We live in societies that are in modern terms, old. More than 60% of homes and businesses in North America, Australia and the United Kingdom run on electrical power systems that are anywhere from forty up to a hundred years old. Simply put, this an infrastructure that cannot tolerate modern solar energy flowing back and forth through the wiring.

Our governments moan every summer that we should not use air conditioning, otherwise we will cause blackouts. Every year, people die because of the heat and cold, due to their inability to cool and heat their homes. So, WTF are we supposed to plug these Electric Vehicles into? Think of this: If everybody in your neighbourhood has an EV, you wont even have lights. All you will have are blackouts ...

But while my home is blacked out, I'll at least be able to drive elsewhere with my petrol driven combustion engine and do WTF I like in the cool/warmth of my car.

Car Batteries ... Again

For years my car battery failed and needed a recharge, or at least my car needed driven every few days. The problem? It turned out to be a faulty Starter Motor. When the Starter eventually failed, I had to replace it at a cost of $400. Suddenly, my battery no longer rapidly drains and I can leave my car for a week and more without any battery issues.

My battery issues are detailed somewhere at the beginning of this Topic, but a short explanation is, I had battery issues, so I bought the biggest and best battery that would fit into my car - a GM Holden Commodore VZ/Pontiac G8.
