American Airlines kicked a Michigan family off a plane in Florida on Wednesday night over what the airline said were complaints from other passengers about their body odor.

Yossi Adler was told other people had complained about his family's body odor and they would have to leave.

"Within a minute after we sit down all of a sudden on of the ground crew comes up to us a goes sir you need to deplane," Adler said while recalling the experience. "We need to talk to you off the plane."

Adler insists he, nor anyone in his family, had body odor.

"We take showers everyday. I was like, 'What does that mean? You want me to go to the back of the plane get some deodorant, I'll do it.'"

Adler said the airline told him he could not fly on the plane.

"As I go to the gate to rebook,  they were all holding their nose using paper to blow their nose, pretending it smells," Adler said. "What was upsetting was the manager said you don't take showers. And he thought we didn't take showers for that and I'm like, 'that is absurd.'"

Already embarrassed and inconvenienced, the Adlers weren't even able to get their checked luggage as promised. Adler said his family was left without clothes, a stoller or a carseat because of the incident.

Adler contends he and his family were kicked off because of their religion and not because of personal hygiene.

"There's a religious reason for some reason that they're kicking me off the plane. We don't have odor, OK? Nobody here has odor," Adler is heard saying on the video he shot.

Moments, later a ground crew member asked, "Now you told me for religious reasons you don't shower, is that what you said?"

Adler responded: "No I didn't! I shower every day. I said you kicked me off because of religious reasons."

American Airlines insisted that body odor, not religion, was behind Wednesday night's actions.

Racial Holy War: The Creativity Movement and the War on Terror

Damon is presently finishing his thesis which is tentatively titled, "The Physis of the Earth: Racial Holy War in the Creativity Movement." In this paper he explores the concept of racial holy war developed by Ben Klassen, the group's founder, in which racialized warfare is considered a "Natural" and inevitable fact of existence as well as a solemn obligation of all "white people." He argues that this then imbues the Creator's world with a certain meaning which makes racial warfare a religious duty. He further contends that this can be compared to the War on Terror in that war there is also conceived of as inevitable and imbued with a similar meaning-the salvation of "civilization."

The amazing thing is Creativity's Founder, P.M. Ben Klassen, knew all of the information in this video at least 30 years ago--and they're just finding out about it now.

Bankruptcy of U.S. is 'Mathematical Certainty,' Says Former CEO of Nation's 10th Largest Bank

John Allison, who for two decades served as chairman and CEO of BB&T, the nation's 10th largest bank, told CNSNews.com it is a "mathematical certainty" that the United States government will go bankrupt unless it dramatically changes its fiscal direction.

Allison likened what he sees as the predictable future bankruptcy of the United States to the problems at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, whose insolvency he also said was foreseeable to those who studied their business practices and financial situation.

"I think the first thing we have to realize is where we're going and to face it objectively," Allison told CNSNews.com, when asked about the trillion-dollar-plus deficits the federal government has run for three straight years, the more than $13 trillion in federal debt, and the $61.9 trillion long-term shortfall the government faces (according to the analysis of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation) if the government is to pay all the benefits it has promised through entitlement programs.

"If you run the numbers, on all those numbers that you just talked about, which I think are accurate, very accurate, in 20 or 25 years, the United States goes bankrupt," said Allison. "It's a mathematical certainty.

"It reminds me very much of that story I told you about Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae," said Allison. "We were running the numbers, and Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae went bankrupt, and we got there. In 20 or 25 years, the United States goes bankrupt.

"Now, countries don't go bankrupt the way companies do," said Allison. "They don't file bankruptcy. They usually hyper-inflate. They print a bunch of paper money, or they become Third World economies like Argentina--unless we change direction. So, we absolutely have to change direction. And the irony of that is it requires an interesting combination. It requires both discipline, but it also requires a focus on growing our economy. And it means a fundamental philosophical change from where we are today, from the idea of redistributing wealth to the idea of creating wealth."

In his interview with CNSNews.com Allison said that when belonged to the Financial Services Roundtable they examined Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and determined they were going bankrupt. Congressional leaders, however, did not heed their analysis.

"I was on a committee, a Financial Services Roundtable, for nine years trying to do something about Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae," said Allison.

"You couldn't help but see it coming," he said. "You ran the numbers, particularly the last several years, and it was mathematically certain Freddie and Fannie were going bankrupt."

"We met with Congress. We met with [House Financial Services Chairman] Barney Frank (jewish faggot) and [Senate Banking Chairman] Chris Dodd (roman catholic) and they absolutely wouldn't see it," said Allison.

Allison became president of BB&T in 1987 and was elected chairman in 1989. He remained CEO through 2008. He is now distinguished professor of practice at the Wake Forest University Schools of Business. By 2009, according to rankings done by SNL Financial, BB&T had grown into the nation's 10th largest bank.

There once was a college freshman named George who thought he knew it all. One night over dinner, George got into an argument with his father. The argument began when the young student tried to explain to his father that as White people, they should be held accountable for all the evils that they had inflicted upon non-Whites throughout history. George explained: "Because of European racism, we stole the Indians' land, we held blacks in slavery, we persecuted the Jews, and we plundered the environment. We've been oppressive racists for thousands of years so it's only fair that we pay economic reparations for all the harm we've done to the world. I'm pleased to see that we are ending our political and economic domination of the oppressed peoples."

George's dad was shocked to hear such talk. "Who put such commie-pinko nonsense into your head, boy? Did one of your sandal-wearing hippie college professors teach you that?" the father asked.

To which the son replied: "That's the truth dad. My anthropology professor, Dr. Irving Silverstein, says so. He ought to know. Dr. Silverstein is a well-respected Ph.D. People of your generation just don't understand because you were raised in a White supremacist, racist society. That's why I've come to admire Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King as the greatest man in American history. He stood up to the racists of your generation. Because of him, my generation of White kids is completely color blind."

The father angrily replied: "That's bull****! I've always been fair-minded and tolerant of people from all backgrounds and races. I haven't 'oppressed' anybody, and furthermore there's nothing wrong with being proud of one's own people, including the European race of people. Your race is in your blood. It's like an extension of your biological family and you ought to be proud of your European heritage and identity, just like every other racial group in America is proud of its. Why is it OK for them to have a strong sense of racial identity but it's evil for us Europeans to feel that way?"

The young "intellectual" laughed at his father. "Come on dad, that's the kind of crap Hitler tried to peddle. Those racist attitudes were discredited years ago. There's only one race and that's the human race. Diversity is our greatest strength. Differences in so-called "race" are as insignificant as differences in belly buttons. And besides, UN statistics now show that low White birth rates, along with the fact that we live in an multicultural society, will mean that Europeans and their ethnocentrist and racist culture will have died out by the end of the century," young George said.

Turning red with anger, the father yelled: "You are a walking cliché, you know that, boy? And you think it's a good thing that the European peoples of the world will have faded out and ceased to exist?" Young George replied; "I think it's great! It will mean the end of racism and the end of hate. The oppressed peoples of the world would have been better off if us racist Europeans had never existed to begin with."

Suddenly there was a blast of cold wind, an explosion, and a huge smoke cloud. When the smoke had settled, George found himself alone and lost in a cold open field.

An angel named Clarence then appeared to him and said "Well George, you've got your wish."

George asked: "Where am I? What's going on here? And who are you?"

The angel answered, "George, I'm Clarence the Angel. I was sent here to show you what the world would have been like if Europeans, or Whites, had never existed. You now live in a world where Europeans never existed."

"Oh. That's cool. I'll have no problem adapting because there's not a racist bone in my body. And when I get back to my world, I'll be able to tell my professor and my friends how great this non-racist world was. Say, I'm freezing my ass off out here. Where's the nearest motel?"

"Motel?" replied the angel. "There are no motels here in what was once called North America. But there are some caves up in those mountains where you can find shelter."

"Caves? No way, man. I want a nice warm bed to sleep in."

"I don't think you understand George. There are no buildings here in non-white America because the evil Europeans never came here to build them. Whites never existed, remember? The natives live in tents. Would you like to go meet some local Indians? Perhaps they'll let you stay in a tent."

"A tent? But it's 10 degrees outside?...Oh well. It's better than a cave I suppose. Let's go talk to these Indians...... Wait a second, are these Indians friendly or hostile?"

"Why, George, that's a racist question to ask. Just because some Indians were brutal savages who scalped their victims alive, it doesn't mean they all were", said the angel sarcastically.

"I know that Clarence. And I'm not a racist. I hate racism. Nonetheless, I'd feel safer if I could have a gun to defend myself if they turn out to be violent."

"Gun?" replied the angel. "There are no guns for you to defend yourself with. Firearms were invented by evil Europeans. Though, we could make a spear with those twigs over there..."

"That's too much work. Give me a telephone then. I'll call the Indians to ask if it's OK."

"Telephone"? replied the angel. There are no telephones here. Alexander Graham Bell was another evil white man, so he never existed. No Europeans remember?" "Forget it then," replied George. "I'll sleep in the damn cave."

Upon arriving at the cave, a shivering George asked the angel for a lighter so that he could light a fire. "A lighter?" replied Clarence. "There are no lighters here, and no matches. Those are European gadgets and evil Europeans never existed remember? If you want to get warm, you need to do like the locals do and start rubbing twigs together."

"Oh come on man! You mean to tell me these people still rub sticks together for fire?"

"That's right George. The Indians live exactly as they did before the evil pilgrims arrived from Europe just a few centuries ago." said the angel sarcastically.

"I refuse to stay in this cold cave and I damn sure ain't gonna light a fire with twigs, and I refuse to sleep in a teepee. I'll go to South America. I can make it in a warmer climate and I'll adapt quickly to the great Incan civilization I learned about at college. Since European racists like Columbus, Cortez and Pizzaro never existed, the Incans will still be there... I need a car"

"Car?" replied the angel. "There are no cars here. Daimler and Benz, the evil German inventors of the internal combustion engine, were never born...nor was Henry Ford. There are no paved roads either. This is a world without evil Europeans remember?"

"No cars! Oh. I'll just have to take a train."

"There are no trains in this world either George. Evil Europeans weren't here to build locomotive engines or to discover the many uses of coal, oil and gas, or to build trains or lay tracks. But I'll allow you to cheat just a bit. Grab hold of my magic robe and we'll fly south."

George touched the angel's robe and they flew south until they arrived in an abandoned mud hut in the midst of Incan territory. George was grateful for the warm weather but it wasn't long until he began to complain about the heat and humidity.

"Clarence, this hut is a little ****hole and I'm sweating up a storm here. Get me an air-conditioner...please!"

"Air-conditioner?" replied the angel. "There are no air-conditioners here. Air conditioning and refrigeration were inventions created by evil White men."

"What?!! You mean to tell me that in the year 2008 these people still haven't figured out a way to keep themselves or their food cool?" a frustrated George asked.

"No George, they haven't. And they never will."

"This is ridiculous. Let's go to the main city to see the Emperor. I can't live like this. Where's a car...oh I forget...no cars! Dammit I'll walk. Let's go."

After walking through the jungle for about an hour or so, it began to get dark. George then asked Clarence to give him a flashlight so that he could see. "Flashlight? Sorry George, but Thomas Edison was an evil White man too...and he was never born. There are some branches over there if you want to make a torch."

"Never mind that!" George shouted back.

By morning time, Clarence and George had arrived at the temple of the Incans. A bloody human sacrifice was in progress. George turned to Clarence and cried, "They're going to butcher that poor soul! Somebody has got to stop this. What horrible murdering beasts! Can't anyone stop them?"aztecshumansacrifice

The angel replied "I'm afraid not. Ritual killings are common place here." Those evil European racists like Columbus, Cortez and Pizzaro never existed so the Incans just continued their brutal ways. In fact, it was the oppressed peoples themselves who made up the bulk of the Spanish armed forces. The people saw the Spaniards as liberators who would rid them of the oppressive Incan and Mayan rulers and give them a better life."

"I can't blame them for helping the Spaniards then. This is a horrible place. Get me out of this ****hole now!" said George.

'Where would you like to go?" Clarence replied.

George said: "Take me to Africa, maybe there's a more advanced and humane civilization there that I can fit into. Where's the nearest airport?"

"Oh, I forgot...no Wright Brothers." George said. "How about a boat?"

"Boats?" replied the angel. "I'm afraid the most seaworthy rafts available to you won't be of much help in crossing the vast Atlantic Ocean. The great Viking sailors and European navigators never existed. No Phoenicians, no Leif Eriksson, no Henry the Navigator, no Columbus, no Magellan, no Hudson and no Robert Fulton. Even if you could build your own ship, there would be no compass for you to navigate with and no sextant either. I'm afraid you're stuck here George."

"Can I touch your robe and fly to Africa then" asked George.

"You're cheating again George, but all right. Touch my robe and we'll fly to Africa."

When they arrived in Africa, George saw thousands of half-naked African tribesmen being herded along a dirt path. They were guarded by other Africans with spears. "What are they doing to those poor men?" George asked Clarence.

"They are being enslaved by another tribe. Slavery was common in Africa long before the whites arrived," Clarence said. "In fact, most of the slaves who were shipped to the Americas were sold to the slave traders by African tribal leaders."

"That's so sad," George said. "I want to meet Martin Luther King. Since his White assassin never existed, this great man should still be alive. He's probably a great tribal chief somewhere and leader of an advanced civilization. He will free these slaves from their African masters. Take me to him, Clarence."

Clarence led George to a little hut deep in the heart of Africa. The naked women and children looked at George in wonder. The young men were out on a hunt but the older men stayed behind. George was led to the dingy little hut of the tribal witchdoctor and spiritual leader. There he saw a wild-looking man with a necklace of teeth around his neck and a huge ring pierced through his nose. "What the hell is that?" George asked.

"Meet Witch-doctor Matunbo Lutamba Kinga" Clarence said. He never became Reverend Martin Luther King because there were no universities or seminaries built to educate him. Europeans weren't there to create such opportunities. But he did become the tribe's spiritual leader. He specializes in casting evil spells. Perhaps he can help you?"

The witch doctor gazed in wonder at George. Then he motioned to his henchmen to seize young George. The tribesmen grabbed hold of George and tied him to a nearby tree.

"Stop it! Let me go. What are they going to do to me?" cried George hysterically.

"They're going to perform a ritual killing on you, George. The good doctor King...I mean Kinga — believes that by cutting your heart out while you are still alive, it will bring good fortune and fertility to his tribe," laughed Clarence.

"Clarence! Clarence! Help me Clarence! Help me!

"But George, you told me that you wanted to go to Africa and to meet your hero Reverend King."

George said: "This part of Africa has not developed yet. I can see that now. Take me to North Africa where Egypt and Carthage established great civilizations. Just get me out of here, please."

Just as the witch doctor's spear was about to carve out George's heart, George vanished into thin air. He then found himself on the banks of the river Nile in Egypt.

"Thank you Clarence. Thank you," George said. "I don't understand it Clarence. Why does so much of the world remain so brutal and primitive? I learned during Black History Month about many talented black inventors and scientists. Garrett Morgan, George Washington Carver, Benjamin Banneker, Granville Woods. Then there's Dr. Carson, the preeminent brain surgeon in all of America. Where are these men?"

Clarence replied: "Don't you understand yet? America, and Africa, exist exactly as they did before the Europeans discovered them. Civilization as you had known it had only been introduced to these people just a few centuries ago by the Europeans. There are no universities, no hospitals, no means of transportation other than animals, no science, no medicine, no machines. In fact, the wheel hasn't even been discovered in Sub-Saharan Africa! Those black scientists, inventors, doctors, athletes, and entertainers you speak of were never given the opportunity to realize their full human potential because Europeans weren't around to introduce higher civilization and learning to them. There are no George Washington Carvers in this non-European world, no Dr. Carsons, no Booker T. Washingtons, no Benjamin Bannekers, no Michael Jordans, no Oprah Winfreys, no Bill Cosbys, no..."

"Stop it! That can't be!" cried George. "Let's walk over to the great pyramids of Egypt right now and I'll show you one of the great wonders of the world ...built by non-Whites"

They walked a few miles before George stopped and asked where the nearest toilet was. "Toilets?" replied the angel. There are no toilets or urinals in this world. Plumbing was developed by evil Europeans. The people in this non-White world still relieve themselves in open fields."

Clarence turned around so George could do his business. "I need some toilet paper." George said.

"Toilet paper?" replied the angel. "There..."

"I know. I know. Toilet paper hasn't been invented yet. Just hand me a rag then".

Clarence obliged and the two of them went on their way.

"I don't understand. According to my recollections from Geography class, the great pyramids should be near this very spot. We ought to be able to see them from miles away," said George.

"Well, George, I'm sure your professors at the college never told you this, but the ancient Egyptians were not black or brown. They were Caucasians. The anthropologists who examined the Egyptian mummies confirmed this fact. There are no pyramids and no Sphinx either. And the Carthaginians were white too."

George became depressed, but he was determined to prove his beliefs. "What's in Europe?" he asked.

"Europe became populated by Huns and other Asiatic tribes. They've settled down a bit but life is much the same as it is in North America. A nomadic existence based on hunting and food gathering. No great cities, no science, no buildings, no culture, no fine art – just a hard daily struggle against life and the elements of nature. In a Europe without evil Whites, the Roman Empire never existed nor did the Greeks. There was no Renaissance either."

"Take me to Asia then. Surely the great civilizations of Persia, India, China, and Japan will suit me" George said. "Clarence, to the Taj Mahal please."

"The Taj Mahal?" replied the angel. "Don't you know that the ancient Persian and Indian civilizations were established by ancient Indo-European tribes who crossed the Himalayas? They are the ones who civilized India and built the Taj Mahal. Those are the great civilizations that Marco Polo, Columbus, and others were searching for. Did you know that Iran is Persian for "land of the Aryan?"

George said: "Don't tell me that the Indians were White men! That can't be. In the world I came from, I knew many Indians and they were not White!"

Clarence explained: "As the centuries passed, the Indo-Europeans who created Indian civilization intermarried with the native majorities who populated the Indian subcontinent. Gradually there were less and less evil White people until they faded out completely, along with the advanced civilization they had built. You will notice that there are still a few white-skinned and fair-haired Indians and Pakistanis around today — in the world you came from that is.

George became worried. He knew he could never fit into the harsh primitive world he had been thrust into. Suddenly he thought of Japan. "Japan! I'll show you now Clarence. Take me to Japan. If the Japanese can make TVs and cameras then I'm sure I'll find a decent civilization that I can live in."

Clarence transported George to Japan. George observed that Japanese society was the most orderly, advanced and civil that he had seen, but it seemed as if almost everyone was a rice farmer, a fisherman, or a soldier. There were no cars, no skyscapers, no lights, no stereos, no sciences, no technologies, and no universities. It was a stagnant agricultural society that seemed to have reached its high water mark and was incapable of moving forward. George knew he could not live here either.

