Racial Greetings. I received your letter dated the 27th of September on Friday the 4th of November.

First off, I must say that I did not know that you existed until I received your letter. The reason for that is that Matthew Dibble of Illinois had disobeyed my orders to keep me updated with all prison and other contact addresses. Secondly, as I found out from other prison contacts, Dibble had made promises to pass on information, poetry and stories from prisoners to be added to the Church website and Creator Forum. This he did not do. So, if you have been communicating with Dibble under the impression that you are well known ... you weren't known at all.

You are now known to Creators because I posted your letter, word for word, on Creator Forum. For which Dibble contacted me with an email full of abuse and accused me of making it up.

I tell you now that the Creativity Alliance incorporating your Church of Creativity is alive and well. Also, while brothers like yourself will undoubtedly show up from time to time, nothing has really changed with the Church Prison Ministry. The incompetent Dibble and the treacherous profiteer he vouched for, Newland are behind us, and we have moved on.

At one time I used to appoint someone to lead the Prison Ministry – to be the main contact for prisoners in America. However, after Dibble's stab in the back abandonment of Creativity, I have no intention of appointing anyone, ever, to another position in America.

The other thing is that our appointed Pontifex Maximus, Reverend Doctor Joe Esposito is getting out of prison next year. PM Joe – Free in 23! Is the slogan we sometimes use. I have known PM Joe for around fifteen years now. While PM Joe has been a Creator since 1974/1AC. PM Joe was in touch with the Church Founder, Ben Klassen, back in Florida, and he lived on the Church Property in NC. PM Joe is highly experienced, and extremly influential in his own field. That is why I appointed Joe as PM, and that is why I will assist Joe however he needs it in my capacity as Church Administrator when he is free in 23. PM Joe will appoint dedicated, proven and competent Creators to Church positions in America when the time is right. In the meantime, as founder of the Creativity Alliance, a former Pontifex Maximus myself, and as Church Administrator, I control all aspects of the Church, and I tell you now that it is one of our most hard learned rules that no prisoner is to ever have responsibility for Church affairs outside their own jurisdiction. And that, for the moment, includes PM Joe.

So of course, while I thank you for your dedication and willingness to stand up and accept responsibility within the Church, I cannot allow it. However, I will not stand in your way to liaise with other Creators behind bars. And in fact, I encourage it. So I include PM Joe's address along with Reverend John Barletta's.

Reverend John is doing a sentence of a thousand years. His crime was defending his right to possess our holiest of books, the White Man's Bible. He is a true prison martyr. I've known Rev. John for about fifteen years.

Reverend Joel Dufresne is doing a sentence of near 80 years. His crime was being in charge of Creativity's Post Office Box formerly held by Matt Hale. His marriage broke up and the FBI used his former wife as a tool to lock up Reverend Joel. He is another true prison martyr. I have known Rev. Joel for more than twenty years now.

PM Joe too is a prison martyr. Several years ago when his sentence was near completion, a knife was planted in his cell. PM Joe received a further, enhanced sentence, and has been in isolation since 2018.

Finally, if I was to post this letter from Australia, you may not receive it until February next year. So what I'll do is have an American post it for me. If you are in luck, they will have a Post Office Box of their own that you can utilise, instead of posting letters back to Australia. They can copy and email whatever is needed to me. And perhaps they will send a note of their own to you in introduction.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - US Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts temporary blocked a House committee from accessing former President Donald Trump's tax returns on Tuesday, according to a court order.

"It is ordered that the mandate of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, case No. 21-5289, is hereby stayed pending further order of the undersigned or of the Court," the order read.

The House Committee on Ways and Means must file a response to the application by November 10.

Trump, who has refused to make his tax returns public per the norm for US presidents, had appealed to the Supreme Court to dodge the committee's request.

The committee had argued that it needs his tax returns as part of its investigation into the IRS' auditing process for presidents.

The US Court of Appeals had upheld a previous court ruling allowing the committee to access Trump's records. Without Roberts' intervention, the ruling would have gone into effect Thursday.

Fetterman falters again while answering questions after debate disaster

John Fetterman, the Democratic candidate for Senate in Pennsylvania, continued to stumble over his words during an interview on CNN Tuesday when addressing the causes of inflation and describing his Republican opponent's stand on abortion.

Fetterman, who is in the midst of a closely-watched race against GOP celebrity heart surgeon and former TV talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz, used a closed-captioning monitor during the interview — a similar setup to what the Democrat used during the Oct. 25 debate as he continues to recover from a stroke he suffered in May.

And as in the debate with Oz, Fetterman dropped words and appeared to struggle to complete sentences while talking to host Don Lemon.

When asked what he thought was causing inflation, one of the top issues on voters' minds going into next week's midterm elections, Fetterman faltered.

"Well, I just do. I think that simply is — also, let's talk about the trillions in massive tax — tax cuts to the corporate — tax structure is well true," Fetterman answered Lemon.

"Trillions of dollars that have added to the deficit, and now they still want to support those is well true," he said.

"I think in terms of being very serious about addressing inflation is making sure that those rates are brought back in to align with what they should have been, where they're able to fight that deficit," Fetterman added.

Fetterman's response was reminiscent of his answer about his changing views on fracking in Pennsylvania during the debate with Oz.

"I do support fracking, and I don't, I don't — I support fracking, and I stand, and I do support fracking," he said at the time.

On Tuesday, Fetterman told Lemon that he knew taking part in the debate "wasn't going to be easy" but "I thought it was important that I show up. And – and I did."

"And at the end of the day, we did, I think, made some important points, it's well true," he continued. "And I think it also, you know, reminded Dr. Oz the fact that he still believes, you know, with the same kind of abortion thoughts, with [GOP gubernatorial candidate] Doug Mastriano, who believes that local political leaders are the – need to be part of the decision between women and their doctors, is well true."

In the debate, Oz argued against federal government involvement in abortion decisions, implying he would vote against a nationwide ban on most procedures after 15 weeks of pregnancy proposed by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

"As a physician, I've been in the room when there's some difficult conversations happening," Oz said at the time. "I don't want the federal government involved with that at all. I want women, doctors, local political leaders, letting the democracy that's always allowed our nation to thrive to put the best ideas forward so states can decide for themselves."

Fetterman, who holds a narrow lead over Oz in the RealClearPolitics polling average, also sidestepped questions about having his doctors release his full medical records.

"No—I, I just believe that we have our doctors weigh in on that, and they believe that I'm fit, fit to serve, and that's, that's a point that was compatible, made in June, and compatible here just in October," the told Lemon. "And you know, I choose, you know, my real doctors, composed some of the criticism from like, you know, like a 'real doctor' Oz, that's just trying to weaponize, you know somebody that I just had a, had a stroke."

Despite Fetterman's mixed-up answers, Lemon said the candidate fared better in the debate than he expected.

"Dr. Oz, of course, is a smart man and did a great job. But I actually thought, I was expecting worse ... from Fetterman. I was," Lemon said. "

"And I think that people will be more empathetic than we in the media may be letting on to, because they have people who have dealt with these issues."

Rishi Sunak has officially become the UK's new prime minister after Liz Truss' short-lived Downing Street tenure. He is already receiving congratulations from many politicians across the world, and US President Joe Biden is among them... albeit with a twist.

Joe Biden has welcomed the UK's new prime minister, Rishi Sunak – but that's not the name the 46th US president used in his address.

During the White House Diwali event on Tuesday, Biden referred to the new UK leader as "Rashee Sanook" – just as the incoming PM was meeting King Charles III and being tasked with forming a new government.

