who cannot be identified, pleaded guilty to murder and was given a reduced sentence for testifying.

The Director of Public Prosecutions is also appealing the minimum 21-year sentences handed down to Attwood and Edhouse

I wonder if Aryan nation's actually met with these guys before setting up shop here , or thechapter was established from some kind of long distance communications?

Looks like they have a bad name here now. Can't see many people wanting involvement.

Dogs 'starving and neglected' in far north Queensland Indigenous community

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-07-06/dogs-yarrabah-neglected-mistreated-out-of-control/9945978

Excerpt: A volunteer animal rescue worker has described the abuse and neglect of dogs in the Aboriginal community of Yarrabah, south of Cairns, as "out of control".

Lyn Dadd, 59, visits Yarrabah two to three times a week with approval from the local council, and estimates she had rescued at least 2,000 dogs from the community in the past two years.

She believed the problem was escalating and said she had been particularly disturbed by several cases in the past week, including finding a dog with a hacked-off paw and finding another beaten so badly it could not walk.

"I received a phone call from a distraught woman asking for help," she said.

"Her brother had beaten his dog in a fit of rage the previous night, kicking her several times.

Ms Dadd said she saw an emaciated female Bull Arab cross struggling to walk.

"When I pulled over I noticed that the paw was gone," she said.

"It was a clean cut, like a cut you could imagine ... with a cane cutting knife.

"It was an extremely clean cut, so it's not a cut where she'd been hit and lost a paw."

Ms Dadd said she took the dog to the vet, but it was put down.

"One look at the Bull Arab and [the vet] said, 'no, the animal needs to be put to sleep — it would not cope with an operation, it's too far gone as far as infection and starvation'," she said.

Lookin' for a Handout ...

Yarrabah Aborginal Shire council CEO, Janelle Menzies, said there was not enough money or resources to fully deal with the problem, admitting it was "out of control".

"We have been lobbying the State Government for more funding considering we are one of the biggest Indigenous communities but we get the same amount of funding as all the other Indigenous communities.

"We get poorly funded [but] we're trying to meet the concerns of the RSPCA."

Black Privilege

"People should report animal welfare concerns to the RSPCA, and officers could help without necessarily resorting to prosecution (of Indigenous people)."

The homeless dog population in these places are out of control. They Roam, scavenge and fight with Abos doing little to help them. I have even heard of them feeding Dogs to Crocodiles for fun.

The RSPCA doesn't seem to want to go fix the problems in these places. If you do hurt /neglect animals in an urban area expect penalties. The Abos they won't touch though!

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7622301/Jewish-horror-far-right-surge-German-state-election.html

Jewish leaders have reacted with horror after a German far-right leader who has been compared to Adolf Hitler captained the nationalist AfD party into second place in a state election last night.

Björn Höcke's party surged to 23 per cent of the vote in Thuringia, beating Angela Merkel's CDU into third place.

Mr Höcke, who has criticised Berlin's Holocaust memorial and questioned whether Hitler was 'entirely evil', stormed out of a TV interview during the campaign after his rhetoric was compared to that of the Nazi dictator.

Today a series of Jewish community leaders voiced alarm over the results

Josef Schuster, the head of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, accused the AfD of using 'cheap racist propaganda'.

'Anyone who voted for the AfD on Sunday shares responsibility for the gradual undermining of the foundations of our democracy,' he said.

The AfD's success could no longer be dismissed as a 'protest vote', because there was no denying the hard-right ideology of the party's Thuringia branch, he said.

Charlotte Knobloch, a Holocaust survivor who heads Munich's Jewish community, said that 'something fundamental has gone off the rails in our political system

AfD supporters had 'backed a party that has for years prepared the ground for exclusion and violence of the far-right,' she warned.

Christoph Heubner, deputy president of the International Auschwitz Committee, which represents survivors of the Nazi death camp, also voiced fears over the result.

'For survivors of German concentration camps, this strong increase in votes for the AfD is a new terrifying sign that raises fear of a further consolidation of right-wing extremist trends and attitudes in Germany,' he said.

Thuringia is in the former East Germany where far-right extremism has flourished in recent years and where the far left is also strong
Many East Germans still feel disadvantaged nearly 30 years since the Berlin Wall came down and the West's traditional parties never had deep roots there.

Founded in 2013, the anti-immigrant AfD has profited from anger over Angela Merkel's refugee policies and entered the German national parliament for the first time in 2017.

The party's strong result last night came just weeks after an anti-Semitic attack in Halle - also in the East - in which two people were shot dead near a synagogue.

After the attack, Germany's anti-Semitism commissioner Felix Klein warned that the AfD had trafficked in incendiary anti-Jewish sentiment

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/oct/03/shell-accused-of-fuelling-nigeria-conflict

In 1796, pirates who committed heinous crimes against individuals could be held liable under the Alien Tort Statute, which permits civil suits by foreigners in federal courts for violations of "the law of nations or a treaty of the United States." The law was passed by the first Congress in 1789. In 2002, 12 Nigerian nationals sued Royal Dutch Shell under the ATS, alleging that the oil company had colluded with the Nigerian military from 1992 to 1995 to suppress a grass-roots protest movement against oil exploration in the Niger delta. Specifically, members of the Ogoni people contend that Royal Dutch Shell aided and abetted the Nigerian government in torturing, executing, and arbitrarily detaining Ogoni activists. Esther Kiobel, the named plaintiff, is the widow of a victim

The question for the court is whether Shell is immune from this suit because it is a corporation, not a person. Or—as Justice Stephen Breyer puts it this morning at oral argument—what would happen if the Pirates were a corporation.  A corporation called, say, "Pirates Inc.

The ATS was almost never invoked between the 18th century and the 1980s, at which time human rights organizations dusted it off and deployed it to bring justice to victims of human rights atrocities abroad. In the only Supreme Court pronouncement on the scope of the right to sue under the ATS, the court in 2004 found that ATS could be used to redress violations of a small number of well-established customary international norms. The court was not clear about whether the well-established customary norms would determine who was liable, or merely the actions for which they could be sued. The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals determined in 2010 that there is no customary international norm of corporate liability and decided in favor of Shell. Three other courts of appeals have found that there is corporate liability under the ATS, not just for pirates but for corporations as well.

In brief, the looming question for the court today is whether, after Citizens United, corporations enjoy not only free speech rights but also the right to say "I'm immune from suit."

Paul Hoffman represents the 12 Nigerian plaintiffs and opens by pointing out that in Shell's view of the case, "even if these corporations had jointly operated torture centers with the military dictatorship in Nigeria to detain, torture, and kill all opponents of Shell's operations in Ogoni, the victims would have no claim."

Justice Anthony Kennedy stops him, pointing out that the briefs say that "international law does not recognize corporate responsibility for the alleged offenses here." Hoffman replies that the international law norms at issue in this case are "torture, prolonged arbitrary detention, extrajudicial executions," which are "defined by actions" and not by whether the "perpetrator is a human being or a corporation
Justice Samuel Alito notes that "there's no particular connection between the events here and the United States." He wonders "whether there's any other country in the world where these plaintiffs could have brought these claims against the Respondents." Chief Justice John Roberts doubles down: "If there is no other country where this suit could have been brought ... isn't it a legitimate concern that allowing the suit itself contravenes international law?"

Alito adds that the first sentence in the petitioners' brief reads, "This case was filed by 12 Nigerian Plaintiffs who alleged that Respondents aided and abetted the human rights violations committed against them by the Abacha dictatorship in Nigeria between 1992 and 1995." Alito looks up, puzzled. "What business does a case like that have in the courts of the United States?" He goes on, "The Alien Tort Statute was enacted to prevent international tension, and this kind of a lawsuit only creates international tension

Hoffman replies that that ATS was also passed "as an expression of the nation's commitment to international law." He notes that there are other legal doctrines that can be used to determine whether federal courts are the wrong forum to decide a case.

