  Israel have released a threatening video, warning Europe that if they don't stop their boycott campaign against Israel, their continent will be obliterated.
The video, released by a pro-Israel PR firm, depicts ISIS militants destroying European cities with Jerusalem's blessing.

The video was released yesterday on the Facebook social network by Hallelu, a little-known PR outfit dedicated to improving the international image of the State of Israel, and has already racked up over five thousand video views:

The minute-long video has high production values and features 3-D animation and a script with a pointed political message. The plot of the narrative is as follows:
In the opening scene, a massive boulder as large as an entire village, emblazoned with the logos of the Islamic State and the Al Qassam Brigades of Hamas, begins to roll down a hill towards a Disney-esque medieval municipality labeled "Europe".

As it picks up momentum, a gargantuan rock-creature with a blue Star of David on its shoulder attempts to slow the ISIS-boulder's descent, but is unsuccessful on its first attempt. The boulder rolls past a peak with an Israeli flag planted at its precipice and continues its descent down the mountain.

Looking weary but undeterred, the Jewish-or-Israeli-identified rock-creature leaps ahead of the boulder's path and with great effort manages to stop it in its tracks. Though the rock-creature saves most of the city from being crushed to dust, the inertia of the boulder drives the rock-creature into the spire of a structure at the entrance to town, causing that one building to collapse.

In immediate response, signs saying "Boycott Israel" pop out of town's towers and the city lets loose with a barrage of missiles aimed at the rock-creature, including a large rock inscribed with the logo "BDS" – a reference to the Boycott-Divest-Sanctions movement that targets Israel.

Though the projectile seems to cause no physical harm to the rock-creature, his facial expression turns to a grimace, and he elects to remove himself from the boulder's path and allows it to complete its original trajectory, completely crushing "Europe"-town, before rolling right into a body of water and sinking straight down.

In the final seconds of the video, the screen goes to black and the viewer is told, "Israel is fighting your war – Support Israel," while the heavy footsteps of the rock-creature are audible in the background. The clip concludes with a credit screen bearing the logo of the Hallelu Foundation.

The message of the video seems glaringly obvious: Islamic armies will first fight Israel, but eventually they will attempt to annihilate Europe; if Europeans don't appreciate the way that Israel combats Islamists, and aren't willing to accept the inevitable costs of this war of civilizations, Israel will abandon the ungrateful gentiles to their deserved fate: extinction.

Among the most-recognized names that Hallelu counts as "Foundation Members" on its website are three prominent patriarchs, columnist Ben Dror Yemini of top-selling Israeli daily newspaper Yediot Ahronot, Arabist professor Dr. Mordechai Kedar of Israel's Bar Ilan University, and Greek Orthodox Patriarchate spokesperson Father Gabriel Nadaf.

Yemini has advocated rounding non-Jewish African refugees out of Israeli cities and into desert detention centers, in order to prevent Jewish African-Israeli women from dating them. Kedar has advocated threatening to rape the mothers and sisters of Palestinians in order to deter them from carrying out attacks against Israel. In recent years, the Israeli government carried out each of these proposed policies.

Nadaf leads efforts to draft Christian Palestinian citizens of the country into Israel's army. A close ally of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he was one of only six people to light torches at an official state ceremony for Israel's "Independence Day" earlier this month. Days before the ceremony was held, it emerged that Nadaf has been accused of sexual harassment by several of the young men that he tried to draft into the IDF.

Two other Hallelu "Foundation Members" have connections to the Netanyahu government, as well. The group's "Director of External Relations" Rena Riger was Netanyahu's Director of Foreign Affairs while he was Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2002 to 2003. Also, "Foundation Member" Wilhelm Roth has also served as Chair of the Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee to Danny Ayalon between 2011 and 2013, when he was Netanyahu's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, according to Roth's Linked In profile.