"We've got news that Rashee Sanook [Rishi Sunak] is now the prime minister," Biden said. "As my brother would say, go figure."

The awkward mispronunciation immediately left netizens in stitches, although some were rather understanding.

"Give him a break, people in the UK are finding it hard to keep up with who the current PM is..." one Twitter user noted.

Others, however, suggested that it was not an accident this time.

"Racial undertones here. He could have taken a few minutes to learn how to pronounce RISHI SUNAK. Or was it deliberate? His mocking smile and laughter from his audience says it all!" another Twitter user said.

The US president is no stranger to gaffes and awkward situations. Hours earlier, before the bizarre "Rashee Sanook" mistake, Biden appeared to lose his way during a tree-planting event on the White House South Lawn on Monday. Hillary Clinton has claimed Republicans "already have a plan" to steal the 2024 presidential election, the latest in a series of wild charges by the former first lady, senator from New York and secretary of state. Correction: Former criminal first lady, criminal senator from New York (she's obviously not originally from New York), and criminal secretary of state.

"Right-wing extremists already have a plan to literally steal the next presidential election, and they're not making a secret of it," Clinton says in the Oct. 21 video from the progressive Marxist organization Indivisible. Nonsense.

"The right-wing-controlled Supreme Court may be poised to rule on giving state legislatures the power to overturn presidential elections," she adds, referring to a case before the high court involving the invalidation of North Carolina's congressional map by a state court. Nonsense.

The case, Moore v. Harper, could give state legislatures more power in regulating elections for federal office.

As a result, Clinton warned, the upcoming presidential election could be decided not by the popular vote, "or even the anachronistic Electoral College," but by Republican-controlled state legislatures. Again, what the hell is she talking about? Nonsense.

In the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump won 304 electoral votes to Clinton's 227, though she received nearly 2.9 million more raw votes than the Republican. It was the largest popular-vote margin in favor of any defeated presidential candidate in US history. Correction: These 2.9 million "raw votes" came from Illegal Alien spics, and other fraudulent methods of voting used by the JOG-Nigger Marxist Party.

Following her loss, Clinton notoriously alleged that the election was stolen from her, comparing it in a 2019 interview with CBS News to "applying for a job and getting 66 million letters of recommendation and losing to a corrupt human tornado." Nonsense.

"He knows he's an illegitimate president," she said of Trump. "I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories — he knows that — there were just a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did." Correction: Actually... Pedo Peter is - he and YOU know that. These "varying tactics, "voter suppression" and "voter purging to hacking false stories" are all that your degenerate criminal party did and still do. These vermin are masters of projecting.

Despite there being no evidence that the 2016 election was anything but aboveboard, Clinton has insisted there is a "widespread understanding" that the election was not conducted legitimately.

Why Jan. 6 Committee's Subpoena Unlikely to Endanger Trump's Potential 2024 Bid

The House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack has voted to subpoena former President Donald Trump. It remains unclear whether the former president will testify, given that the committee risks running out of time.

"First of all, the January 6 committee is a political sham in an effort to prevent President Donald Trump from running again," said Marс Little, lawyer, political commentator, and executive director of Cure America Action, Inc. "Their hope was to have enough to indict him so that somehow that indictment might even lead to jail. It is highly unlikely, given the raid on his home in Mar-a-Lago, which seems to be more of desperation because they didn't have much at all."

The House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack was formed in July 2021 by House Democrats to investigate the Capitol protests in DC over alleged election fraud related to the 2020 presidential race. The Democratic-dominated panel has only two Republicans on its board, with both of them long known for their criticism of ex-President Donald Trump and his Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement. The panel was fiercely criticized by Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who said at the time that "Republicans will not be party to [Pelosi's] sham process and will instead pursue our own investigation of the facts."

Since its inception, the select committee has conducted a series of hearings which have been regarded by conservatives as an attempt to frame Trump and make him appear complicit in some sort of seditious conspiracy and disrupt the former president's new election bid.

Speaking to ABC's This Week on June 19, 2022, Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger, one of two GOP members on the panel, assumed that Trump's actions surrounding the January 6 protests amount to "seditious conspiracy" and "criminal involvement by a president" to challenge Joe Biden's win. Still, according to Little, the assumption does not hold water.

"I'm looking forward to President Trump testifying before the January 6 committee because his side has not had a chance to be heard," Little said. "The reality is that President Trump's very own words were: 'Go to the Capitol peacefully and let your voices be heard.' There's nothing about that that incited violence. Also, Trump authorized the National Guard to protect the Capitol. Both [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of the District of Columbia, Muriel Bowser, declined the protection. So how can someone incite violence while at the same time giving the authorization to prevent violence by authorizing protection?"

Will Trump Testify Before January 6 Panel?

Still, it is not clear whether Donald Trump will testify before the committee, even though the panel voted last Thursday to subpoena the former president. In a lengthy response to the committee's move, Trump didn't say whether he is planning to comply. American legal experts from both sides of the US political aisle suggest that Trump may resort to delaying tactics until January 3, 2023, when Republicans are likely to take the House following the November midterms and wind up the panel.

Thus, Richard A. Serafini, former Justice Department senior trial attorney, referred to earlier cases involving Trump's former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, Jr., Kashyap Patel, and Steve Bannon, which took months to unfold. Serafini suggested in his op-ed for NBC News that even if the Democrats retain the lower chamber, Trump could invoke his right against self-incrimination under the Fifth Amendment. While commenting on whether Trump could be indicted for contempt of Congress if he refuses to comply with the subpoena, the ex-DoJ attorney expressed doubts over the Justice Department taking this step.

For his part, Jonathan Turley, Shapiro professor of public interest law at George Washington University, raised the question as to why the House select committee had delayed subpoenaing Trump and waited until the last hearing, especially if the House may flip to GOP control in a matter of weeks. "If the committee truly wanted to compel Trump's testimony, it should have subpoenaed him in 2021," the lawyer wrote in an op-ed for The Hill. "Yet liberals celebrated the committee's belated move as a 'bombshell ending' instead of asking why it had not been a bombshell beginning."

Still, Little does not rule out that the Dems' attempts to frame Trump over the DC protests will continue even if the House Select Committee on the January 6 Attack winds up after the midterms.

"If and when the Republicans take back the House and the Senate it won't go away, because the Department of Justice is still controlled by a political hack [Attorney General] Merrick Garland [appointed by Joe Biden]," said Little. "And so they may still proceed with their agenda, but it will be very unpopular in America. And the Democrats will continue to suffer consequences for pursuing baseless claims against the former president."

Donald Trump and Hunter Biden Cases

Little has no doubt that the Democratic Party's investigation into Donald Trump is politically motivated, with the Justice Department and the FBI demonstrating a biased approach towards the former president since day one of his presidency. The DoJ and the bureau's handling of the case of Hunter Biden, the son of the incumbent president, came in stark contrast with that, according to the lawyer.

The story of Hunter's "laptop from hell" unveiled by the New York Post in October 2020, prior to the presidential elections, was suppressed by the US intelligence community. 51 former intelligence veterans denounced the damning evidence emanating from the laptop as "Russian disinformation" at the time, thus burying the story. Eventually, independent forensic specialists proved that the data originating from Hunter's device was genuine and belonged to the president's son.

"What is also very troubling is the knowledge that the FBI had heard about this laptop as of December 2019, and they didn't do or say anything about it," said Little. "Hunter Biden's laptop shows that the Biden family is not only corrupt, but they are very likely compromised by their dealings with foreign nations taking money and participating in all manner of pay for play."

