Man orders mild curry and gets receipt marked 'white ppl' — you won't believe how the restaurant responded

A DINER who ordered a mild curry from a local Indian restaurant was left speechless when he opened the receipt to find "WHITE PPL" on it.

The Mirror reports that Stuart Lynn spent nearly $70 on the takeaway meal at the UK establishment after asking for a venison curry to be brought out "mild," along with a few other dishes.

It wasn't until Lynn arrived home that he noticed "VERY MILD, WHITE PPL," on the receipt.

"I was not happy at all. It said 'white people' next to my curry," he told The Mirror.

"It implies we can't deal with strong curries. I do like a hot curry sometimes.

"I just fancied a mild one for a change. I thought it was very rude of them.

"It was the first time I've been in there and I won't be going back."

The restaurant involved, Valentine Restaurant, issued this astonishing apology.

"I have investigated and can confirm it a misunderstanding," owner Ruby Kandasamy said.

"Under white ppl, we don't mean white people, but a white sauce made from milk, single cream, coconut milk and spices we add to our dishes when a curry is requested mild.

"'Ppl' means 'milk.'

"However, we have decided to change the way we inform the kitchen and will mention 'add white ppl' or 'with white sauce' to avoid any confusion with our customers.

"We want to apologise to the customer for any inconvenience and misunderstanding, we hope the curry was nice and he or she will visit us again."

Stuart told The Mirror; "What other colour is milk? I spoke to an Indian friend of mine and 'ppl' doesn't mean milk. They're just trying to get out of it."

What I can't wrap my head around is why anyone would want curry...

Food is food, but it's only edible if it was Made by Whites for Whites.

I think many who go to these mud takeaways get off on the cultural aspects of having their food untouched by human hands.

... It's getting pretty damn hard to go buy takeaway food anywhere where non whites are not involved.  :'( .