In the last year, the Netanyahu government has begun to publicly accuse Boycott-Divestment-Sanctions activists of posing an existential threat to the State of Israel, and has apportioned huge budgets to combat the phenomenon. Last month, a top ruling Likud party lawmaker, Minister of Transportation Yisrael Katz, threatened BDS activists with "focussed civil elimination". While the threat was vaguely worded, it suggested that boycott campaigners could face lethal retribution from Israel.

The first video to be published by the Hallelu Foundation, released just over a year ago, explains the group's raison d'être.

Complaining that all previous public relations efforts by Israel were ineffectual — "we just really suck at explaining what the hell is going on here" — the clip's narrator proposes that Hallelu be made the over-arching PR promoters of the State of Israel:

"Hallelu was founded in order to thoroughly change the way we think of hasbara [propaganda]. It intends to tell the world the true story, and has the exact plan of how to do so. At first, the Hallelu Foundation plans to become an umbrella organization for all Jewish organizations in Israel and abroad that deal with hasbara."

The narrator goes on to explain that the group intends to not only defend Israel from charges of human rights violations, but to go on the offensive, as well: "Hallelu plans to start a series of unprecedented attack campaigns, the likes of which we've never seen, both in content and in range."

Hallelu's attack forces will target media outlets that publish negative reports about Israel's actions, the video says. "A battery of lawyers will legally pursue any website, newspaper, TV network in Israel and abroad that will spread lies about Israel's operations," the narrator states. "The anti-Israel organizations will learn: they can't write whatever they want anymore."

Interestingly, the video also debunks one of the oft-repeated talking points of Israel's most vocal defenders: that Boycott-Divest-Sanction activists hate Jews and target Jews just because they are Jews. "Has everyone turned anti-semite? No, they haven't," the narrator explains. "They do exactly what we would do in their place: they boycott, demonstrate, apply international pressure, stop tourists, investors, performing artists."

Update: The high-quality animation component of the video was not an original creative work, but rather an enhancement of a sampled clip, nearly all of a seventy-second award-winning CG short called "A Tale of Momentum & Inertia" by Portland, Oregon animation studio HouseSpecial. Presumably, Hallelu would prefer that this fact not be widely known, and not only for reasons of legal copyright. In the original HouseSpecial animation, the massive boulder which destroys an Israeli settlement of some sort and the village "Europe" – identified as Hamas and ISIS – is actually inadvertently created by the Jewish-or-Israeli-identified rock-creature himself, when he tries to build a structure of some kind, perhaps an altar, on the top of a hill. If Hallelu's political metaphor is then expanded to also include the introductory footage from "Momentum & Inertia" that the would-be hasbara mavens chose to cut, it would mean that in Israel's efforts to build some kind of structure on a hill, it created ISIS and Hamas, which then destroy an Israeli settlement and the European continent.

The first factor that seems to influence trolling is a person's mood. In our experiment, people put into negative moods were much more likely to start trolling. We also discovered that trolling ebbs and flows with the time of day and day of week, in sync with natural human mood patterns. Trolling is most frequent late at night, and least frequent in the morning. Trolling also peaks on Monday, at the beginning of the work week.


Moreover, we discovered that a negative mood can persist beyond the events that brought about those feelings. Suppose that a person participates in a discussion where other people wrote troll comments. If that person goes on to participate in an unrelated discussion, they are more likely to troll in that discussion too.


The second factor is the context of a discussion. If a discussion begins with a "troll comment," then it is twice as likely to be trolled by other participants later on, compared to a discussion that does not start with a troll comment.


In fact, these troll comments can add up. The more troll comments in a discussion, the more likely that future participants will also troll the discussion. Altogether, these results show how the initial comments in a discussion set a strong, lasting precedent for later trolling.


It's also important to differentiate the impact of a troll comment from the author's intent: Did the troll mean to hurt others, or was he or she just trying to express a different viewpoint? This can help separate undesirable individuals from those who just need help communicating their ideas.