The Dems made as many efforts to suppress the Hunter story before the 2020 elections as they are making now to bring focus to what they call Trump's "criminal" conduct during the DC riots. Nonetheless, "the January 6 committee for most Americans is nonexistent and therefore it's not relevant today," Little said. Americans are much more concerned about galloping inflation and growing crime than the Dems' narrative and Biden's branding MAGA as "semi-fascists," according to the lawyer.

"The Democrats have lost their way. And Americans, I believe, in this midterm election, will begin the process of taking back this nation," Little said.

If Republicans take the House this autumn, they will not only dismember the January 6 panel, but are also likely to push ahead with investigations into Hunter and Joe Biden. Speaking to Time Magazine earlier this month, GOP Rep. James Comer from Kentucky explained that Republican members of Congress are investigating Hunter Biden because they believe he's a national security threat, who they fear has compromised Joe Biden. "The Hunter Biden investigation is slowly becoming the Joe Biden investigation," he underscored.

Biden's bogus border crackdown backfiring

President Biden clearly knows his disastrous border policies will hurt Democrats in the midterms, so he's suddenly gestured at doing something — and even that's backfiring.

Last week, his folks announced a deal to halt the flood of Venezuelan migrants at the border by expelling them to Mexico. They also offered a path for 24,000 Venezuelans to enter legally, after finding a US sponsor. (Who needs congressional approval?)

"There is a lawful and orderly way for Venezuelans to enter the United States, and lawful entry is the only way," Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas huffed. "Those who attempt to cross the southern border ... illegally will be returned to Mexico and will be ineligible for this process in the future."

Sounds tough — but Mayorkas (like Biden) has never told the truth about the border, falsely insisting it's been "secure" even as nearly 4 million have crossed illegally since Biden took office. And sure enough, no one took the news seriously: As The Post reported, the waves of Venezuelans have yet to slow one bit.

Nor will they: Sources tell the paper that only a small fraction of Venezuelans will actually be sent back to Mexico. At first, Mexican authorities wouldn't even accept the deportees, and those returned vowed to re-cross anyway; The Post witnessed one doing just that.

Besides, why illegal migrants from just Venezuela and not elsewhere? Word spreads fast, and it's easy enough to claim you're from another country. Correction: Illegal Aliens.

Biden could've avoided this mess by continuing his predecessor's policies, like the Remain in Mexico program, and not signaling that America's door is wide open, so c'mon in. Instead, he's done everything possible to encourage migrants, including pushing to end Title 42, the very law he'll now (pretend to) rely on to expel Venezuelans.

Meanwhile, the torrent of migrants has caused nightmares in America, and not just for border towns: Even Democratic Mayor Eric Adams declared a state of emergency in New York and has pleaded for federal help to address some 20,000 migrants now here. Correction: Nigger-Marxist Scum Eric Adams

All this hurts Dem prospects next in next month's elections. So Biden opted to do something — or at least to pretend. Alas, like his failed plea for Saudis to delay oil-production cuts and keep energy prices down until after the midterms, his Venezuela move was all show. The border crisis will continue until enough Republicans are elected to to stop it.

On Monday, Los Angeles City Council President Nury Martinez bowed to increasing pressure and announced her resignation from the council presidency. A day earlier, audio footage had leaked of her making a series of disparaging remarks about Black people and indigenous Mexicans.


"I sincerely apologize to the people I hurt with my words," Martinez said in the Monday statement, naming several people she had mentioned in the leaked audio. "As someone who believes deeply in the empowerment of communities of color, I recognize my comments undercut that goal. Going forward, reconciliation will be my priority."

It was unclear if she also resigned from the city council.

Martinez's fall from power began just a day earlier when a leaked recording of her speaking to fellow council members Kevin de León and Gil Cedillo and Los Angeles County Federation of Labor President Ron Herrera a year prior was posted on the internet. The Los Angeles Times soon picked up and published the audio and the fury spread.

In the recording, Martinez refers to a Black councilmember's son as a "monkey," referred to another councilmember as being "with the Blacks," and mocked indigenous Oaxacans who live in Koreatown, calling them "a lot of little short dark people" and "ugly."

According to the Times, the words "Nury" and "resign" trended on Twitter for a period on Sunday as Angelenos expressed their outrage. The revelation sparked apologies from Martinez and the other lawmakers in the recording, but no pledges to resign.

Councilman Mike Bonin, whose son had been mocked by Martinez, called on her, De Leon, and Herrera to step down.


"The entirety of the recorded conversation ... displayed a repeated and vulgar anti-Black sentiment, and a coordinated effort to weaken Black political representation in Los Angeles," Bonin and his husband said in a statement.


"Any parent reading her comments will know she is unfit for public office," they said of Martinez. "No child should ever be subjected to such racist, mean and dehumanizing comments, especially from a public official. It is painful to know he will someday read these comments."

Martinez, 48, was the city's first Latina city council president. She had served since January 2020, leading Los Angeles through the COVID-19 pandemic, which ravaged the city. She was replaced by Mitch O'Farrell, another city council member who also previously served as Los Angeles' mayor. He is the first LGBTQ person and first Native American to hold the office. On Monday, Democratic Senator for Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren, took to Twitter to express her support for the Indigenous Peoples' Day, which has replaced Columbus Day in some areas across the US.

In turn, some social media users lashed out against Warren's tweet, remembering an earlier scandal when she said that she identified as a Native American for almost two decades.

Warren, who is 73, claimed Native American heritage when she was teaching at Harvard Law School. Back in 2018, she released a DNA test revealing that she was only between 1/64 and 1/1024 Native American.

Indigenous Peoples' Day, under various names, is celebrated in at least 20 states across the country. In South Dakota, for instance, where there is one of the largest communities of American Indians, the holiday is called Native American Day.

Nevertheless, some Americans still prefer to celebrate the older Columbus Day, which is a federal holiday in the US.

Referring to reports in The Washington Post that federal agents probing Hunter Biden had already obtained "sufficient evidence" to charge the 52-year-old with tax crimes and lying about his drug abuse to buy a gun, Comer predicted that "this is not going to end well" for the 46th POTUS and his son.

According to the lawmaker, Republicans will try to scrutinize at least 150 "suspicious activity reports" about Hunter Biden's financial dealings that the Treasury Department has blocked them in Congress from accessing.

Pointing out that prior to Joe Biden becoming president any member of Congress had access to suspicious activity reports, the lawmaker questioned why one of the first rule changes made by the Democratic POTUS was to amend that.

"Remember that's the banks, and there was more than one bank, that notified the federal government that we believe our client has committed a crime. Now he [Hunter Biden] had 150 of these from at least four different banks, and yet we haven't seen been able to determine the extent of what exactly triggered suspicious activity reports. We're going to request these again from Treasury after the November elections. We are going to expect to have these on day one in January."

Comer voiced GOP confidence that the reports constitute "a pretty sure indication that there was criminal activity" by members of the president's family.


"This is very serious. I am very disappointed that mainstream media hasn't picked up on this because this is a pretty sure indication that there was criminal activity. That means that they were probably doing business with people who had sanctions or countries who America had sanctions against... and the business they were doing was influence peddling."

The Biden family was helping Chinese and Ukrainian energy companies "navigate bureaucracy," offering them backdoor access so they could "start getting a foothold on American energy," Rep. James Comer said. This "criminal activity" allowed the Bidens to receive millions of dollars of direct payments from "crooked, shady Chinese energy companies," he added.