Clarence explained to George: "Even the industrious Japanese and Chinese peoples had to rely on the evil Europeans to build the modern Asia that you had in mind. In this world, Japan exists exactly as it did before Commodore Perry's American naval ships arrived in Japan in the 1850s. There's no industry, no technology, no Fuji film, no Sony, no Hitachi, no Panasonic, no Toyota, no Sushi bars, no baseball...none of the trappings or comforts of modern life. These things don't exist in Japan or anywhere else because Europeans weren't there to create them and share them with the rest of the world. Would you care for a bowl of rice George?"

George began to feel sick in both his body and his mind. Not only was he depressed, but exposure to the harsh elements of nature had left him physically ill. "Clarence, I seem to have contracted some type of sickness. I must have some anti-biotics."

"Anti-biotics? There's no...

"Oh shut up already! Then just take me back to the world as it was!"

"Sorry George. I'm not authorized to do that. Only my boss can make that call."

Clarence said to him: "You see George. Your father was right. You really had a wonderful race. Don't you see what a foolish mistake it is to be ashamed and guilty about your own people, and to let them die out? This is what the world would be like without the creative spark of Edison and Ford and Pasteur and Marconi. No great scientists, or mathematicians, or inventors or fine artists. No Archimedes, no Aristotle, no Socrates, no Alexander, no Renaissance, no Newton, no Kepler, no Goddard, no Mendel, no Tesla, no Faraday, no Guttenberg, no Shakespeare, no Dickens, no Twain, no Mozart, no Beethoven, no Davinci, no Michelangelo, no Galileo, no Copernicus. No Venice, no Paris, no Lisbon, no Madrid, no Zurich, no Berlin, no St. Petersburg, no Budapest, no Rome, no Milan, no Vienna, no London, no New York, no Rio, no Sydney. No orchestras, no museums, no universities, no hospitals, no libraries, no theaters, no radio, no books, no television, no electricity, no refrigeration, no heating, no plumbing, no houses, no steel, no stadiums, no vaccines, no cars, no planes, no trains, no ships, no dentists, no surgeons, no computers, no telephones, and most important – there's no creative genius to be found that could create and sustain such a high level of civilization. There's nothing for the people of this world to build upon. It's just a daily struggle for subsistence. It's a brutal planet where the few people who aren't mired in eternal ignorance and darkness have reached their peak of civilization and are advancing no further."

Clarence went on to lecture the broken and depressed young man for seven days straight. He covered everything. History, science, economics, philosophy, art, literature, fine music, architecture, medicine, politics, agriculture, religion, and all the creations and contributions that the European peoples had made in every conceivable field of human endeavor. George listened closely to every word. He felt like a man who had been reborn.

After his lecture, Clarence the Angel floated away towards heaven. "I hope you have found all this to be educational, and I hope you have learned an important lesson. Enjoy your world, George!" mocked the departing angel.

George began to sob like a baby. It was the year 2008 and he was alone and hungry in a backwards world where Europeans had never existed. He cried out to the stars: "Please God. I see what a fool I've been. I understand now what my father was trying to tell me. I want to go back to the world that I came from. A world where Europeans not only existed, but blessed the rest of humanity world with their unique creative ability. I want to live in a civilized world. Please God!...take me back!...take me back!...Oh God....please."

Suddenly George was transported back to his college dormitory. Drunk with joy, George jumped into the showers before he could even take his clothes off!

"Warm water, and soap! Life is beautiful!" he screamed.

George's roommates looked at him as if he was crazy. "George! Have you gone crazy?" asked a bewildered schoolmate.

"No, my friends, I haven't taken leave of my senses. I've come to them!" George replied. George then began to sing classic European folk songs in the shower. Miraculously, he was able to sing in many different languages. He sang O Sole Mio in Italian, Amazing Grace in English, Gloire Immortelle in French, Das Ist Der Tag in German, and also Belgian, Spanish and French ballads and waltzes. Tears of sheer joy began to stream down his cheeks. The degenerate music of hip-hop and rap lost all of its appeal to young George.

After his shower, George drove to a nearby restaurant and ordered two whole entrees. One was Lasagna and the other was a delicious veal marsala. With his Italian food he had a Greek salad with Spanish olives and Russian dressing, drank a whole bottle of French wine, followed by a German pastry for dessert. He finished his meal off with a hot cup of English tea and a Cuban cigar.

George said out loud: "Oh, those European peoples and their delicious cuisine. Clarence was right after all. What a wonderful race!"

George was happy, but at the same time he realized there was much work to be done. He thought of all those poor whites in Rhodesia and South Africa who were being murdered and raped ever since they gave up control of those once-European nations. He thought of the many thousands of qualified Whites who were passed up for good jobs and college entrance because of racial quotas that discriminate against Europeans. He thought about the declining birthrates among all the European nations of the world. He remembered that Europeans everywhere were dwindling in numbers every year even as their own nations were being flooded with third world immigration. He recalled the O.J. Simpson verdict and how millions of blacks in America cheered when that brutal double murderer was set free by a black jury after he stabbed two Whites to death. He remembered the Los Angeles riots of 1992, where dozens of Whites were dragged out of their vehicles and killed like dogs in the streets by packs of White-hating monsters who were never even punished! He remembered the time when Jesse Jackson led a cheer at Stanford University: "Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Western Civ. has got to go!" His European blood began to boil in righteous indignation when he recalled how Jesse Jackson once said he had spit in White people's food when he was a young restaurant worker. George now understood that that his people were on a collision course with worldwide disaster and genocide. George realized that this great people must not perish from the face of the earth.

George could not wait to see his father. He longed to embrace him and apologize for all of the foolish and disrespectful things he had said to him. But first, George had a score to settle with a certain college professor. He walked into Dr. Silverstein's auditorium and quietly took a seat in the back row. The nasal voiced Silverstein was lecturing on and on about racial and gender inequalities in European-centered civilizations. It was vintage Silverstein. George's impressionable White schoolmates, with their baggy pants, hip-hop clothes and backwards baseball caps, were swallowing Silverstein's poison pills hook, line and sinker. After letting Silverstein spew his cultural poison for about 15 minutes or so, George raised his hand so that he could give the professor a piece of his newly educated mind.

"George? Is that you? I remember you from last semester. I wasn't aware that you were here today. I failed to recognize you in that shirt and tie, and without your earrings. You must have enjoyed my course so much that you signed up again eh? Class, I'd like for you to meet George. He was one of my brightest students last semester. He truly has a thorough grasp of the ideas presented in this course. George, would you be so kind as to tell my class about that brilliant term paper you wrote about European racism, imperialism, and the need for monetary reparations?"

That's when young George let loose on the unsuspecting Professor.

"ENOUGH! You scheming devil! You mendacious fabricator of falsehoods! You pusillanimous purveyor of pinko propaganda! How dare you try to corrupt and manipulate our young minds with your filthy lies. We Europeans have nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to apologize for, and everything to be proud of. And most of all, we don't owe anybody jack-**** – not one thin dime! To the contrary, it is the rest of humanity that owes us a debt which can never be repaid! We are the rightful heirs and protectors of a rich cultural heritage. You vile manipulator! We are the sons of the Romans, the sons of the Greeks, the Celtics, the Vikings, the Normans, the Saxons. Why do you inflict shame and guilt upon us? We Europeans didn't just contribute to civilization...WE ARE CIVILIZATION! And I declare that I will no longer tolerate you ****head "intellectuals" trying to tear our people down. Never again will we walk on eggshells when we speak, always fearing that we might be called "racist." I no longer care what people think. All that matters is the truth which you have sought to pervert!"

"What are you up to anyway? Why do you to corrupt my young peers by shoving false heroes down their throats. Enough of your Marxist games of divide and conquer, you commie pinko subversive! I don't want to learn anymore about Martin Luther King, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton or Black History Month. They would not have amounted to anything without the institutions of high civilization created by the European peoples. I'm going to set this class straight about who the truly great men of history are – the European statesmen, scientists, explorers, monarchs, navigators, conquerors, inventors, artists, writers, philosophers – the innovative giants of history that you and your ilk have erased from our collective memories. You speak of a world liberated from European influence? Permit me tell your students about such a world, Silverstein, because I can speak from personal experience, you wretched little conspiring monster!"

Silverstein turned white as a ghost. He was shell-shocked and rendered speechless for the first time in his career! Never in all of his years at the university had a student dared to so boldly challenge his falsehoods. Speaking from the heart as well as the mind, and with an eloquence he never thought he could muster, George broke out into a 60-minute monologue on history, science, philosophy, culture, and all the other attributes that constitute high civilization. The young students were captivated by George's brilliant oratory. Many were moved to tears. By the end of his tirade, George's reawakened classmates were thundering their approval of his speech. The class gave George a standing ovation and they thanked him for helping them rediscover and reclaim their own sense of pride and lost identity. The unstoppable power of truth had melted away years of Marxist guilt-tripping, self hate, wimpishness and cultural brainwashing in just one unforgettable hour. The inspired students proceeded to storm out of Silverstein's class, throwing their hip-hop baseball caps and nose earrings at him as they stampeded out and vowed never to return. They lifted George up upon their shoulders and carried him out of the auditorium like a conquering hero. With a glint in his eye, George glanced up towards the sky, winked and said "Thank you, Clarence."

Dr. Silverstein was left humiliated and visibly shaken. He knew that these reawakened European kids could never again be brainwashed with "political correctness" and White guilt. Silverstein's greatest fear was that more of these proud European youths would one day reawaken and take their country and civilization back from the Silversteins of the world.

Silverstein was worried, but he remained confident that most young men and women would never learn the truth about their glorious past and unique creative abilities. After all, the mass media, Hollywood, the music industry, the colleges, and the public schools are all controlled by "liberals" like Dr. Silverstein. With the power of political correctness in their hands, they can continue to tear down our European ancestors, destroy our institutions and traditions, instigate blacks and other races against the whites, flood America with third-world immigration, and push "hip-hop" music, homosexuality, and other garbage onto a weak, confused and morally degenerate youth. After reflecting upon these facts, Silverstein smiled a devilish grin and muttered to himself: "A few of these European sheep may wake up to what's being done to them, but the majority of these idiots never will." And he smiled again....and laughed with diabolical Marxist glee. Then he repeated to himself "No...they will never figure it all out until it's too late."

Most will find this amazing, but many elements of modern Nazism actually began one hundred years ago, in 1898 France of all places! The French government, publishing, and finance at the time were being widely infiltrated by the Jews (sound familiar?), but many proud Frenchmen and women organized openly in "Anti-Semitic Leagues" against the horror. One woman in particular, the Countess of Martel, was a fabulously successful writer under the pen name of "Gyp" who began composing Anti-Jewish novels, while openly begging in the new Anti-Semitic press for some general with the balls to stage a coup.

Her classic characters from this period included: "Baron Wildswine", "Sant-Satan", "Slimererai", Messrs. "Pickledpork" and "Monopoly", Rabbi Moloch-Rahab, and the Judaskiss Brothers. She rewrote the French National Anthem (the Marseillaise) to a new Anti-Semitic text. She began having Aryan characters in her works propose "solutions to the Jewish problem" and soon developed a regular newspaper column with her own cartoons and encouragement for readers to write in and suggest "what can be done to clean up the Jewish filth". In response, one letter from an Army Doctor was published proposing medical experimentation with Jews, so as "save innocent animals", while a butcher suggested he could turn them into "the most delectable pate for dogs".

She was apparently famous for quietly mouthing "You'll burn!" when encountering Jews in public, while staring them down with her classic "sardonic smile". As for herself, she said "I would indifferently take those Jews I couldn't frighten out of France and grind them in a mortar." She once said "a Holocaust" (yes!) of "lives not worth living" would be justified if restorative of the soil of the Homeland sufficient for even a single future racially pure child. Like the later Streicher, she was accused of pornography and constantly found herself in court to face "libel" charges. Being sent a threatening dagger in the mail, she published a response which noted that she had "had it sharpened and would from now on wear it in public" (she also devised a bludgeon concealed in a bamboo cane). Finally, our "Lady of Aryanry" had the very-forward looking recommendation for jurors to free the most notorious criminals regardless of the evidence, in order to end public confidence in all aspects of government. In public, the Jews gave her the greatest compliment by saying "She merits our fear". The Anti-Semitic Leagues were the first to form roving meeting "protection squads", much like the later SS, armed with butcher blades, who would go from protecting Anti-Semitic public rallies to the even more dangerous task of accompanying Fascist "interrupters" to pro-Jew demonstrations. They also had neighborhood-based "don't buy from the Jews" organizations. These French paleo-Nazis, with a typical Gallic flair for satire, started an "Anti-Semitic Lodge" in Paris, with rituals parodying those of the Talmudic-Masonic Lodges. In a modern note, those confronted with court and police orders they thought illegal and/or immoral would often barricade themselves in their homes.

Sadly, with the turn of the century and finding that the "conservatives" had been bought out by the Jews and were now the nationalists' worst enemies, many French paleo-Nazis fled to northern Spain, as did surviving German Nazis at the end of the Second World War. Gyp's last newspaper account of Jewish ritual murder was published in 1903, as was the first plea (hers, of course) against allowing Algerian trash to immigrate to the beloved French homeland. Who can ever be trusted in such dire times? This tiny heroic woman had an answer: "Trust yourself and others to the extent your hate and theirs grows ...every day."

I received a letter today from one Mike Purcell.  Does anyone know him?

They take "exceptional" young men and train them in warfare-against blacks, Asians, Jews, gays, even plain old Christians. William Sherman looks at hatred as a growth industry, and the organization -Klanwatch- that's cunningly working to stamp it out.

The rolling hills are quiet, a placid deep-green blanket of Great Smoky Mountains pine under a soft sun. Only a church violates the serenity. It's not an ordinary church. There is no cross, no pews and no listed telephone number or address.

Welcome to the Church of the Creator, a seventeen-acre landscaped compound in Otto, North Carolina, that includes small-arms firing ranges, paramilitary barracks and other buildings located off a narrow side road in this isolated southwestern corner of the state.

Inside a large converted barn that serves as headquarters, church founder and leader, Ben Klassen, a former Florida state legislator and retired engineer, intones a church prayer: "RAHOWA," he says softly. "Racial Holy War."

"Adolf Hitler is the greatest leader the white race ever had," says Church of the Creator founder, Ben Klassen.

The church "Pontifex Maximus," as he calls himself, sits beneath a large painted portrait of Adolf Hitler. "The greatest leader the white race ever had," says Klassen. He is robust, with slicked-down black hair, and looks far younger than his seventy-four years. His moustache is trimmed exactly like Hitler's, narrow and squared off at the edges.

"We want a country rid of Jews and blacks," says Klassen, an articulate man who made his fortune in real estate.

"We're not wimps," he says. "We'll fight to defend ourselves... Jews aren't white, they don't even consider themselves white, the blacks are dragging us down...

This is his most polite rhetoric. His preaching is otherwise laced with phrases like "mud race niggers" and "human rat Jews." He calls the Federal Reserve Board a "Jew counterfeiting ring," and successive U.S. administrations "JOG-Jewish Occupied Governments."

However extreme his views, Klassen is no impotent one-man band. His church has thirty-four branches around the world (Jackson, Mississippi; Missoula, Montana; England and Stockholm among them); publishes a monthly newsletter called "Racial Loyalty" along with dozens of other books and pamphlets; and maintains numerous telephone hotlines for those who wish to call for news and information. Generally, those calls yield a recital of Klassen's latest thoughts. He is decidedly anti-Christian along with his other biases, claiming that "the Jews created Christianity and its turn-the-other-cheek-and-help-the-poor-philosophy as a way to bring down the Roman Empire and take over. The Sermon on the Mount is advice you would only give your worst enemy," he says.

And his audience is growing. Since 1990 groups of committed young men have traveled here for extensive political training under Klassen's tutelage. The recruits wear white berets or cowboy hats, live in the barracks and practice shooting with automatic weapons on the firing range. Many are older teenagers. "Exceptional boys," Klassen calls them.

Klassen's newspaper urges these young followers to "Rise! Rise and let them feel the weight of your boot upon their necks, let them cower before you... we shall wage deadly war upon them."

Last year, a Klassen disciple followed those instructions to the letter. George Loeb, Jr., a Church of the Creator "reverend," allegedly shot and killed a twenty-two-year-old, black U.S. Navy sailor who had just returned from duty in the Persian Gulf. Loeb, thirty-four, was handing out church literature in a Neptune Beach, Florida, supermarket parking lot. The sailor, Officer 3rd Class Harold J. Mansfield of the USS Saratoga, and Loeb began arguing. According to a shipmate, Mansfield picked up a brick, but then dropped it, telling Loeb, "You're not worth it." Loeb then pulled out a .25 caliber semiautomatic and shot Mansfield in the chest. He is now awaiting trial on murder charges.

"I am no more responsible for that than the pope is responsible for all the Catholic felons in prison," KLassen says angrily, bridling at questions about the incident. "Not at all."

But just then, looking out the window, I notice a man named Steve Thomas, emerging from the barracks and walking toward the barn. Thomas is the church "reverend" charged with aiding and abetting Loeb's flight from Florida to New York where he was eventually arrested on a fugitive warrant.

"Oh," says Klassen when Thomas and his alleged connection to the murder is pointed out, "He's leaving tomorrow."

Klassen's Church of the Creator is one of 346 documented hate groups operating throughout the United States, including the Ku Klux Klans, neo-Nazis and skinhead organizations, a startling 27 percent increase over the number of such groups in operation last year.

Bias incidents during 1991 include murders, bombings, arsons and hundreds of assaults, threats, cross burnings, harassment of minorities and vandalism against their property and houses of worship. In Arlington, Texas, three skinheads were charged with shooting a black man to death. In North Hollywood, firebombs gutted an orthodox Jewish school. In Houston, a white man with Ku Klux Klan tattoos attacked and attempted to rape a black woman. And in Boston, swastikas were painted on the campaign signs of a Hispanic city council candidate.

In New Jersey alone, the state police recorded 976 bias offenses, an increase of 18 percent over the previous year. Blacks were the victims in 358 cases, 37 percent of the total, while Jews were the most frequently victimized religious group. Twenty-one incidents involved homosexuals as victims. In neighboring New York State, police reported 1100 hate-motivated attacks against blacks and Jews for last year. And bias crimes and assaults against Asians are increasing across the nation.

Introduction

     Since 1973, the Church of the Creator (COTC) has been a virulently anti-Semitic and racist organization that uses the rhetoric of religion as a flimsy camouflage for the promotion of hate. Its founder and longtime leader, the late Ben Klassen, a far-right political activist in the 1960s, gloried in the concept he fervently and frequently proclaimed as his goal: racial holy war."

