Police are investigating an attempt aggravated robbery at Seaton early this morning.

Just after 3.40am on Saturday 14 August police were called to Tapleys Hill Road after a delivery driver was threatened by three men before being hit with a baseball bat.

The victim was standing outside his car when another car pulled up behind him. One man approached the victim and demanded money. The victim stated he had no money.  Two more men approached and one of them hit the victim in the head with a baseball bat.  The men tried to steal the victim's mobile phone before driving off.

SAAS attended and conveyed the victim to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. Thankfully his injuries are not life threatening.

The suspects are described as three men of Aboriginal appearance aged between 18-20

A man  Boong has been charged with murder following an incident in the State's Far North on Saturday.

Just after 8.30pm Saturday 21 August police were called to the Ernabella Clinic in Pukatja, after reports a man had presented with stab wounds.

The 19-year-old Far North man was flown to the Alice Springs Hospital in a critical condition, but sadly, on Sunday 22 he died of his injuries.

On Sunday 22 August following an investigation, Far North CIB arrested a 39-year-old Osborne man at Pukatja and charged him with murder. The suspect is known to the victim.

He has been refused bail and will appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court today

A man Coon has been arrested after he allegedly struck two police officers with a car at Davoren Park this morning.

Just before 10.30am on Thursday 2 September, police attended a Heytesbury Road address as part of an ongoing investigation.

A short time later a Ford Festiva drove off out the driveway, hitting a female and a male officer before crashing into a gate and driving off. A third officer in the driveway at the time, was able to jump out the way and avoided being hit.

Both officers suffered leg injuries and were taken to the Calvary Hospital.

Police searched the area and located the Ford Festiva abandoned in Barbaro Court, Munno Para West a short time later.

The suspect is believed to have driven off in a red Mitsubishi sedan, which was tracked to Ryan Road and Supple Road, Waterloo Corner.

Police Dog Cooper and STAR Group officers attended and arrested the suspect nearby without further incident.

The 28-year-old Davoren Park has been charged with two counts of assault prescribed emergency worker and three counts of endanger life. He is expected to be refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The Ford and the Mitsubishi were both seized by police along with a stolen Holden sedan which was located at the Heytesbury Road address

Police are investigating an incident involving rock throwing at Whyalla Norrie on Tuesday night.

About 6.15pm on Tuesday 7 September, a boy aged 8 to 10 years is alleged to have thrown a rock at a white Mitsubishi ute.  The incident occurred on the roadway at the roundabout on Mcdouall Stuart Avenue and Nicholson Avenue, Whyalla Norrie.

The boy is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, wearing a green hooded jacket and dark jeans.  He was with an older teenager who is described as being of Aboriginal appearance,  wearing a white t-shirt, shorts and red shoes.

The vehicle was not damaged and the driver was uninjured.

Police attended and searched the area but the boy could not be located.

Police were also called to several other incidents of rock throwing on the same day but it is not known if the incidents were linked.  Investigations are continuing

You needn't even mention race when it's a Rock Throwing Crime. You know it's Boongs!