When online discussions break down, it's not just sociopaths who are to blame. We are also at fault. Many "trolls" are just people like ourselves who are having a bad day. Understanding that we're responsible for both the inspiring and depressing conversations we have online is key to having more productive online discussions.

For as long as the government has kept track, the economic statistics have shown a troubling racial gap. Black people are twice as likely as white people to be out of work and looking for a job. This fact was as true in 1954 as it is today.

The most recent report puts the white unemployment rate at around 4.5 percent. The black unemployment rate? About 8.8 percent.

But the economic picture for black Americans is far worse than those statistics indicate. The unemployment rate only measures people who are both living at home and actively looking for a job.

The hitch: A lot of black men aren't living at home and can't look for jobs — because they're behind bars.

Though there are nearly 1.6 million Americans in state or federal prison, their absence is not accounted for in the figures that politicians and policymakers use to make decisions. As a result, we operate under a distorted picture of the nation's economic health.

There's no simple way to estimate the impact of mass incarceration on the jobs market. But here's a simple thought experiment. Imagine how the white and black unemployment rates would change if all the people in prison were added to the unemployment rolls.


According to a Wonkblog analysis of government statistics, about 1.6 percent of prime-age white men (25 to 54 years old) are institutionalized. If all those 590,000 people were recognized as unemployed, the unemployment rate for prime-age white men would increase from about 5 percent to 6.4 percent.

For prime-age black men, though, the unemployment rate would jump from 11 percent to 19 percent. That's because a far higher fraction of black men — 7.7 percent, or 580,000 people — are institutionalized.

Now, the racial gap starts to look like a racial chasm. (When you take into account local jails, which are not included in these statistics, the situation could be even worse.)


"Imprisonment makes the disadvantaged literally invisible," writes Harvard sociologist Bruce Western in his book, "Punishment and Inequality in America." Western was among the first scholars to argue that America has locked up so many people it needs to rethink how it measures the economy.

Over the past 40 years, the prison population has quintupled. As a consequence of  disparities in arrests and sentencing, this eruption has disproportionately affected black communities. Black men are imprisoned at six times the rate of white men. In 2003, the Bureau of Justice Statistics estimated that black men have a 1 in 3 chance of going to federal or state prison in their lifetimes. For some high-risk groups, the economic consequences have been staggering. According to Census data from 2014, there are more young black high school dropouts in prison than have jobs.

The economic data sweeps these people under the rug, making the situation look far too optimistic for African-Americans. Western started writing about this problem in the early 2000s with Becky Pettit, a sociologist at the University of Texas, Austin. They've published reports in top journals, and have each authored books on the subject.

It's taken a long time for this blind spot to be recognized. Much of the debate about prisons has focused on disparities in the justice system, and rightly so, Western says. The problem begins there. But when a large chunk of the working-age population vanishes from public life, the repercussions spread.

One in nine black children has had a parent behind bars. One in thirteen black adults can't vote because of their criminal records. Discrimination on the job market deepens racial inequality. Not only does a criminal record make it harder to get hired, but studies find that a criminal record is more of a handicap for black men. Employers are willing to give people second chances, but less so if they're black.

"Jim Crow and slavery were caste systems. So is our current system of mass incarceration," wrote civil rights lawyer Michelle Alexander in her 2010 book "The New Jim Crow."

These consequences entangle the broader economy. Yet, many people who study employment and the job market haven't been paying attention to the criminal justice system. That's a big mistake, according to Western.

"From my point of view," he says, "mass incarceration is so deeply connected to American poverty and economic inequality."A look at the troubling dataTo see Western's point, consider the statistics for people at high risk of arrest — young men (aged 20-34) who never finished high school.

Let's set aside for a moment the unemployment rate, which is a blinkered measure of the economy. Only people who have recently looked for a job are considered unemployed. Instead, economists often focus on a different number, the fraction of people who have jobs. This is called the "employment-population ratio."