"We're not going to let up... and we'll certainly present the facts to the American people," James Comer stated.

California residents can now acquire a state ID regardless of immigration status under a law signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom on Friday.

A law passed in 2013 allows California residents to obtain a driver's license, but the bill that was signed Friday will allow non-driving residents to acquire a government-issued ID, even if they are not a legal immigrant.

The bill's sponsors framed ID cards as "passports to economic and societal participation" that allow individuals to access banking services, obtain government benefits, and acquire health care.

About 22% of California's nearly 11 million immigrants are in the United States illegally, according to the Public Policy Institute of California.

One day after signing the bill, Newsom traveled to Texas, where he targeted Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for bussing and flying migrants to blue cities, and despite California's 2017 ban on official travel to the Lone Star State.

"The one thing that he did is he broke with precedent, any precedent of decency and honor, his lack of character on display," Newsom said at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin about DeSantis.   - Typical projection by these people. What they accuse others of doing, they themselves have done.

Representative Liz Cheney has been a rare vocal Republican critic of former President Donald Trump. She recently lost a primary challenge from a Trump-endorsed candidate and will be out of Congress in January.

Liz Cheney, a Republican Representative from Wyoming, said on Saturday that she is willing to campaign for Democrats to stop election deniers like Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.

Cheney was speaking at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin, where she said, "partisanship has to have a limit." She also mentioned Virginia governor Glenn Youngkin, who has said he is planning to campaign for Lake.

"He's demonstrated that he's somebody who has not bought into the toxin of Donald Trump — but he campaigned recently for Kari Lake, who's an election denier, who is dangerous," Cheney said. "That's the kind of thing we cannot see in our party. We cannot see an accommodation like that, and I think it's very important that we be clear about that."

When asked if she would consider campaigning for Lake's Democratic opponent, Katie Hobbs, Cheney said that she would. "I am going to do everything I can to make sure that Kari Lake is not elected."

Cheney, who has been a consistent critic of former President Donald Trump for his actions after the 2020 election, has been hinting at a possible presidential run in 2024. If she does decide to run, she will face an uphill battle; only 4% of Republicans indicated they will vote for her over Trump.

It is worth considering if a Cheney endorsement would be valuable for Hobbs. She is exceedingly unpopular with most voters other than Democrats, who are already likely to vote for Hobbs.

According to a Morning Consult poll, taken shortly after Cheney's primary loss to Harriet Hageman in August, only 14% of Republicans view Cheney favorably, compared to 66% who view her unfavorably.

Independents are not much better. Forty-two percent hold an unfavorable view of her, compared to 27% who have a favorable view of the soon-to-be former Representative.

If the hope is to peel off some Republican voters from Lake or convince Independents who are on the fence, putting Hobbs on stage next to Cheney may not be the most effective path to that goal.

The nation is having a contentious debate over whether illegal migrants coming over the southern border should be transported further inland and, if so, where and by whom.

Should they stay in San Antonio or end up in New York City, get bused to a rural town no one has heard of or get flown to one of the most desirable summer spots in the country?

Although this debate has generated much heat and is of great interest to the local authorities involved, it is really beside the point.

The crux of the matter is that the Biden administration dismantled or downgraded every policy that had established control over the southern border under his predecessor and is directly responsible for the record number of illegal immigrants flooding into the country. If the influx weren't so large, there'd be fewer migrants to sign up for the bus trips sponsored by Texas and Arizona to send them north and east to blue cities.

Everyone should agree it'd be much better if President Joe Biden reversed field and sought to control the border. Texas and Arizona would no longer be getting inundated and therefore would have less incentive to send migrants further inland. If that were the case, places like Washington, DC, and New York City wouldn't be receiving thousands of new migrants and wouldn't have to declare emergencies and request the National Guard to help cope.

If the border states are treating migrants as "pawns," give them fewer pieces on the board. If they are engaged in unworthy "stunts," remove the incentive to make theatrical gestures in the first place. Reduce the temperature by controlling the problem at the source.

The truth of the matter is that prior to Texas and Arizona undertaking their programs — and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis adding his attention-grabbing flights to Martha's Vineyard — illegal immigrants were already getting moved around the country, with the assent of the Department of Homeland Security. The federal government gives migrants permission to travel within the country, and private organizations get them on buses to go to their preferred destinations.

Does anyone think this is how our immigration system should work?

Of course, a Biden crackdown at the border is not in the offing. The administration is steadfastly dishonest about the border. Vice President Kamala Harris says the border is "secure," and any problems only result from "a broken immigration system." Well, yes, the border is secure in the sense that the Mexican equivalent of the 10th Mountain Division isn't going to march over it any day now, but there is no serious effort to exclude the historic tide of migrants.

Democrats are so vested in the Big Lie about the border, they don't dare to contradict it, even when they are yelping in pain about having to deal with migrants.

On CNN over the weekend, Mayor Eric Adams called the migrant situation a "humanitarian crisis" yet refused to call out the maestro of this debacle. Asked by Jake Tapper whether it's a crisis that needs more attention from the Biden administration, Adams knew he couldn't go there. "No," he said. "I believe it's a crisis that needs more coordination from our country."

At least 1.35 million illegal immigrants have entered the country since Biden's inauguration, and they aren't leaving any time soon.

Biden officials don't want to stop the flow; they just want to manage it better. Asked by Fox News' Bret Baier earlier this year whether the administration seeks to reduce illegal immigration, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, "It is the objective of the Biden administration to make sure that we have safe, orderly and legal pathways for individuals to be able to access our legal system."

In other words, the Biden administration may not want migrants showing up in Martha's Vineyard, but there will be plenty of newcomers settling all over the United States, in a never-ending flow.

The majority of Americans believe political divisions have worsened since the beginning of 2021, a new poll finds — and two out of five think a civil war is likely to break out within the next decade.

About two-thirds — 66% — say Americans have become more split politically since the start of 2021 and they are largely pessimistic about the future of the United States, with 63% saying they expect the separations to increase and 62% predicting political violence will worsen over the next few years, the YouGovAmerica poll shows:

Only 8% say the country is less divided, the poll released Friday shows.

Asked about the likelihood that the country will be riven by a second civil war in the next 10 years, 14% believe it is "very likely," 29% say it is "somewhat likely," while 24% opt for "not very likely" and 11% say "not likely at all."

Another 22% say they aren't sure.

The poll found 79% of Republicans believe the political divisions have worsened since President Biden took office in January 2021, compared to 59% of Democrats and 65% of independents.

And 72% of Republicans also say the political divisions will only deteriorate further in the next few years, a sentiment that 58% of Democrats and independents agree with.

With the political divisions festering, 54% of respondents who identify as "strong" Republicans believe it is "very likely" or "somewhat likely" that the US will be engaged in a civil war in 10 years, compared to the 40% of "strong" Democrats who believe that.

January 2021 saw two momentous events — the inauguration of Biden on Jan. 20 and the attack on the Capitol by a mob of President Donald Trump supporters on Jan. 6.

Biden entered the White House after pledging to unify the country during his presidential campaign.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - Former Louisville police detective Kelly Goodlett pleaded guilty to helping falsify a warrant that resulted in the death of black woman Breonna Taylor during a no-knock raid, The New York Times reported on Tuesday.


Taylor, a 26-year-old emergency room technician, was killed in March 2020 by police executing a search warrant after her boyfriend shot at them, believing the officers to be intruders.

