SENTENCING killer drivers is "extremely disheartening" for courts because state law demands they serve mandatory penalties while drug dealers, sex offenders and armed robbers do not, a judge says. "In every respect, apart from the commission of this serious offence, he (the driver) has been a good citizen," he said.

"Dare I say, of all the crimes one has to sentence for in this court, this is the one that troubles most judges.

"More often than not, the offender is a man of otherwise good character and yet four-fifths is the minimum non-parole period.

"That's not the case if I was sentencing a sex offender, a drug dealer, an armed robber.

In a series of secret telephone calls, an alleged neo-Nazi leader warned a supporter that a friend might have "squealed" to the police, a court has been told. In a series of secret telephone calls, the alleged leader of South Australia's neo-Nazi movement boasted about watching the hit TV show Married At First Sight while on remand and alleged his "dog c**t" flatmate "squealed" to the police and had sexual intercourse with his girlfriend after he was arrested.

The phone calls were revealed on the third day of Cameron Brodie-Hall's trial at Adelaide District Court. Mr Brodie-Hall is charged with possessing extremist material and material that could be of practical use for a terrorist act.

In the calls, which were played in court, Mr Brodie-Hall expresses pride in his Nazi ideology, signing off one call with a National Socialist Network follower with the words "blood and honour", a catchphrase for neo-Nazis. Mr Brodie-Hall also tells his fellow fascist he will not give up names to the police because it would be "dishonourable".

"Just tell the boys I love them, I'm doing all right," Mr Cameron Brodie-Hall said.

He also boasts about the support of his family, his "non-political friends" and how he had secured enough money together for the "best lawyer" in Adelaide.

"I got like the most expensive one in Adelaide," he said.

Defence lawyer Craig Caldicott is appearing for Mr Brodie-Hall. Mr Brodie-Hall, the alleged leader of the SA Men's Health Club, a front group for the fascist National Socialist Network, is contesting the charges against him.

AFP Joint Counter Terrorism Team Detective Scott Dawson led the investigation into Mr Brodie-Hall and arrested him in 2022 at a unit he shared with flatmates Jackson Trevor Pay and Duncan Robert Cromb in Adelaide's north.

The charges against Mr Brodie-Hall relate to two books uncovered by the police in the unit's communal bookshelf.

One of the books recommends four methods of covert direct action to help spark a Nazi revolution, including assassinations, terror bombings, the sabotage of infrastructure and terror campaigns directed at "the enemy".

The book was seized in an April 2021 raid.

This therefore means that they have no protection or rights to freedom of speech, freedom of thought, and freedom of association under the law as would any politically correct Left-Wing or Black genuinely violent terrorist. The argument that the government uses is that Left-Wing and non-Whites are not violent people. If an actively violent member of Antifa (for example) has the same source material, it is not considered to be a crime because he ideologically opposes today's defined standards of what is referred to as Terrorism. Even a Muslim may today talk about violent jihadism, but that is his right and is defined as protected freedom of speech - it is only his deeds that matter. An Aboriginal, or self-hating White Antifa member may be violent in the name of Black Power, with an intent to cause fear and panic. However that cannot be deemed as terroristic in nature, just as their violent behaviour cannot be deemed racist in nature. In Australia, if you are Black, you can chase the Prime Minister through the streets while calling for that Prime Minister's murder; an Aboriginal would receive less of a sentence for the deliberate murder of a White Australian just because he is White; but if you are White, you cannot read a book without risk of arrest and imprisonment. When you are White, everything depends on your political stance - politically correct or politically criminal? Thought Criminal? Somebody will call eventually Thought Police on you!

Patrick Patmore - shows the conviction and sentencing of the former SA Treasurer for the group. He built actual explosives, had "Terrorist" reading material the same as the others, and was only sentenced to Home Detention? He should be treated as a  RAT! It looks like he used his position as Treasurer to hand over information on all members and acquaintances of the group. In all fairness, I must state that I could be wrong - this is just an opinion - but his sentence/treatment by police and courts, when compared with the others, just does not look right. On Thursday, Cameron Brodie-Hall's family wept in court as they heard a District Court Judge had not been convinced by prosecutors that he had extremist material in his possession.

Mr Brodie-Hall, 22, pleaded not guilty to possessing both instructions to commit assassinations and terrorist acts, and extremist material.

Prosecutors alleged he had kept the illegal documents in a bookcase – adorned with a Nazi flag – in a house he shared with two other members of the SA Men's Health Club.