Overall, about 60 percent of young white dropouts and 36 percent of young black dropouts were employed in 2014, according to the Census's Current Population Survey. But there's a caveat to that number. It excludes people in prison or otherwise institutionalized.

The Census separately measures this population. According to that data, about 7.6 percent of these white men were institutionalized in 2014.

(Overwhelmingly, this means jail, but it could also mean a mental hospital or a nursing home.) For black men, the fraction is so staggering, it seems like a typo — 29 percent of black male high-school dropouts between the ages of 20 and 34 were institutionalized in 2014.

When you add in all of the incarcerated, the numbers become much bleaker and the racial gaps much wider. In reality, only about 54 percent of young white male high-school dropouts had jobs in 2014. And only 25 percent of their black counterparts were employed.


As the above numbers indicate, there are more young black male high school dropouts behind bars than have jobs. This is a very high-risk population. But even if we zoom out, the data still are skewed.

Here are the same numbers for all prime-age men in 2014. Officially, 84 percent of white men between 25-54 were working in 2014, compared to 71 percent of black men. After including the incarcerated, the fraction of white men who have jobs hardly changes. But the black employment-population ratio drops to 66 percent.

How incarceration has changed the economyThe prison boom has made such a dent that recently, social scientists have completely reconsidered how much progress the black community has made in recent decades.

Derek Neal, an economist at The University of Chicago, and Armin Rick, an economist at Cornell, argue that mass incarceration has masked a lot of economic pain and a lot of inequality.

The official statistics are "very deceptive when the trends in the fraction incarcerated are changing," Neal says. "You can actually measure an increasing employment rate or a falling unemployment rate simply because, over this period, we've put more of the people who have trouble finding jobs in prison."


Neal and Rick explored a slightly different thought experiment. What if all these men had never been arrested? What if they all had jobs? What if they were earning wages on par with similar men with similar levels of education?

The effects are not all expected, or even necessarily positive. According to Neal and Rick's calculations, if all these prisoners were actually working, they would drag down the median white wage by just a little, but it would drag down the median black wage by a lot, since so many black men are incarcerated.

The chart below shows the hypothetical black-white wage gap compared to the actual black-white wage gap, among men who are 11-15 years out of school. The 1960s and 1970s yielded incredible economic progress for black Americans — dividends from civil rights reform. But the trend stalled in subsequent decades. Then, the financial crisis hit, wiping out much of those past gains.

Neal and Rick find that in 2010, black men earned about 75 cents for every dollar white men out of prison made. But if all the men in prison also had jobs, there would be a lot more inequality — black men would only be earning about 65 cents on the dollar. Had all these people been on the job market instead of in prison, they would have competed with other workers for jobs, driving wages down.

The growth of incarceration rates among black men in recent decades," they write, "combined with the sharp drop in black employment rates during the Great Recession have left most black men in a position relative to white men that is really no better than the position they occupied only a few years after the Civil Rights Act of 1965."


Western and Pettit argue that the wages for low-skilled black workers in the 1990s rose in part because incarceration reduced the number of people competing for work. As incarceration rates slowly start to fall, there will be pressure on the economy to absorb some of the most hard-to-employ people in society. "Somehow we're going to have to figure out how to address the really severe employment problems of low-skill men," Western says.

This will prove particularly difficult because mass incarceration's ill effects are concentrated in places already in distress. Researchers once estimated that, in some inner-city neighborhoods, up to one-fifth of the young black men are behind bars at any given moment.


In their absence, their communities start to fracture. So when they get out, they find that there are no jobs and no support networks. "The impact of incarceration on communities and the impact of communities on reentry together create a pernicious cycle of decline," professors Jeffrey Morenoff and David Harding wrote in the Annual Review of Sociology in 2014.

