I just can't believe it! The houses illustrated in the article worth $5.1 NZD you could buy for under $500K AUD in a decent neighbourhood in Adelaide super easily!

You can buy a 1960's brick 3 bedroom house on it's own block in Adelaide's north for under $300K AUD.

And look how close the house is to the neighbours , it has to crash at some point the average couple who both work can't even afford a deposit , a average deposit is just over a hundred grand and some people with there hundred grand savings still get rejected ,

The average family had something like this 1950-2000.
Then people wanted retirement money and the council allowed them to demolish this two put two smaller homes on the block.


Now , they tell "Chindia" that if they buy a business here they can have a visa also if they pay for it and buy a new home to kickstart the building industry.

So we gave a lot of ugly neighbourhoods popping up that look like Lego kits!


We call them "Curry boxes" . As you can see there is bugger all space, crap parking. Made out of :- prefab cement, gyprock, blue board with render and either metal or timber frame. No more double brick! No bloody backyard.

All homes built need rain tank capabilities to be able to flush your loo with and two button cistern that flush 8L mandatory.

If they demolish the old 3 bedroom homes to put 2 x homes on the block + , then parking spaces on the road dwindle , the sewerage pipes must be bigger with infrastructure to support more traffic and roads need extra lanes.

As long as these old bastards can get some retirement money like $1m AUD from demolishing homes to sell two "curry boxes" on the block they can go live in Thailand like a king and buy some 19 year old gook wife! They got like 15 years on the clock. They don't care about Australia's future.

Now what you are talking is next level! Couples need $100k NZD deposit and they still get rejected?! You'd never pay the place off if it were $5.1 that is Absurd!
You are being financially displaced out of your nation and live like a bum in some garage! The rate of pay isn't going to help you at all it is so low! No wonder so many kiwis move to Australia to work to save up and go back to NZ eventually?!

Yea my friend went for a 3 bedroom home in a average area , he had a hundred and five grand deposit , he's a contractor , his Mrs works full time but earns under 65 K a year so they got rejected they would have to move out to the country to get a house . And the stupid mandates don't help .
