Vandals spray painted the hateful messages on the outer walls of the Australian Islamic College of Sydney in Rooty Hill which were discovered on Friday morning.

Teachers and students of the kindergarten through year 12 school had to walk past the messages on their way into class as staff attempted to scrub it off.

The school neighbours Rooty Hill's mosque and the messages included phrases such as 'No migrants', 'Hamas Albo', and 'Albo liar' in black paint on the brick fence.

Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) quickly released a statement condemning the vandalism which took place one day before the federal election.

'This disgraceful act of hate is yet another disturbing reminder of the rising hostility faced by Australian Muslims, including children and families, in spaces that should be safe, welcoming and free from intimidation,' the statement read.

'The attack was clearly designed to intimidate and provoke fear, targeting both the school's predominantly Southeast Asian Muslim community and the broader Arab and Muslim community.

'This dual targeting makes the attack even more alarming, as it strikes at the heart of the community's religious and educational life.

The college is yet to comment on the matter but ANIC has already requested an increase in protection from local police around Islamic sites in the area. 

'Such acts cause immense distress to young students, vilify entire communities, and undermine the inclusive principles Australia stands for,' the statement continued.

'We urge political leaders at all levels to move beyond statements of condemnation and implement meaningful measures to address the root causes of Islamophobia. <-- They want Hate-Crime laws and Blasphemy Laws designed specially just for Muslims.

'Hate must not be tolerated, not in our schools, not in our streets, and not in our society.

'No child should be made to feel unsafe on their way to school. No community should be left to endure hate in silence.

We should have had a referendum on multi-culturalism to start with.

Excerpt: A school district in Canada has defended a presentation which declared the use of the word 'family' problematic, due to its 'white supremacist' roots.

The Waterloo Region District School Board in Ontario held a professional training session in November 2023 during which the word was said to imply 'values positions of [male] authority and hierarchy,' and 'nuclear family structure.'

During the event, entitled Dismantling Whiteness at W-O: Words Matter, it claimed the word 'asks for obedience' with 'no room for questions or criticism,' and insinuates an 'expectation to prioritize family's needs and wants; sacrificing personal boundaries,' Juno News reported.

The session went on to discuss the 'concept of whiteness' which 'allows white supremacy to flourish.'

The report referenced by the board, Dreams Delayed: Addressing Systemic Anti-Black Racism and Discrimination in Ontario's Public Education System, detailed the role that public educational institutions can play in dismantling and correcting harmful practices, specifically for people of color within their communities.

A source told the outlet: 'Teachers just want to get on with their job of teaching.

The executives said Saint Haven and its sister club Saint "have zero tolerance for racism, or any conduct that undermines the dignity, safety or wellbeing of others".

Queensland Premier David Crisafulli's tweet congratulating Aussie sprinter Gout Gout on his latest record-breaking run has unleashed a wave of disgraceful racist abuse aimed at the 17-year-old



Some sports fans called out the awful behaviour.

'Born and bred in Queensland. These comments are a joke. Proud of the lad,' one wrote.

'Great achievement! And a great Aussie Guy - this is what our country is built on,' another commented.

'He's an Australian ffs. F**k QLDers are insufferable with this sort of s**t,' added a third.

This is not the first time Gout has been subjected to racism as he stamps himself as one of the brightest up-and-coming talents in world athletics.

In December last year athletics commentator Tim Rosen chose to delete a post he made featuring one of Gout's runs because of the deplorable comments it attracted.

Many of those remarks, like the ones in response to Crisafulli's post, claimed Gout should not be thought of as Australian.

That same month the Age newspaper issued an apology after it was hit with allegations of racism for confusing Gout with Aussie runner Peter Bol - who was born in Sudan - on its front page.

Up against the highest-quality field he has ever faced, with two of his competitors having broken the 20-second mark, the Aussie blitzed the last 20 metres to pull ahead of Cuban star Reynier Mena in his sensational victory.

'Get some more races in me and it [the 20-second barrier] will drop for sure,' Gout said after the event.

A woman has accused Priceline of racial profiling with bosses offering a grovelling apology in a massive backflip after the store bluntly denied the claims

Joyce Lebechi claimed workers routinely requested security footage to be checked whenever she visited the store in Victoria.

Ms Lebechi filmed herself confronting a staff member on the weekend, saying she was fed-up with being 'targeted.

The pharmacy initially took to Instagram to deny the accusations and defend its staff, before removing the post.

'We treat every person equally, and any suggestion otherwise is not only hurtful, it is categorically untrue,' it read.

The pharmacy has since backtracked with a Priceline spokesman telling Daily Mail Australia on Monday they were deeply sorry for the incident.

'The situation that occurred at the Priceline Pharmacy franchise is highly regrettable and we wholeheartedly apologise to Ms Lebechi,' she explained.

'The security camera checks in question are not endorsed by Priceline Pharmacy, and the store has been asked to stop performing these.

Ms Lebechi said in her TikTok video that 'every time I come in here, they always ask for the cameras to get checked'.

'And today I've had it up to here,' she said.

She approached a staff member and asked why the security checks seemed to coincide with her visits.

'Every time I come in the store, the cameras are asked to be checked. Why is that?' she asked.

The employee responded that checks are conducted 'every ten minutes.

Ms Lebechi recalled a previous conversation where she was told the checks happened 'every five minutes'.

'Now it's ten minutes,' she said.

The customer insisted the situation had happened too often to be a coincidence when speaking to another staff member.

'It just feels very racially motivated,' Ms Lebechi said.

But the staff member said the checks were 'random', and she had had similar conversations in the past with other shoppers.

'You're not the only one that has that conversation with us,' she explained.

'It happens all the time, and everyone that's shopping at that time has the same comment, but we've got to do it, we can't stop.'

Ms Lebechi she said it still felt racially motivated.

'You can't say that to us when we have multiple races working in here,' the staff member said. [PriceLine is chock-full of Nig-Nogs serving at the counter, stocking shelves and guarding the door]

'First of all, I don't really see that,' the shopper replied.

'I think it's something that you guys need to be conscious of, in my opinion.'

But the staff member disagreed saying: 'No, because then we are targeting.

Ms Lebechi said the announcement had occurred on too many occasions, blaming front-of-store staff for targeting customers of colour.

The staff member apologised that the shopper 'felt like that' as Ms Lebechi left the store.

The store posted a now-deleted statement to their social media account, taking aim at the claims.

'We are deeply disappointed by these claims, as they do not reflect the reality of our store, our staff, or our values,' it read.

'Our team proudly represents a wide range of cultural backgrounds, and we serve a diverse community of customers every day with professionalism, care, and respect.

'As part of our standard loss prevention policy, common across major retailers, we conduct random security measures, including bag checks and camera monitoring, throughout the day.

'These checks are never based on race, ethnicity, or appearance. They are carried out strictly as a routine part of ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both our customers and staff.'

The store said they are considering the accusations extremely seriously and strongly considering legal action. 

'We have many long-standing regular customers from all walks of life who know and trust our team,' the statement read. 

'We treat every person equally, and any suggestion otherwise is not only hurtful, it is categorically untrue.'

However, a Priceline spokesman has since apologised 'for the understandable distress and concern caused by the events that took place'.

'This experience does not reflect our values of inclusivity and respect, for all customers,' he said.

'We have reached out to Ms Lebechi to apologise on behalf of Priceline Pharmacy and explain that we are working closely with the owners of this franchise store to ensure adherence to recommended procedures.
