DETECTIVES from Strike Force Trident arrested five males overnight, wanted in relation to a number of offences committed in Darwin, Palmerston and Casuarina.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said the males, aged 13-37, were allegedly involved in offences committed from June through to August this year.
"On 9 June a 37-year-old man allegedly unlawfully entered a car dealership in Stuart Park and attempted to steal a vehicle. The man was disturbed by responding security guards and fled the scene," Det Snr Sgt Stringer said.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested yesterday for his alleged involvement in the theft of an iPad, two sets of car keys and a Toyota Corolla on 6 July from a home in Durack.
Det Snr Sgt Stringer said a 16-year-old is believed to have broken into a vehicle parked in Palmerston on August 17 and stolen an iPhone.
He said police also arrested a 14-year-old male and a 16-year old male for their alleged involvement in the theft of approximately $1,000 from a store in Casuarina on August 25. Both have been remanded in custody.

CHIEF Minister Adam Giles said he was "deeply disturbed" by the high level of domestic violence in the community and announced a forum to discuss ways to encourage Aboriginal men to play a more positive role in their communities.
Mr Giles said the forum would be organised by indigenous men's campaigner and ABC sports presenter Charlie King together with Catholic Care NT.

He said it would be a chance for him to listen to the concerns and ideas of Aboriginal men and make sure Government policies matched what was happening on the ground.
"I am deeply disturbed by the high levels of family violence in our community and I want to do more to prevent it," he said.

"Part of this is working with men to build them up.
"I am keen to hear what the men think about the Government's current approach and look forward to discussing where I can concentrate more effort."    Mr Giles said indigenous men also had high levels of welfare dependency, alcohol abuse and incarceration, and he wanted to see more preventative programs.

"I believe some Aboriginal men need a greater supportive framework in place to help them break away from welfare, stay out of the justice system and avoid alcohol abuse," he said.


Jesus! What more assistance are you meant to give them? Australia is a technologically advanced nation! There is no place for cave men and their :-primitive, violent, childlike and hot-headed ways. The big fish ate the little fish, a harsh rule of nature.. but what can you do?
Telling a coon to stop being a coon is kinda like forcing a Labrador to become a Dingo.
All you can do to shut them up and do something positive is :- get them involved in  Art, sport or music... however fertiliser and Bio-diesel have to come from someplace too!

The remote central Australian community of Yuendumu is celebrating one year without a major violent incident.
A peace and mediation process has been operating in the community in a bid to bring a feud between rival families to an end.
The Central Desert Shire president, Adrian Dixon, says the reconciliation process is working and peace has returned to the community.
"I'm really proud about the people in Yuendumu that we have solved our own problems and built harmonies and as the president of the Central Desert Shire I'm really proud of what the Mediation and Justice Committee did," he said.

A WOMAN has been assaulted by a man before fighting him off using martial arts techniques.
Detective Superintendent Brent Warren said the woman was walking along Kempe Street, Alice Springs at 6.15am on Saturday 14 September when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. 
"The offender has proceeded to indecently assault the woman. Using self defence tactics the woman was able to escape.
"He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, between 20-30 years old medium build, approximately 175cm tall with wavy black hair.

POLICE have released an image of a man they would like to speak to about the indecent assault of a woman, 24, in Alice Springs.
The woman used self defence tactics to fight off her attackers after being allegedly indecently assaulted by a man on Kempe Street at 6.15am on Saturday.
He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, between 20-30 years old, medium build, approximately 175cm tall with wavy black hair.
He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with white coloured writing, dark blue jeans with a rip on the right knee and skate shoes (possibly Converse or Vans).





Look at the dirty troll! I hope they catch him and lock this creature up for many years!

Two 18-year-old men have each been sentenced to 15 years in prison for the gunpoint rapes of two women tourists at Alice Springs.
In the Northern Territory Supreme Court, Justice Dean Mildren chose to sentence the offenders, Ginger Green and Norman Kernan, under the Youth Justices Act rather than the Sentencing Act.
Both were juveniles aged 17 when they repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted a Finnish woman and a German woman visiting Alice Springs.
The court heard how the women had been camping in their four-wheel drive vehicle in May 2012 when the offenders smashed the windows and raped them at gunpoint.
In a court sitting at Alice Springs this afternoon, the pair were convicted on eight counts of sexual intercourse without consent, and one count of armed robbery.
Justice Mildren said these were outrageous offences, with devastating consequences for the victims.
Suppression orders preventing the men's identity from being revealed were revoked yesterday.
Justice Mildren set non-parole periods of nine years for both men.

DETECTIVES are investigating after two unknown males unlawfully entered a home in Ludmilla and assaulted a 37-year-old woman.
The incident occurred at around 9.50pm on Thursday September 26. 
Police said the first male is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 40-years-old, 170cm tall with a medium build, short messy wavy black hair and thick eyebrows.   
He was wearing a white t-shirt with black writing on the front, long black pants and black runners. 
The second male is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 40-years-old, 170cm, of a  medium build with a mono brow, a thin black moustache, shoulder length orange hair and a thick scar on the right side of his face.   
He was wearing brown tracksuit pants, a black or grey t-shirt and dark runners.