Edwin Kneedler represents the U.S. Justice Department, which sides with the Nigerian plaintiffs in this case. He spends most of his time close reading an ambiguous footnote in that 2004 case, which starts to look like one of those judicial Rorschach tests onto which everyone in the court maps their own personal preferences.

The chief justice wants to focus on the actor, not the actions, as he explains: "Under international law, it is critically pertinent who's undertaking the conduct that is alleged to violate international norms. If an individual private group seizes a ship, it's piracy. If the Navy does it, it's not."

Kennedy warns Kneedler of the foreign policy implications of corporate tort liability:  "Under your view, the U.S. corporation could be sued in any country in the world, and that would have no international consequences. We don't look to the international consequences at all

:-\Diversity is good for Shell when it suits them to get :- Cheap foreign labour. But behind the scenes they bully Africans out of their land !

A chief of police in Britain chose to recognize "international pronouns day" by putting out a video warning people that misgendering transgender people was a form of "abuse."

https://summit.news/2019/10/16/british-chief-of-police-warns-misgendering-people-is-a-form-of-abuse/

"Today is international pronouns day," said Detective Chief Constable Julie Cooke in a video posted to Twitter. "Which is a day particularly important to people who identify as transgender or gender nonconforming."

"Being misgendered can have a huge impact on somebody and their personal well being, it also can be used as a form of abuse for somebody and that just isn't right," she added

"Today is about raising awareness, getting people to have conversations, and understanding why it is so important to understand the pronouns that somebody wishes to be used for them," concluded Cooke.

The warning is no idle threat. Numerous people in the United Kingdom have been arrested for alleged "transphobia."

Earlier this year, a 38-year-old woman was arrested in front of her own children and locked up for 7 hours after referring to a transgender woman as a man online.

Morticia Addams (right) with Cousin Non-Binary Indeterminable Transgender (left)

A man was also interrogated for 30 minutes by police for liking a limerick on Twitter (he didn't even write it) that made fun of transgender people.

A Christian doctor in the UK was also fired from his government job earlier this summer after he refused to refer to a 6 foot bearded man as "Madam."

But who cares? It's not as if the United Kingdom is currently experiencing record violent crime rates, with violent crime in England and Wales having risen by 19% in a year, is it?

No, it's much more important to go after Twitter users who hurt someone's feelings by referring to them as their biological gender

AUSTRALIA MIGHT NOT have been as isolated for the 40,000 years prior to European colonisation as once thought, according to a new study which has found evidence of substantial gene flow between Indian populations and Australia about 4000 years ago.

https://www.australiangeographic.com.au/news/2013/01/aboriginal-genes-suggest-indian-migration

The research also suggests the dingo [known as the Indian Wolf in Eurasia] might have arrived on Australian shores about that time – along with tool technology and food processing – though other experts are sceptical.

"This is very exciting work and may well resolve a major scientific conundrum." says Associate Professor Darren Curnoe at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, who adds that scientists have speculated about this possible ancient connection for 200 years.

Aboriginal Cultural Dance: White Devil Dance

Australian aboriginals had early contact

The study, published today in the journal PNAS, says it was commonly assumed that Australia remained largely isolated following initial colonisation some 40,000 years ago, though the genetic history of Aboriginal people has not been explored in detail.

Dr Irina Pugach and Dr Mark Stoneking, of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Germany, joined colleagues in analysing large-scale genotyping data from Aboriginal Australians, New Guineans, Island Southeast Asians and Indians that suggest a new possibility.

The authors found a common origin for populations in Australia, New Guinea and the Mamanwa (a Negrito group from the Philippines) and estimated these groups split from each other about 36,000 years ago.

The researchers say this supports the view that these groups represent the descendants of an ancient southwards migration out of Africa. They also found a substantial gene flow from India to Australia 141 generations ago, or 4230 years ago, assuming a generation span of 30 years.

Gene flow from India to Australia

"This is also approximately when changes in tool technology, food processing, and the dingo appear in the Australian archaeological record, suggesting that these may be related to the migration from India," the authors write, though they add that the Indian genes might not have come directly from India.

These genes could not have arrived during the initial migration to Australia 40,000 years ago because they are absent from the New Guinean and Mamanwa genomes. Also, they are too uniformly spread across northern Aboriginal genomes to have come from European colonists.

Associate Professor Joe Dortch of the University of Western Australia in Perth says the findings are significant, and questions whether there was some kind of migration or simply occasional contact. "It's not possible to say how the connection to India arose," he told Australian Geographic.

"But expansion of trading or exploration activity by a culture or group of cultures called the Austronesians may be a factor... [as] the ancestors of northern Australians, like those who were involved in the study, had more contact with Asian peoples than other Australians."

Associate Professor Jeremy Austin from the University of Adelaide says that the study highlights the fine-scale knowledge that can be obtained from genome data, but adds that the results need to be interpreted carefully.

"The authors do not estimate the number of migrants involved that could have carried this genetic signature from India, "he says. "In theory, this could have been a very small number of people. Thus, any lay-interpretation of the results that boatloads of Indian fishermen arrived on the coast of Australia, bringing new technologies, may not be accurate."

Could dingoes have arrived with Indian migration?

Jeremy is sceptical about the claims related to the arrival of dingoes in Australia.

"Genetic data for dingoes suggests they came from Island Southeast Asia, not India. So linking the human genetic evidence to the idea that they also imported a range of new technologies and dingoes is something that needs further investigation," he says.

"The important result of this paper is that it supports previous ideas about trade and movement of people between Australia and Asia over a long period of time."

The Australian samples came from a broad area of the Northern Territory, and as a result may not be representative of the indigenous populations across the rest of the continent

https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2013-01-15/research-shows-ancient-indian-migration-to-australia/4466382?pfmredir=sm

A new study of Indigenous Australian DNA suggests there was some form of migration from India to Australia about 4,000 years ago.

Aboriginal people first inhabited Australia about 40,000 years ago and researchers had previously thought them to be isolated from the rest of the world for thousands of years.

A German study may change that assumption after it analysed about 1 million genetic markers in Indigenous Australians and compared the patterns of variation to other populations.

Doctor Mark Stoneking, from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, and a team of researchers found the first signs of Indian influence coincided with a time of significant developments to the way Aboriginal communities lived.

Dr Stoneking says there are two explanations for the Indian DNA link.

"It could have been by people actually moving, physically travelling from India directly to Australia, or their genetic material could have moved in terms of contact between India and neighbouring populations who then had contact with other neighbour populations and eventually, there would have been contact with Australia," he told PM

The study shows the earliest Indian link occurred about 4,000 years ago during a time when dingoes first appeared in the fossil record and Aboriginal communities changed the way they sourced and prepared food.

"The date that we get for when this gene flow from India occurs - roughly around 4,000 years ago - does coincide remarkably well with the first appearance of microliths - the small stone tool technology - in the archaeological record for Australia and with the first appearance of the dingo," Dr Stoneking said.

"It does at least raise the suggestion that all of these events might all be connected."

Suggestive timing

Professor Alan Cooper, from the University of Adelaide's Centre for Ancient DNA, says the Indian influence may well have played a role in the development of the Aboriginal culture.

Indian Cultural Dance: Kill Whitey

He says it is impossible to ignore the link with the discovery of the dingo.

