A MAN who was listed as one of Australia's most-wanted fugitives has been captured in South Australia and was extradited to the NT.
Te-Hara Hetaraka, 23, allegedly robbed a taxi driver at Anula, in Darwin, in September 2011.
He was due to face court in November 2011, but breached his bail three times and went on the run until he was captured in Adelaide on Friday.
Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Matt Allen from the Serious Crime Squad said his extradition was part of a joint operation between NT and South Australian police.
"He is to face charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and stealing," Act Sen-Sgt Allen said.
Mr Hetaraka arrived at Darwin Airport about midday yesterday, where the media and police were waiting.     He told reporters: "Yeah, I'm just going to do my time."

A WOMAN said she was told the Hells Angels would make her "go missing" if she spoke to anyone about a body she saw in the back of a ute.

Annika Ulrich , 22, told the NT Supreme Court she saw the body of Levi "Leafy" Griffiths hanging out of the back of Hells Angel bikie Nicholas 'Shonky' Cassidy's ute while the vehicle was parked outside a tattoo shop at Coolalinga in the early hours of June 4, 2011.

The Crown alleges Ms Ulrich and three others met Mr Cassidy at the tattoo shop just after he had run over Mr Griffiths killing him on Girraween Rd less than 2km away.

Ms Ulrich told the court her boyfriend at the time, Jamie "Beamo" Schmidt, told her to never talk about what she saw.

"I was told that I would go missing, that things would happen," Ms Ulrich said. 
"(He said) if I went to the police I would be a dog."

A WOMAN who stole a mobile phone from a man who had been bashed unconscious by
male associate has been ordered to undertake a Community Corrections Order to perform 100 hours of unpaid community work.
The County Court sitting at Mildura was yesterday told that 18-year-old Agar Yak had been consuming wine with two co-accused men for about five hours before the assault and theft took place.

Crown prosecutor David O'Doherty said Yak and the two men left the house in Chapman Street, Swan Hill, in the early hours of January 21 after a 21-year-old co-accused had made repeated references about wanting to knock out a white boy, drag him inside the house, cut his throat and kill him.


Mr O'Doherty said the group were walking along Chapman Street when the 22-year-old victim was seen walking towards them.

The prosecutor said the 21-year-old male commented "let's bash him up" before he confronted the victim and said to his co-accused in his native Sudanese language that he wanted to "cut the white boy's head off".

He said another 21-year-old co-accused male – Chol Monydhot – told his co-accused male associate to leave the victim alone and the trio began to walk away.
However, the court was told the aggressor ran from Yak and Monydhot towards the victim and after a brief chase, punched him to the face.
The victim lost consciousness and fell heavily to the bitumen road before the co-accused punched him twice more to the head and twice kicked him to the head "with great force".
The attacker then commented to Yak and Monydhot that they should take the victim inside and cut his head off, but he fled the scene.
Mr O'Doherty said Yak and Monydhot dragged the man into the front yard of the house where they had earlier been consuming alcohol – next door to the victim's house – and stole $25 and an iPhone while the man was still unconscious.

The pair then dragged him inside the house and put him in a bed in the front bedroom before police arrived.


The prosecutor said the two accused told police they found the man unconscious in the front yard and had helped to put him to bed, but later admitted their roles in the offending.


He said injuries to the victim included a fractured skull, fluid on his brain, broken nose, black eyes, bloodied and swollen mouth and grazing.



The court was told the victim was taken to Swan Hill Base Hospital and was later transported to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne for further treatment on the day of the attack.



Counsel for Yak, Phillip Bloemen, told the court his client had been "in the wrong place with the wrong people at the wrong time".



Mr Bloeman said Yak's male co-accused were "bad news" and her mother had earlier warned her to stay away from the men.

The counsel said Yak was still living with her mother and helping her to operate a childcare business in Swan Hill, however a conviction on charges of theft and assisting an offender would come close to excluding her from obtaining the necessary working with children accreditation for future employment.

Four bikies, believed to be from the new gang Soldiers of Islam, have been arrested after a wild brawl at Mermaid Tavern this afternoon.
Soldiers of Islam, also known as Sons of Islam, is believed to be an offshoot of outlaw bikie gang the Bandidos, which has a clubhouse at Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast.
Sources say the gang, comprising young Muslim men who sport "SOI" tattoos, has sprung up on the Glitter Strip in recent years.

A DARWIN DJ will spend 18 months in jail for counselling a former senior sailor to steal 14 high-powered weapons from a navy patrol boat for an outlaw bikie gang.
Chief Justice Trevor Riley today sentenced James Hau to a head sentence of three years, but he will be released after 18 months.
It took five hours for the NT Supreme Court jury - of seven women and five men - to make the guilty decision yesterday, with one juror shedding a tear after the forewoman read the guilty verdict to the court.
Hau encouraged and pressured ex-Leading Seaman Matthew Peter Robert Evans to steal two pump-action shot-guns and 12 semi-automatic pistols from HMAS Bathurst for the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Club on November 29 last year.
Evans, who was a boatswain's mate and officer-in-charge of the armoury, was given a discount of one year and nine months for cooperating with the authorities and promising to testify against his disc jockey friend.
He is expected to be released in about 19 months.     Justice Riley said the charge of procuring and counselling a crime such as this was a "serious offence".
During the two-day trial, the court heard that Hau introduced Evans to the club's elite member Jared Davis, who was interested in what weapons the sailor had access to and whether he could get his hands on them.

JUSTICE Peter Barr has started summing up the prosecution case against a former Hells Angels gang member accused of covering up a fatal hit-and-run.
Ex-bikie Nicholas "Shonky" Cassidy, 50, is defending a charge he perverted the course of justice by tampering with evidence following the death of Levi Griffiths on June 4, 2011.
The NT Supreme Court trial has been running since August 2.
The Crown has alleged that Mr Cassidy used paint, bleach and fly spray on the front of his utility to cover-up evidence he hit Mr Griffiths in Coolalinga.
He is also accused of moving his body to a service road off the Stuart Highway.
Justice Barr told the jury that the Crown has relied on covertly recorded telephone conversations between Mr Cassidy's associates and the damage to his ute to prove their case.    He is yet to sum-up the defence case.
