I downloaded and watched this documentary and found it both disappointing and rewarding. Disappointing in the fact that the film makers refused to describe the appearance of the "Cloud People"; and rewarding in that the film confirmed possible many preconceptions I had about these ancient Peruvian White people. The building of their mountain city began at approximately the same time that the Vikings were travelling to and fro between America and Europe. It is entirely plausible that a small fleet of Vikings followed the coast South to Central America; walked across central America to the West of the Andes; and settled in a region that any Viking of that period would have thought perfect. In a repeat of the Vikings in Europe making use of the Eastern European river system as a watery freeway, the "Cloud People" did the same in South America.

Also, like the Viking settlers in Greenland, the "Cloud People" were democratic. Viking settlers being ordinary folk, tended not to assume the roll of royalty where there was none. However, the "Cloud People," like the Vikings again, were fierce warriors, ready to go to war in an instant behind their war-chief.

In my opinion, the "Cloud People" were pre-Christian Vikings that went native, transforming their pagan beliefs and traditions over a thousand years until they were barely recognisable.

The total disappearance of old Norse is also understandable if you consider that a small fleet of mostly men would have taken native women as wives. If every White man had two or three native wives, then the population would have had a very small gene pool to begin with and therefore would have been able to maintain their own genetic distinctiveness amidst a brown swamp of muddy DNA. That being the case, the native women would have raised their White children while their husbands were away hunting and trading. Give it a few generations and the language of the native mothers becomes dominant and eventually replaces that of the absent White fathers. Meanwhile the religion of the White fathers metamorphoses into a cross between the native and the European pagan traditions.

I look forward to future DNA testing of the "Cloud People." Although I suspect DNA testing will never occur because of the fear that showing White men and women in South America in the first millennium is politically correct career suicide - in the same way that it's career suicide for scientists to go against the politically correct flow and declare man-made global warming to be bogus.

I watched the first video clip posted by Ian here, which is an interview with a woman named Jessie Roestenberg of Staffordshire, England.

It must be said, I found this woman to be most convincing.

But with ever an enquiring mind and a willingness to unearth a rational explanation for these strange happenings, I decided to do a little research into this woman's background.

She claimed that her children witnessed this event, so one must wonder, would her children, after all these years, corroborate her story?

After a quick google search I soon discovered that Jessie and her family were (are?) members of the Church of Latter Day Saints: Mormons. Mormons who (apparently) believe(d) themselves to be in contact with 'celestial' forces, which are described in their holy scriptures.

The author of this piece, John Bainbridge, is a believer in aliens/UFO's himself, and concludes that 'extraterrestrial beings' were in direct contact with and in control of the Roestenberg family.

To quote Bainbridge directly: 'Here we have a religious organisation (and not by any means an evil one, mind you) under direct though unseen control by extraterrestrial or interdimensional beings, from outside of our ken, who can manipulate our way of life, hopefully for the good, but in a manner quite unsuspected by the rank and file of humanity.'

So very strange. Why are these people so eager to jump to such bizarre conclusions, as above? Why not come to the obvious, or most likely conclusion, that the Roestenberg family, as pleasant and well meaning as they may have been, were simply drunk on religion and dreamt up these wild tales? People who perhaps followed these crazy writings of Benjamin Smith with such ardour that they managed to dream up and believe these ludicrous stories?

That makes sense to me. What do my fellow Creators think?

When you get right down to it, Mormons are not that much different from the Scientologists. Belief in aliens screwing monkeys to create people ... or Nordic aliens screwing muds to create White people.

If there's any difference, I don't see it.