     COTC propaganda is as hostile toward Christianity as it is toward Judaism; as hateful toward Blacks and other people of color as it is toward Jews. At this time, while its numbers are relatively small -- membership comprises less than a thousand -- it has been growing. Yet the danger it poses and the concern it merits derive from factors beyond mere numbers. Disturbing recent developments include:

     * several COTC members have been convicted of, or are being tried for, serious violent crimes, including murder -- most recently, in July 1993, authorities uncovered two separate plots involving West Coast COTC members in efforts to firebomb Jewish and Black institutions and assassinate prominent Jews and African-Americans;

     * the group has close ties to other violence-prone extremist factions, including Tom Metzger's White Aryan Resistance and William Pierce's National Alliance, as well as to neo-Nazi Skinheads

     * two of Klassen's announced successors have been convicted of felony offenses -- one of them recently completed 6 years in a federal prison, while the other recently began a federal prison term following 9 bombing convictions;

     * COTC activists operate beyond the U.S., in such countries as Canada, England, Sweden, and South Africa, extending the group's reach
and providing it with international recruiting and propaganda outlets.

     Over the past three years, COTC membership and influence appear to have increased among white supremacists. This increase is particularly attributable to COTC activity involving the youngest and most violence-prone segment of the extremist underworld, the neo-Nazi Skinheads. The affiliation of these Skinheads with the COTC (and other established groups, particularly White Aryan Resistance) has coincided with a marked increase in violent, racist activity in the U.S. It is important to expose groups like COTC whose writings shape the beliefs and inspire the behavior of many of these young thugs.

     It is hoped that this report will enhance public awareness of the Church of the Creator, a viciously hateful and potentially violent organization whose self-expressed aim is nothing less than the fomenting of a worldwide racially based war.

The Creator of The Church of the Creator

     Ben Klassen, the founder of the Church of the Creator, was born on February 20, 1918, in Taurida, Ukraine. When he was six, his family moved to Mexico, and two years later re-settled in rural Saskatchewan. Canada. As an adult, Klassen taught elementary school in Canada, then worked as an electrical engineer in California. He also worked as a part-time inventor, reportedly earning a patent for an electric can opener in 1954.

     In 1958, Klassen moved to Florida, where he became a successful real estate agent. The first indication of his political views came to light in 1965, when he was elected as a Republican to the Florida State Legislature. At the time, he had campaigned against busing and the federal government -- conventional conservative positions of the day. James Eddy, a GOP leader in the Florida House at the time, said of Klassen, "He was a good legislator....  Most of his votes were well-reasoned."

     After his legislative district was reapportioned by court order, Klassen ran unsuccessfully for state senator in 1967. He next served as Florida chairman of Alabama governor George Wallace's 1968 independent presidential campaign. (Wallace was, of course, leading segregationist figure at the time.)

     Concurrent with his brief involvement with the democratic process, Klassen at the time was closely affiliated with the ultra-right John Birch Society; in 1966 he was introduced at the Society's eighth annual dinner by the group's founder and leader, Robert Welch. He later donated $1000 for a lifetime membership, and opened a Birch-affiliated American Opinion Bookstore.

     Klassen's lurch ever-rightward became even more apparent, however, by the end of the decade, when he accused George Wallace of intentionally courting African-American support, terming it "a complete betrayal of what he represented." He also later denounced the John Birch Society as a "smokescreen for the Jews."

New "Church," Old Hatred

     In 1973, Klassen founded the Church of the Creator in Lighthouse Point, Florida. At the same time, he published its first manifesto, Nature's Eternal Religion. He proclaimed in the 511-page screed: "We completely reject the Judeo-democratic-Marxist values of today and supplant them with new and basic values. of which race is the foundation." Klassen contrasted his new religion, "Creativity," with Christianity, which he termed a "suicidal religion."

     For much of the '70s, Klassen achieved little recognition for his self-created theology. Then, in 1979, he began mailing unsolicited copies of a booklet titled "The Brutal Truth About Inflation and Financial Enslavement  -- The Federal Reserve Board -- The Most Gigantic Counterfeiting Ring in the World." The essay alleged that "the Federal Reserve Banks are owned, lock, stock and barrel, by a criminal gang of International Bankers" and claimed, The Federal Reserve owns the U.S. Government and manipulates it like a puppet, solely for the interests of this avaricious international gang of Jewish jackals, who control the world, its money, and its economy.

     Klassen's pamphlet concludes, "Now that you understand the Jewish program of piracy, looting and enslavement by means of the Federal Reserve and money manipulations, now get the rest of the story and the program of The Church of the Creator by reading their White Man's Bible: Nature's Eternal Religion."

Klassen continued these apparently random mailings for much of the next decade.

     In 1981, the COTC founder published a sequel to Nature's Eternal Religion, titled The White Man's Bible. This 453 page book revealed such key Klassen teachings as:

     * "Today's Black Plague is spelled niggers.... We regard them as subhuman or humanoid....

     * The most deadly threat the White Race faces is the tremendous expansion of the mud [i.e., "non-white"] races led by the arch-enemy -- the treacherous Jew....

     * We...declare everlasting war on the Jews, a war to the finish, until we have expelled them from all the lands inhabited by the white race."

A Moving Experience

     Thereafter, in May 1982, COTC announced the construction of new headquarters in Mulberry, North Carolina, three miles from the Georgia state line.  Klassen chose the new site because he believed Florida had become too dangerous. "I think South Florida is due for a lot of turmoil when bloody fighting breaks out," he stated. "Actually, I expect the financial collapse of the entire country, and blood will be flowing in the streets."

     By 1983, the North Carolina compound was completed, and Klassen opened a post office box in Otto, North Carolina. Now describing himself as COTC's "Pontifex Maximus" (Latin for "high priest"), Klassen began publishing a gutter-level monthly tabloid called Racial Loyalty.

     More books later flowed from the Klassen pen. In 1985, COTC published Expanding Creativity, an anthology of articles from Racial Loyalty. The following year saw the publication of a second collection. Building Whiter And Brighter World. In mid-1987, the Church published Rahowa! This Planet is All Ours. The term "rahowa" (taken from "racial holy war") itself was intended to be a COTC battle cry in the group's genocidal quest for world domination. In the book, Klassen declared:

     RAHOWA! In this one word we sum up the total goal and program of not only the Church of the Creator, but of the total White Race, and it is this: We take up the challenge. We gird for total war against the Jews and the rest of the goddamned mud races of the world -- politically, militantly, financially, morally and religiously. In fact, we regard it as the heart of our religious creed, and as the most sacred credo of all. We regard it as a holy war to the finish -- a racial holy war. Rahowa! is INEVITABLE. It is the Ultimate and Only solution.  [emphasis in original]

The ominous and threatening tone continued with a dire prediction:

     No longer can the mud races and the White Race live on the same planet and survive. It is now either them or us. We want to make damn sure it is we who survive. This planet is from now on all ours, and will be the one and only habitat for our future progeny for all time to come.

     In 1991, Klassen codified the "Creator" philosophy in a catechism titled The Little White Book -- clearly, yet astonishingly, inspired by the little red book of Mao-Tse Tung. His final publication, released in 1993, was an autobiographical work, Trials, Tribulations and Triumphs.

Growing Recognition in the Hate Business

     As Klassen cranked these writings out, the COTC name grew within the white supremacist movement -- particularly among its youngest and most violence-prone adherents -- throughout the '80s. By the start of the next decade, groups of neo-Nazi skinheads began congregating at COTC headquarters for indoctrination and weapons training.

     According to a September 1992 article in Mirabella magazine, the "seventeen-acre landscaped compound...includes small-arms firing ranges, paramilitary barracks and other buildings....      COTC's growth was attributable in part to the simultaneous, though only temporary, decline of Tom Metzger's White Aryan Resistance (WAR) organization.  which throughout the '80s exerted the greatest influence among neo-Nazi skinheads, as it again does today. In 1990, an Oregon jury found Metzger and his son John liable for inciting a group of skinheads to murder an Ethiopian immigrant.  (The civil suit was brought on behalf of the victim's family by the Southern Poverty Law Center and ADL") As a result, the Metzgers were ordered to pay a $12.5 million penalty. They also suffered a loss of prestige in the skinhead underworld when an investigation of their finances during pre-trial discovery revealed that they had used WAR funds to purchase personal items, such as the elder Metzger's toupee. COTC reaped the benefits of this disenchantment, picking up substantial new membership from former WAR chapters.

     As COTC's membership swelled, so did its rhetoric of violence (as well as the number of violent acts, detailed elsewhere in this report, allegedly committed by COTC members). Klassen -- quite possibly fearing a civil suit similar to the case against Metzger -- spent much of 1992 looking for a successor to take over the Church. In September 1992, the Asheville, North Carolina, Citizen-Times reported that Klassen had sold the COTC compound for $100,000 to William Pierce.

     Pierce, a former officer in George Lincoln Rockwell's original American Nazi Party, is the head of another neo-Nazi group, the National Alliance. His connection with Klassen came as no surprise: like Klassen, Pierce is a recluse,  living on a 346-acre West Virginia compound he calls the Cosmotheist Community. Moreover, like Klassen, Pierce is a bitterly hateful opponent of Christianity.

     According to an unsolicited mailing sent to subscribers of Racial Loyalty in April 1993, Pierce once told his followers, "Any Alliance member who is also a member of a church or other Christian organization which supports racial mixing or Zionism should decide now where he stands, and should then resign either from his church or from the Alliance." Prior to their formal real estate transaction, Klassen had promoted his fellow white supremacist by advertising two grisly Pierce novels in Racial Loyalty, The Turner Diaries -- which provided the blueprint for a series of terrorist acts in the 1980s by the Order, an offshoot of the National Alliance and the Aryan Nations -- and Hunter, the sequel to The Turner Diaries.

     In March 1993, Pierce announced that he was putting up the COTC property for sale again, this time asking for $299,900. To date, no one has responded to this offer.

Other Extremist Links to the COTC

     Beyond Ben Klassen's financial ties to William Pierce, the COTC's path has intersected with assorted other white supremacists and right-wing extremists over the years. Principal among these connections was Klassen's relationship with Tom Metzger; for example, in January 1985, a letter from Klassen invited Metzger to form a COTC group in California, suggesting that he would appoint Metzger to "a higher title (equivalent to a bishop, cardinal, etc. in the Catholic Church, except we would come up with some Latin name for it)... which would provide prestige and some legal protection." Klassen reprinted the letter in a 1989 issue of Racial Loyalty, reiterating the offer.

     On both occasions, Metzger rebuffed Klassen, yet he apparently retained respect for the like-minded COTC leader. In an August 1993 telephone message, Metzger stated, "It is with deep regret to announce [sic] the death of a long-time fighter for the cause, Ben Klassen.... Tom Metzger and Ben Klassen had a somewhat stormy relationship. Ben was not the easiest person to get along with.  However, his dedication and sacrifice should be noted by even his strongest critics." The following week, Metzger promoted the two main COTC "religious" manuals, Nature's Eternal Religion and The White Man's Bible, in his next telephone address.

     In May 1992, Racial Loyalty published an essay by David Lane on "the Christian Right-wing American Patriots, C.R.A.P. (since that is what they do to [sic] the future of all White children)." Lane, 54, was a member of the far-right terrorist group known as The Order, who is currently serving a 40-year racketeering sentence, as well as a 150-year term for civil rights violation in connection with the 1984 murder of a Denver, Colorado, Jewish radio personality, Allen Berg. (Lane had driven the getaway car in the killing.)

     More recently, current COTC leader Rick McCarty has appointed as his Florida state director Mike McCaffrey, whose extremist career includes a stint as producer of the neo-Nazi public access TV show "Race and Reason," hosted by Florida hatemonger Herb Poinsett. (The program itself is a spin-off of a Tom Metzger public access series, also called "Race and Reason.")

     In addition, Racial Loyalty has printed a number of encouraging letters from Holocaust-deniers affiliated with the Institute for Historical Review (IHR).  This pseudo-scholarly "Institute" is closely tied to Liberty Lobby, the most important anti-Semitic propaganda outfit in the U.S., founded and led by longtime Jew hater Willis Carto. The willingness of these Holocaust "revisionists" to endorse the Church of the Creator's genocidal rhetoric further betrays the lie that these propagandists are engaged in an "objective" search for truth. Among the
deniers who have written to the COTC tabloid are Martin A. Larson and Revilo P. Oliver, both of whom serve on the "Editorial Advisory Committee" of IHR's Journal of Historical Review, and Carlos Porter, the author of such books as Made in Russia: The Holocaust, distributed by IHR.

     In addition to these long-standing advocates of the Holocaust "revisionist" cause, a more recent associate of the IHR, David Cole, published a letter in the July 1989 issue of Racial Loyalty. The producer of a grotesque 1992 IHR video about the Auschwitz concentration camp, Cole wrote to the COTC. "I am very happy to become a member of the Church of the Creator.... Creativity gives my Race meaning and, therefore, gives my whole life meaning....  My work as a video producer puts me in touch with many other White Men who are looking to wrestle away the mass media from its Jew controllers and use the media to further the goals of the White Race." However, Cole's more recent prominence in IHR circles, which seek to mask the anti-Semitic intent of their propaganda, is directly attributable to his claim of being Jewish.

     Nonetheless, COTC has also made a number of enemies in the typically fractious extremist community. The most vociferous of these detractors include the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, led by "Pastor" Thom Robb; the Knights, who dress up their racist and anti-Semitic agenda with David Duke-inspired euphemisms promoting "White, Christian values," despise the Church of the Creator's virulent rejection of Christianity. An equally hostile feud has taken place between Ben Klassen and Harold Covington, a North Carolina-based neo-Nazi whose most recent affiliation has been with a British right-wing terrorist group, Combat 18. The rivalry accounted for a bilious exchange of obscenities, taunts, and threats between the two hatemongers and their supporters. For example, the January 1992 Racial Loyalty printed, "AN OPEN LETTER TO THE JEW BASTARD [Covington] THAT SENT THE PORNOGRAPHIC POST CARD CONDEMNING OUR PONTIFEX MAXIMUS THROUGH THE MAIL!...if I could ever be so lucky to meet you, I promise I'll trim your wick."

Death of the High Priest

     The sale of the COTC property was virtually the last public act by Klassen; for the last six months of 1992, he limited his contact with supporters to periodic letters announcing the abrupt dismissal or sudden elevation of a new member as "Pontifex Maximus." On August 6, 1993, Klassen committed suicide by consuming four bottles of sleeping pills. His body (along with a hand-written suicide note) was discovered on August 8 by his daughter.  The farewell letter justified his act by referring to chapter 59 of The White Man's Bible, which describes suicide as "an honorable and dignified way to die for any...of a number of reasons, such as having come to the decision that life is no longer worthwhile."

Charges of Extreme Violence

     Two recent cases on the West Coast are worthy of examination in order to illustrate the nature and consequences of the COTC program of violent hate.

The Los Angeles Plot

     On July 15, 1993, federal and local police agents in Los Angeles, California, arrested eight individuals, some of whom had ties to COTC. These individuals were accused of plotting to instigate a race war by bombing the First African Methodist Episcopal Church_a major Black religious institution in South Central Los Angeles -- and by assassinating Rodney King, the victim of a notorious videotaped beating by white police officers.  According to court documents, the King murder was to have taken place on August 4, the sentencing date for two policemen convicted of federal civil rights violations in connection with the beating.

     The arrests, which culminated an 18-month investigation of right-wing extremist groups in Southern California, were made three weeks prior to the assassination date because at the time, one of the key suspects was allegedly preparing a letter bomb to be sent to an Orange County rabbi.  Additionally, police stated that the alleged conspirators had planned to target leaders of the NAACP and the National Urban League; Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan; the Rev. Al Sharpton, rap music stars Eazy-E and members of the group Public Enemy; as well as unspecified "Jewish leaders."

     During the arrests, police seized pipe bombs and machine guns, as well as racist paraphernalia including Confederate and Nazi flags, and a framed portrait of Adolf Hitler. Of the eight people arrested, only one, Christopher David Fisher, was specifically charged with conspiracy to destroy the First A.M.E. church. Five other adults were charged with weapons offenses: Geremy Rineman, 22; Jill Scarborough, 22; Josh Lee, 23; Chris Nadal, 35; and Doris Nadal, 42. Two unidentified juveniles were also arrested on unspecified charges_according to Time magazine, however, one of the minors had been charged with a pipe-bomb attack against a "half Asian and half Mexican" member of the "Spur Posse," a gang of Lakewood, California, teenagers who awarded points among themselves for sexual conquests

     Fisher, the son of a grade-school teacher and a computer-science instructor, was the leader of an obscure Skinhead gang, the Fourth Reich Skins. Rineman, an associate of Metzger's White Aryan Resistance, had been featured in WAR, the Metzger monthly tabloid, after he was paralyzed in a brawl with Black and Latino youths Scarborough, Rineman's girlfriend, had written to another Metzger publication, White Sisters, distributed by the Aryan Women`s League, in 1991. The couple also wrote COTC's Racial Loyalty together in May 1992, stating, "After searching through many organizations...we are now proud to say that we are new members of a program and creed that will bring about the salvation and redemption of the White Race. As Creators we now know that we can give our all to a real movement that will stop at nothing until we have a Whiter and Brighter World. We are now working hard to start a strong chapter out here in Southern California. We have started recruiting many of our friends...."

     Ironically, among these newly recruited friends, Rineman and Scarborough were responsible for bringing into the COTC the FBI informant who foiled their alleged terroristic plot. A man who -- according to press accounts -- presented himself in extremist circles as "Rev. Joe Allen" wrote in the May 1992 issue of Racial Loyalty, "I would like to express my thanks to Jill and Geremy VonRineman [sic], our wounded warrior, for showing me to the light of Creativity.... As a newly ordained minister of the COTC. I will dedicate myself to the cause and encourage others to join our movement. I am moving my base of operations to Southern California to work with Jill and Geremy and others that they have recruited, but I am willing to give assistance wherever it can be used."

     After the arrests of Rineman, Scarborough, and their associates, Metzger wrote in WAR that he had suspected Allen's connection to the FBI over three years ago. Perhaps the WAR leader shared his concerns with Rineman, for he and Allen began publicly feuding, though Allen continued to use COTC as the base for his activities. In an issue of Racial Loyalty published only days before the arrests, Allen wrote, "I am continuing to spread the C.O.T.C. philosophy of purifying mind and body for a whiter and brighter California by training and educating young Skinheads at our training center.  Unfortunately, a former C O.T.C. associate, who has never accomplished anything for the white race except getting himself shot and paralyzed by a mud, has made himself an obstacle to our success by spreading vicious lies about me in the local area for his own childish motives.... I would like to urge any white patriot who has not contacted me because of something that spoiled brat said about me, to meet with me and let me show them documents I have acquired which prove that these lies are not true."

     Current COTC leader Rick McCarty entered into the fray by writing, "Rev. Joe Allen has been a tremendous help to this organization.... In fact, he has never turned down a request from this office.  Rev. Joe Allen has always been there for us and he will be there for you...call him...enough said."  When questioned about Allen's FBI work in the July 21 issue of The Toronto Sun, McCarty said, "He sent up $500 [U.S.] to help bail out our group in Toronto.... For an FBI agent he's been a big help. I wish we had 100 more like him."