Goodlett was charged with conspiring alongside a fellow officer to falsify the search warrant used to raid Taylor's home, as well as cover up their actions afterward, the Justice Department said earlier this month.

The conspiracy included plans to submit a falsified affidavit to obtain a search warrant for Taylor's home despite lacking probable cause, according to court filings. Another object of the conspiracy was to cover up the falsified nature of the warrant after the shooting, the filings said.

Goodlett entered a guilty plea in federal court, becoming the first officer involved in Taylor's killing to be convicted for the incident, the report said. Goodlett resigned from the police force after being charged by authorities earlier this month, according to the report.

Three other officers were also charged by the Justice Department earlier this month in connection with Taylor's death, including the detective with whom Goodlett allegedly conspired.

Billionaire George Soros, who's funneled millions to district-attorney candidates that promise to keep criminals out of prison, writes in The Wall Street Journal that his efforts are "popular." Oh, really? Then why did he need a column to defend them?

In fact, Soros' whole rationale for his pro-criminal agenda is based on the mirror-opposite of reality. Starting with his patently ridiculous claim that he's "concerned about crime."

Look at the organizations he funds: They're not anti-crime or law-enforcement groups but ones like the Community Resource Hub for Safety and Accountability, which (as The Post reported) got $3 million and aids advocates who "address the harm of policing."

Got that? He sees policing as something harmful that needs to be addressed. Some "concern" for crime.

Indeed, anyone even remotely familiar with Soros' funding knows his aim is not crime-prevention but consequence-prevention for criminals, especially via donations to DA wannabes devoted to "decarceration." That's what makes his next claim, that the system is "rife with injustices" because too many people are sent to jail, so outrageous.

How exactly is it unjust to put lawbreakers (especially dangerous ones) behind bars? Letting them go free is the gross injustice, as any victim will tell you. It also encourages more crime, by signaling that lawbreakers pay no price for their actions.

Soros cites "injustice" because, he says, blacks are "five times as likely to be sent to jail" as whites. Yet he ignores the fact that blacks also are suspects at far higher rates: In New York last year, they made up less than 22% of the population but accounted for 64% of murder suspects, per NYPD data. Whites, with 32% of the population, were just 5% of suspects.

At the same time, 67% of murder victims were black, 24% Hispanic and just 6% white. Going soft on perps (of any race) ensures blacks suffer the most "injustice."

More: Soros claims his "goal is not defunding the police," yet he'd shift funds away from them and toward youth-job programs and "education behind bars." Then again, if perps never get put behind bars, what good would prison education do them?

Another Soros "goal": "restoring trust between the police and the policed." Again, polls have shown minorities want as much, if not more, policing, and with real consequences. Defunding police and failing to lock up perps only erodes trust. 

And here's a real doozy: He asserts "no connection" between "reform-minded prosecutors" and the surge in crime rates. Well, he helped install Kim Foxx in Chicago and Larry Krasner in Philadelphia, and both towns have seen historic crime spikes. Just coincidence?

Soros does admit that "scholars" have tied the nation's crime surge, in part, to "a pullback in policing" in the wake of the George Floyd protests and "increases in gun trafficking." Yet the very groups he supports have been part of that anti-police, pro-criminal movement. Oh, and maybe there wouldn't have been such a spike in gun-trafficking if the DAs he funds would lock up the traffickers. Anyway, it's a little late to start blaming the Floyd riots.

Most galling: his threat to continue backing pro-perp DA candidates, arguing that his funding lets them make their case to the public, and that "judging by the results, the public likes what it's hearing."

Likes it? San Francisco just booted its "reform-minded" DA Chesa Boudin. Los Angeles is on the verge of doing the same to Soros-backed DA George Gascón. In New York, gubernatorial hopeful Rep. Lee Zeldin is gaining support by vowing to fire Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, another Soros fave.

Forget Soros' nonsense. Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) had the more accurate take: "Everywhere Soros-backed prosecutors go, crime follows," he told The Post. "The only good Soros prosecutor is a defeated Soros prosecutor."

Tuesday is the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, a commemoration begun by the United Nations in 1994 to highlight the necessity of protecting the rights of the world's indigenous populations and to promote their cultures.

When the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) was adopted in September 2007, four nations opposed it: Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States. All four have since reversed their votes, with the US being the last country in the world to ratify the declaration in 2010. However, Washington still maintains that its support is aspirational and not legally binding.

"In the United States today, there are 574 federally recognized tribes, as well as numerous others that enjoy recognition at state level or which have no official status. Roughly 9.6 million people, or 2.9% of the US population, claim Native American descent on either one or both sides of their family. The vast majority of them do not live on specialized reservation lands set aside for tribes."

Despite being the first to live on the lands that later became the United States, indigenous people are severely economically and politically repressed, facing high rates of poverty, unemployment, and discrimination, and suffering the health-related effects of that situation.

"According to US government statistics, one-quarter of Native Americans live in poverty - the highest poverty rate of any racial or ethnic group. That rate is even higher on reservations, which often have few well-paying jobs or quality educational facilities. In addition, Native Americans on average are paid just 60% of the wages of their white counterparts."

Native women are two to three times more likely than women of any other race to be targets of violence, stalking, or sexual assault, with 80% of Native American women reporting having been targets, nearly always by non-Native perpetrators. While this phenomenon is as old as European contact, Native tribal leaders say a more recent driving force is that tribes have limited authority to detain and prosecute non-tribal citizens for crimes on tribal lands, meaning that federal prosecutors are the only ones who can bring charges - and they often don't, meaning crimes go unpunished.

It is still common for tribal lands, and historic tribal lands now held by the federal government, to be exploited for mineral wealth, including allowing petroleum companies to build oil wells or pipelines on them, and toxic mining processes. Decades of uranium mining in the Navajo Nation has caused extensive irradiation of the countryside, creating a disease known as Navajo Neuropathy. One spring in northeastern Arizona was reported to have uranium levels "at least five times greater than safe drinking water standards" by a study published in the journal Environmental Science & Technology in 2015. The contamination caused the early deaths of many children who drank from the spring or whose mothers drank the water while pregnant.

"Their lands are also used for weapons testing, the most notorious examples being the more-than-100 nuclear bombs detonated in Nevada and New Mexico, which irradiated the land and water, poisoning those who were exposed and denying the land's use to others for decades - and possibly even centuries - after."

In addition to the people, their culture is also slowly dying out. Of the 115 indigenous languages spoken today in the United States, just two are considered in a healthy state; another 34 are in danger and 79 are expected to be extinct within a generation without serious intervention, so few are the elders who still speak them.

500 Years of Colonization and Decline

Before European contact in 1492, there were an estimated 60 million people living in what would later become the United States. These people built complex societies and trading networks that stretched across the continent, and their complex mythology carried knowledge of how to tend the land and keep it healthy for future generations.
Contact was disastrous, though, and those Native people not killed by superior European weapons quickly died from the many epidemic diseases brought by Europeans, including smallpox, syphilis, and malaria, cutting the area's population by 90% within a century.

"When 13 of the British colonies in North America declared independence in 1776 and formed the United States, European settlement was restricted to a strip of land along the Atlantic coast no greater than 300 miles wide, and patchy settlements in what was then a northern part of New Spain. Although many Native tribes had been driven off those coastal lands, the rest of the continent fell under their sovereignty and they were recognized as independent nations that concluded treaties with European states."

