CHICAGO (AP) — The lawyer for a blogger accused of threatening to kill three Chicago-based federal judges says his client has been an FBI informant.

Attorney Michael Orozco also says his client gave authorities information about a plot to assassinate President Barack Obama.

Orozco made the statement during a bond hearing Tuesday after his client, extremist blogger Hal Turner, pleaded not guilty. Turner is accused of telling visitors to his Web site that the three judges "deserve to be killed" for upholding Chicago's ban on handguns.

But federal prosecutor William Hogan told the judge that he'd "never heard anything about that" and that Turner's contacts with the FBI ended "some time ago."

A blogger who once kept tabs on extremist groups as a paid informant for the FBI was ordered held without bail Monday while awaiting trial on charges that he threatened the lives of three federal judges.

At the hearing, prosecutors acknowledged that for several years Turner was a paid FBI informant, saying in a letter to his lawyers he had supplied information on "right-wing white nationalist and white supremacist groups."
Turner e-mailed agents in November 2007 with word that Ku Klux Klan members were planning an arson at Middle Tennessee State University because a student there had been "willfully antagonizing folks in the pro-white movement."

Prosecutors said the relationship between Turner and the FBI had ended some time ago. But as recently as last November, Turner told federal marshals about a man who spoke of wanting to "lob mortars" into the rally held on election night in Chicago's downtown Grant Park that was celebrating President Barack Obama's election.

I remember that incident.  Some of you may remember that I posted on Stormfront that it was James Logsdon of TCM that was taken into FBI custody for questioning from that Hal Turner's tip.  It would not suprise me that Logsdon actually was stupid enough to say something like that to Turner.

Hal Turner Gets Dirtier

It turns out that Hal Turner was a highly trained intelligence operative for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) from 2003 through 2008 and actually contributed to the FBI's mission starting back in 1993. (Note: that's when the militias started.)
In that role, Turner was highly trained as to exactly what speech was lawful and what was not. He was "tasked" by the JTTF to use fiery rhetoric so as to flush-out crazies before they attacked. It was a very successful intelligence operation that netted more than 100 federal subjects.

(TT: It's my personal belief he turned in Grandmother Elizabeth's husband, Arnie -- who was held without bail for months for having reloading equipment in his basement.)
The defense plans to introduce memos from the United States Attorney Generals John Ashcroft, McClusky and later Alberto Gonzales which laid out the relationship between Turner and ZOG/Jog. They will also produce FBI memos, pay sheets showing the FBI budgeted $100,000 or more per year for Turner, and correspondence between the FBI and then-U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Christopher Christie detailing the training, pay and operating parameters of the intelligence operation code named "Valhalla." (And the rat fink Jew boy was always crying for money!)

Chris Christie was elected Governor of New Jersey earlier this month, and his involvement in this FBI operation could prove to be his first scandal.
FBI memos describe Turner as "irreplaceable" and go on to say his being with the JTTF is "... crucial ...to the prevention of domestic terrorism and lone wolf attacks in the United States."

In the years Turner served the FBI he uncovered Narcotics funding of terrorist groups, unlawful manufacturing and distribution of silencers for hand guns, he stopped the black market sale of Military Hardware used in Stealth aircraft, located a pipe bomb maker, prevented the arson-murder of a Jewish college student in Tennessee and much more.

Turner's main attorney, Michael Orozco of New Jersey, said after the brief court session that FBI documentation he has received details Turner's alleged relationship as an informant for the FBI from 2003 through 2008. Orozco said that, for now, he can only share the FBI documents with Connecticut prosecutors. He said they include pay sheets showing the FBI budgeted $100,000 or more a year for Turner as part of its Joint Terrorism Task Force, as well as correspondence between then-U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Christopher Christie and the FBI detailing parameters of the project, dubbed "Vahalla."

Jurors deadlocked Monday in the Brooklyn trial of an Internet radio shock-jock charged with threatening to kill three Illinois federal appellate judges.

A mistrial was declared after the jury deadlocked 9 to 3 in favor of acquitting Harold (Hal) Turner who was originally indicted in Illinois, where the three judges preside on the U.S. Court of Appeals.

"I did think he (Turner) was a threat," juror Richard Gardener, 58, of Long Island, told reporters outside the courtroom.

"He's a publicity seeker and he wants to be a bigger force than he was. By acquitting him, he would become bigger and stronger."