     Nonetheless, McCarty took pains to distance himself from the plot in which his group had become entangled. Denying that he had advocated violence against the African-Americans targeted for assassination, the COTC leader told the NW Florida Daily News, "We support Rodney King because the police that beat him will beat us.... And we support Louis Farrakhan because he's a black separatist." (Ben Klassen had been less enthusiastic in his assessment of the Nation of Islam leader; the July 1989 Racial Loyalty excerpted a wire service article on Farrakhan under the headline, "Do We Really Want to Negotiate With This Nigger?")

Significance of the Skinhead Connection

     Members of the Fourth Reich Skins not arrested in connection with the alleged conspiracy also tried to disentangle themselves from the widening gyre of terrorism. In an interview printed in the August 1 Las Vegas Review-Journal, a Skinhead girl explained, "We may have prejudices...but I don't want to start a war."  Denials  notwithstanding, however, the charges against the eight could signify a disturbing tendency among neo-Nazi Skinheads[1] to act upon more ambitious and organized violent schemes either by working with or by taking inspiration from older, more established hate groups such as WAR and the COTC.

     Thus far, only two defendants, Christian and Doris Nadal, have been brought to trial in connection with these charges. On October 1, 1993, Christian Nadal was convicted on 16 counts of selling and transferring illegal weapons, for which he could receive a maximum sentence of 145 years in prison. Doris Nadal, acquitted of three charges, was found guilty on a single conspiracy count, for which she could receive a five year sentence. A ninth defendant, charged after the July 15 arrests, Christopher Berwick, 49, pleaded guilty in late September to conspiring to manufacture and sell approximately 16 Sten machine gun receiver tubes for gun kits provided by Christian Nadal; Berwick faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.  As of October 1993, the other six defendants remain in jail awaiting trial.

The Tacoma Plot

     On July 26, 1993, police arrested two Washington state residents. Jeremiah Gordon Knesal (a reported leader of the COTC) and Wayne Paul Wooten, both 19, for shoplifting at a mall parking lot in Salinas California During a search of Knesal's car, the officers uncovered three pipe bombs, four loaded long-barrel weapons, military apparel, ammunition, wigs, climbing gear, white supremacist literature and a page from a Portland, Oregon, telephone book listing Jewish agencies and synagogues.

     Under subsequent questioning by the FBI, Knesal confessed to his involvement in the July 20 bombing of an NAACP office in Tacoma, Washington. According to the FBI, Knesal also implicated Mark Frank Kowaalski (aka Mark Stevenson), 24, an ex-convict and member of the Skinhead group American Front, in the Tacoma bombing. Kowaalski was arrested the same day in Seattle and was charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a destructive device. Agents reported that the Skinhead ringleader possessed "physical evidence" linking all three suspects to the bombing.

     Authorities stated that the Tacoma firebombing was part of a larger plot to attack Jewish and African American institutions, military installations (particularly those housing submarines), gay and lesbian gathering places, and radio and television stations.  The three also reportedly planned to assassinate two rap music performers, Ice Cube and Ice-T.

     In addition to Kowaalski's association with American Front, Knesal described himself to the FBI as Washington state director of the Church of the Creator.  His COTC membership card was among the white supremacist paraphernalia found at the time of his arrest.

     COTC has figured prominently in Northern California recently, too, due to the distribution of Racial Loyalty in Berkeley, Piedmont, and Oakland. In Berkeley, police have speculated publicly that COTC members may be linked to swastika graffiti painted on a Judaica store, "Afikomen," on July 18; on June 27, copies of the COTC pamphlet "On the Brink of a Bloody Race War: With the White Race Targeted for Extinction" were left on the doorsteps of the shop, as well as at several other businesses and homes in the area.

     Following the Tacoma bombing, McCarty for the second time in two weeks felt the need to distance himself from the actions of some of his West Coast followers. "These kids are crazy, aren't they" he told The San Francisco Chronicle. "We don't promote any type of violence whatsoever. We do, however, want to repatriate the colored races back to their own countries and stop immigration and so forth, just like the [U.S.] government used to move Indians around, we want to do the same thing."

     As of October 1993, the three Skinheads currently remain in police custody awaiting trial; in addition to the charge filed against Kowaalski relating to a "destructive device," Knesal and Wooten have been arraigned on three counts of manufacturing and possessing explosive devices, felony offenses carrying a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine on each count.

The Search for a New High Priest

     To round out the picture of COTCs leadership struggle, the following is a review of efforts by Klassen and his chosen successors to maintain control and direction of the organization.

Heirs Apparent: 1–Rudy "Butch" STANKO

     Klassen announced in February 1990 that his successor as Pontifex Maximus would be Rudy "Butch" STANKO, whom he described to COTC followers as an "outstanding man, who has been tested by fire and torture, by success and adversity."

     STANKO, 46, was at one time owner of the Nebraska Beef Packer and Cattle King companies. He held contracts worth $20 million to supply ova 18 million pounds of ground beef to public school cafeterias until the NBC news program "First Camera" reported in 1983 that the meat was produced under unsanitary conditions. (Racial Loyalty later alleged that the series, since canceled, was "probably set up specifically and for no other reason than to smear and slander Rudy.") The U.S. Departments of Justice and Agriculture then investigated STANKO, and the meat magnate was convicted in 1984 of six violations of the Federal Meat Inspection Act. He was sentenced to six years in prison and ordered to pay a $70,000 fine.

     STANKO apparently came to Klassen's attention while in prison as the author of The Score, an intensely anti-Semitic book which details how STANKO's meat-packing corporation was destroyed by a Zionist conspiracy. The 389-page tome opens with an un-Creatorly, though predictably hateful, epigraph: "This book is dedicated to Jesus Christ. He was the first to tell The Score about the conspiracy of the Sanhedrin and its followers. For this they crucified him." The book proceeds to cover such topics as "Zionism"; "The Sanhedrin" and "Who Rules America." It concludes with a reprise of the megalomaniacal chestnut, "the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion."

     The felonious abattoir operator welcomed his appointment as Klassen's successor by writing in the February 1990 Racial Loyalty:

     It is a great honor and a supreme challenge to be selected as the next Pontifex Maximus of the Church of the Creator.... It is my avowed purpose to provide the necessary leadership, organizational and promotional talents to...smash the tyrannical Jewish network once and for all time. It is my hope and dedicated goal to bring this about in the next decade, the last decade history has allowed us for the final showdown.

     But, it was not meant to be. Though released from a federal penitentiary in December 1991, STANKO was arrested for speeding in his Nebraska hometown on February 3, 1992. He was also charged with obstructing a police operation, criminal mischief, and driving with an expired license.  After being taken to the local jail, STANKO reportedly wrestled with officers while they attempted to inventory his property during the booking procedure. He was then taken to a hospital, where he broke a light fixture with a crutch; when police entered his room, STANKO allegedly tried to assault an officer with the crutch.

     The Pontifex Maximus-elect was released on bond the following evening. Though a February 11, 1992, Ashville Citizen-Times article reported that STANKO was scheduled to assume COTC leadership the following month. it also noted that a Montana parole officer "said STANKO had told him that he was not interested in taking over the church." The Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Star-Herald confirmed in a March 5, 1992, article that "STANKO said recently he is no longer a reverend in the church." The Star-Herald added that STANKO had filed a $1.375 million lawsuit alleging police brutality and civil rights violations in connection with his February arrest. STANKO's lawsuit was dismissed by a district court on May 29. 1992. He appealed this decision to the Nebraska Supreme Court, which upheld the lower court ruling in November 1992.  With respect to the criminal charges pending against him, STANKO planned to enter a plea bargain agreement in October 1993, in which he will be sentenced for misdemeanor destruction of property and speeding infraction violations.

     Shortly after these incidents, it became clear that STANKO would not be taking over the leadership of COTC.  As Klassen scrambled to find a new successor, he referred to his first attempt as the "Rudy STANKO fiasco." STANKO nonetheless addressed another temporary Pontifex Maximus, Mark Wilson, in the November 1992 Racial Loyalty: "I want to congratulate you on being appointed the Pontifex Maximus and the new leader of the CHURCH OF THE CREATOR.... I realize the tremendous responsibility placed on your shoulders, and you have my wholehearted support. If I can be of any assistance in the Rocky Mountain West, please do not hesitate to drop me a line."

Heirs Apparent: 2–Charles Altvater

     In early May 1992, Klassen announced that his new successor would be Charles Edward Altvater, 31, of Baltimore, Maryland. Unlike the notorious STANKO, Altvater was almost completely unknown prior to this sudden promotion. His only previous mention in Racial Loyalty was a January 1989 letter to the editor, in which he wrote:

     I go back to college in January and will soon have my degree in electronics. The C.O.T.C. gave me the incentive to make myself successful so I can truly be an asset to our Cause. I promise to have a Church of the Creator under construction here within the next 3-5 years and will be spreading Creativity for the rest of my days.  Last but not least, I'll be getting married later this year and would very much like Pontifex Maximus |Klassen] to perform the services....

     Only a month after the Altvater appointment, Klassen changed his mind, naming Mark Wilson, a Milwaukee Skinhead, as the new Pontifex Maximus. According to Klassen, Altvater accepted the demotion  without rancor.

     Apparently still intent on spreading the work of "Creativity," Altvater came to public attention once more on December 14, 1992, when he was indicted in Baltimore on 16 criminal counts, including attempted murder, reckless endangerment, possession and manufacture of explosives, and destruction of property. According to the indictment, Altvater allegedly placed a bomb on the porch of a Baltimore County police officer's home; he was also alleged to have bombed a state police car on the same day. There were no reported injuries in either explosion.

     A search of Altvater's home later revealed 92 quarter sticks of dynamite. He currently is serving two sentences in connection with the incidents: a 5-year term for reckless endangerment and a 20-year sentence (seven years of which were suspended) relating to the pipe bombing charges.

Heirs Apparent: 3–Mark Wilson (aka Brandon O'Rourke)

     Mark Wilson, 25, first came to the attention of observers of the radical right as a member of the Wisconsin Skinhead gang SHAM -- Skinhead Army of Milwaukee – also referred to as the Northern Hammerskins. He was introduced to Racial Loyalty subscribers as Klassen's successor in June 1992 under the new name "Brandon O'Rourke"; the adoption of one or various pseudonyms by COTC members is quite common, as it is for many in the white supremacist movement, and it offers individuals the obvious advantage of eluding, at least temporarily, the scrutiny of law enforcement.

     Under Wilson/"O'Rourke's" six-month tenure, the Church of the Creator published only two issues of Racial Loyalty, neither of which showed the rhetorical intensity or palpable rage the tabloid exhibited under Klassen, but the local organization reportedly re-energized the Milwaukee Skinhead scene. Wilson also established a close relationship with the growing COTC presence in Canada, particularly in the Toronto area.

     Perhaps sensing, rightly though belatedly, that the Milwaukee Skinheads' propensity for reckless behavior would spin out of his ability to control, Klassen abruptly dismissed Wilson as COTC chief in January 1993. Unlike STANKO or Altvater, however, Wilson, who was the first Klassen-successor to actually take control of the "religion," did not go gently into the good-night of hate-group obscurity.  According to the Klanwatch Intelligence Report, Wilson loyalists even attempted a last minute "coup" against the new, and current, leader, Rick McCarty, during an early meeting with him at a Milwaukee hotel. The plan was accidentally thwarted when police arrested three members of the Wilson faction on concealed weapons charges in the hotel parking lot.

     Though Wilson's effort to retain power failed, he remains active and disgruntled. After his falling out with Klassen, the former Skinhead spread rumors of the COTC founder's senility, and he reportedly even asked WAR leader Tom Metzger to take control of the group; Metzger, who eulogized Klassen in an August 16, 1993, phone message, has shown no
inclination to grant Wilson's alleged request.

Heir Apparent: 4–Rick McCarty

     Richard Lane McCarty, 39, was utterly unknown in hate group circles before Klassen announced in January 1993 that he would take over COTC, and that its headquarters were moving to Niceville, Florida, a tiny community near the Gulf Coast resort town of Pensacola. McCarty's professional background apparently includes a career in telemarketing; Klassen's introductory letter alleges that the new leader had earned a Ph.D., and had a background in business and psychology. However, court records reportedly indicate that McCarty was arrested in 1985 on charges, since dropped, that he operated a telemarketing scam in Birmingham, Alabama, by claiming to sell distributorships for a soft drink company.

     In March 1993, McCarty sent letters to Racial Loyalty subscribers announcing that he would appear that month on the nationally syndicated Sally Jessy Raphael talk show. The letters stated: "See Dr. McCarty P.M. and Executive Director of the C.O.T.C. fight it out with the Jews and Muds.  Even though the show was stacked with half-breeds, gays and muds Dr. McCarty held his own and pulled no punches.... We now have a leader to carry us into battle with the enemy. RAHOWA."

     McCarty did appear on the program with three fellow white supremacists -- former Ku Klux Klansman Scott Shephard; Kirk Lyons, a one-time National Alliance member who heads CAUSE, a white supremacist legal defense agency; and an unidentified Skinhead woman and Christian "Identity" adherent. These extremists were joined by a handful of comparably benighted Black separatists.

     Though it is doubtful that McCarty made much of a national impact as a result of his television debut, local newspapers began taking note of the white supremacist in their midst the following summer. A July 17, 1993, NW Florida Daily News article reported that McCarty was stopped by Niceville police on July 1, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. The Pontifex Maximus refused to sign his citation and is reportedly still contesting the charge.

The Palm Beach Post quoted McCarty on August 2, 1993, using rhetoric more subdued than Klassen's. He told the paper, "People are finally waking up to the fact that the white man is going to have no country of his own. We don't have nothing against anybody. We just want to repatriate the blacks and Jews back to their countries of origin." The Post also reported that COTC has no temple or compound in Niceville, "but it does have a warehouse that holds $500,000 in white supremacist pamphlets, newspapers and books. They are distributed in all 50 states, and 37 foreign countries, McCarty said."

     McCarty's most recent letter to Racial Loyalty subscribers was a eulogy of Ben Klassen. McCarty wrote: Three weeks ago Mr. Klassen came to visit with me in Niceville, Florida. To chart where the COTC had been and where we are going in the future. Even though we converse on the phone a couple of times a week, we had not physically seen each other since January.

     When Mr. Klassen arrived and stepped out of his car I held out my hand to him. Mr. Klassen surprised me by pushing my hand away and gave me a big bear hug instead.... It was at that time I become aware of the bond we had formed, of the dreams and aspirations that we shared. Many times I have asked myself why I would take over such an awesome task and headaches of running the COTC?  Each the time the same answer echoes back, "Mr. Ben Klassen". 

     ...I am still unable at this time to say good-bye to Ben.... Ben came into my life like a coma, lit up the sky, and then moved on. 

     Next month we will have some articles going back to our roots so as not to lose track of who we are, where we are going, and the goals we plan to      accomplish. Every ending has a new beginning -- Lets begin.

More COTC Violence: The Saga of George David Loeb

     On May 17, 1991, George Loeb, 36, a COTC "reverend," killed Petty Officer 3rd Class Harold J. Mansfield, Jr., 22, an African-American Persian Gulf War veteran from Oklahoma city, Oklahoma. The murder took place in the parking lot of a shopping center in Neptune Beach, Florida, where the two individuals lived.

     According to press accounts at the time of the murder, the incident occurred when Loeb's car made a left turn into the parking lot, almost sideswiping Mansfield's car, which was backing out.  Trouble began when Mansfield honked his horn at Loeb; an argument ensued, but Mansfield pulled away. Loeb then pulled into a convenience store, where, while buying two six-packs of beer, he handed the cashier a business card that read "White People Awaken. Save the White Race." The cashier told reporters that Loeb had also angrily shouted his racist views throughout the store.

     The whole incident might have ended there, but Mansfield tragically decided to return to the parking lot. accompanied by a friend and armed with a brick, to confront Loeb. When Mansfield and the COTC member saw one another, their argument resumed.  Mansfield brought out his brick; Loeb produced a .25-caliber semiautomatic handgun. According to newspaper accounts, Mansfield retreated at this point, but Loeb fired a single bullet into Mansfield's chest, blowing the veteran back into his car.

     Loeb continued to fire his gun, apparently at Mansfield's companion, who was running toward the grocery store to call for help. By the time the man returned to the car, Mansfield was already near death. "I was telling him [Mansfield] not to die on me," he told reporters. "He was my best friend."

     Though this was certainly the most graphic manifestation of Loeb's COTC-derived racist philosophy, it was not the first In November 1990, he had been arrested after an African-American woman told police that she and her daughter had been followed by Loeb, who had called the woman a racist name and had threatened to shoot her. The following January, he reportedly started a fistfight with a Black neighbor the morning after he had been arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest. During this period, the tenant association at Loeb's condominium complex attempted unsuccessfully to have him and his wife evicted.  "The tense situation can only get worse, culminating in possible violent action," the tenants wrote to Loeb's landlord.

     Loeb himself had recorded his violent beliefs in a number of writings over the years. For example, only seven weeks before the murder, he wrote a letter to The Fort Pierce Tribune, in which he stated:

     To you, your readers and all of those quoted [in a Tribune article], let me just say this -- WAKE UP! There is no need to judge each individual nigger. We do not have the time.... It is your obvious intention to reinforce the mistaken impressions of the ignorant. This is to the detriment of the besieged white community. It is also why we publish and distribute Racial Loyalty: to offset the deliberate lies and distortions of the jewish media and to motivate White people to clean up this mess themselves since they cannot count on you, your paper or your police for any help.

     Loeb had also once told a reporter that, "The only thing they [Blacks] can do is get in my face, and that's a mistake.... If my back's against the wall, I won't run. I have to do what I have to do." In all, police seized 1,600 pages of personal correspondence and racist propaganda from Loeb's apartment, of which only 15 pages were introduced at his trial; according to news accounts, the most significant of these documents was a handwritten note to a member of the Ku Klux Klan in which Loeb advised: "The frequent use of the word nigger should lead to a widespread and violent black uprising that should give whites (and possibly police) the opportunity to kill large numbers of them with impunity. It is our feeling as Creators [i.e., COTC members] that shrinking the numbers of blacks worldwide is one of the highest priorities."

     Within hours of the killing, Loeb and his wife Barbara, 31, had moved out of their condominium, and had fled the state. Though police reported that Barbara Loeb was spotted two weeks later in Wisconsin, where members of her family lived, the fugitive couple was arrested on June 6, 1991, in Poughkeepsie, New York. Police tracked the two down to a grocery store where Loeb had allegedly assaulted a security guard who had caught him trying to steal a $3.35 package of turkey breast. When the arriving officers searched the Loebs' car, they found two smoke bombs, a .22-caliber rifle with a scope and extra magazines, a 12 gauge shotgun, and approximately one thousand rounds of assorted ammunition. Additionally, Barbara Loeb's purse contained a handgun and ammunition.

The Law Catches Up with the Loebs

     Barbara Loeb was sentenced to one year in jail on weapons possession charges; she served at least nine months of her term in New York State. George Loeb was extradited to Florida in December 1991 to face murder charges for killing Mansfield. During the trial, which began the following July, Loeb chimed that he was acting in self-defense when he shot the sailor; he also told jurors that he had considered fleeing to Canada because it is a "predominantly white country," where he might expect to be treated more impartially. Regardless, on July 29, a jury of nine whites and three African-Americans, after only three hours of deliberation, found Loeb guilty of first-degree murder.