"The timing of all those things in the archaeological record, about 4,000 to 5,000 years ago, happens to match the timing estimated for this genetic influx from India," he said.

"The timing is similar enough that it's now got us wondering whether the two are connected. Certainly the timing is pretty suggestive."

Professor Cooper also points to another development that happened around the time of this Indian connection - a big expansion of one of the Aboriginal language groups.

"This other language seems to have taken over Australia relatively recently - perhaps 5,000 years ago," he said.

"And how it did it, how it replaced the other ancient languages, we don't know.

"So suddenly, 4,000 to 5,000 years ago is starting to become a fairly tumultuous time in Australian history."

Dr Stoneking says it has taken a while for the Indian influence to be discovered because Indigenous Australians have been hesitant to participate in these kinds of genetic studies.

"Based on their previous treatment at the hands of Europeans, the Australian groups have been rather suspicious of what the purpose of these studies are and what they might show," he said.

Professor Cooper agrees and says there is still so much more to learn about the history of Indigenous Australians.

"We know so little about Australian human legacy, and yet it's perhaps one of the longest continuous occupations of any human cultural group in the world," he said.

"It's one of the most rich and challenging stories in human history, and we know almost nothing about it, as this study has shown."

The study will be published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7431415/Ohio-mom-43-tried-smuggle-newborn-Philippines-paraded-national-TV.html

A Utah woman who allegedly purchased a newborn from a teen mom in the Philippines and later tried to smuggle him out of the country in her hand luggage faces life in prison after being charged with human trafficking and child abuse

Jennifer Erin Talbot, 42, is said to have arranged to adopt the six-day-old baby from the young mother who she first met online before attempting to fly home with the boy to the US on Wednesday.

Talbot, from Sandy, who is married with five children, was able to pass through the airport's immigration counter without raising suspicions, however she was later intercepted at the gate by Delta Airlines personnel.

Clad in an orange detainee shirt and handcuffs Thursday, Talbot was paraded on national television in front of reporters as officials from the National Bureau of investigation announced her human trafficking charges.

In addition, officials said she will also be tried for child abuse and kidnapping with serious illegal detention

Talbot kept her head low and appeared at times to be on the verge of tears throughout the parade and subsequent press conference.

She only broke her silence to say she was from Ohio, despite investigators listing her current home as an address in Utah.

The investigation bureau said Talbot presented an affidavit at the airport, allegedly from the baby's mother, Maricris Cempron Dulap, giving consent for the baby to travel to the US, but it had not been signed by Dulap.

Officials said no government travel approval had been issued for the baby, prompting them to file human trafficking charges against Talbot.

She also allegedly told officials she was the boy's aunt, but failed to provide any documents to substantiate the claim

Investigators are yet to determine whether any money exchanged hands between Talbot and Dulap, but say they're continuing to investigate the alleged deal.

US Embassy officials have been notified of her arrest, and she faces life in prison and and a fine somewhere between $38,500 to $96,200 if found guilty.

'She just wanted to give the baby a name and church blessing,' NBI-International Airport Investigation Unit (NBI-IAIU) chief Manuel Dimaano told reporters on Thursday.

Talbot, who was raised in Ohio, has no previous criminal history in the US. She told officers she is married with 'five special children', though its unclear if they're all biological or not.

Dulap and the baby's father, believed to be based in Davao City, have also been charged with child abuse but remain at large

Talbot has been married three times and currently lives with her husband Lawrence, 58, in Sandy, Utah.

She has previously lived in Virginia, Florida and Ohio, and currently works at the ZCMI Center Mall in Salt Lake County.

She had two children with her first husband, Craig Holder, one of which became center to a paternity suit in 2008.

Her eldest son, Spencer Holder, is currently serving as a US Navy sailor.

Talbot later married attorney David Pace, who represented her, but they split the same year the suit was filed.

The University of Utah alum was ready to board a Delta Air Lines flight to the United States with the baby at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Wednesday when she was halted and subjected to a bag search, officials said.

After discovering the baby in her 'over-sized belt bag', airline staff called immigration personnel, who arrested Talbot at the airport.

Talbot was later turned over to the National Bureau of Investigation and the baby was given to government welfare personnel

A group of Maori people are calling for valuable land in Sydney's west to be handed over to them, claiming they were gifted the area by Aboriginal people more than 200 years ago

The Rangihou people say their king was handed the land in Parramatta by leaders of the Burramattagal Clan back in 1811 after they were first invited over from New Zealand.

The Rangihou people have now brought Parramatta City Council to the Federal Court 'with an application to wind up (the council) and reclaim the land,' a statement from the group said on Wednesday.

The 45-hectare parcel of land lies in an eastern section of central Parramatta.

In 'Cold Case: Hammarskjold,' Brugger meets Alexander Jones, a former member of a clandestine paramilitary organization with alleged ties to South Africa's apartheid government.

Jones tells the filmmaker that the group undertook nefarious HIV research in the 1980s and 1990s as part of a white supremacist plot to devastate black communities with the virus.

'We were at war,' Jones tells Brugger in the film. 'Black people in South Africa were the enemy.'

There is no evidence of the plot to spread HIV being successfully put into action.

But Brugger and his team tracked down medical clinics run by the group's now-dead leader Keith Maxwell in South Africa.

Maxwell claimed to be seeking a cure for HIV but had no medical training, and spoke openly of his fascination with biological weapons, according to the filmmakers

They met with a witness who says he saw Maxwell personally injecting black patients with supposed vaccines.

'What easier way to get a guinea pig than (when) you live in an apartheid system?' Jones says in the film.

'Black people have got no rights, they need medical treatment. There's a white "philanthropist" coming in and saying, "You know, I'll open up these clinics and I'll treat you."

'And meantime (he was) actually the wolf in sheep's clothing.'

Brugger said that 'strategy papers' belonging to Maxwell fit 'hand in glove' with Jones's claims about the plot

'What Maxwell was writing about, planning for... in itself constitutes a crime,' Brugger said.

The allegations were denounced as irresponsible and medically dubious by some critics after the film's January premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, where Brugger won a top directing prize for the documentary.

Touring the global festival circuit since, Brugger has defended his work ahead of its release by Magnolia Pictures from August 16 in a few dozen US theaters and online platforms including Amazon and iTunes.

In the film, he initially set out to investigate theories that UN Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjold's plane was deliberately brought down in a crash that killed 16 people

Documents found in South African government archives containing details of plans to detonate a bomb on Hammarskjold's aircraft bear the name of Maxwell's group -- the shadowy South African Institute for Maritime Research (SAIMR

This prompted Brugger and his team to examine the group more closely.

They tracked down Jones, who claimed SAIMR had brought down the plane.

Brugger has since arranged a meeting between Jones and UN investigators compiling an inquiry report into the crash, a UN spokesman confirmed.

'I do know that what (Jones) says is outrageous and sensational,' Brugger said. 'So far, what he has told us, what we were capable of corroborating, has checked out.'

But there are major issues with Brugger's account.

Many doubt SAIMR even existed on any substantial scale outside the warped mind of its 'leader' Maxwell, a noted fantasist who dressed like an 18th-century British naval admiral.

A New York Times report suggested Jones initially denied any HIV research project existed, and only professed knowledge of it on camera after being fed information by filmmakers.

Brugger admitted that there 'could have been examples of cross-contamination' because his team spent so much time with Jones.

'But I know for sure that the essential part of what he tells us is not something we fed him,' Brugger said, adding that it is typical for whistleblowers to 'open up and tell you more as time progresses.'

And then there is the issue of whether it would have even been possible to deliberately spread HIV.

Medical experts say the technology was beyond the scope of all but a handful of government laboratories at the time.

