Several pages into an otherwise dead-end Google Image search for 'james von brunn, art' I just stumbled onto a source name that had a familiar ring: http://adamholland.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html Clicking on that link I found several informative articles about Mr. von Brunn, including one by NY Times, Co., Inc., owner Arthur Ochs Sulzberger, Jr., even, as well as another by Michael A. Hoffman II, a racially conscious White Xian writer, for "balance," I suppose.

What grabbed me, though, was this little kike gadfly Holland's dragging me into the fray:

I reported some time back about Will Williams (aka "White Will") the neo-Nazi who was an internet organizer, county campaign coordinator and candidate for Republican delegate on behalf of Ron Paul in 2008's Tennessee primary. (Read here.) Here's how his blog is portraying today's terrorist murder of an innocent security guard at Washington's Holocaust Museum:

For the record, I haven't been near a plugged-in computer since the first of May until yesterday -- nor have I seen a TV since then. All I've heard about Mr. von Brunn has been what little there was on my radio or what a couple of friends told me back around the time of the incident. This blog that Holland says I have is not mine and I've never posted to it because I don't know how. The blog owner, my old friend McKinley, had added my name to it because he wanted to see me keep on writing, though I had been banned from most prominent While racial forums at the time. I've never had a blog. This is a lame attempt by the Jew to somehow link Ron Paul to James von Brunn through me, sort of like he tried to link
Ron Paul to Hitler, or William Pierce, or whoever, last year during the presidential primaries. Holland was screeching that the sky had fallen when he discovered I'd received nearly 12,000 votes here in Tennessee in the state Republican primary as a candidate to be party delegate. His smear of me was picked up by the Associated Press Jews and they ran with it like scalded dogs.

Whew! Following a couple of the links at Holland's blog I find this aspiring watchdog has worked up a biography of me with a little help from fellow hate watchdogs: http://adamholland.blogspot.com/2007/10/neo-nazi-support-for-ron-paul.html I hadn't seen any of this before. I notice the COTC is mentioned by the commie ARA (Anti-Racist Action) watchdog, "nikki," in the comments section. She points out that "Klassen says Williams abused his wife."

Perhaps one day we'll get to write our own history, huh?

What's the latest word on Brother von Brunn? Haven't heard anything about him for about three weeks.

Here's a month-old take on JvB as "frustrated artist." That's a good one.  I admire his skill as a visual artist almost as much as I do his uncompromising Creator world view and enduring activism over at least four decades. Somewhere I have a copy of JvB's portrait in oil of BK. I'll try to find it and share it here. It was PM Klassen's favorite portrait of himself. I'm surprised that it's not already on the 'Net somewhere???

Update: More paintings of James von Brunn have surfaced on the internet.

It goes without saying, but I will say it anyway, the shooting at the Holocaust Museum by White Supremacist, James von Brunn, is a tragedy. It's interesting, however, that many in the media are already referring to von Brunn as a "frustrated artist," without any explanation or evidence to prove the statement. Generally the term frustrated artist is used to denigrate an artist and his or her work. No one can deny that von Brunn is a racist, however, as an art lover I question the use of the term "frustrated artist" in reference to James von Brunn.

I am an admirer of Winston Churchill. Years ago his art was on display at the New York State Museum in Albany, and I went to see it. Churchill was not a great painter, but I was fascinated by his art because I admired the man. He wrote and interesting little book called "Painting as a Pastime."

No one has ever called Winston Churchill a frustrated or failed painter as they have James von Brunn and his hero, Adolf Hitler. If von Brunn and Hitler were admirable people, we would say they painting was an avocation or hobby of theirs as we do with Churchill, but we would not denigrate their artwork.

So far only one example of von Brunn's artwork has been located on the internet. Here it is.

If one lays aside his or her negative feelings about von Brunn, one has to admit that this is a decent work of art. The Madame Pickwick Art Blog said, "The painting is not original but is certainly not mediocre." Even Gawker admits as much, saying:

    As we mentioned, Von Brunn was a painter. Just like Hitler! But the one example of his work that we have (which is no longer for sale at AskArt.com) is, uh, interesting. It is a amalgam of Fragonard's The Reader and Picasso's Woman With a Book. A clever recontexulaization of classics by Renaissance and Modernist masters! By a 89-year-old White Supremacist who just killed a man at the Holocaust Museum!