     The night after his conviction, Loeb attempted suicide by slashing his forearms with the blade of a disposable razor included in his prison toiletries kit. By the time police discovered his injuries, apparently only minutes after he inflicted them, Loeb had lost 20% of his blood, and had gone into shock. A police report stated that Loeb told officers while his wounds were being treated that, "I want to die because the whole world is an asshole." As a result of his suicide attempt, Loeb's sentencing was moved up one week, to August 12; he received a life sentence with no chance of parole for 25 years.

     Members of the COTC predictably hailed Loeb as a hero and martyr. The August 1991 edition of Racial Loyalty, for example, printed a letter from "A Pro-White Activist" under the heading "Self-Defense is Our Right" which stated: "[Loeb was supposed to have been just another non-publicized statistic in the wave of the black/mud/Jew criminal terror against Whites -- how evil and racist of him to spoil The Plan. SELF-DEFENSE is our right, and they will never be able to destroy us Whites if we keep pulling these stunts"' In the same issue, the tabloid reprinted a Tampa Tribune account of the murder under the headline, "More publicity for the COTC! White Man, spread the word of Creativity. Words are powerful weapons."

     At least publicly, however, Klassen shrank from connecting his organization with the Loeb murder. By most accounts, it was this incident in particular which motivated the Pontifex Maximus's desperate attempts to disentangle himself from the COTC.  Indeed, when questioned on the subject by Mirabella, Klassen said, "I am no more responsible for that than the pope is responsible for all the Catholic felons in prison.... Not at all." The reporter interviewing Klassen then pointed out that another COTC member, Steve Thomas, who was charged with aiding and abetting Loeb's flight from Florida, was currently living at the North Carolina compound. "Oh," Klassen replied, "He's leaving tomorrow."

     The first person arrested in connection with the murder of Harold Mansfield was Steve Gabott Thomas, 47, who was charged in late May 1991 with being an accessory after the fact -- a felony potentially carrying a sentence of five years in prison – in the slaying. Thomas, a boatyard worker, was apparently the only other member of the COTC in Loeb's community. According to police, Thomas helped Loeb pack to leave town, then told detectives he hadn't seen the assailant. He was then booked into the Duval County Jail under a $100,000 bond.

     Thomas pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a year's probation in August 1992. He reportedly received the light sentence in exchange for providing information to law enforcement which indirectly assisted in Loeb's capture.

     Despite his alleged "ratting" against Loeb, Thomas remained prominent in COTC circles. In early 1992, he served as editor of Racial Loyalty, using the pseudonym "Max Yeager." When Klassen temporarily appointed Mark Wilson as Pontifex Maximus, Thomas moved to Milwaukee, where he shared an apartment with the 24-year old Wilson.

     Another significant incident in Thomas's biography resurfaced at the time of the Loeb murder trial. According to the Florida Times-Union, Thomas had been one of four Army soldiers charged with the rape and murder of a Vietnamese woman, Phan Thi Mao, in 1966. (This crime formed the basis for Brian De Palma's 1989 film, Casualties of War.) Thomas was convicted for the rape/murder in 1976, and sentenced to life in prison. However, on appeal the sentence was reduced to eight years, based on Thomas's "good military record"; he eventually served four years.

Beyond the Horizon: The COTC Abroad

COTC activists have established ties with violent extremists in countries as widespread as Canada, Sweden, England, and South Africa. To illustrate the nature of these foreign connections, the following is an examination of COTC activities in two of these countries.

Canada

     As is the case with the COTC on the U.S. West Coast, the Church of the Creator in Canada for the most part is comprised of neo-Nazi Skinheads. The group became active in Canada in 1990 when it set up post office boxes in Scarborough, Agincourt, and Woodbridge, Ontario. The head of these Ontario chapters is George Burdi (aka Rev. Eric Hawthorne). Burdi, 23, is a college-educated Skinhead; his menacing looks and relative sophistication have earned him appearances on the Geraldo Rivera and Sally Jessy Raphael talk shows, as well as MTV News. In addition to his COTC affiliation, Burdi is active with Heritage Front -- Canada's most notorious hate group, led by Wolfgang Droege. (Droege is an ex-convict and former member of David Duke's Knights of the Ku Klux Klan who in 1992 sponsored rallies at which WAR leader Tom Metzger and his lieutenant Dennis Mahon spoke.) Burdi has been credited by Canadian law enforcement and other observers of the radical right with bringing a younger, more militant contingent into the more established hate group. Burdi also serves as lead singer of the Skinhead rock group RaHoWa (the term, taken from "racial holy war," which is the COTC slogan).

     Burdi spoke of his music career in the August 18, 1993, Toronto Star: "Music is the ultimate form of bringing a message to the masses.... Youth seek role models through musicians. They say, "Wow, I love this band and if this is the opinion of the band, then it is my opinion too."' The self-styled performing artist has shown no reticence in expressing his opinions through the vehicle of song. One of his biggest crowd pleasers is a racist re-write of the Nancy Sinatra tune, "These Boots Are Made for Walkin." In RaHoWa's rendition, Burdi squawks, "These boots are made for stompin'/And that's just what they'll do/One of these days these boots/Are gonna stomp all over Jews."

     To distribute RaHoWa's medleys of hate, which blatantly violate Canada's strict anti-racist laws, Burdi established Resistance Records, a music label comparable to France's marketers of Skinhead music, Rebelles Europeens -- RaHoWa's former label – and Germany's Rock-o-Rama.[2] Resistance Records is operated by a COTC member in Detroit, Michigan. (Canada's statutes prohibiting publication of hate propaganda also account for Burdi's loyalty to COTC, because without Racial Loyalty, he would have no means of publishing or disseminating his propaganda north of the border.)  Resistance Records has also signed the racist bands Nordic Thunder, Aggravated Assault, Aryan, and the Voice. "The market's phenomenal," Burdi told the Toronto Star. "We have a monopoly on it and it's virtually untapped." He astutely added that Canada's restrictions on hate speech could inadvertently spread the music's appeal. "Music is fed on controversy. Ignore us and we get huge because we can develop unhindered. Attack us and we get huge because you create controversy and the youth want to hear us. Either way, we win."

     Burdi, moreover, is one of the most regular contributors to Racial Loyalty; over the past two years, regardless of who was serving as "Pontifex Maximus," Burdi's letters and essays -- printed under the
"Hawthorne" alias -- have appeared in virtually every issue of the tabloid.

     Not content with "mere" hate speech, however, Burdi has organized his followers, who number approximately three to four dozen, into the most active and dangerous COTC faction in North America. To this end, the group conducts weekly paramilitary sessions under the direction of COTC "Security" chief Eric Fischer, 29, a former member of the elite Canadian Forces Airborne Regiment.  Fischer's training program is reportedly so grueling that in 1992 one COTC recruit collapsed and died; no charges were filed in connection with the incident.

     The law appears to have caught up with Fischer, however, as a result of his bizarre effort to avenge the alleged theft of a computer, complete with extremist mailing lists and correspondence from a fellow extremist. In the early morning hours of June 9, 1993, police arrested the COTC officer, along with his brother, Elkar (aka Carl) Fischer, 22, and Drew Maynard, 21, charging the three with kidnapping, forcible confinement, and assault causing bodily harm for their alleged role in abducting a Heritage Front member whom they suspected of stealing the computer. Carl Fischer and Maynard were additionally charged with threatening death and bodily harm.

     This criminal episode, which graphically illustrates the violence-prone nature of the group, began when the victim of these acts was reportedly taken on a three-hour ride through metropolitan Toronto, during which, he told police, he was handcuffed and tied, thrown on top of a sleeping bag in the back of a white van, and beaten. His assailants also placed a plastic bag over his head, and allegedly threatened to inject him with a poisonous cleaning solution: Beaten, bleeding, and disoriented, the victim was dropped off by his abductors at St. Michael's Hospital.

     At approximately one o'clock the following morning, police surrounded the four-bedroom bungalow that was home to the three suspects, as well as George Burdi and two other COTC members, and took the accused men into custody. Law enforcement agents also seized a 12-gauge shotgun, a .22-caliber pistol, and a .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun during the arrest. The three accused are currently out on bail -- $500 of which was provided by FBI agent "Joe Allen," the COTC member who later provided evidence leading to the arrest of nine white supremacists in Los Angeles.

     Meanwhile, as a result of these charges, the two Fischer brothers have been suspended from the Queen's Own Rifles reserve militia until the resolution of the criminal investigation against them.  Additionally, the Canadian military's special investigation unit is looking into claims by Wolfgang Droege that more than two dozen Heritage Front members currently serve in the armed forces.

     George Burdi himself has been the subject of criminal charges in connection with a street brawl between the COTC and anti-racist activists which occurred on June 18, 1993. According to police, Alicia Reckzin, 23, a member of the group Anti-Racist Action, received a concussion, a broken nose, and bruises when Burdi allegedly assaulted her outside the Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa. Burdi currently awaits trial, accused of assault causing bodily harm. A voice reportedly "described as Burdi's" recorded a description of the fight for the Heritage Front telephone line; in the recording he referred to a "tremendous victory last night."

South Africa

     According to the February 1992 edition of Searchlight, an "anti-fascist" magazine in Great Britain, two self-professed members of the Civil Cooperation Bureau (CCB), an undercover unit of the South African security police, fled to England after awaiting trial for over a year in connection with the bombing of a taxi line which injured 15 Black people. The two fugitives, Adrian Maritz and Henry Martin, reported that as CCB operatives, they were instructed by superiors to join the Church of the Creator in order to recruit South African racists into a "dirty war" against the African National Congress (ANC). The two COTC members also alleged that they had knowledge of "several operations through which large quantities of arms were delivered to the Zulu Inkatha Party"; the security force is reputed to have used armed Inkatha members in a "campaign of atrocities" waged in Black townships.

     Nelson Mandela, the leader of the ANC, had visited the two men in a South African hospital after they had gone on a hunger strike to protest their arrests. He declared himself "convinced they have very valuable information about the role of the National Intelligence Service and military intelligence, who instructed them to commit some heinous offences."

To date, further developments regarding these allegations remain unclear.

     Nonetheless, Searchlight also reported in the same issue that two other COTC activists, Jurgen Matthews White and Johannes Jurgens Grobbelaar, were killed in a gun battle with South African police while they were reportedly attempting to smuggle weapons and explosives into an alleged "survivalist" compound in Namibia. The two "Creators" were stopped by police suspicious that their vehicle had been stolen. According to the report, while being escorted to a nearby police station, the two detonated a smoke bomb and attempted to escape. Harper Woods, MI -- A North Carolina-based white supremacist group with strongholds in three Michigan cities targeted this Detroit suburb with racist leaflets, sparking an outcry Saturday from residents. Dozens of tabloid-size newspapers titled "Racial Loyalty" were left after dark late last week on the driveways of homes in several neighborhoods by local members of "Church of the Creator."  The newspaper called itself the "spearhead of the white racial holy war."

City Manager James Leidlein said Harper Woods police received several complaints about the leaflets, which listed a Wayne telephone number and post office boxes in Warren and Sterling Heights. But police could do little more than arrest the distributors on littering charges, he said.  No arrests had been made Saturday.

During the months before he allegedly bombed a Zion roller rink last summer, Randall Scott Anderson traveled to Milwaukee on several occasions to meet with representatives of a white supremacist group based there, police said Wednesday.

A clearer picture of Anderson's neo-Nazi contacts also began to emerge as a federal magistrate refused a pretrial request by Anderson's attorney for a psychological evaluation of the teen.

Anderson, 19, was charged on Sunday with the June 14, 1992, bombing of the Park Roller Rink in Zion-a weekend gathering place for black teens and church groups.

Police say that during the months preceding the attack, Anderson corresponded with several white supremacist groups, including the Milwaukee-based Church of the Creator .

Formerly based in Otto, N.C., the Church of the Creator was founded by 72-year-old Ben Klassen , a retired real estate developer and former Florida legislator. Klassen moved the church to Milwaukee last March, and it has been active in Wisconsin and the Chicago area distributing racist literature, police said.

Copies of the group's newsletter, "Racial Loyalty," were found among Anderson's possessions in his parents' Winthrop Harbor home during a weekend search by police.

The church is composed of white supremacists and goes by the belief that "you are the creator of your own church. You can create your own beliefs," said Lake County Sheriff's Lt. Chester Iwan.

Police believe Anderson met with group members several times, Iwan said, but he would not elaborate on those contacts. Federal authorities investigating the case said Anderson attended several church meetings and parties sponsored by the hate group's members.

Anderson also has been linked by correspondence to Thomas Metzger, leader of the San Diego-based White Aryan Resistance and neo-Nazi groups in Hayden Lake, Idaho, officials said.

But those ties were not discussed during the pretrial hearing in U.S District Court in Chicago, in which Magistrate W. Thomas Rosemond Jr. denied a request for Anderson to be examined by a court-appointed psychiatrist.

Anderson sat passively, dressed in a blue prison jumpsuit, as Rosemond said he would deny the request based on events at a hearing Sunday in which the youth had acted as his attorney.

"Mr. Anderson clearly understood those proceedings, as shown in his request to be placed in protective custody so that he would not have to share his cell with an African American," Rosemond said.

Deputy U.S. Atty. Patrick Murray then outlined Anderson's role in the bombing during direct examination of FBI Special Agent Judith Coughenour, who led the government's investigation.

Coughenour described how with a group of five or six friends Anderson had constructed a pipe bomb filled with matches and black powder, and how sometime after midnight on June 14 Anderson and one of the friends drove to the Park, where they spray-painted a racist message on a back wall of the building before lighting the bomb and throwing it through a front window.

No one was injured in the attack, which damaged a concession area inside the rink and destroyed several video games.

The hearing, however, did little to shed light on how Anderson, a youth described by teachers at Zion-Benton High School as "brilliant," became involved with white supremacist groups.

Rosemond ordered Anderson to be held while a grand jury reviews the case. Anderson's attorney, James Reilley, did not request bond for the teen, and Anderson was returned to the Metropolitan Correctional Center, where he has been held since Sunday.

Stephanie Hamilton was enraged when a white supremacist publication called Racial Loyalty was circulated in her Salt Lake City neighborhood.

"I don't want [Racial Loyalty] anywhere near my kids," said Mrs. Hamilton.

Mrs. Hamilton, who is half Schaghticoke Indian, said her anger was kindled by the newspaper's reference to American Indians as "red niggers" and "mudds."

The paper brought back feelings of disgust from years ago when she was a high-school sophomore in Connecticut. The bus she was riding was attacked by whites who threw metal objects through the windows and injured her best friend.

"I am more scared than angry," said Karen Wood, a neighbor who fears it will escalate racial tensions.

It is unclear how many papers were distributed, but they were found last month on porches along 600 East from Emerson Avenue to Liberty Park.

The papers were stamped with the insignia of the United White Working Class, a Salt Lake City organization; Group representatives declined to answer any questions.

Cosette Joesten, principal at Hawthorne Elementary, 1675 S. 600 East, said Mrs. Hamilton is the only parent who brought the paper to her attention so she doesn't know if it reached many in the community. But the principal was not pleased: "I got sick to my stomach."

"This is a clear example of the increased efforts of white supremacist groups to spread their message of hatred," said Ronald Coleman, Associate Vice President for Diversity and Faculty Development at the University of Utah. "They obviously see us [in the Salt Lake area] as a community vulnerable to the rise of skinheads and neo-Nazis and the like."

The 12-page newsletter was published in Otto, N.C., by The Church of the Creator, which preaches "the survival, expansion and advancement of the white race."

Ben Klassen , the 75-year-old leader of The Church of the Creator, said in a telephone interview he doesn't know any members of his church in Utah, but he believes he has an audience here.

John Foster of the Salt Lake City Police Department Intelligence Unit monitors publications that are inflammatory or a threat to the community. "This publication is clearly inflammatory and distasteful," he said. "But not illegal."

Mulberry -- Hailing Nazi Adolph Hitler as a great man and scorning Jesus Christ as a myth, an avowed white supremacist says he's building a church which will disseminate white-power messages.

Called the Church of the Creator, its founder, Ben Klassen, 63, of Lighthouse Point, Fla., says the religion is for white people only.  He says it considers blacks and Jews as two of America's greatest threats.

Klassen says he is now supervising construction of a church in the small Macon County community where people can practice the religion.

The church's literature says Hitler was one of the greatest men who ever lived and Jesus Christ is myth created by Jews to gain power.

Local black leaders say they do not fear Klassen and his church, and the regional director of the Jewish Anti-Defamation League calls Klassen a "kook."

Norman Olshansky, regional director of the ADL in Richmond, Va., said the league was monitoring Klassen, but said his major visibility thus far has been in press reports.

Olshansky said Klassen has disseminated anti-Semitic literature across the nation but no one knows how many people practice his beliefs or are ministers in his churches.

Mulberry, located less than three miles from the Georgia-North Carolina line, was chosen for a church site because Florida is in peril, Klassen said.

"I think south Florida is due for a lot of turmoil when bloody fighting breaks out," Klassen said.  "Actually, I expect the financial collapse of the entire country, and blood will be flowing in the streets.

Last week, Valrico resident Patricia Moorhead took what looked like a shopping advertiser from two neighborhood teen-agers who had found it on their street.  She unfurled it.

She realized that the 12-page tabloid newspaper, which mysteriously appeared on lawns and windshields in this integrated neighborhood in Hillsborough County, was clearly no shopper.

"It's Great To Be White!" read one slogan at the top of the publication, Racial Loyalty.

"Let them Wither on the Vine: They are not our kind, they are not our brothers and they are not our concern!" was the cover story headline.

To the right was a photo of a woman's face" "ANOTHER VICTIM of the Black/Mud/Jew Criminal Terror Against Whites," the headline read.  The item detailed the alleged murder of a California woman by a rabbi.

Moorhead was shocked and upset.  So were her neighbors.  She called the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.  Newspaper and television reporters rushed to the scene.  No one knew who distributed the papers, which also had been found in the Town 'N Country and Forest Hills in Tampa.  The newspaper had a North Carolina address, but, as Moorhead said last week, "I don't think someone would drive all the way down from North Carolina to do this."

Ben Klassen, publisher of Racial Loyalty and a former Florida state legislator, would have smiled.

Klassen wrote most of the articles in the newspaper.  He also founded the paper's publishing entity, the Church of the Creator, which is dedicated not to a deity but "to the survival, expansion and advancement of the white race."

"I don't know who distributed it," Klassen said in a telephone interview last week from his home in North Carolina.  "But I'm glad they did."

He said that his church does have members in the Tampa Bay area, that they include some white supremacist "skinheads" and that he probably could easily track down who delivered the papers in Valrico.

But he declined to identify the distributors, saying the "would be harassed; they might lose their jobs."