For now, there are still so many people behind bars that it continues to warp our sense of reality. Recently, politicians challenged Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen to recognize the vast racial inequalities in the economy. They cited the black unemployment rate — twice the white unemployment rate. But however bad those numbers seem, the truth, after accounting for incarceration, is even worse. So perhaps the next time the jobs report comes out, there could be an extra chart to recognize the 1.6 million prisoners in America.

They don't show up anywhere in the government's measurements of economic activity, but their absence is dearly felt.

Sheriff of Washington County, MO, Zach Jacobsen, says the department learned from Ancona's son's Facebook post of the disappearance, which was deemed suspicious. Jacobsen confirmed that a body found earlier today by a family fishing by Big River was that of the missing Ancona.

Jacobsen said they received the report of the body while following other leads into the death, according to the Daily Journal. "We processed the scene and the body was transported by the Washington County Coroner's office for an autopsy to determine a cause of death," he said. "The body was positively identified as Frank Ancona and his family was notified."

All of Anconas's firearms were missing from his home  —  his wife Malissa said he had taken all of them with him, but his family in the house next door claimed Ancona would never have done such a thing.

Police said one gun, the one Ancona usually carries around with him, was turned over to them by his wife.

Ancona has been trying to make over his KKK faction to gain wider acceptance, even prior to the latest "Alt-Right" euphemism.

"I believe in racial separation but it doesn't have to be violent," he told CNN in 2014.

"People in the Klan are professional people, business people, working types. We are a legitimate organization."

Ancona and his Traditionalist Knight have been decried by rival faction, the Loyal White Knights located nearby.

Robert Jones, Loyal White Knights Imperial Klaliff, told the New Lenox Patch "This guy's group, the Traditionalist American Knights, ain't even been around three years ... Frank Ancona is also Jewish and his wife is Jewish and he's being exposed all through the Klan world as a fake and he ain't even White and you can actually look his family tree up which we've got his family tree which we can give y'all too and you can post it," Jones claimed.

Campbell alleges that the difference between it and modern death-squads is that the Ku Klux Klan was composed of members of a defeated regime rather than the ruling governmental. "Otherwise, in its murderous intent, links to private elite interests, and covert nature, it very closely resembles modern death squads."[23]

Ultimately, U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant declared a state of emergency in the American South and gave the U.S. Army power to break up the Klan. Some Klansmen were tried before military tribunals and hanged.

In 1915, D.W. Griffith's film The Birth of a Nation romanticized the KKK and led directly to its re-emergence at a conference at Stone Mountain, Georgia. The Klan soon had klaverns not only in the South, but also in the Midwestern states of Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, and Illinois.

Unlike its counterpart, the re-constituted KKK opposed not only non-whites, but also "White Ethnic" Americans, Jews, and Roman Catholics. And in their isolation they gathered into online communities. The topics were endless, the community global. It no longer mattered where they were physically, their social connections were with each other. They were members of an invisible society that was just as valid as whatever society presented itself outside of the home.

In this manner the next Golden Age of the White Race began.

The Falcon Heights, Minnesota police shooting of Philando Castile is based around an entirely false narrative.  Castile and Ms. Diamond Reynolds (Facebook video uploader) were pulled over by police because Castile matched a BOLO Alert for an armed robbery suspect from four days prior.
Saint Anthony, MN, Police Officers Jeronimo Yanez and Joseph Kauser pulled over Mr. Castile and Ms. Reynolds because the driver, Philando Castile, matched the suspect profile in an armed robbery which occurred on July 2nd, at a convenience store, only a few blocks from where their car was pulled over.
Ms. Diamond Reynolds narrates the now viral Facebook video with several false statements.

Reynolds claimed they were pulled over for a broken tail light, false.

Ms. Reynolds also claims her boyfriend, Castile, was holding a concealed carry permit for a firearm that was resting on his left thigh.  This also appears to be false.

According to a question presented to the local county sheriff who oversees the Concealed Carry Permit process, Mr. Castile had never requested a concealed carry permit from their office.