So why was von Brunn supposedly a frustrated artist? Maybe because he had a hard time getting galleries to show his work. According to an AP story:

    Von Brunn applied to have his art shown at the Troika Gallery in Easton, Md., around the time the gallery opened about 12 years ago, two of the owners, Laura Era and Jennifer Wharton, told The Associated Press. They said they turned him down because it was not up to their quality and that made von Brunn angry.

    "He stomped out," Wharton said. "You don't normally get that reaction from artists."

    They say his work was not strange or violent, but the artists they show have many years of professional experience.

    Era and Wharton said they had heard that von Brunn had been in jail because of his political beliefs and knew that he had prejudices. They did not feel comfortable around him, but said they didn't want to make him an enemy.

One wonders if the owners of the Troika Gallery are telling the truth as to why they turned down von Brunn. I for one wonder if it had more to do with political correctness than the quality of von Brunn's work.

Most of the works being shown now at the Troika Gallery are good, but they are very staid and conservative. None of them are post-modern like James von Brunn's work. Art is somewhat a matter of taste, but it seems to me that von Brunn's painting above is a least as good as most of the paintings now hanging in the Troika Gallery and better than many.

The following example of the work by Laura Era, one of the owners of the Troika Gallery in Easton, Maryland is not particularly good, although some of her other work is better. Certainly, James von Brunn's work above is better.

James von Brunn did an evil thing when he killed a guard at the Holocaust Museum. No one should try to minimize that. But whatever he is as a human being, it does not detract from his art work.

James von Brunn is an evil person, but he is a good artist.

Then the Black drove off, and the Loebs did their shopping. They had bought their groceries, were back in their car, and were ready to go home when the Black returned -- this time with another Black male and a brick. The Black got out of his car and advanced toward the Loebs' car with the brick in his hand. He announced loudly to Loeb, I'm gonna smash your motherf--ing head in.

"As the Black approached, Loeb responded by tearing open the glove compartment of his car, seizing a pistol his wife kept there for her protection, and firing two shots at the Black, killing him. Loeb was arrested and put on trial. At the trial both the defense witnesses and the prosecution witnesses recounted nearly the same sequence of events. The prosecution witnesses -- the slain Black's friend and a White woman who had been in the parking lot -- both admitted that the slain Black had threatened to smash Mr. Loeb's head with the brick he carried. They claimed, however, that he had dropped his brick just before he was shot, whereas the defense witnesses said that he still had the brick in his hand when he was struck by the bullets.

"The key to the outcome of the trial, however, was the charge made against Mr. Loeb by the Jewish prosecutor that he was a White racist. The prosecutor introduced into evidence books and personal letters seized in the Loebs' residence, indicating that Mr. Loeb strongly disliked Blacks and believed that they should be sent back to Africa. Mr. Loeb was then convicted of premeditated murder and sentenced to life in prison.

"Does that sound incredible? A conviction for premeditated murder, when the shooting clearly was neither murder nor premeditated but instead was an act of self-defense? Life in prison for a family man, a university graduate with a stable marriage who had never been in trouble with the law and was merely defending himself and his wife against an armed attacker? Does that sound like American justice?

"I must admit that when I first heard the story about George Loeb's conviction, I didn't believe it either. I thought that I was hearing a biased, exaggerated account of what had happened, that surely Mr. Loeb had done something which justified his conviction and the sentence which was imposed on him. So I obtained a videotape of the trial and viewed it for myself. You can do the same if you want. The complete video record of the trial -- which, by the way, lasted only 30 hours, because, unlike O.J. Simpson, that's all the justice Mr. Loeb could afford to buy -- the complete video record is available from the Courtroom Television Network, 600 Third Avenue, in New York City. It is an astounding record -- and horrifying -- and terribly depressing.

I had watched Rev. Loeb's entire disreputable trial on COURT-TV. I told Dr. Pierce about it and informed him as to how he could order a video of the trial, which he did. His visceral reaction to the miscarriage of "justice" was as every Creator's -- every racially-conscious White person with any self-respect -- should be: INDIGNANT, RIGHTEOUS WHITE RAGE!