Mystery is part of Klassen's method of operation.  Racial Loyalty has turned up in several U.S. cities, including Denver and Austin, Texas.  The papers usually are distributed in the middle of the night, and the shock value is the same in most communities, said Stephen Goldman, director of the West Florida Region Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith in Tampa.

"People wonder: Was I picked out?  Do they know I'm Jewish?  It instills fear in the most insidious way," Goldman said.

Klassen is no mystery to the Anti-Defamation League, an organization founded to stop the defamation of Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all citizens.  The league has a two-page fact sheet about the church leader and author of several books, including The White Man's Bible.

"He's a crackpot," says Ira Gisson, regional director of the Anti-Defamation League in Norfolk, Va.  But a crackpot who has some impact.  "He is a prolific pamphleteer.  He gets distribution of his materials in specifically targeted areas.  He likes to try to get his White Man's Bible distributed in prisons -- in some cases he's been successful."

Klassen's reputation is well known by his neighbors in Otto, a tiny community in mountainous, western North Carolina near the Georgia state line.  Since he moved there in 1981 from Lighthouse Point, near Pompano Beach, Klassen has built a church and started a School for Gifted Boys.  The enrollment this year was four.

Recently, according to reporter Bob Scott, who has written about Klassen for the Asheville (N.C.) Citizen for eight years, "people who seem to resemble the skinheads have reportedly been seen around the church."

Area residents say Klassen generally keeps to himself.  There is no evidence he has participated in any kind of violence.  But his rhetoric, which lives through his church and publications, is viciously anti-Jewish, anti-African American, anti-Hispanic, and anti-any-other-race that is not Anglo-Saxon.  He calls non-white people "the mud races."  All minorities in the United States should be sent back "to their natural habitat," he says.  He calls Adolf Hitler "the greatest white men that ever lived."

Klassen, who also is anti-Christ, calls himself "Pontifex Maximus" (Latin for "high priest") in his church.  At 72, he says he soon will retire and has designated as his successor the "Reverend" Rudy "Butch" STANKO, who was convicted several years ago of selling rotten meat to public schools.  STANKO will take control of Klassen's organization as soon as he gets out of the federal peinitentiary.  That could be sometime this year, Klassen says.

He is exercising freedom of his religion -- the religion of white racial purity, Klassen says.  "What we''re trying to do is ... I presume you're white.  Do you have children?  How would you like to have a world similar to Harlem?  That's what we're trying to avoid."

Hostility Magnet

Klassen spent the first six years of his life in the Ukraine, in a large Mennonite colony.  he says he is of German descent, they youngest of five children.  The Mennonite colony was prosperous and happy until the Bolshevik Revoloution.  During the early '20s, Mennonites were persecuted by Communists, who were, Klassen says, secretly inspirted by the Jews to revolt in 1917.

"The Mennonites were raped and murdered.  They took all our grain.  People starved to death.  When I was 3 years old, we were having dinner, my dad was dividing black bread among the family.  It was half a slice."

His family emigrated to Mexico in 1924, and later to Saskatchewan, Canada.  When he took an ancient history course in college, he says, "I studied ancient Greeks and Romans.  I discovered there had been thousands of religions that had come and gone.  I came to the conclusion that our Christian religion was one of those -- based on supersition, gullibility, ignorance.  I didn't believe in it anymore."

Klassen settled in Florida in 1958, rushing to the political right.  In 1966, he was elected to the Florida House of Representatives, representing an area in Broward County.  After one term, he says, "I guess I was a little too radical for the Republican party.  On the second go-around, they didn't support men, and I was out."

In 1968, he served as the Florida chairman of George Wallace's American Independent Party, when Wallace ran for president.  But Klassen soon rejected both Wallace and a membership in the John Birch Society, saying both had become too liberal.

Already known for his anti-Jewish and anti-black views, Klassen decided no existing organization or religion suited him.  He established the now-defunct Nationalist White Party.  In 1973, he created the Church of the Creator, headquartered in Lighthouse Point.  He wrote several books, including The White Man's Bible, and Nature's Eternal Religion, and sold them in his American Opinion Bookstore in Pompano Beach.

The contents of his books, from which he quotes at length in Racial Loyalty, are generally considered too inaccurate or offensive to publish in daily newspapers.  He said during the interview that white people must regain control of the country and their destiny.  He believes the United States must stop subsidizing Israel and all "mud countries," and cut off non-whites in this country as well.  He has no mercy for non-whites in any situation.

Klassen says his church also advocates whites marrying whites.  Racial Loyalty does its part by featuring "Cupid's Corner," a "white racial matching service."

"One of the Sixteen Commandments of Creativity states: Be fruitful and multiply," one Cupid column stated.  "Eligible white men take note: We already have some very interesting inquiries from beautiful blond and blue-eyed White women from Sweden."

In 1982, Klassen said, he left Florida because it had too many non-whites, too much congestion, and too much crime.  He moved to vacation property he had owned for years in Otto, where he lives in a Swiss-chalet style house.  He lives with his wife, Henrie Etta.  He has one daughter and three grandchildren.

He is challenging Macon County's refusal to grant him tax-exempt status for his church and school.  "We are depending on the First Amendment," Klassen said.  "We're entitled to our own religion, our own means of having peaceful assembly, to distribute literature.  We want to do our thing, to promote ideas peacefully."

When asked whether his church advocates violence, he said, "We don't, we don't, we don't."  But if faced with violence, "We would fight."

He admits the church is hoping to lure skinheads.  "Yes, we're very much together with them.  They're rebels without a cause; they don't know what they believe.  We think we have what they're looking for.  They're glad to be with us."

Defining "we" is difficult with Klassen.  He refuses to cite church membership numbers, or say how many subscribe to Racial Loyalty.  He says only that the church has "worldwide" membership.

The numbers don't matter, said Ira Gisson at the Anti-Defamation League in Norfolk.

"It is potentially dangerous.  With the expected arrival of the inmate STANKO as the leader, I would say the prospect of violence is enhanced.  These are dangerous people.  And while few in number, it doesn't take many to do a great deal of harm."

Reno -- A white separatist group claims a membership drive has netted up to several dozen new members in the Reno area.

But Leonard Weinberg, a University of Nevada, Reno political science professor, accused the  Church of the Creator of inflating membership figures to make it seem more successful.

"I'd say they might have a dozen or even fewer members in the area," he told the Daily Sparks Tribune.

Local group leader Myles Munter, 22, of Reno said he was encouraged by church leaders in Auburn, Calif., to begin recruiting new members in the Reno area about six months ago.

The group has placed fliers on car windshields, especially on and near the University of Nevada, Reno campus.

"We've been dealing with the youth, especially with people of college age," said Munter, a forklift operator. "You're never too young to be proud of your people.

"We're about the best thing for our race. We encourage the sanctity of the white family."

The church was created in 1973 by Ben Klassen of Florida, who was state chairman of Alabama Gov. George Wallace's 1968 presidential campaign. Klassen, who hailed Adolf Hitler as the greatest white leader ever, committed suicide in 1993.

Barbara Bergen, regional director of the Anti-Defamation League's San Francisco office, said she has watched with concern as church leaders have stepped up their activity in the Reno area.

"I'm very unhappy about their recent recruitment drive," she said. "They have a real propensity for violence ... We really need to keep an eye on them."

Bergen's organization has linked group members to at least one murder and two hate crime conspiracies.

Church member Nick Houston, 17, a local construction worker, said members are continually harassed by police wherever they go.

"They treat us like ex-cons out on parole," he said. "They don't want us to speak our minds. They want us to shut up."

The Church of the Creator, an anti-Semitic, anti-black group that now calls Milwaukee its headquarters, operated almost invisibly in Otto, N.C., for 10 years, officials and observers said Friday.

"We never see anybody down there," said Bob Scott, a reporter with the Asheville Citizen-Times in western North Carolina.

Scott covered the group and its founder, Ben Klassen, for a decade in North Carolina.

"The most I've ever seen down there at any one time is Klassen and two other guys," Scott said.  "He had a guy down there one time who wore a white beret, with black military boots with red laces.  He stomped around down there."

Scott said most people in the rural area surrounding the church ignored it.

Officials in the Macon County Sheriff's Department recalled only one incident of violence at the church grounds.  In the early 1980s one of the church's reverends shot out the tires on a car that had mistakenly turned into the driveway.

He was sent to prison.

State and federal authorities in North Carolina also reported no contacts with the group, which preaches against Jews and all non-whites.

"We just want to promote the white race and the survival of the white race, which is going down the drain," said Klassen, who founded the group and held the position of Pontifex Maximus.

"We want to alert the white race of the danger they're in of extinction."

Klassen said he turned over the command of the organization June 15 to a man he identified as Brandon O'Rourke.  O'Rourke, whom he identified as a reverend, allegedly has been the leader of the church's branch in Milwaukee.

There is no listing for Brandon O'Rourke in the Milwaukee phone directory.  The State Division of Motor Vehicles has no record of anyone with that name.  The church's Milwaukee address is a postal box.

Klassen said Friday he would contact O'Rourke and have him call the Milwaukee Sentinel, but later said he would do it on another day.  He refused to give out O'Rourke's phone number.

Klassen said the group chose Milwaukee because the branch headed by O'Rourke had been successful and aggressive.

Seminole -- Before dawn one day recently, someone drove through a Seminole neighborhood tossing copies of a white supremacist newspaper that calls for a racial holy war against minorities.

Articles in the 12-page tabloid called Racial Loyalty, the spearhead of the white racial holy war, urge white people to unite to overthrow "the sinister and treacherous Jew" as well as "n------ and other mud people."

Writer Ben Klassen, 73, calls Christians yokels who worship "spooks in the sky."

The tabloid is published by Church of the Creator out of Otto, N.C.

At least a dozen copies of the tabloid were tossed on driveways in a Seminole neighborhood east of Oakhurst Road about a week ago.

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Marianne Pasha said copies of Racial Loyalty have been "popping up for about a year now in a variety of places, the Pinellas Park library, Carrollwood (in Tampa) and as far north as Spring Hill."

Law enforcement is concerned, Pasha said, because Klassen's followers tend to be more violent than other white supremacists.

The Foundation of the White Empire

    All great empires require citizens to work for the greater good in socialistic enterprises. A human ocean of workers, laboring for eons toward the greatness of an empire, can and will create a magnificent land of effulgent grandeur. It is clear that a realm of builders working in unison towards a single goal can accomplish their mission but is it feasible to expect a country that does not embody this principle to become exalted? Can a nation that emphasizes the self over the whole, flourish and thrive?

    A world populated exclusively by self indulging hedonists would be one of constant anarchy and strife. Holy virtues like honor, loyalty, and integrity would only exist so long as they were profitable to the individual. It seems that happiness would be but a fleeting butterfly that would entertain us for a brief moment before being seized by a fellow villain who would undoubtedly fling us from atop the very mountaintops, if given the chance. A society of these miscreants would prohibit the establishment of anything truly great as they focused on pleasing themselves over constructing a healthy society. It is difficult to imagine any order emerging from this environment whatsoever as even the most ruthless leaders would never be sure of anyone's loyalty, as the masses would yearn for personal indulgence at the expense of the whole.

    Most countries of the world combine socialistic affairs with blatant sensualism. Working together on such projects as education, policing, construction, and politics, exists, right alongside, those who rape and pillage the kingdom in an orgy of sordid rapture. Throughout history, this has been the prevalent state of affairs and, as usual, race was the overwhelming factor in determining whether or not a country became great. The tenacity of the White Race allows these lands to blossom but the expungement of the cancerous vermin who place themselves over the greater good, would certainly propel a nation to unknown, vaunted heights.

    The best example of a country utilizing extreme socialism would undoubtedly have to be the National Socialist Empire in Germany. This formidable machine extricated itself from a dire quagmire full of miasmatic disease to bask in the salubrious rays of a golden, bathing sunshine. The folk were equipped with a mission to glorify their fatherland and this they did splendidly and rapidly despite the brief hiccup of time that was awarded to them. Such organization and purpose were marvelous to behold and it is certainly wise to learn the lessons of Father Time. Therefore, it is unmistakably clear that extreme socialism is not only workable but desirable, while extreme self indulgence is a composition of chaos.

    While it is truly lucid that wonder is achieved by working for the betterment of a society, there will assuredly always be a tiny minority of the population who will simply not exude the gregarious attributes of the masses. As a result, this element will tend to isolate themselves in a hermetic existence. This environment can often lead to bitterness and contempt of the masses but can also lead to great wisdom. The mere fact that these recluses do not mingle well with others, is no reason that they cannot contribute their skills to further improve the quality of life. Many people even require time alone before they can undertake major projects so we must respect the needs of the populace in order to improve it. Consequently, it isn't absolutely necessary to be working alongside our comrades in order to catapult our people to new peaks of loftiness; as long as everyone is working for the best interests of the kingdom as a whole, our goals will be attained.

    In order to create a wondrous world of beauty, it is clear that selfish interests must be liquidated and concentrating on the needs of the empire must take precedence. Of course, this doesn't mean that we need to forego pleasure and all its sweet ecstasies. Enjoyment of our own life is mandatory if we wish to help build and maintain an empire of significance but we simply must place the needs of the empire over the needs of the individual.
     
    When we have a domain that harmoniously sings an enchanting melody of joy, we will be ready to forge our exalted White Empire. Monuments of grandiosity will sweeten our landscapes; lush fields of natural elegance will freshen our spirits; beatitude will reign magnanimously throughout the realm. All this and whatever else our sapient minds can hope for, await our noble clan. Daily, our unifying numbers swell so that the sounds of our might increase and increase. Ever so faintly, the lighthouse atop our paradise can be seen as it caresses our cheek like a tender lover, and beckons us onward. The time draws near when our Racial Socialist ideal will come to fruition in our White Empire.

Hail the Martyr

    The courageous martyrs that have existed throughout the tumultuous annals of struggle, must be remembered. These comrades of incredible magnitude have rejected pusillanimous ideas and embraced the holy ideals of the hero. Whenever times have become bleak and seemingly hopeless, a martyr is born to revitalize hope and make salvation possible. Our strong warriors have produced many martyrs but the most recent have had their names etched in our hearts. Kozel and Smith are some of the names that have been chiseled into the monumental rock of our struggle.

    Before a martyr is born, a life of dedication to the cause must be shown. Battles of the mind and the body, will engage these soldiers in their righteous cause. Wielding weapons of a holy design, these resplendent paladins blaze a river of fire through the revolting turpitude that they instinctively sense. This life becomes a sacrosanct mission to restore light to the abominable nightmare that has pervaded the universe since the birth of man. Those that come in contact with this fervent figures, can feel the energy that fuels the hero. This contact is warmly pleasant and infectious to those that agree with the ambitions of the hero, but the wicked are scarred by the flames that seek to overwhelm all baseness.

    The flesh of all heroes is transient and will eventually wither away, but the martyr can become immortal. The creation of the martyr sends a firestorm of zeal throughout the army of supporters who value what is noble. Many heroes can light only several torches, but the explosion of a martyr can create a sweeping inferno that can brighten enough torches so as to illuminate even the most foul of travesties. While the transformation from a hero to a martyr may be a tragedy, the gift of life that the hero has bequeathed upon us should elevate us to new heights. The martyr not only lived for his cause but even his last deed was for the lovers of light.

    Without defenders of our Holy Race, there will be no hope for us. Those who are willing to live and, if necessary, die in our honorable plight, must be found or created. Most of our kinsmen will hold virtuous ideals on a pristine pedestal but will not ascend that very same pedestal. We must inspire and assist our brethren to join with us on the throne of nobility where the White Race has sat for so many years. With the passage of time, the crushing waves of decadence will grow and grow unless the few heroes we have are able to swell the ranks until we have an elite sentinel force of powerful authority.

    The past has provided us with martyrs and the future will provide them as well. Great shrines and joyous celebrations must remember and honor those that paid the price to the grim spectre of Death. Already, we have a day to celebrate martyrs in the holiday of Martyr's Day on September 15. The inspiration these diligent souls have given us must be passed on to our comrades of the future so that the essence of the martyr does not perish. Hail the Martyr!

The Stairs of Life

    Most comrades that exist in this universe set no goals for themselves to accomplish. They drift about until they are influenced by a gravitational pull that directs them this way or that. With virtually no direction in their lives, they merely bump into one asteroid of life after another. Wouldn't it be more productive to have a precise direction in life? To reach the distance planets in space, one should have an exact course plotted out for such a celestial flight. One might accomplish greatness with no blueprint, but the odds are extremely low when compared to the adventurer who knows his route exactly.

    Goals that require less than a day to complete would be considered short term. These small actions would be quite numerous so many of them would, most likely, be completed every day. These daily errands might include reading, writing or whatever else one may be proficient at. It is important to complete these goals on a regular basis as procrastination can overwhelm one like a cascading avalanche. The faster one can complete his ambitions, the more he can accomplish. Of course, small goals produce small results.

    Middling goals are those generally thought of to range from days to weeks. As can be expected, these are fewer in number than short term goals, but yield greater results. Mid term goals might include reading a book or composing a piece of art, depending on the speed in which the craftsman works. This area is usually the limit of most people's imagination as they cannot imagine anything beyond a few weeks, but we noble crusaders are able to look far into the future.

    The hardest, yet most rewarding goals, are usually those that take months or even years to complete. These long term goals and subsequent conquests, are what generations to come will remember. Ardent dedication, raising splendid children, and composing masterpieces of brilliance are but a few examples of great achievements. Men of vision will look far into the future and plan their lives accordingly. The earlier one creates goals for oneself, the more one can accomplish. Those who start in youth and churn out prolific deeds with great swiftness, will almost undoubtedly be remembered for centuries to come.

    It is extremely important to note that our ascendant community must never merely be content with simply achieving our ambitions. We must strive to not only accomplish what we set out to do, but batter down the limitations that we place upon ourselves. If we are resolved to run one mile, then we should strive to run two, three, and more! A person who does not actively work to evolve into a higher form of greatness will stagnate and eventually wither away in a deplorable state of weakness.

    By combining goals of all sizes, one can accomplish much more than without them. The productivity and resultant happiness in accomplishment, will be dazzling to gaze upon. Whatever ends we wish to achieve will be there waiting for us as we continually march forward. Some steps will be small, but some will be massive; and every footfall takes us closer to the day of victory. The day of victory, however, is but another stair of life on our glorious trek through the ages.

A federal judge ruled that white supremacist Matt Hale's former hate group has to pay nearly half-a-million dollars in attorneys fees in a trademark infringement lawsuit.

U.S. District Judge Samuel Der-Yeghiayan said Monday Hale's group is liable for more than $450,000 plus interest in attorney's fees after losing the lawsuit brought by the Oregon-based TE-TA-MA Foundation in 2000.

It is the same lawsuit that first embroiled U.S. District Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow with Hale's former World Church of the Creator, now named the Creativity Movement. The foundation had trademarked the "Church of the Creator" name and went to court to stop Hale's group from using it.

Lefkow ruled in Hale's favor but was reversed by a higher court and ordered to issue fines against Hale for every day his group didn't comply. Lefkow later became a target when Hale solicited a government informant to kill her. Hale was convicted of murder solicitation last year and last month was sentenced to 40 years in prison. He's appealing his conviction while being held in a Colorado maximum security prison.