However, over the following century, waves of European settlement swept the land, driving the indigenous people further west, including in brutal deportations such as the Trail of Tears, which removed five powerful nations from the American South and sent them to Oklahoma. Later, these and other nations were herded into specialized territories called reservations, sometimes on just a small fraction of their former territory and on other occasions, in a completely different location, and often lacking the resources to support themselves, especially following a concentrated US Army effort to eradicate the American bison, which was essential to the Great Plains tribes. This, combined with the regular seizures of indigenous children and their forcible assimilation to European languages, dress, and customs, rapidly decreased the population.

"Indigenous people heroically resisted, forming coalitions and mounting guerrilla campaigns against the US Army and the many settler caravans crossing their territory. However, in the end there were simply far too many settlers and they could not compete with technology like the rifle, the railway, and the barbed wire fence."

Before 1924, Native Americans were considered "wards of the state" and denied basic rights, including the right to travel off reservation lands without a special permit. Citizenship, a necessary designation for enjoying certain protections under the US Constitution, as well as the right to vote, was only extended to all Native Americans in 1924, although many jurisdictions continued to deny them voting rights until the Civil Rights Act of 1968.

Mayor Eric Adams unloaded Tuesday in an epic rant in which he threatened to stop fielding "off-topic" questions at his press conferences — and blasted the Big Apple's news organizations over what he said was their lack of racial diversity.

The scolding, which came before an unrelated press conference on summer youth employment efforts, appeared to be sparked by coverage of his failed bid to get state lawmakers to budge on his anti-crime agenda — although the mayor failed to convey how race factored into that.

One day after meeting with Albany lawmakers in what he all but admitted was a failed attempt to roll back recent criminal-justice reforms, Adams claimed that accounts of his trip, none of which touched on race, were unfairly negative.

"If you want to acknowledge or not, I have been doing a darn good job and we just can't live in this alternate reality," a clearly angered Adams said.

Adams also warned that if the coverage of him doesn't improve, "I'm just going to come in and do my announcements and bounce."

Adams repeatedly suggested that race played a factor in news coverage of him, telling an almost all-white group of reporters who were hand-picked by his office and invited to cover the City Hall news conference, "I'm a black man that's the mayor but my story is being interpreted by people that don't look like me."

"How many blacks are on editorial boards? How many blacks determine how these stories are being written?" he said.

"How many Asians? How many East Asians? How many South Asians? Everyone talks about my government being diversified, what's the diversification in the newsrooms?"

Adams also accused the reporters of "writing through your prisms" before adding: "Diversify your newsrooms so I can look out and see people who look like me."

Recounting his trip to Albany, Adams said, "I went to the Assembly conference. People raised the issues that they had and we talked. Black mayor, black Speaker, black majority leader, coming together and talking to each other.

"And if you would have turned on the news this morning, you would have said, 'It was all hell up there,' " the mayor said.

"I'm trying to figure out – do you guys already write the stories before I do something and just print out what you've already written?"

He added: "I'm going to stop doing off-topics because if you already have your perception of me – and you are already going to stick to what you think I am — then why am I doing this?"

A veteran of the previous administration told The Post that Adams appeared to be "taking a page out of Bill de Blasio's playbook."

"It didn't work for him," the source said of the notoriously thin-skinned de Blasio, who frequently responded to negative coverage by attacking the city's press corps.

"We'll see how well it works for Eric."

Veteran Democratic political consultant Hank Sheinkopf also said that playing the race card wasn't a wise move.

"Eric Adam's mayoralty will rest entirely on crime control. He's not getting the help he needs in Albany, he's frustrated, he's angry and he's taking it out on the press," Sheinkopf said. "And talk of race will not help him."

Another Democratic strategist said of Adams, "Now that he's been lightly dinged by the press, he's finally learning what it's like to be mayor of New York City."

Former de Blasio press secretary Bill Neidhardt also said, "If this is what gets him upset, wait until it's six times larger and smacked on the front of both tabs and he'll start to understand."

"Not every story can be about your smoothies," he added.

On Monday, Adams appeared to give up on his attempts to convince Albany Democrats to help him fight crime following a closed-door meeting in Albany.

Adams told reporters he "shared" his plan to fight crime in the Big Apple before adding, "If I am not getting the things I laid out ... I still have an obligation to keep the city safe."

That came after Assemblywoman Latrice Walker (D-Brooklyn) — who last week clashed with Adams over his desire to let judges lock up defendants they deem dangerous — said that "we are gonna hold the line" on criminal justice reforms enacted in 2019.

Meanwhile, Gov. Kathy Hochul said the bail reform law likely wouldn't be addressed until after the March 31 budget deadline, after she last month declared that she won't "cave to pressure" to enact tough-on-crime measures Adams and others have recently backed.

Last week, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins unequivocally rejected Adams' push to toughen the state's bail law.

The arrival of the US House speaker to Taiwan was condemned by Beijing as a "huge political provocation" and a direct violation of the "One-China" principle. China considers Taiwan a breakaway province.

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has released scathing statements on her official website and in an op-ed for the Washington Post upon arrival in Taiwan, accusing China of threatening the self-ruled island "and democracy itself". She stressed that the US can't "stand by" and let this happen.

The US lawmaker claimed that her trip to Taiwan comes at a time "when the world faces a choice between autocracy and democracy". She added that her visit forms part of Washington's "commitment to democracy" and reaffirmed that Taiwan and other democracies in the world "must be respected".

"In the face of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) accelerating aggression, our congressional delegation's visit should be seen as an unequivocal statement that America stands with Taiwan, our democratic partner, as it defends itself and its freedom," Pelosi said.

Pelosi took the opportunity to praise the Taipei regime, calling it a "vibrant, robust" democracy that is considered one of the freest in the world. She further praised the island's recent successes, such as its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and in combatting climate change, as well as the "entrepreneurial spirit, culture of innovation and technological prowess".

Despite statements from the US House speaker about a "threat" from China, the region has not seen the tensions and amount of military activity witnessed upon her visit for decades. China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) deployed armored vehicles and aircraft carriers in the vicinity of the Taiwan Strait, while the US Navy also moved its aircraft carrier strike group closer to the island ahead of Pelosi's visit.

The island's defenses were also raised to level 2 alert as the US House speaker's plane approached Taiwanese airspace.

China condemned Pelosi's trip to Taiwan, which it considers a breakaway province, as a major political provocation and an attempt to undermine the status quo. Beijing stressed that her visit harshly violated the One-China principle and Sino-US communiques that regulate Washington's relations with the island.

Nazi protesters show up outside young conservatives meeting in Florida

TAMPA, Fla. — A Holocaust center in Florida and others condemned the presence of protesters holding Nazi flags and posters with antisemitic imagery outside a convention of young conservative activists that drew as speakers President Donald Trump, Florida Gov, Ron DeSantis and several Republican U.S. senators.

Florida Holocaust Museum chairman Mike Igel said that the demonstration represented "a direct threat" to the Jewish community in the area. The museum is based in St. Petersburg, across the bay from the Tampa Convention Center, where the protesters showed up Saturday outside where the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit convention was being held.

Founded by conservative Charlie Kirk in 2012, Turning Point is a Trump-aligned group that organizes young people on college campuses into conservative activism. The convention attracted 5,000 young conservatives.

"Carrying the Nazi flag, or that of the SS, the unit responsible for some of the worst atrocities of the Holocaust, is an indefensible act of pure hatred," Igel said in a statement. "This isn't about politics or religion. It's about humanity."

Turning Point spokesman Andrew Kolvet said Sunday that the Nazi protesters had no affiliation with the conference and that his organization condemned their ideologies.