Conspiracy theories about Western plots to weaponize AIDS in Africa were encouraged by the Soviet Union during the Cold War, and can cause serious harm by turning people off medical treatment.

South Africa has extremely high HIV infection rates and a history of dangerous misinformation about its spread.

Brugger said he 'thought hard and long' about the damage the vaccine claims could do, but insisted that 'what Alexander Jones tells us needs to be published

'If the response to this is that we are invigorating or revitalizing conspiracy theories, I think that is in some sense absurd,' he said

British neo-Nazis are using National Trust sites to conduct sinister rituals, it emerged this weekend

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7345425/How-neo-Nazi-groups-using-National-Trust-sites-hold-sinister-night-time-ceremonies.html

A far-Right group that promises followers reward in the afterlife if they die in the 'struggle for freedom' has vowed to 'take back' ancient locations.

Avebury, England: RACISTS have White skin - Tourists are Chinks & Browns

The National Trust said it was aware such groups had used Avebury, a World Heritage site in Wiltshire with prehistoric stone circles, to carry out rituals. It has reported this to police and said it would step up security at Wayland's Smithy in Oxfordshire, a Neolithic burial chamber it manages on behalf of English Heritage, after swastikas were carved into trees.

It is believed a group calling itself Woden's Folk has carried out masked torchlit rituals at both Avebury and Wayland's Smithy and has boasted of launching an 'English resistance' at the two sites. One of the rituals was also attended by members of the violent neo-Nazi group Combat 18, and the now banned organisation, National Action.

Woden's Folk calls itself Odinist, the same ancient Norse religion worshipped by Anders Breivik, who slaughtered 77 people in Norway in 2011, and Brenton Tarrant, who shot dead 51 in the Christchurch massacre in New Zealand earlier this year

A video of Woden's Folk performing a ritual at Wayland's Smithy was recently removed from YouTube.

The group's founder, who calls himself Wulf Ingessunu, has written blogs filled with hate-filled racist ideology and called for 'Aryan laws' to be introduced to Britain.

The National Trust said Wayland's Smithy and the Avebury stones were open countryside sites and it was hard to monitor access and activity 24 hours a day. It called on staff and local people to be vigilant

Christian leaders including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding reverend warn against the rise of 'Christian nationalism' saying that it provides a cover for white supremacy

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7298505/Christian-leaders-warn-against-rise-Christian-nationalism.html?ns_mchannel=rss&ico=taboola_feed

A group of Christians have hit out against the rise of 'Christian nationalism' which they say is being used as a cover for white supremacy

In a statement on Monday, 17 leaders of churches and organizations around the country joined forces to form Christians Against Christian Nationalism.

They released a statement on a newly formed website denouncing white supremacy and distancing themselves from it.

'Christian nationalism seeks to merge Christian and American identities, distorting both the Christian faith and America's constitutional democracy.

Christian nationalism demands Christianity be privileged by the State and implies that to be a good American, one must be Christian

'It often overlaps with and provides cover for white supremacy and racial subjugation.

'We reject this damaging political ideology and invite our Christian brothers and sisters to join us in opposing this threat to our faith and to our nation,' the statement read.

The post called on other Christians to join their cause and fight the rise of Christian nationalism, saying: 'Whether we worship at a church, mosque, synagogue, or temple, America has no second-class faiths

'All are equal under the U.S. Constitution.

'As Christians, we must speak in one voice condemning Christian nationalism as a distortion of the gospel of Jesus and a threat to American democracy.'

In recent years, there has been a spike in the number of white supremacist rallies across the country.

At many, marchers carry crosses or religious paraphernalia.

The cross is also a favorite symbol of the Ku Klux Klan.

Among those who joined the group was Rev. Michael B. Curry, the Reverend who presided over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in May last year.

Doctors were left baffled after removing more of £53k worth of jewellery and coins from the stomach of an Indian woman
Runi Khatun, 26, was 'weak and emaciated' when she was rushed to hospital on July 16 in West Bengal state after she began throwing up after every meal.

During surgery, doctors removed 69 chains, 80 earrings, 46 coins, eight lockets, 11 nose rings, four keys, five anklets and one watch dial from her abdomen

The woman's mother said she noticed ornaments had started disappearing from their home but she had no idea that her daughter was swallowing them.

She said her daughter got the coins from her brother's shop and added that when she would question her about the missing objects she would cry

Doctors said while the objects were mostly made of copper and brass, there were also some expensive gold jewellery found inside her stomach.

Dr. Siddhartha Biswas, head of the surgery department at the Rampurhat Government Medical College and Hospital, said the patient was 'emancipated' and could not eat food.

He said: 'The patient looked weak and emaciated at the time when she was admitted to the hospital,' he said.

'Her albumin and haemoglobin count were so low that we could not perform an operation soon.

'Her condition was so critical that she required at least five bottles of blood. She could not even intake food physically so we had to administer Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) to artificially inject food through her mouth.'

The patient was slowly stabilised and within a week's time the doctors decided to operate on her
'If we had operated on her earlier, she wouldn't have survived,' stated Dr. Biswas.

The operation lasted for nearly an hour and fifteen minutes and the doctors successfully removed the large chunk of metals and jewellery from her stomach

Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, and Kam Mcleod, 19, are on the run from police

*They are wanted for the murders of Lucas Fowler, Chynna Deese and Len Dyck

Dyck was identified on Wednesday, a week after his body was found

*He was a university lecturer, a father and husband, his grieving family said

*All three were found dead in British Columbia last week on separate days

*Now, Bryer and Kam are hiding in a remote part of Manitoba, more than 1,000 miles from where the killings happened

*They have ditched their most recent car and set it on fire near a lake

*Bryer's father Alan says he thinks the pair will now most likely be shot by police

*He said his son had grown up with 'YouTube and video games' as his influences

*Neighbors told DailyMail.com he had a Nazi obsession and behaved strangely

*Cops are honing on the pair and have set up checkpoint across Manitoba

The father of one of the teenage murder suspects accused of killing an Australian backpacker, his American girlfriend and a Canadian university lecturer said on Wednesday that he expects his son will die in a 'blaze of glory' in a shootout with police

Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, and Kam Mcleod, 19, have been on the run from police now for several days after being named as suspects in the deaths of Lucas Fowler, Chynna Deese and a previously unidentified older man who was named on Wednesday as 64-year-old Leonard Dyck.

Dyck's body was found near the teenage boys' burned out car on July 18 in British Columbia. It has taken days for him to be identified, but his family say they are devastated by his death.

On Wednesday, police confirmed that they had found Bryer and Kam's second car - a Toyota RAV4 - torched in a remote area of Manitoba, more than 1,000 miles from where they'd been spotted earlier in the week and a considerable distance from where the murders took place.

Now, checkpoints are in place in the remote area and the Royal Canadian Mountain Police are on high alert across the country to find the pair.

Alan Schmegelsky, Bryer's father, told The Canadian Press he believes the pair will be dead by tomorrow, if they're not already

Earlier, Lisa Lucas, a neighbor of Schmegelsky's grandmother in their hometown of Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, said her son used to play with the suspected murderer when the two boys were in junior high together.

But Schmegelsky lost friends when he started making them 'feel uncomfortable', after showing them pictures of him wearing a Nazi armband and telling them how he imagined playing out shooter games in reality, Lucas said.

Lucas said: 'After a while he started making people feel uncomfortable, just with the comments that he would make and how much he was into video games, a little bit more on the violent side of the video games. Bryer seemed to take it very seriously,' said the mother-of-four, who is friends with the Schmegelsky family.

