Queensland's biggest melting pot ... so they call it. Logan was always like that, but admittedly it's worse now with the import of more muds. Back when I lived there it was called Woodridge.

Woodridge was renamed Logan Central so as to con new home buyers into the area with the fancy new name - and yet, even when I was living there in the late 80's to early 90's, it was full of Abo gangs fighting each other and anyone White stupid enough to wander around on their own at night. Back then, Whites fought back when they had to, but we still outnumbered the muds. Police were more of a problem as they ignored Abo gang violence in favour of persecuting Whites driving or walking down the road - even when the Abos camped out on the grass in front of the local pub for a week or more and terrorised the patrons it was ignored by the police and local government. If you were growing up in Woodridge, you obtained transportation of your own as soon as possible and moved away. Woodridge was small enough that you could move a suburb away and be free of the rail-reliant, black pedestrian scum.

Apart from the Abo gangs - and the occasional Maoris (who were not a problem at the time as their numbers were quite low), it was essentially a White working class neighbourhood, and as long as you got away from Woodridge itself, you could get yourself a life ... but NEVER tell your potential employer and future landlord that you come from Woodridge! Even so, I was lucky as I was always considered an outsider because to me it was just a place to live and I could come and go as I wanted. I had a motorcycle to go where I liked and the money for a taxi to meet with friends at half-decent Whites Only night spots. And later I also had a car, wife and kid and got out of that dump ASAP.

The last time I was there would have been 94. I had just been to see a lawyer about an insurance claim and a couple of coons tried it on. When they realised I was prepared to fight them both, they took off. Basically it was an attempted typical amateurish Abo mugging that relies on terror because the average Abos can't or wont fight unless they outnumber you five to one. I've had the same before and I've had it since - even in Adelaide (South Australia) for you locals - and I know I'll have to put up with it again in the future.

And Australians try to tell me that this kind of thing never happens. Naive idiots! Now you know some of the reasoning behind why I fight against ongoing institutionalised anti-White racism, JOG backed Black Supremacism and the imported mud invasion.

Both residences are in the epicentre of Woodridge itself.

Maori Wardens established in Logan after thriving in New Zealand

Logan City is home to the first branch of the Maori Wardens.

Loganlea's Rawiri Toko started the city branch after deciding the group would fit well in Logan and benefit the community.

Now it's not just Maori Wardens he wants to help the community but wardens from all cultures that make up Logan.

"Mainly the reason we started was to help our people a little bit at different events, and not just our people but anyone who needed the Maori Wardens, but that's just the small picture," he said.

"The bigger picture is starting up different ethnic groups of wardens. We want to open it up and we want to walk the streets of Logan with different groups of people.

"We also want to take it Australia-wide and Melbourne has been the next step for me. We're trying to make a difference with our people anywhere we can."

According to a New Zealand government website, http://www.tpk.govt.nz/en/in-focus/wardens Maori Wardens is a voluntary service and their members "can be seen at a number of community events, providing security, traffic control, crowd control, first aid and confidence for the public".

"The Maori Wardens Project is a Government initiative to build the capacity and capability of Maori Wardens with a particular focus on youth, safer communities and community reassurance" the site states.

Locally, the group is also encouraging the younger generation to take up community volunteering with its youth council which currently has eight members.

"It's time to get our youth involved so we're teaching our youth how to talk to people on the streets, how to communicate and work alongside their peers," Mr Toko said.

"They start at the age of 14 and when they turn 18 they become a full-fledged warden."

The father of a young South Korean woman murdered in an inner-city Brisbane park has described his daughter as his biggest treasure who was 'bigger than life itself'.

Eunji Ban was murdered in the early hours of Sunday morning just weeks after arriving in Australia.

Wearing a black tie, Hyeonggyu Ban said the loss of his daughter was impossible to describe.

'To a parent, your children are your biggest treasure,' he told reporters at Queensland police headquarters in Brisbane.

'My daughter was my hope and she was bigger than life itself.

'For me as a parent, the loss of my daughter was sadness and despair - it is impossible to express with words.'

Mr Ban, who spoke through a translator, was flanked by Eunji's uncle Seongkyu Ban, who carried a framed picture of his niece.

He had flown to Brisbane from the port city of Busan earlier this week.

'There is nothing to replace her,' Hyeonggyu Ban said.

A 19-year-old man, Alex Reuben McEwan, has faced court charged with Ms Ban's murder.

THE distraught families of three young women dragged from the footpath and murdered as they made their way to or from work have warned it is no longer safe to walk the streets.