"Since these individuals were located on public property, our security attempted to, but was not permitted to remove them," Kolvet said in an email. "We have no idea who they are or why they were here. They have nothing to do with TPUSA, our event, or our students. Our students, after initially confronting them, ultimately took the mature route and vacated the space. Once that happened, these individuals left."

Besides Trump and DeSantis, other scheduled speakers at the Turning Point convention included Republican U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley and Fox News TV personality Laura Ingraham.

The Nazi demonstration was widely condemned by various local politicians and Turning Point USA.

Sanctions and assistance to Ukraine are marked on the agenda as items not requiring preliminary discussion; once approved by EU countries, the sanctions will be published in the Official Journal of the EU and go into force. Names of new people on the sanctions list are not expected to be made public before that.
On July 15, the European Commission made a suggestion for the bloc to consider additional measures aimed at boosting the impact of sanctions against Russia, including a ban on gold imports and tougher export controls for dual-purpose technologies.

The Democratic Party's midterm chances are not viewed as being high, even by the Democrats themselves, with President Joe Biden in the middle of a perfect storm of geopolitical issues and domestic economic problems.

If Democrats incur major losses in November's midterm elections and the control of both chambers of Congress slips away from their hands, US President Joe Biden could quickly find himself on the brink of impeachment, Newsweek reported.
The conclusion came after several Republicans indicated that the GOP would take a shot should the party assume control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate. Texas Senator Ted Cruz said in January that there were "multiple grounds" to impeach Biden, while Republican Representative Ken Buck voiced a similar sentiment later in April, saying that the House Judiciary Committee would "hold the hearings to determine whether impeachment is appropriate.
                               
"We'll vote on impeachment. And then it will be presented to the full House," he said.

Calls to impeach Biden have emerged several times and have been voiced by many prominent conservatives. Most recently, Fox News host Tucker Carlson demanded the impeachment of the president after a report by the Washington Free Beacon which claimed that the Biden administration sold a million barrels of oil to a Chinese state-owned gas company.
Among those constantly urging his impeachment is Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor-Greene. Following her impeachment articles which she introduced in 2021, arguing that Biden abused power to help his son Hunter facilitate shady business deals with China, Taylor-Greene reaffirmed her commitment to the idea on July 7, when the Free Beacon report was released.

Last week, Reuters reported that over five million barrels-worth of crude from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve released by the Biden administration to help ease gas prices in the United States had instead been shipped to refineries in Europe, India and China.

Some 950,000 of the oil released from the SPR to cope with spiraling gasoline prices may have wound up in depots controlled by Sinopec, the Chinese state-owned energy giant which Hunter Biden co-founded capital market firm BHR Partners has a $1.7 billion stake in, the Washington Free Beacon has reported, citing Department of Energy (DoE) data and information previously disclosed by Chinese and US business regulators.

In a press release in April detailing President Biden's release of one million barrels of oil per day from the SPR amid the energy crunch, the DoE indicated that Unipec America, Inc., a subsidiary of Sinopec, had been awarded 950,000 barrels of oil as part of the US's "price-competitive sale of 30 million barrels of SPR crude oil."

A source told Reuters last week that at least one tanker load of crude from the SPR had been sent off to China. Oil tankers typically carry between 190,000 and 345,000 barrels of oil (8-14.5 million gallons), according to the US Energy Information Administration. However supersize tankers can transport up to 2 million barrels' worth.

Last November, amid growing scrutiny of the Biden family's finances over reports based on information from the laptop Hunter Biden accidentally left behind at a Delaware computer repair shop in 2019, the younger Biden's lawyers assured the New York Times that the president's son "no longer holds any interest, directly or indirectly," in BHR Partners, which he cofounded in 2013.

However in March, a Washington Examiner investigation of business records from China's National Credit Information Publicity System showed that Hunter Biden continued to hold a 10 percent stake in BHR Partners via his company Skaneateles LLC. US business records indicated at the time that he was the sole owner of Skaneateles. The Examiner admitted that it was possible that the Chinese business registry had failed to update the possible sale of BHR Partners by Mr. Biden, but also implied that the records raise questions about his finances, and possible continued links to foreign entities, despite his representatives' assurances.

GOP Wants Blood

Republican lawmakers and candidates for the upcoming November midterm elections expressed outrage over the Free Beacon's report, and said that it may be time to "impeach" the president.

"President Biden reportedly sold oil from American reserves to China's Sinopec which Hunter Biden may still be tied to via his financial ventures in China," Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, coauthor of a 2020 Senate probe into the younger Biden's finances, tweeted. "If the report is correct, that's OUTRAGEOUS," Grassley wrote, adding that he and Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin had highlighted Hunter's alleged business connections to China in their 2020 report.

"At a time when Americans must pay record prices at the pump, President Biden should NOT be selling our strategic oil reserves to Communist China. This misguided and harmful action is the latest example of Biden's failed energy policies, and needs further scrutiny, especially if his son's China business could benefit," Grassley wrote.

"Hunter is still business partners with the [Chinese Communist Party] and they are buying our oil. Can we impeach Joe Biden now???" Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted.

Congressional candidate from Kentucky Brent Feher echoed Greene's suggestion, linking to the Free Beacon's article and writing "Impeach NOW!" in a tweet.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson argued that the Reuters report on the export of SPR oil alone was enough for a possible criminal investigation.
"So, as gas prices set records in this country, as American citizens who were born here and vote and pay taxes cannot afford to fuel their own cars, the Biden administration is selling off our emergency oil reserves to China. That's not an indictable offense? It's certainly an impeachable one and they should impeach him for that. What, are they going to sell the Redwood Forest to China next? How about the water rights to the Great Lakes? That's the equivalent of what [Biden] just did," Carlson argued in a segment on Wednesday.
The host suggested that a "functioning Congress" would investigate the Biden family's alleged business ties to China.
"The last president was impeached for what? Having a phone call with some corrupt Ukrainian politician. But now, [Congress] can't be bothered. They're still yelping about 'January 6 was an insurrection'. They're trying to ban your hunting rifle. So the White House is able to ignore the whole thing," Carlson said.

Draining the SPR

The White House plans to continue releasing a million barrels of oil from the SPR through October. Last week, updated DoE data showed that the reserve's inventory had dipped to its lowest level since the mid-1980s, and was sitting at a level sufficient for about 25 days' worth of consumption if US production and imports were suddenly halted.

When he announced the SPR selloff in April, President Biden expressed hope that the move would help stabilize record gasoline prices. Instead, gas prices surged to their highest ever levels, topping $5.10 a gallon in mid-June before dipping to about $4.70 a gallon now, according to the American Automobile Association. Prices remain highest along the US West Coast, with Washingtonians, Oregonians and Californians paying between $5.37 and $6.11, AAA data shows.

The laptop Hunter Biden left behind at a Delaware computer repair shop in 2019 has become a goldmine of embarrassing and potentially incriminating information, including evidence of an alleged "pay-to-play" scheme in which Hunter would collect cash from foreign business interests in exchange for political access to his father.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre flat out refused to answer questions about the Hunter Biden laptop after being asked to comment on recent reporting featuring a voicemail from Joe Biden to his son discussing overseas business despite assurances by the president that he'd never spoken to his son about this subject.

"Well, first, I'll say that what the president said stands. So if he – if that's what the president said [that he never talked to Hunter about business], that is what stands," the spokeswoman said in a press conference Tuesday.

Pressed for an answer, and asked whether she was disputing that it was the senior Biden's voice in the recording, Jean-Pierre stressed that she was "not going to talk about alleged materials on a laptop. It's not happening."