So the suspects played video games and dressed up with Swastika regalia, like perhaps a re-enactment enthusiast would? The dead people are all white! Must have really been some fight those two lads got in for this "Nazi pair"  to go pull the trigger on them?

A 500-year-old ship in "pristine" condition that dates back to the time of Leonardo da Vinci and Christopher Columbus has been found in the Baltic Sea

https://www.news.com.au/travel/world-travel/europe/mystery-pristine-500-year-old-ship-found-on-seabed/news-story/9a0d6e9fc5f5913101a010a6393f84eb

https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/travel/world/europe/mystery-pristine-500-year-old-ship-found-on-seabed/news-story/9a0d6e9fc5f5913101a010a6393f84eb

The astonishingly well-preserved ship is so intact even after five centuries at the bottom of the sea, it looks "almost like it sank yesterday".

Thanks to the cold, brackish waters of the Baltic, the wooden ship has retained its hull structure, all of its masts and its swivel guns are still in place on the deck

Archaeologists have estimated the ship dating from between the late 15th and early 16th centuries and described it as a "rare and astonishing" find, Southampton University reported.

This means it would predate English monarch King Henry VIII's Mary Rose, which sailed in the English Tudor navy in wars against France and Scotland between 1510 and 1545

Acknowledged as a rare find, the ship also predates larger and more powerful vessels sunk during the Northern Seven Years' War between Sweden and Scandinavia in 1563 to 1570.

An international team of scientists, including archaeologists from the University of Southampton, revealed the remains of the Baltic shipwreck using state-of-the-art underwater robotics

Although first detected by sonar in 2009, it was not until survey specialists MMT led an expedition was the wreck identified as having great archaeological and historical significance

Early modern period (late 15th — early 16th century) maritime archaeologist Dr Rodrigo Pacheco-Ruiz carried out further examinations of the intact and astonishingly preserved wreck.

Collaborating with Southampton University's Maritime Archaeology Centre Productions and the Maritime Archaeology Research Institute of Södertörn University (MARIS), he marvelled at the wreck's condition.

It's almost like it sank yesterday — masts in place and hull intact," he said.

"Still on the main deck is an incredibly rare find — the tender boat, used to ferry crew to and from the ship, leaning against the main mast.

"It's a truly astonishing sight.".

From the archaeological survey, the ship could date from earlier than the other notable wrecks, warship Mars, which sank in the First Battle of Öland in 1564, and the Swedish warship Vasa (in 1628

But unlike the scattered remains of the Mars, which exploded in battle, this wreck lies on the seabed with her hull preserved from the keel to the top deck and even some of the standing rigging still in place.

A photogrammetric model of the wreck made by Deep Sea Productions and MMT shows a clearly visible bowsprit (the spar extending from the prow) and a decorated transom stern.

Rarely seen on wrecks, are the wooden capstan (used to haul the ropes) and bilge pump.

MMT and Southampton University were also partners in the recent discovery and archaeological survey of more than 65 perfectly preserved shipwrecks in the Black Sea.

Some of the wrecks found at depths of more than 2000m date to Ottoman, Byzantine Roman and Greek periods in the early centuries of the common era.

On the Baltic Sea survey, MMT took Southampton University maritime archaeology students and Stockholm Royal Institute of Technology subsea robotic Artificial Intelligence students.

Aboard the Stril Explorer, the students trained in deep sea archaeological methods and techniques

The shameful truth: America only put a man on the moon with the help of Nazi monsters - not that anyone will admit it amid all the hype about the 50-year anniversary

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7268437/The-shameful-truth-America-man-moon-help-Nazis-monsters.html

Watching the Moon landing 50 years ago from his comfortable Paris home, Yves Beon could barely contain himself at the spectacle unfolding on TV

Dozens of white-shirted scientists and engineers at the Apollo Mission Control Center in Houston, Texas, were on their feet, many waving flags, cheering at a triumph that was enhancing American prestige and unleashing an ocean of apple-pie patriotism.

Yet Beon, a hero of the French Resistance, was spitting venom at the screen that night and, had he been alive to see last week's documentaries repeating the footage of Neil Armstrong's 'giant leap for mankind', his reaction would have been incandescent.

Amid the jubilation half a century ago, no one bothered to point out that America's scientists had been given a huge helping hand. Or that the Moon landing was, in fact, the brainchild of German scientists led by Wernher von Braun, Kurt Debus and Arthur Rudolph. Or that all three were Nazi war criminals, guilty of mass murder

The 1969 footage of the three German scientists embracing each other in the centre of the Houston control room never reached the global television audience – and neither was it broadcast amid last week's 50th anniversary celebrations.

The fact that more than 130 German scientists were employed on the design and production of the Apollo 11 Moon landing was conveniently ignored at the time of the mission, and no wonder. These men were veterans of the infamous programme to build V2 rockets, the secret weapons that Hitler believed would obliterate London and save Germany from defeat in the Second World War.

'Everyone forgot the hell those Nazis created to build their rocket,' Beon recalled when we met in 1986. 'They were b******s with brains. The world forgot that 20,000 innocent men were murdered by those Germans

Today, the amnesia continues and it seems wilful. Why, 50 years on, has the BBC refused to re-show The Paperclip Conspiracy, a TV documentary I produced in 1987, for example? It exposed the shocking crimes committed by von Braun's team and the subsequent conspiracy to conceal the atrocities.

AMID the sentimental nostalgia of the past few days, the Corporation has ignored a fundamental question: what price conscience and morality for that 'giant leap for mankind'?

The world only knows about the true history of the Apollo programme because of people such as Beon, one of the few slave labourers to emerge in 1945 from the underground factory where Hitler's engineers built the V2s. Himmler's SS forced an estimated 60,000 Europeans on to the production line in Nordhausen at the foot of the Harz mountains in central Germany. Survivors were rare

Beon has particular memories of Arthur Rudolph, the 37-year-old director of production in Nordhausen who, just 17 years later, was the director of Apollo production in America.

As Beon recalled, Rudolph's management technique in Nazi Germany was distinctive. 'If he suspected anyone of not working, he hanged them above the production line and left the body dangling above us for a few days, as a warning. Every week, dozens were killed that way,' he said.

'Sometimes an electric crane lifted 12 prisoners at a time, hands behind their backs with a piece of wood in their mouths to prevent them crying out. Every day over 100 people died from exhaustion, starvation or disease

Beon recalled how von Braun, an SS major, and other scientists 'just passed by us without looking at the bodies, without any sign of emotion'.

Von Braun's team were committed Nazis, including Rudolph who, when I interviewed him in 1987, told me: 'Hitler's first six years were marvellous. They were the best years in Germany. Everybody was happy.'

The fact that Beon survived Nordhausen was a miracle. With the Americans approaching, vengeful SS guards went on a murderous rampage against the labourers but Beon managed to hide.

Von Braun and his team, meanwhile, had already left, calculating – correctly – that they could wait in the Bavarian countryside, then offer their expertise to the Americans. 'We were interested in continuing our work,' he said later. He had no intention of 'being squeezed like a lemon and then discarded'.

The first V2 rocket hit London in September 1944. By the end of the war, 3,172 rockets had been successfully launched, killing thousands of civilians and dispelling any doubts that the Germans had invented an outstanding weapon of the future – years ahead of the Allies. In 1945, US soldiers were dispatched across Germany to seize completed V2s and the blueprints. Among them was 28-year-old Major Robert Staver, a mechanical engineer, who followed the US 1st Army into the Nordhausen factory on April 11, 1945.