'Beyond the pale'

The issue of attorneys fees also made its way to a federal appeals court, which found Hale's group liable because of accusations that his members left threatening phone messages for opposing attorneys as the case was litigated.

"By any reasonable measure, the World Church's actions were egregious and beyond the pale of acceptable litigation conduct," Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals judges wrote.

Hale said in court records that imposing fines would be a "travesty."

The witness finally came clean after the White Man's Bible was slammed before him on the stand.

Yes, he followed many of the racist doctrines in this book. And yes, he even blamed Sept. 11 on the Jews.

But this wasn't white supremacist Matt Hale's testimony during the second day of his trial Tuesday.

It was government witness Jon Fox, a former Hale confidant whose extremist opinions were exposed before a racially diverse jury as defense attorneys tried to discredit key pieces of the prosecution's case.

Fox and federal informant Tony Evola, who could testify today, are crucial to proving charges that Hale solicited the murder of federal Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow.

Fox testified Tuesday that he was with Hale when he refused to be served with a court order asking Hale to stop using the phrase World Church of the Creator on the group's Web site and elsewhere. An Oregon-based church had trademarked the name, which was the subject of a court case in which Lefkow ruled against Hale.

"He shouted out to me he wanted them dead, the judge, the attorneys. ... He wanted the church burned down around [the pastor's] head," said Fox, who had a closely shaven head and a long, bushy beard. "He just straight up asked me if I or anyone in my organization could do that. I told him no."

Fox also testified that he witnessed Hale write an e-mail that Fox feared would incite members to riot. But defense attorney Thomas Durkin countered that Hale was quoting Ben Klassen, who authored the racist teachings in the White Man's Bible.

Durkin accused Fox of being an unreliable witness motivated by a personal grudge.

Both Fox and an earlier government witness, James Burnett, admitted they had lied to federal agents during the investigation, either to protect Hale or out of fear of charges against themselves. Fox also publicly attested to his leader's innocence in front of television cameras just after Hale's arrest in January 2003.

Durkin said Fox later became Hale's chief accuser because he wanted to take Hale's lead position as Pontifex Maximus in the group. Fox acknowledged Tuesday that he did want to start a new group with a new name but denied he wanted to oust Hale.

Durkin also said Fox had a personal vendetta against Hale, holding him responsible for Fox's young daughter becoming pregnant by another group member. Fox insisted he didn't blame Hale.

Durkin, who on Monday filed an emergency order trying to dismiss Fox as an incompetent witness, also said Fox could have memory problems due to manic depressive disorder. Fox said he doesn't have memory problems.

Burnett, the other witness against Hale, talked about the inner workings of Hale's group and testified Monday that Hale celebrated a 1999 shooting spree at a public meeting of Hale followers. He also testified that Hale called Lefkow a "traitor" and said she was "married to a Jew."

But Durkin got Burnett to note the group's small-scale following. The "world" church headquarters is in a room in the house of Hale's father and most public meetings only draw a handful of people, Burnett said. As one of Hale's closest followers, Burnett's tasks included vacuuming.

These days, "Carl" spends a lot of time reading paperbacks in the public library of a gritty Montana town tucked up close to the Canadian border.

But it wasn't long ago the lanky 49-year-old spent his time reading "The White Man's Bible," "The Little White Book" and other racist publications.

An incurable drifter, Carl bounced in and out of prisons across the Northwest until he found a home with the World Church of the Creator several years ago, a white supremacist group that until recently had a toehold in Montana.

With the group's national leader, Matt Hale, sitting in a Chicago jail; the recent death of group member Fred Poloson of Plains; and the defection of both Dan Hassett of Missoula and Carl, the group has dwindled to two.

It seems one of the remaining two men, Slim Deardorff of Superior, isn't holding up so well. The 73-year-old grandfather, who lives alone in a trailer several miles up a dirt road outside town, says he has an "easier time falling down than standing up" these days.

His hands are weak and shake with effort, and he has a hard time following the train of his own thought. He barely eats but drinks gallons of homemade beer. He keeps track of time by writing the daily temperature on a yellowing calendar hanging on the wall.

"They're just a bunch of has-beens and wannabes," Carl said of church members in a recent interview. His name has been changed to protect his identity.

"One day I just asked, 'What am I doing?' " Carl said. "There was no integrity. There was no sense to it."

So Carl, who was living on Deardorff's property in an old travel trailer without electricity or plumbing, hitched his home to the back of his truck and hauled out.

"I drove off and never came back," he said.

But before he left, Carl used his key to the group's storage shed in Superior and took all of their remaining publications - about $41,000 worth of books written by the group's founder - and sold them to the Montana Human Rights Network for $300. The network monitors the radical right and other hate groups.

Carl said he wanted to hamstring the group's fund-raising ability. The books, which sell for $10 apiece, were the group's major source of income.

Carl also turned over boxes and boxes of the church's internal documents and e-mails that were stored in the shed. Page after page details the group's strained alliances, infighting and petty bickering.

The documents record Deardorff's brief contact with both the National Alliance and the Ku Klux Klan, and they highlight Hale's ego. The vast majority of the documents, however, paint a picture of paranoia and organizational chaos.

Montana creators

Carl found his way into the World Church of the Creator two years before Montana "creators" split from Hale, the group's "Pontifex Maximus." Hale, a legitimate-looking spokesman with a law degree, maintained the group's headquarters in his home state of Illinois.

Carl said newspaper articles announcing the group's annual rendezvous at Deardorff's place in 1999 enticed him to reconnect with members he met years ago while working at a cedar mill in southern Idaho.

"Some of the ideas did interest me," Carl said. "It answered questions I had."

The movement, which believes that Jews control the government and that minorities are subhuman, explained away a lot of Carl's angst. It explained why he - a self-described "poor, oppressed and picked on" man - could never get ahead in the world.

Carl never graduated from high school and has a long rap sheet that details years of drug convictions and property crimes. He was last arrested in Oregon in 1995 for possession of methamphetamine.

He's been married three times and had two daughters with a woman who later died of a heroin overdose. He said the seeds of his racist views were planted while growing up on his grandparents' wheat farm in an eastern Washington town of 300.

"Everyone always had the attitude that blacks are this or that and made fun of them," Carl said. "The Posse Comitatus used to ride in our (hometown) parade." (According to the Anti-Defamation League, the Sheriff's Posse Comitatus was an anti-government group that served as a precursor to the Montana Freeman and the Christian identity movement.)

"I just didn't want nothing to do with the blacks," Carl said. "I guess I thought they were ignorant."

Carl fell deeper into the white supremacy movement when he moved onto Deardorff's property in 2002. He bided his time there while collecting disability pay for a work-related injury.

In his year and a half at Deardorff's, Carl chopped wood for the old man and did other odd jobs around the junk-strewn place. And while Deardorff wasn't doing any work around his propane-powered house, he was driving a wedge between the Montana creators and Hale.

The split

The Montana creators voted to impeach Hale in spring 2002, Hassett said in a recent phone interview. Hale, he said, was a "megalomaniac" who was issuing death threats to members who challenged his authority. Hale harassed members and treated women horribly, he said.

"At the time we were impeaching him, he sent me a death threat and spread false rumors about me on the Internet," Hassett said.

As documented in the hundreds of e-mails Carl turned over, while Hale was being ousted by the Montana creators, Deardorff contacted the National Alliance and asked their leader to suggest a replacement. Hale found out about the treachery and kicked Deardorff out. Hale kept his own faction of creators in Illinois.

At the same time, Hale was fighting with Hassett over $8,700 and a vast store of books he handed over to Hassett for safekeeping.

In an e-mail, Hassett told Hale that he turned the money into gold and silver bars and put them in Deardorff's cabin in Superior for safekeeping. But the cabin was destroyed by fire in 2002, and some of the bars were destroyed along with it, Hassett wrote to Hale.

Most of the money was recovered, Hassett recently said. But, he added, Hale had no claim to it because he had been impeached.

Hale was furious and spent the early months of 2002 sniping back and forth with Hassett via e-mail, demanding "absolute obedience and loyalty." Hale later kicked Hassett out of the group.

No one knows for sure what happened to the money, but Deardorff said Carl dug up and stole all the silver and gold buried on his land before he left. Carl denies the charge.

Mineral County Sheriff Anita Parkin said Deardorff filed charges against someone else in June 2003 for stealing "gold and silver bars and a pistol," but never filed any charges against Carl. Carl moved off Deardorff's property at the end of 2003.

"We was going to use the money to rebuild the church," Deardorff said, "We've been trying to rebuild."

After the Montana creators' split from Hale, they appointed Dane Hall of California to lead the handful of members left in their splinter group. The group has been losing ground ever since.

White supremacist Matthew Hale has arrived at the nation's highest-security prison in Colorado, a place typically reserved for the federal government's most dangerous inmates.

Hale will serve his 40-year sentence in Florence, Colo., at ADMAX -- Administrative Maximum United States Penitentiary. He arrived there April 21, according to prison officials. That's the same prison where Olympics bomber Eric Rudolph is expected to serve a life sentence; where Unabomber Theodore Kaczynski is serving four consecutive life sentences, and where Timothy McVeigh was held before he was executed for killing 168 people by blowing up the federal courthouse in Oklahoma City.

On April 6, Hale was sentenced to 40 years in prison for soliciting an undercover informant to murder U.S. District Judge Joan Lefkow. Lefkow upheld a higher court's ruling that forced his white supremacist group to change its name in a trademark case. Lefkow is the same judge whose husband and mother were slain earlier this year by a disgruntled litigant not connected to Hale.

Special restrictions imposed

Hale, who has always maintained that he is not guilty, is still being held under strict "special administrative measures," said Wendy Montgomery, executive assistant public information officer at the supermax prison. She would not go into specifics about what the restrictions will mean and Bureau of Prison officials would not return calls.

While he was held in Chicago, Hale spent 23 hours a day in solitary confinement. He was allowed one hour a day for exercise and banned from communicating with anyone but attorneys and his family. His mail, phone calls and conversations were monitored, and that is expected to continue in Colorado.

In March, his parents were banned from seeing him for a year after they broke a rule that prohibits them from transmitting any messages from Hale to the public. Hale's mother, Evelyn Hutcheson, relayed a statement from her son denouncing the Lefkow family murders. During that investigation, a previous Hale attorney also disclosed that Hutcheson at one time relayed a coded message to him from Hale.

Appealing his conviction

At Hale's request, U.S. District Judge James Moody had recommended that Hale be placed in a Downstate Pekin jailhouse only a 20-minute drive away from his parents. But the ultimate decision lies with the Bureau of Prisons, which placed Hale in Colorado along with the nation's worst of the worst.

"It's quite a blow to us, but I'm not surprised," said Russell Hale, Matt Hale's father. "The government will do what they want to do when they want to do it."

It is unclear how long Hale will continue to be held under special administrative measures. The restrictions are rare and reserved for inmates -- typically terrorists -- who might incite violence from prison.

U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald has said the government still believes Hale is dangerous but he said the restrictions come up for review every six months.

Russell Hale said his son has already started the appeal process, and one Florida businessman is trying to get a legal fund going to challenge the restrictions placed on Hale.

"They're punishing us all for something he didn't do in the first place, and we're going to prove that on down the line," Russell Hale said.

What I have to say in the next 40 minutes is probably going to shock you.  It might even profoundly shake up some of your most cherished superstitions and pet presumptions that you may have nurtured all your life, without perhaps ever bothering to examine the validity or worthiness of those presumptions.  This discussion is going to delve seriously into race and religion—two subjects which our power establishment tells us we must never discuss, unless of course, you are a jew, or a black, or some other so-called minority.  Today, we are going to defy the jew-controlled power structure and discuss race and religion from the White Man's point of view.  In particular, we are interested in examining whether we, the White Race, are going to survive or whether we are going to be mongrelized and destroyed in a flood tide of parasitical, colored races.  Therefore, I want you decide early in this presentation whether you are interested in the survival of your own kind; or, whether you prefer to be a traitor to the White Race and would just as soon see it wiped from the face of the earth and supplanted by niggers, blacks, yellows, semites and other mud races.  For make no mistake about it, the White Race is a highly endangered species—a vanishing species—one that its enemies have decided must disappear from the face of the earth.  If suicide of your own kind is what you wish to see, now is a good time to stop listening.  If, on the other hand, you are loyal to your own kind and wish the White Race to survive and prosper, then you, undoubtedly, are not only interested in hearing about the Church of the Creator but also becoming a member of our religious movement.

The creed and philosophy of our religion, called Creativity, is set forth in our book Nature's Eternal Religion.  It is the White Man's bible and its basic goal is not only the survival of the White Race, but also its expansion and advancement.  Since in this short dissertation it is impossible to give the full basis of our religion, even in short summary, we must continually refer you back to our bible, namely Nature's Eternal Religion, a book consisting of 508 pages and 49 chapters.  Why are we so concerned about the survival of the White Race?  Basically, there are two overwhelming reasons.  One, the White Race is rapidly shrinking into extinction and two, we are proud members of Nature's most distinguished, intelligent, productive and creative species.  We are talking about our own survival, the survival of the White Race.  There are many other reasons we can cite, such as the preservation of civilization and everything else that is worthwhile in life, but all these other reasons become secondary.  First, and foremost, we of the Church of the Creator are concerned about the survival, expansion and advancement of the White Race for its own sake, period.  The sum total of all our efforts and dedication revolve around that central issue.

As soon as we begin to logically and calmly examine the impending destruction of the White Race, our enemies immediately bristle and hurl at us all the timeworn clichés and invectives of "racist," "fascist," "nazi," and a host of others.  It seems that if the jews are loyal to Israel and to their race, that is just wonderful.  If the niggers organize for the soul interest of their race and shout: 'Kill Whitey', that, too, is highly commendable.  If the indians organize and commit atrocities, that, too, is to be praised—for isn't the White Man responsible for everybody else's shortcomings, stupidities, and their inabilities to cope?  To which I say, loudly and emphatically: No!  We are not responsible for the shortcomings, defects and stupidities of the niggers and their historical inability to create a civilization; nor to maintain it, even when the White Man has brought it to them.  Nor are we responsible for the colored mud-races' inability to cope with the problem of feeding themselves above a starvation level.  In six thousand years of recorded history, the blacks of Africa have never even so much as invented the wheel, a written alphabet, or much of anything else.  No, we are not responsible for that.  Nature made them dumb, shiftless and lazy—you can take the nigger out of the jungle, but you cannot take the jungle out of the nigger.  It is not our responsibility to compensate for their defects, nor is it our duty to incorporate them into our society, or into our race, and thereby poison our own racial bloodstream.  On the contrary, the highest law of Nature commands us to make every effort for our own race to survive, to expand, and advance the genetic quality of our future generations.

There is a sinister race on the face of the earth that is working feverishly for the mongrelization and final liquidation of the White Race.  It is a tribe that is fanatically loyal to its own, and fiercely hostile to all other races.  That tribe is the tribe of Judah.  The jewish race has frantically been striving for the last several thousand years towards its ultimate goal—the genocide of the White Race.  As far back as three thousand years ago, during the days of Solomon, the rough outlines of a jewish conspiracy were hatched in which the final goal was the enslavement of all the other peoples of this planet and the possession of all the wealth, riches and natural resources of the world.  In the ensuing three thousand years, the jews have progressed steadily towards that goal and are now on the threshold of total success.  For a more detailed history of the jews and their conspiracy, read chapter six of Nature's Eternal Religion entitled "Masters of Deceit: a Short History of the Jews."

How, you might well ask, could the jews possibly succeed in perpetrating such an outrage on the rest of the world; how, especially on the White Race which is highly intelligent, creative and productive.  Again, for the full story, we must refer you to Nature's Eternal Religion, but we can sketch a few of the significant factors in this limited discussion.  For one thing, the jews would never be able to get to first base if it weren't for certain serious idiosyncrasies in the White Race itself.  The jews are extremely skilful mind manipulators, they are tremendously expertise at spreading lies and compounding confusion, they are the historical masters of deceit.  In their conspiracy to confuse, deceive and control the mind of the White Man, they have had some incredible help from the White Man himself.  The best help the jew has had are two suicidal weaknesses inherent in the White Man's makeup; namely, his gullibility and his susceptibility to superstition.

It is one of the strange paradoxes of history that, whereas the White Man is the most intelligent, creative and productive creature on the face of the earth, when it comes to his being able to recognize his enemies and fight for his own survival, the White Man is the most stupid creature on the face of the earth.  And therein lies his Achilles' heel, which the jews have exploited to the hilt.  There are other weakness from which the White man suffers that have been of tremendous help in the jewish program of enslavement.  Some of these are the naïve sense of fair play, his sympathy for the underdog, his extraordinary and exaggerated sense of compassion, his inability to realize his own outstanding worth, but far more devastating has been the White Man's fatal susceptibility towards superstition, gullibility, and his strange inability to recognize his mortal enemies.  Let us remember these two words: superstition and gullibility, they go together.  Superstition deals with believing in the supernatural—spooks, spirits, gods, devils, angels, witches, fairies, gremlins, ghosts, etc.  Gullibility refers to foolishly believing in things that aren't so, without bothering to check for evidence.  These two debilities of the mind—gullibility and superstition—are the basis of almost all religious faiths that have ever been invented and perpetrated on a long suffering humanity.  If you can get people to believe in spooks in the sky, then they are often more real to the believers than the real world.  Furthermore, in their fantasy, the spooks often become more important to people than the real world.  They also become an extremely powerful weapon in the hands of con artists in controlling the masses of their gullible believers.  It is very similar to scaring little children with a bogey man, if they believe, then they are as afraid of an imaginary bogey man as if he were real.  Believing in a fantasy makes the fantasy as real to the believer as reality itself, and often, even more so.

The point is, that the impostor, who claims to be in with, and have influence with the spooks in the sky, has a powerful weapon in his hands with which to frighten and manipulate the minds of his gullible victims, and so it has been throughout the history of mankind.  A book I have read shows that people have invented more than 30,000 gods and goddesses that gullible and superstitious fools believed in, even before the jews invented their particular versions of Jehovah, Jahweh, Jesus Christ, the "holy ghost," Satan, and a host of other imaginary spooks.  The jews, in their search of how to control and manipulate people's minds, discovered early in their history, what a powerful weapon spookcraft, or religion, was.  They utilized this discovery to its fullest in two directly opposite ways.  They invented Jehovah as their own private god to bind their own people together into a fanatic racial loyalty such as the world had never seen before or since.  They invented christianity, with its built in suicidal teachings, to confuse, debilitate and destroy their enemies.  How effectively they did so we shall soon see.