The spokeswoman recommended that the reporter instead address his question to Hunter Biden's representative.

A second reporter grilled Jean-Pierre over the non-answer, pointing to the disconnect between Joe Biden's promises to "always level with" the American people, and the White House's refusal to discuss the laptop.

"I hear your question, but what I can tell you from here, standing at this podium, is that I cannot comment on any materials from the laptop," Jean-Pierre reiterated.

Last week, the Daily Mail released what it said was a 2018 voicemail from the elder Biden to his son discussing a New York Times story about Hunter's alleged shady business dealings with a Chinese energy tycoon and CEFC Energy, a now defunct Chinese energy company, in 2017.

"I thought the article released online, it's going to be printed tomorrow in the Times, was good. I think you're clear. And anyway if you get a chance give me a call, I love you," he added.

Hunter offered no comment for the NYT article, while James Biden, the financier brother of Joe Biden, said he believed the Chinese businessman's call was meant for Hunter.

"There is nothing else I have to say. I don't want to be dragged into this anymore," James Biden said.

The voicemail stands in stark contrast to Joe Biden's statement, made on the campaign trail in 2020, that he had "never spoken to [his] son about his overseas business dealings." The president's officials have repeated the talking point ad nauseam in the months and years since.

The voicemail adds to previously reported-on evidence of possible involvement by the president in his son's business activities. In October 2020, the New York Post published excerpts from an email exchange between Hunter Biden associates James Gilliar and Tony Bobulinski discussing an unspecified business deal with a Chinese firm including a 20 percent cut to "H" and 10 percent for "the big guy." Speaking to Fox News shortly after the article's publication, Bobulinski said that the "big guy" referred to in the emails was Joe Biden. Biden's handlers denied this to be the case, aware of the implication that an admission to that effect could lead to a criminal investigation into their boss on graft charges.

The New York Post's reporting was dismissed by other news outlets at the time, and censored on Twitter and Facebook as potential "Russian disinformation" aimed at tilting the election against Biden. It wasn't until earlier this year that The New York Times and The Washington Post carried out their own "forensic investigations" of the laptop, confirming its authenticity.

The computer, left behind by the powerful politician's son at a Delaware computer repair shop in 2019, was eventually handed over to former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani after the shop's owner first tried to give it to the FBI but found the agency uninterested in its contents.

The "laptop from hell" contains thousands of emails, text messages from Hunter's iPhone, photos and videos showing in great detail information about his personal life, including an affinity for crack cocaine and high-priced prostitutes, but more importantly, possible criminal activity implicating both himself and his father.

Paradoxically, the only person to date to have faced any consequences investigating Hunter and Joe Biden's alleged "pay-to-play" schemes was Donald Trump. In early 2020, Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives on abuse of power and obstruction of Congress charges over a phone call he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in 2019 asking Zelensky to reopen an investigation into Hunter's business with a Ukrainian energy company called Burisma. Biden publicly boasted in 2018 about how he threatened to withhold a $1 billion loan to Ukraine unless it fired a prosecutor investigating Burisma's dealings and his son amid suspicions of money laundering. After the prosecutor was dismissed, the investigation was dropped. The Senate acquitted Trump.

As late as Friday, during a speech at the Los Angeles Port Authority, President Biden continued to blame Russian President Vladimir Putin for the record-setting surge in gas prices impacting the nation, a worn-out tactic by the White House to shift the blame for the insane prices.

However, nothing could be further from the truth.

Yes, we know that oil companies set the price of gasoline. But, thanks to the ongoing climate change initiatives, the closing of oil pipelines, the reductions of land by Biden for drilling, and the canceling of oil and gas leases, Washington has done more than enough to create an inflationary pressure on the cost of fuel.

Let's look a bit closer. In April, the Biden Administration announced a revised plan to reduce the land available for oil and gas by about 80% while raising royalty rates for the land amidst rising energy costs.

The Department of Interior (DOI) announced on April 18 its efforts to reform the federal oil and gas leasing program. The move significantly reduced the amount of land available for drillers.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will proceed with operating oil and gas drilling lease sales on roughly 144,000 acres of federal lands. According to the DOI, this reduction of 80% is a significant change in the amount previously designated.

The administration hasn't conducted an onshore lease sale since January 2021. They have delayed the program on numerous occasions.

"How we manage our public lands and waters says everything about what we value as a nation," Interior Secretary Deb Haaland said. "For too long, the federal oil and gas leasing programs have prioritized the wants of extractive industries above local communities, the natural environment, the impact on our air and water, the needs of Tribal Nations, and, moreover, other uses of our shared public lands."

"Today, we begin to reset how and what we consider to be the highest and best use of Americans' resources for the benefit of all current and future generations," Haaland continued.

The DOI also increased royalty rates for drillers from 12.50% to 18.75%, a move the DOI called the "first-ever increase in the royalty rate for new competitive leases."

Some oil and gas experts were concerned over the administration's announcement.

Western Energy Alliance President Kathleen Sgamma said, "While we're glad to see BLM is finally going to announce a sale, the extreme reduction of acreage by 80%, after a year and a quarter without a single sale, is unwarranted and does nothing to show that the administration takes high energy prices seriously."

"This administration has decided to make leasing and production a political football, and Americans are paying the price at the pump," she continued.

President Joe Biden issued a moratorium on the entire leasing program after taking office in 2021. However, in June, a federal judge blocked the moratorium on June 15, 2021, ruling that Biden had exceeded his authority.

Still, the Biden administration has continued to delay pending lease sales.

According to the Independent Petroleum Association of America, there has been no onshore lease sale under Biden. This is the first time no lease sale has been executed in a calendar year since the DOI began recording the data in 1998.

"The president claims he's doing nothing to limit domestic production, but once again, his administration is making American energy more expensive and harder to produce," said Senate Energy Committee Ranking Member John Barrasso.

Pro-choice group Ruth Sent Us hinted at targeting protests at Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett after the attempted attack on Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Ruth Sent Us posted a call for demonstrations at Barrett's home and church in response to speculation that she will concur with a previously leaked draft court opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade.

A Department of Homeland Security report said the Supreme Court draft opinion has unleashed a wave of threats against officials and others and increased the likelihood of extremist violence.


"If you're in the DC metro area, join us. Our protests at Barrett's home moved the needle to this coverage," the group said on Twitter.

Ruth Sent Us specifically noted the Barrett family's daily schedule and the school her children attend.

They wrote, "Falls Church is a People of Praise stronghold. She sends her seven kids to a People of Praise school that she sat on the Board of Directors for. She attends church DAILY."

The tweet was posted on the morning of June 8 – after the early morning arrest of Nicholas John Roske but before the arrest was first reported.

Roske of Simi Valley, California, was carrying a gun, ammunition, a knife, pepper spray, a screwdriver, zip ties and other gear when he was arrested by Montgomery County Police Department officers Wednesday morning near Kavanaugh's Maryland home, according to a criminal complaint.

Roske told detectives that "he was upset about the leak of a recent Supreme Court draft decision regarding the right to an abortion as well as the recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas," and believed Kavanaugh "would side with Second Amendment decisions that would loosen gun control laws," according to the affidavit.

A small group of pro-choice activists gathered at Barrett's home Thursday.

Waving banners and holding up signs, the group walked up and down the sidewalk chanting call-and-response slogans like, "Your neighbor says post-Roe, we say hell no!" and "Hey-hey, ho-ho, the handmaiden has got to go!"