'The Germans' cups were still warm when we arrived,' he recalled when we met in California in 1986. He admitted that, bewitched by the sight of the rockets and such brilliant mechanical innovation, he had ignored the hundreds of corpses scattered across the area

About 100 rockets were shipped to White Sands in New Mexico, but to understand them and develop rockets of their own, the Americans needed von Braun's team, too. And that meant reaching them before the Russians. 'These were geniuses 25 years ahead of us,' gushed Staver. 'My orders were to get the top rocket team in history. I decided to treat the Germans as normal, friendly human beings. Otherwise we wouldn't get their co-operation

Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt issued solemn wartime pledges to prosecute all Nazi war criminals, promises that Staver and his bosses decided to ignore.

The secret journey of the rocket scientists from Nordhausen to America's Apollo space programme involved an astonishing conspiracy between US army officers and a handful of complicit Washington bureaucrats. In September 1945, following rapid negotiations with Staver and other American officers, von Braun and a small group of his senior aides were flown to El Paso, Texas.

American law explicitly ruled out permanent residence for incriminated Nazis, so they were contracted to stay in America 'temporarily' for a few months while they were debriefed. The scheme was known as Operation Paperclip. Later, a further 118 members of his team were flown from Germany. While Yves Beon and other victims of the Nazis struggled to keep body and soul together in wartorn Europe, von Braun lived well on $750 a month plus unlimited free food, comfortable accommodation and generous healthcare.

It wasn't only engineering expertise that the Americans lacked – they wanted medical information, too. In a parallel operation, American air force officers led by Colonel Harry Armstrong negotiated a deal with Dr Hubertus Strughold, the leader of Germany's aviation doctors.

Strughold and other specialists had developed techniques to protect Luftwaffe pilots flying at high altitudes. German designs for pressurised cockpits, G-suits and oxygen masks to avoid blackouts were far more advanced than anything available in America or Britain – but that was not surprising, since the German research had been conducted by testing human 'guinea pigs' at the Dachau concentration camp.

Inmates had been locked into pressurised chambers by doctors to test the limits of their endurance. The filmed experiments recorded the inmates' excruciating deaths

In early 1946, Armstrong decided to ignore the doctors' crimes. For him, as for Staver, morality was not an issue. The principles of justice for which millions had died during the war were ignored. 'They were scientists, after all,' as Armstrong told another, similarly complacent officer. So Strughold and 37 other German specialists were flown to Wright Field, a US air force base in Ohio.

Armstrong had twin motives: to develop America's aviation medicine, but also to protect the Germans from prosecution as war criminals in American military courts in Nuremberg. With remarkable foresight, Armstrong ordered the medics to focus on how man could survive in space and, in 1969, Strughold was acclaimed among the heroes of Armstrong's walk on the Moon. No one asked questions about his wartime crimes.

This state of affairs was in part testimony to the skill of Colonel Walter Rozamus, the US army officer in charge of Operation Paperclip at the Pentagon and a man determined to overcome the American laws that explicitly forbade Nazis from staying in the US. By 1946, the German scientists wanted permanent contracts and wished to be reunited with their families. Yet security files compiled by US army investigators in Germany made their Nazi affiliations all too clear.

Herbert Axster, von Braun's assistant, was described as 'a notorious supporter and profiteer of the Nazi regime'. Kurt Debus, Apollo's second-in-command, had been a member of the Brown Shirts and the SS and was guilty of denouncing an innocent German to the Gestapo to remove a rival scientist.

Von Braun was described as 'an ardent Nazi' and a 'potential security threat'. Investigators had discovered that, in 1931, Rudolph had marched through Berlin in a brown Stormtrooper uniform holding a flaming torch and singing the Nazi anthems of racial hatred. He was classified as '100 per cent Nazi, dangerous type' and recommended for imprisonment. By now, Rudolph and 134 rocket experts were living in New Mexico and Rozamus was determined to keep them there.

His next obstacle was Samuel Klaus, an officer in the visa section of the State Department, the equivalent of Britain's Home Office. Klaus, a Jewish lawyer, had toured Europe in 1945 and was appalled by the atrocities. He understood better than most the terrible crimes committed by German scientists.

Outraged by the Pentagon's attempt to ignore the truth, Klaus refused to allow von Braun's team to become American citizens. None of them, he said, was so vital that their expertise could not be extracted within six months. After that, they must be returned to Germany. In the Pentagon, Rozamus and his superiors fumed. 'Get that little Jew off the committee,' ordered Major Simpson of the Pentagon's intelligence section during a conversation in Washington with Klaus's superior.

'What the Germans did during the war was irrelevant,' recalled another army officer. 'We had to keep the scientists out of the Russians' hands

So, with the support of senior politicians, Klaus was removed from the visa section.

The next step was to sanitise the security records. Paperclips were attached to all the files requiring attention and American officers in Germany were told to 'rewrite' reports, allowing the Pentagon and State Department to form 'a different interpretation'. Overnight, Herbert Axster, von Braun's assistant, was given 'a clear record'. Rudolph was declared to be 'not an ardent Nazi'. Von Braun's revised report said his records had been lost in the Soviet zone of Germany and that 'no derogatory information' was available.

The path to permanent residence was now clear and, for the most important of the Nazi scientists, US citizenship soon followed. Protecting Nazi mass murderers was by now a favoured – if secret – policy in Washington. In 1949, the CIA invented the 'Ratline' to help their German agents and informants to escape Europe to South America. Among the first to flee was Klaus Barbie, the Gestapo chief known as the Butcher of Lyons.

Not merely rehabilitated but thoroughly respected, in September 1962 von Braun met President Kennedy in Huntsville, Alabama. As the chief director of the American Apollo programme, von Braun had arranged for Kennedy to witness the test firing of a Saturn rocket, the type that would eventually deliver Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to the surface of the Moon.

Charismatic and smiling, von Braun greeted the President as if he were a close friend and, together, the two men watched as the orange flames spurted out of the base and the rocket launched successfully. Turning to Kennedy, von Braun said: 'I will fulfil your promise to put a man on the Moon by the end of this decade. And by God we'll do it.'

Von Braun was simply too important for the Americans to allow his murderous past to interfere. A clutch of war criminals had now become Cold War heroes.

Wernher von Braun would die in 1977 in Virginia without a blemish on his reputation. Arthur Rudolph was less fortunate. In 1984, Eli Rosenbaum, a zealous lawyer in the US Office of Special Investigations, forced Rudolph to renounce his American citizenship and return to Germany. 'I'm really angry,' Rudolph told me before leaving America for ever. 'I helped put the first man – an American – on the Moon and then I was treated like this.' He died in 1996 in Hamburg aged 89. He was never brought to justice for his wartime barbarity.

Today, we know the truth in all its terrible detail. Yet there was no mention of these monstrous crimes during last week's celebrations of the astonishing Moon landing 50 years ago. Why

Gosh "war crimes" sending Gypsies, poofs and Jews into orbit in rockets was arguably doing a public service! I'll bet Mr Trump still thinks about sending illegal beaners into space?!

"Are there troubles in your neighbourhood? Contact the traditional American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. You can sleep tonight knowing the Klan is awake," they read.

They were delivered strategically, shielded from the dew by plastic bags and weighted against the wind with rocks.

Hundreds appeared on lawns and porches one Saturday morning, just weeks before the 2016 election.

For years, white supremacists had lived in the region, a serene farming area of rolling green hills and red barns, known as "God's Country".

Until then, their presence had never raised much alarm among residents.

But with the fliers, their extremist beliefs suddenly reached into homes, and, as news of the propaganda drop went viral online, their presence entered the national consciousness.

Emboldened, the once-underground groups started meeting more frequently and openly.

