You know what I find astounding?  That the "ancient alien" groups put humanity and our ingenuity down.  Archimedes knew leverage was all you need to "move the world".   Why can we no longer move stoned that large now?  Because we don't  have to anymore.  We forgot.  Most people can't make a fire with 2 sticks, why?  Because we have lighters.  No need.   When you become an advanced society, you no longer need to understand intricate stoneworking.  We have concrete and pourable forms.

It's like saying that there is a conspiracy to forget dead languages.  It's no conspiracy.  The telephone was the first seen decline in different languages simply because we learned that it was easier to communicate with others if we spoke their language...  over the years, ancient language go away as new ideas and new ways of thinking progress, it's not bad, it's not aliens, it's just natural human history.
