Well said, Reverend. Part of the essence of a Creator is being "tough, tenacious, resolute, persistent, persevering, [and] indefatigable, as were the ancient Romans." The church is now approaching it's forty-first year and gaining strength- the future has never looked Whiter or brighter.

An interesting report, and it's probably true in a general sense but not in specifics. Something to note: they may be counting secular Jews as atheists. If that's the case, they're underreporting the true number of Jews. While the secularization of Judaism is good for us, we must never confuse a secular Jew for an atheist.

I agree. This should be handled locally but, to my knowledge, we have no experienced brothers in the states willing to hold funds. I hope to see that change in the very near future.

Klassen said, "there will never, never be a better time than now." So right now I'm putting you in charge of collecting donations. That may very well change in the future as we move the operation stateside. Consider your position temporary and absolutely necessary.

Jim, having volunteered, is in charge of maintenance. Ideally collection of funds will transfer to him so the whole operation can be run by one local church. I haven't spoken with him about that aspect of it so until he accepts that responsibility, go ahead and get started. If you wish to transfer responsibility for managing maintenance funds to him, feel free to work that out between you two. Just let me know so I can keep tabs on everything.

As I've said in the past we're looking into it. At this point we're ironing out the details. Our brother nearest to the grave- brother Jim- is hours away and until recently, unemployed.

You do bring up a great point: funding.  In fact reverend, I'd like you to be treasurer of just such a fund. I'd like you to contact Jim to calculate the cost of such a trip. When the funds have been collected we will see to it that the site is properly maintained. Let's see if we can have Our Founder's grave start the new year in pristine condition.

As brother John said it speaks volumes about your character that you are so passionate about this project. Thank you for your dedication.