Billing themselves as "a Terror Machine coming to a town near you", they posted public calls for "all white patriots" to join their cause.

They ran ads in the local newspaper. They conducted weapons training. They made plans

In 2018, six members of a group called the "Aryan Strike Force" were charged with plotting a suicide attack at a local anti-racism protest.

Prosecutors said they intended to strap a bomb to a terminally-ill man and send him into the crowd.

As the media pounced to document the events, "God's Country" earned a new nickname: "a hotbed for white nationalism".

The once-sleepy Potter County shook with a new, negative energy.

Local leaders fought the bad press, an interracial couple fled and a family of neo-Nazis began plastering their hilltop home with signs of their ideology, bringing more and more unwanted attention.

Just off Main Street in the town of Ulysses sits a yard decked out with swastikas, Confederate flags and wood carvings of Norse gods
"I try to display as much patriotism as I can. ... It creates conversation," says Daniel Burnside, the tattooed, bearded man who owns the property.

"If it creates angst, if it creates discomfort in people, maybe they need to explore why that angst and discomfort is there."

Mr Burnside scoffs at the idea of tolerance for others.

"Pity is the worst thing I can have if I want to save my culture for my posterity," he says
As cars pass by on the country road edging his property, Mr Burnside calls himself a "proud racist" and asserts that the United States was "set aside for white Western Europeans".

He claims that the shootings in Christchurch were a hoax, and that the recent attacks on American synagogues should not be prosecuted as hate crimes.

"I think it's motivated by love for the white race," Mr Burnside says.

"It's a double-sided coin. Hate on the view of the people who think something like that shouldn't have happened. And love on the side of people who think something like that needs to happen."

He characterises a shooting that left 11 dead in 2018 as "making a statement in blood
When asked if violence is justifiable, he responds with, "it's been justified for 5,000 years. This nation wasn't created by not being violent".

Mr Burnside is blunt and speaks sometimes in a stream of consciousness that is hard to follow.

He wears his politics quite literally on his sleeves.

He once enlisted in the Navy and wanted to serve, but received a medical discharge after being struck by a car and now works as a chainsaw woodcarver.

He and his wife are raising nine kids and a menagerie of farm animals on the three-building compound.

Up until recently, it was considered the regional headquarters of the National Socialist Movement (NSM).

The Southern Poverty Law Centre, a US non-profit that tracks extreme ideologies, has designated the NSM as "one of the largest and most prominent hate groups in the US ... known for its violent anti-Jewish rhetoric and racist views".

The group once claimed 61 chapters across 35 states, and is named in a lawsuit as allegedly partly responsible for a fatal race rally in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017.

The NSM fell apart in March after an African-American activist hoodwinked the organisation's leader and took over as president.

But Mr Burnside is undeterred, and he still plays a role in propagating its message "to kind of filter through and say, OK these are the main points, this is what's happening and why things are moving in that direction".

His antisemitic views extend to the media, and he hosts his own radio show and posts on social media to spread his extremist message.

Then there are the lawn decorations and the handful of demonstrations and meetings that Mr Burnside has hosted in the area.
Regardless of what laws are put against me to practice, [I'll use] my voice to recruit people to understand what it takes to save a nation," he says.

According to the latest US Census data, 97 per cent of Potter County's 16,600 residents are white.

"But it's my nation. It's not what I can see, it's what I can't see — the next community over," he says, gesturing to the far side of his property where a dog named Adolf barks for attention.

Just before an explosive television interview with Mr Burnside went viral, residents plastered the county with more than 150 signs reading, "Hate has no home here. Love wins!

They worry that the town's reputation will be irreparably damaged, and it could affect the economy.

The region has seen a decline in the manufacturing jobs it once partially depended on and hopes to rebuild wealth through tourism and the presence of telecommuting professionals.

They say the media attention is a greater threat to the area than Mr Burnside's beliefs.

"We keep apprised of what is going on as much as we can. We will deal with something if and when it happens," says Potter County commissioner Paul Heimel.

Due to America's free speech protections, there is little they can do except monitor the situation.

In 2018, a sheriff's deputy was suspended without pay for removing a Nazi flag from Mr Burnside's property.

He returned the flag but was charged with theft and resigned from the police department.

"There are some people here that are genuinely scared," said Mr Hunt.

"I think he thrives on that because that gives him a sense of power and control over something in his life. But most of us, I don't want to say we are scared."

As someone born and raised in Potter County, he knew vaguely of the region's Klan history and the fringe ideologies that existed in the minds of a few neighbours.

Still, with the fliers came a cocktail of confusion, surprise and fear.

You could say the implied violence comes with high stakes for Mr Leschner.

His wife is black.

"My wife was in shock, I was in shock and we — literally, me and my mother — got in the car, and we went around town picking up as many as we could," he recalls.

For years, Mr Leschner's work and interests took him all over the world.

He met his Jamaican wife, who declined to be interviewed for this story out of fear, in New Orleans, and the pair moved back to Potter County to be closer to Mr Leschner's family.

But he started getting comments as he went about his day working at a local restaurant.

"You're not in a big city anymore. You're not in the Cayman Islands anymore. You're back home in Red [conservative-leaning] America. You better watch what you say," he recalls hearing.

Then someone posted a wedding photo of the couple on a Russian social media site, which is popular with white supremacists.

Mr Leschner had the German caption translated, finding it called for their lynching.

When he caught wind of a planned "white unity meeting", he planned a counter rally.

He was pleased to see a few dozen of his neighbours show up in support.

But he says he also saw a few white supremacists drive by, make a gun signal with their fingers and point it directly at his chest.

"It has made us fearful for our life sometimes," he says of the threats.

He and his wife have since moved out of the area.

Mr Leschner now considers himself a political activist.

He receives threats whenever he shares his views on social media or agrees to a television interview, but he says he won't stop anytime soon.

"When you see somebody being racially profiled, you see someone getting picked on because of their faith, their colour of their skin, their nationality — stand up and do something, you know?" he says.

"That's what this country is built on. It was built off people from all over the world and here we all are saying that one colour is better than another now? No, it's not right."

On that day when the fliers arrived, Mr Leschner personally gathered as many as he could find and posted a Facebook video volunteering to collect others.

He says he returned a batch of fliers to the KKK — tied with a pink bow.

'We're in a very precarious position right now'

Experts who study white extremism in the US say the situation in Potter County is not unique.

"I think it's absolutely something to be frightened of," says Kathleen Blee, a professor at the University of Pittsburgh

We're in a very precarious position right now in this country — and I would say in many countries."

Professor Blee says most white supremacists in the US believe they are being trampled or invaded by other groups.

"Some percentage, a small percentage, of them feel the need to act on that in deadly ways," she says.

According to the National Defamation League's Centre on Extremism, 39 of the 50 extremist-related murders committed in America in 2018 were carried out by white supremacists.

That number is up from 2017, when the centre reported white supremacists were responsible for 18 of the 34 crimes.

The Anti-Defamation League reported white supremacists' propaganda efforts increased 182 per cent in 2018, with 1,187 distributions.

And the Southern Poverty Law Centre (SPLC) reported that the number of hate groups operating across the US has increased for a fourth straight year, totalling 1,020.

That's the highest number seen since the SPLC started tracking hate groups in the 1990s.

It's difficult to collect accurate numbers worldwide, but experts say white nationalism is an increasingly omnipresent threat.

"I think it's a mistake to think of the US either in isolation or as the leader in this. This is a global phenomena," Professor Blee says.

She says political rhetoric, by no means limited to the US, is one of the factors contributing to the increase in activity

"The President refers to immigrants as 'invaders' and white supremacists also use the word 'invaders'," she said.