During the early centuries, in the rise of the great Roman civilization, Rome fought and overcame its many surrounding enemies.  As Rome expanded, one of the greatest threats, and its most dangerous rival, was Carthage, who had established a powerful empire on the southern shores of the Mediterranean, directly opposite from Rome.  For one hundred and twenty years, these two rival nations intermittently fought each other in three major wars in a life and death struggle.  Finally, when Rome triumphed, they leveled Carthage to the ground, killed the men, and sold the women and children into slavery.  Carthage was wiped from the face of the earth and was never again to rise as a threat to Rome.  A few centuries later, in the year 70 A.D., the jews of Judea rebelled against the Roman authorities.  Emperor Vespasian sent General Titus to Jerusalem with a few legions.  In a siege similar to Carthage, General Titus devastated the jews, leveled Jerusalem to the ground, and either dispersed, killed, or sold the population into slavery.  Now we would think, that in a fate similar to Carthage, the jewish threat would have been liquidated forever and wiped from the face of the earth, but not so.  On the contrary, history shows the jews survived and the Romans, as a race, perished.  The Romans declined rapidly after they embraced christianity, while the imported slave populations multiplied rapidly and replaced the original Roman stock.  By the year 476 A.D., the Roman Empire collapsed miserably, and the original Roman racial stock, for all practical purposes, can be considered extinct.

The  jews had their revenge, they had destroyed miserably, and completely, the Roman race, the Roman Empire, and the great Roman civilization, for all of which they harbored an intense and pathological hatred.  How did they accomplish this?  They knew they could not overcome the Romans in open combat, in which the Romans excelled and the jews, in any case, are physical cowards.  Being a parasitical race and the supreme masters of deceit, they decided to employ their special weapon; namely, mind subversion.  They decided to destroy the Romans by deranging their brains, and they decided to employ religion as their most powerful weapon with which to warp and cripple the Roman mind.  They decided to take full advantage of those two weaknesses, to which the otherwise intelligent White Man is so susceptible; namely, gullibility and superstition.  They invented and foisted on the Romans, a new and suicidal religion—christianity, a religion that has plagued and crippled the White Man's thinking to this very day.  Its founder, supposedly, was one Jesus Christ, who according to Luke 2:21, was a circumcised jew.

What is it about christianity that is so devastating and suicidal as to cause the breakdown of the great Roman civilization and plunge the White Race into the dark ages of superstition and ignorance, poverty and misery, for the next thousand years?  If we examine the New Testament, we don't have to go far from its original first few pages to find out.  In the "Sermon on the Mount," (Matthew 6, 7 & 8 ), we find a mythological Christ dispensing the following suicidal advice: 'Sell all thou hast and give it to the poor', 'Love your enemies', 'Turn the other cheek', 'Resist not evil', 'Judge not'.  There is more real bad and suicidal advice that, if followed, must surely lead to self-destruction and extinction of those that take such idiotic advice seriously.  Let us examine a little more closely just how crazy and how destructive the above five teachings really are.  Let us examine the idea of 'Sell all thou hast and give it to the poor'.  If everyone was a so-called "good christian" and followed that advice from their early youth, there would be no one that would ever build a business, build a home, or build a family.  As soon as they had earned two dimes to rub together, they would immediately transfer such to the freeloaders, parasites, and the niggers who would be there waiting to relieve the working White christian of his hard-earned savings.  More likely still, the jew, who doesn't believe in such nonsense, would beat the other parasites to the punch in relieving the foolish, but gullible, White Man of his earnings and property.  A fool and his money are soon parted.

In any case, if we were all "good christian" chumps, there would be no substantial citizenry left who could support the building of roads, harbors, airports, cities, homes, industry, factories, or anything else.  We would, in fact, soon be reduced to a straggling horde of meandering bums, without money, without homes, without industry, without jobs, without food.  Civilization would break down and be reduced to primitive barbarism.  Or let's take the idea of 'loving your enemies'.  If you hadn't fallen for the first bad piece of advice of foolishly giving everything away to the freeloaders, but were gullible enough to succumb to the idea of 'loving your enemies', the end result would be the same—suicide and destruction of yourself.  If instead of giving it away, you did manage to accumulate a home and some property, you would in short order be beset with thieves, pirates, and robbers who would quickly relieve you of your money, your home, and any other belongings.  Why wouldn't they?  You 'love them' and, especially, since such victims would also be imbued with the stupid christian idea of 'turning the other cheek' and 'not resisting evil', the robbers would have a field day and you would be right back to where you started, with nothing.  You might as well have stuck with the first suicidal concept and given it all away in the first place.  The end result would be the same—you end up with nothing, the jews and the parasites end up with the hard-earned fruits of your labor.

There is much more bad advice in the "Sermon on the Mount", for a fuller examination, read chapter thirteen of Nature's Eternal Religion entitled "The New Testament."  Suffice it here to say that any reasonable and intelligent analysis of the bad, poisonous advice that is interlarded and interlaced throughout the New Testament always leads to the same, inevitable results.  The end result is self-destruction and suicide.  We might well ask: Why would anyone be stupid enough to want to buy such a load of garbage?  It is incredible that anybody would, but we come back to those two mortal failings of the White Man's mind; namely, gullibility and superstition, and the treacherous, cunning jew played on those weaknesses to the hilt.  Strange and incredible as it may seem, the jews were successful in peddling this new suicidal religion to the Romans and their rapidly mongrelized and deteriorating offspring of imported slaves.  History tells us that the Romans bought this garbage of christianity from the jews.  In fact, Emperor Constantine—himself a treacherous criminal who murdered his own wife and son, among many others, and who was later canonized as one of "saints" of the roman catholic church—in the year 313 A.D., decreed that christianity was now the official religion of the Roman Empire, to the exclusion of all others.  By the year 476 A.D., the Roman Empire had collapsed completely.  The superlative White Roman race, who produced the most splendid civilization in the golden age of classical history, and perhaps to this very day, was for all time wiped from the face of the earth.  The jews did it by feeding the Romans a suicidal new religion, the Romans bought the new poison, hook, line and sinker and the victims died from it.  The jews had their revenge.

The collapse and destruction of the Roman Empire is undoubtedly the most colossal tragedy in the history of the White Race.  The original Romans exemplified much that is best in the White Race, they were a brave and noble people.  The Romans were creative builders and organizers, they were resolute and tenacious, strenuous and indefatigable.  Daunted by no reverses or misfortune, they never admitted defeat, having a strong sense of discipline and duty.  They were clear-headed, business-like and efficient, and finally, they were not a mere fighting race, but one gifted above all others with a genius for consolidating and organizing, and for the forming and administering of laws.  Their civilization lasted for a thousand years; it left the White Race a proud legacy of laws, customs, art, sculpture, language, architecture and government that persist to this very day.  Our debt to the now extinct Romans is very great indeed.  In contrast to the Romans, the jews were the very opposite; they never built any civilization, created no art, architecture, sculpture, or anything else of value.  Yet the jews are the oldest surviving race in the world today, who have appeared and reappeared in the histories of all great White peoples, such as the Egyptians, the Greek, the Romans, et cetera, for the last five thousand years.  Their most predominate characteristic has been their cunning and deceit in boring into the vitals of other nations, sucking out their life blood and destroying them.  They are doing just that to the productive White Race today, here in America and in the rest of the world.  Since the White Race as a whole, but especially here in America, is the victim marked for mongrelization and destruction, it behooves us to seriously study our tormentor and find ways and means of warding off the suicidal path on which we—the White Race—are now programmed.

First of all, let us analyze why the jews have survived for five thousand years when more intelligent, more healthy and powerful nations, such as the Romans, did not survive.  Why did the Carthaginians disappear from the face of the earth, when Jerusalem suffered a similar fate, but the inferior jews survived to destroy the Romans?  There are many reasons for this, but the overwhelming reason lies in the mosaic religion of the jews, which is tailor-made for this parasitic race.  The mosaic, or judaic, religion has bound the jewish race together in a fanatic loyalty which has not been matched by any other people.  It has done more than that, it has given them a purpose and a program that they have pursued tenaciously for the last several thousand years.  In essence, that program is to garner, under the jews, all the wealth and riches of the world and to subjugate all other people as slaves to do their bidding.  A tall order, but they have been extremely successful and are nearing their ultimate goal.  Their mosaic religion has done more; it has given them a philosophy which has been the core around which they have rallied throughout their long and tumultuous history.  Stripped of all the window dressing, that creed essentially boils down to this: What is good for the jews is the highest virtue, what is bad for the jews is the ultimate sin.  Nothing else matters; the survival and the welfare of the jewish race above everything else.  The Romans, on the other hand, had no such religion.  True, they had a confusing array of gods—Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and a host of others—but they meant little to the unity or stability of the Roman race.  They gave the Romans no particular creed, no goals, no program, no purpose.  Their religion was nothing more than a superstitious indulgence in a world of fantasy; above all, it did not promote racial loyalty—the one ingredient which must be the core of any creed for the survival of a race.  Having no serious or worthwhile religion of their own, the Romans were highly vulnerable to the cunning of the treacherous jews, who as we stated before, are history's masters of deceit and the most insidious and crafty mind manipulators the world has ever known.

The jews had one other advantage.  Unlike Carthage, they were not concentrated in a Jerusalem, or even in Judea.  They were dispersed all over the Roman Empire, parasitically feeding, especially on the trade routes and centers of commerce.  They dominated the money market, the slave trade, and many other nerve centers of power.  Above all, they stuck together like glue.  Since the Romans had no good religion of their own, and were therefore highly vulnerable, the jews went about their destruction with a vengeance.  They invented christianity soon after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.  They invented the horrible concept of hell, like the bogey man we described earlier, to terrorize and panic their foolish victims into submission.  With these formidable weapons, especially the fear of hellfire and torture, they wreaked havoc on the superstitious and the gullible.  The victims swallowed the whole package, including the suicidal concepts of 'Sell all thou hast', 'Love your enemies', 'Turn the other cheek', 'Resist not evil', 'Judge not', and a whole passel of other idiotic and suicidal advice.  The befuddled Romans, who in their past history had been realistic, down-to-earth, taken good care of their affairs here on earth—the only place man has ever been known to live—now lost their sense of reality.  Instead of pursuing their earthly duties, as christians their minds now meandered in a fantasy world of spooks.  Their empire, their civilization, and their race, went down the drain—down the sinkhole of history—never to rise again, with jews in control of the wreckage.

Fifteen hundred years later, the jews are still in control of the White Race, even after having subjected us to a thousand miserable years of the dark ages.  We are still stuck with the same suicidal religion that warped the brains of the Romans and orbited their minds into the unreal world of spooks.  In the meantime, the jews have strongly consolidated their gains.  Over the centuries, they have either strengthened or added to their arsenal of weapons with which to exploit and control their victims.  Some of these tools, other than religion are, first, money—the jews control the gold, the finances, the banks, and stock exchanges of the world.  Second, propaganda—the jews control the newspapers, wire services, television networks, movies, book printing and distribution, magazines, and every other meaningful facet of the news and influence-wielding media, both here in the United States, and throughout the world.  Third, education—how the jews control and blanket our educational institutions is too broad a subject to cover here; suffice it to say, that they coerce our children, by force of law, to attend, then indoctrinate and pollute their impressionable young minds with destructive and depraved jewish ideas, most of which will lead to race-mixing and the racial poisoning of our future generations.  Fourth, government—having control of our nation's finances and news media, they control our government and are all over it like a swarm of locusts.  This applies to all governments of the world.

Their most usual trick is to have some White gentile yokel, preferably Anglo-Saxon, as front man, and have him surrounded by the real manipulators of power, all jews.  If we take a look at the bureaucrats in control in Washington as of the summer of 1975, we find Gerald Ford, a White gentile, acting as a stooge and front man.  He is surrounded by Henry Kissinger, a jew who is Secretary of State and also the director of the National Security Council.  In these two offices, the fate and security of the nation hangs in balance, yet it is in the hands of a jewish communist traitor whose loyalty is to Israel, to communism, and to the jewish worldwide network.  But this is only the beginning, head of the Defense Department is a jew by the name of James Schlesinger, the head of the Treasury Department is a jew by the name of John Simon, chairman of the Federal Reserve board is a German-born jew by the name of Arthur Burns, alias Bernstein.  Ford's financial adviser is a jew by the name of Seidmann.  The federal insurance advisor is a jew by the name of Bernstein.  Press secretary to the president is a jew by the name of Ron Nessen.  Ford's chief speech writer is a jew by the name of Friedman.  Head of the economic council is a jew by the name of Alan Greenspan.  Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare is a jew by the name of Casper Weinberger.  The Attorney General's office is in the hands of a jew by the name of Levy.  Even Betty Ford's secretary is a jewess by the name of Mrs. Weidenfeld.  They make sure they have all the bases covered and leave no nerve center of power occupied by one, not of their tribe.  The cast of characters changes constantly, and has changed by now, but it is always a jewish cast.

Now, so far, we have been analyzing the problem, but what is the solution to the disastrous and sinister calamity which the White Race finds itself boxed into today?  Are we doomed to mongrelization and extinction the jews have scheduled for us, like they did the Romans, or is there any hope whatsoever that the White Race will awaken, shake off its stupor, organize, and forcefully seize control of its own destiny.  We of the Church of the Creator say that we can free ourselves from the sinister vise in which we are now locked and that we can regain control of our own destiny—we must, it is a matter of life and death.  That we are in a horrible dilemma there is no doubt.  In 1920, the White Race of the world was outnumbered only 2-to-1 by the colored and mud-races of the world.  Today, it is outnumbered 12-to-1 and rapidly shrinking while the mud-races are exploding at an unprecedented, engulfing the White Race even in their traditional homelands, such as America and England.  The jewish United Nations gleefully predicts that in another generation, the White Race will be outnumbered 49-to-1.  At the rate we are going, that will most surely happen and by that time, it will be too late.  Reduced to impotence, the White Race will be mastered by the flood tide of mud-races at a given signal by the jews.  For generations, the mud-races have been goaded and incited to 'Hate Whitey' all over the world, and will be eager, ready and willing to slaughter us as soon as they have the upper hand, and especially as the struggle for food becomes more critical.

We of the Church of the Creator are convinced that we can stave off this horrible disaster and we have the creed and the program to do it with.  Had the Romans possessed it, the jews would never have had a chance.  Had the Romans had a Racial religion, like Creativity, instead of their meaningless gods and spooks, what a different world this would be today.  Instead of a world rapidly degenerating into chaos, flooded by a starving mass of mud-people who cannot cope, and a world exploited by the jewish network, we would today have instead a beautiful world populated by a creative, productive, culture-loving White Race.  It would be a beautiful world minus niggers, jews or hordes of subhuman mud-races.  The genetic, cultural and technological progress that would have evolved in the ensuing fifteen hundred years since the Romans perished would be a marvel to behold, something that can only tax our wildest imagination.  Such a world as the Romans would have built had they marched forward with a strong Racial religion is the goal of the Church of the Creator.  It is not too late.  What we need to day is a completely new direction, a powerful new religion for the White Race, a religion based on the superlative value of our Race.  In Creativity, we have such a religion.

The central core of our religion, Creativity, is the survival, expansion and advancement of the White Race, and the White Race alone, to the exclusion of all others.  We are taking the most salient page from the history of the jews, the golden rule of the Church of the Creator reads: What is good for the White Race is the highest virtue, what is bad for the White Race is the ultimate sin—period.  Organized and united, the White Race is ten times more powerful than all the jews, niggers, and mud-races of the world combined.  We of the Church of the Creator mean to organize that awesome potential of White Power for the benefit of the White Race.  We mean to put every White Man in the position where he will have to openly take a stand, either for the White Race by word, deed and action, or be exposed as a dastardly traitor to his Race ... there will be no 'Mister In-betweens'.  Whereas, it is impossible to set forth our entire creed and program in this limited dissertation, we want to urge you to read, and re-read, the bible of our religion: Nature's Eternal Religion.  It consists of 508 pages and 49 chapters.  It is divided into two parts: the first half is entitled "The Unavenged Outrage" and sets forth the problem; the second half is entitled "The Salvation" and blueprints the solution to the problem.  The whole book can be considered the creed and program of our religion; namely, Creativity.

I have said, that it is the core of our creed, to advance the welfare of the White Race, to expand it until we ultimately inhabit all the good land of this fertile planet, and above all, to keep our Race pure, to advance it to ever finer genetic levels.  In no way does this imply waging wars of extermination against the mud-races, should this be your impression, nor do we want to enslave any other race.  We mean to pursue the same program of expanding the White Race as the White Race pursued in the winning of the West and the building of America.  We mean to apply the American way to the winning of the world.  The essential part of our program is Racial Loyalty—providing for the best interests of our own people, the White Race.  It is our unalterable position to stop subsidizing, feeding, aiding and abetting the scum and parasites of the world that are now devouring our productivity and consuming our largesse.  Just as the inferior American redskins were not able to compete with the White settlers, so the mud-people of the world are not able to compete.  It is only because of jewish control and the perverted sense of confused loyalty that the White Race is now shrinking its own; feeding and expanding the mud-races to where the very survival of the White Race is now in dire jeopardy.  It is stupid, idiotic, and suicidal to shrink our own and expand our enemies.  We of the Church of the Creator mean to reverse this process, we mean to practice White teamwork—Racial Loyalty—to expand the White Race and to shrink the numbers of the mud-races by letting them shift for themselves.  We mean to expand our numbers and our territory in the same way the White Man did throughout the world during the sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

The first phase of winning our fight for survival lies in bringing the White Man's thinking back to sanity.  The biggest obstacle we have to overcome is not the jews, the niggers and the other mud-races, but first of all straightening out the White Man's confused thinking.  In order to survive, the White Race needs a new creed, a new philosophy; in short, a completely new religion.  The White Man's thinking must shake off the jewish cancer that has clouded his mind throughout the last two thousand years and face reality.  That is what the religion of Creativity is all about.  It is based on reality, it is not based on 'pie-in-the-sky-when-you-die' nor 'fry-in-the-sky-when-you-die', nor is it based on a fantasy world of spooks in the sky to whom we might vainly implore, plead and pray for our welfare.  No, we are done with the superstitious and primitive nonsense and throw it all overboard.  Our religion is based on reality: the laws of Nature, which are eternal, which are real, which always happen the same and always will be; and one of the highest laws which Nature has spelled out to us, as to every other creature, is the survival of our own kind.  This law transcends all others.  Had the Romans realized this, had they kept their race pure and pursued the survival, expansion and advancement of their own race, this would be a far better and superior world today.

There is much more to our program and creed.  There are the Sixteen Commandments of the Church of the Creator.  There is the program spelled out in the chapter entitled "The Road to Greatness."  There is a picture of a bright new world of the future toward which we are striving.  It is all contained in our bible: Nature's Eternal Religion.  I urge you not only to read it, but study it daily.  There is much to be done if our great people are to survive.  The first constructive thing you can do is to avail yourself of the book, read it and then distribute it among your White Racial Comrades.  The next thing you can do is to organize; well, read the whole program in the White Man's bible: Nature's Eternal Religion.  Remember, to be skeptical and of an inquiring mind is no vice; to be gullible and superstitious is no virtue, and may today be the day when you take a stand for the White Race, when you dedicate yourself and your future to building a Whiter and Brighter world of tomorrow.  Thank you.
