White Benoni Woman Shoots Dead Black Male Gunman

One of two black men who broke into a family home in Crystal Park, was shot dead during a gun-fight on July 29. Clyde Meela reports in LookLocal Benoni that the unnamed white home-owner was awakened by the house alarm and her dogs. She was asleep in the bedroom with her two children. She took her gun and went downstairs to investigate. She looked through her living room window and spotted two black men with guns in her yard. When they saw her one pointed his firearm at her, and she raised her gun and a gun-fight ensued, with shots fired through the windows.  She fired off two shots and saw one man fall down. She alerted the Crystal Park police and Community Monitoring Service (CMS) security guards but after a search in the dark they could find neither of the two gunmen.

Later on the same day, at about 7.30am, the gardener arrived and started with his daily duties. He saw suspicious liquid drops on the grass and decided to follow the trail, which led him to the discovery of the body of the shot suspect on the grass. The paramedics were called to the scene and declared the suspect dead. At that point the police were called back to examine the scene with photographers and detectives and a mortuary vehicle arrived to fetch the dead gunman's body. It was taken to the Germiston Mortuary.  The other suspect is still on the run, and the cases are being investigated by WO Riana Erasmus.

Johannesburg - Norwegian mass-murderer Anders Behring Breivik is reported to have copied several ideas from a right-wing South African website when he compiled his 1 518-page "manifesto".

Breivik borrowed liberally from several sources in writing his rambling ideas to defend Western civilisation.

One of his themes is the struggle against multi-culturalism, and he used several articles on the topic from the blog iluvsa.blogspot.org, http://iluvsa.blogspot.com/ which has a banner proclaiming: "I luv South Africa... but I hate my government".

Breivik quotes the blog about "the modern South Africa, 'The Rainbow Nation', where under black rule the Marxist ANC are viciously persecuting whites ... and where poignantly, let's not forget, many black people are now suffering far more than they ever did under apartheid".

Isn't there any resistance to this at all?

The right-wing is highly infiltrated by intelligence agents, like most right-wing groupings. We had a failed coup in 2001, if my memory serves me right, 25 men have been imprisoned and are still rotting in kaffir infected cells. According to NEASA CEO, Gerhard Papenfus, they have been inundated by reports from employers and non-striking employees around the country of severe intimidation, violent behavior, assault and damage to property since the strike begun on Monday, "This strike is without a doubt one of the bloodiest and violent strikes we have seen to date," Papenfus says. "Whilst every employee has the right to a peaceful strike, the current nature of the NUMSA strike is against the rule of law," he says, adding that they have received numerous photographs of property that has been destroyed, employees physically assaulted and striking workers brandishing weapons to support the reports of violence and intimidation.



"It is clear that NUMSA has lost control over their members. We are holding them responsible for every life threatening and violent act of their members, which includes the assault by striking workers with sjamboks and knobkieries, damage to property, intimidation of customers and non-striking employees as well as the refusal of entry of replacement labour," says Johan Pieterse, CEO of PCA. Meanwhile, the South African Police Service (SAPS) has also been criticized for allowing the striking workers to intimidate them. Employers are claiming that SAPS ("police") is literally standing by whilst property are being destroyed, without lifting a finger to stop these assaults, and in some cases are even refusing to take down affidavits by injured parties.



Concludes Papenfus : "We condemn the violence which has come to mar and characterize the current NUMSA strike in the strongest possible way. The NUMSA leadership has to address its members and urge them to continue with the strike in a peaceful, orderly and non-violent manner, failing which we will have to take steps to ensure the safety of our members and non-striking workers. The future of the negotiations seem bleak at this stage. Even if we do resume, we do not have much left to offer unions as their demands remains unrealistic and our proposals, aimed at job stimulation and job creation, are point blank rejected."
