If you found those in Australia and announced it, the Abos would demand to know where you got them and declare it a sacred site. If it was on your land, you basically lose it or at least lose all control of your own land.

Abos here have a habit of turning up at housing auctions and claiming the land to be sacred sites and offering a pittance of a price for the homes. You eventually find out that they claim that there is an Abo "midden" or garbage dump in the backyard. Most of us suspect the Abos find out where the auctions are, dump some old oyster and clam shells in the backyard and then stake their claims.

apparently: the local boongs tried to claim the land there, but the owner of the property pointed out these rock-paintings of European-looking people and told them: "they were here first!...so....youse can FCK off!"

I'm glad we don't have those laws  ( yet )     If you are on  Wildlife Management areas around here ,  you're

not supposed to pick up artifacts and keep them .   I'm sure  no one really  pays much attention to it though.

The Abos here do as they please. One of the worst for the story Rev. Cambeul was saying about house auctions was an ex-football player. He made plenty of money over his career but still makes use of his mud blood to screw over the average White homebuyer.