"It's a dangerous position when politicians of any sort are toying with the same kinds of language and references that people are using in a white supremacist world."

The professor says social media has also played a large role, transforming hate groups from underground, word-of-mouth affairs to ubiquitous entities accessible via a Google search.

Online, the groups are becoming harder to supervise and police, she says, and that's further hampered by America's free speech protections.

"Ulysses can put up big neo-Nazi signs and spew all kinds of hatred and it's very difficult for the law to touch them. Because unless they act, it's not a violation of American law," Professor Blee says.

"The question is where would it not be tolerated? The person happens to live there. There are probably people in that county who are sympathetic. But this would be true for many, many parts of the United States."

'Zero pity. Zero tolerance. Zero diversity'

Knowing that the law allows for the beliefs to be sustained, Professor Blee and other researchers think critically about how individuals join or leave white supremacist groups.

Daniel Burnside says he started getting into the ideology around 2013

He's offered varying explanations for what hooked him in, creating the sense that it happened so fast he didn't have time to attach a narrative to it.

He told one reporter that it all started after his second child was diagnosed with autism.

He told another that a book by Henry Ford led him down a biblio-rabbit hole, culminating in a sort of philosophical awakening.

A documentary from Vice News offered a different catalyst: his messy divorce from a half-Dutch, half-Indian woman hooked on heroin.

Professor Blee says there are few shared characteristics between those who find themselves attracted to the ideology.

She's observed that most white supremacists are personally recruited by other white nationalists.

"For example, they have a child who has a physical handicap, so they're brought up in the face of neo-Nazi ideas about handicapped persons and they're forced to make a choice."

Mr Burnside says he's made that exact choice already once in his life when he and his wife chose not to proceed with a pregnancy due to a problem with the baby.

"Every day we get up, we make decisions. I made a decision not to bring a sick child into the world, and I'm willing to stand by that decision until I die. Nobody will ever, ever convince me otherwise," he says with conviction.

From his loudly adorned compound on the outskirts of town, he pledges that he'd disown any of his nine children who came out as gay or entered a mixed race relationship — any action that didn't align with his beliefs.

The message is clear: he's not willing to let Potter County return to its quiet anonymity any time soon.

"I don't care. You can't have pity to be a national socialist. Zero pity. Zero tolerance. Zero diversity. It's just simple. There's nothing difficult about it. There's no grey line

'Spur is only for blacks now. They don't want the whites'

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7195869/Racial-tensions-mount-South-Africa-boycott-whites-Spur-restaurants-racist-row.html

Racial tensions are mounting in South Africa as whites continue to boycott a popular restaurant chain following a 'racist row' between two customers from two years ago.

Spur Steak Ranches was once prominent family dining chain with an western American-themed dotted around the country that began serving customers since 1967 and even adapted to the social changes following apartheid.

Keith van Eeden, a former customer of Spur for three decades, told The New York Times: 'Spur is only for blacks now. They don't want the whites,'

The 'racist row' between a white man and a black woman back in 2017 at the Johannesburg franchise made an impact on customer numbers
Shocking footage captured an aggressive, foul-mouthed argument between two parents in front of small children at the restaurant

The mother leapt to her child's defence and branded the man a 'coward', later in the video the man lifts up the table and shakes it, sending cutlery crashing to the floor

Spur issued an apology to the black woman for 'not sufficiently assisting' her while the white man was banned for his 'aggressive manner' and 'unacceptable' actions.

The ban imposed on the man was seen outraged the white community who demanded that both customers should have been banned

Johan Pienaar, a brand expert who was previously a consultant for Spur on managing the boycott, told the publication that no one in the country thought it would be as effective as it is.

Six months following the protest, the chain's sales dropped by more than nine per cent and owners of franchises in predominantly white suburbs began to loose money and sell off their restaurants.

The company's chief operating officer, Mark Farrelly, said in an interview during the height of the boycott that they were facing right-wing backlash'.

In response, the leader Solidarity, an influential white-minority trade union, wrote in an open letter: 'This is about a community that feels estranged in the country. Now, they feel strange in their favorite restaurant as well.

It makes you wonder just who the hell they surveyed?!
C'mon nationalities like"Filipino","Costa rican" and "Kenyan" "Iranian", "Israeli" and "Egyptian" and sexier people than"Swedish" "Irish","Lithuanian" and "Norwegian"?
Some of these people are either blind ...!or they went to mud countries to do the survey! If it was majority white survey I am bitterly disappointed with the result! We got no hope!

Bank bans Australia First Party leader in civil rights shocker!

Barry Spall | New Australian Bulletin | June 2019

https://newaustralianbulletin.com/2019/06/13/bank-bans-party-leader-in-civil-rights-shocker

https://australiafirstparty.net/bank-bans-party-leader-in-civil-rights-shocker

Australia First Party President Dr. Jim Saleam has been banned from holding accounts at Westpac Bank or any of its group services in a major civil rights violation.  In a New Australian Bulletin exclusive the veteran nationalist described how the bank is effectively seeking to make him an 'unperson.'

Westpac did not provide a reason for its sinister actions other than to cite a violation of its "terms and conditions". A paragraph in the T&Cs titled 'Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financial Obligations' provides the only likely explanation.

Westpac Bank states:
"Transactions may be delayed, blocked, frozen (which may include isolating funds and moving them into a separate account) or refused where we have reasonable grounds to believe that they breach Australian law or sanctions (or the law or sanctions of any other country). Where transactions are delayed, blocked, frozen or refused, we and our correspondents are not liable for any loss you suffer (including consequential loss) howsoever caused in connection with your use of online banking

Regardless, none is applicable to either Dr Saleam or the Australia First Party which has received no overseas donations, nor engaged in illegal activity. Discussing the matter with his bank manager on Thursday, no basis could be determined that could warrant such action by the bank.

Other than a political decision by its staff or at the urging of a third party either relating to the NSW Police, Federal Police or even at a government level, the action is disturbingly arbitrary.

Moreover, it is typical of a pattern of political harassment occurring under the Morrison government as the recent raids on journalists at the ABC offices displayed.

Dr. Saleam:
"It's part of, in my view, the ongoing campaign that's always been waged against me. They have sought for as long as I can remember to make me a non-person. They have used the courts, but now it seems they aim to deny me not just the right to sign cheques for Australia First, but any access – their letter says – to Westpac services. I can't go into Westpac and ask for a loan. Before they look at my credit rating they will say, 'Sorry, sir, we don't deal with you

Such an action by a financial institution is not unprecedented. In 2018, the Co-operative Bank in England banned a feminist group from using its services for 'denying rights to transgender people' because they "stuck to a dictionary definition of a man and woman". Nonetheless, it remains a rare occurrence outside of social media, which is busily conducting a digital pogrom against "far-right groups" and others deemed offensive to globalist sensibilities. Prior to Westpac's indiscriminate targeting of Dr. Saleam the 63-year-old wrote a letter to the AEC asking it to investigate Facebook over political interference. The AFP leader was banned by FB and as a result, prevented from using its platform during the federal election campaign with no reason given.

Dr. Saleam believes both Facebook and Westpac are in violation of Section 28 of the Commonwealth Crimes Act which refers to a person's right to political liberty.

"This thing of Westpac's is actually a violation of my rights," he said. "They're saying that I personally can't be responsible for the affairs of a political party that has a right to participate in the so-called democratic process, therefore, Westpac has breached the Commonwealth Crimes Act."

Dr Saleam has vowed to take the matter to the Federal Police.

"I will be making a complaint to the Federal Police. I will suggest that this breach warrants sanctions and penalties against Westpac."
