The Department of Homeland Security has awarded a nearly half-million-dollar contract to a local construction company in order to build a large fence around Biden's private beach house in Rehoboth, Delaware. On September 21st, the agency allocated $456,548 in taxpayer funds to "Turnstone Holdings LLC" for the "purchase and installation of security fencing at 32 Fairview, Rehoboth Delaware." The contract was awarded just shortly before the DHS announced that it would be terminating all remaining border wall contracts. Meanwhile, the southern border of the United States is experiencing the highest level of illegal crossings since 1986... in just 10 months, over 1.5 million foreigners have been encountered by border agents – most of whom have been processed by federal authorities and subsequently released into the interior of the country on the taxpayer's dime.

Now, hundreds of millions of dollars worth of materials are sitting in the desert rusting away, and millions more in labor that had already been paid for has been completely wasted after Biden's DHS officially announced that they were terminating all remaining border wall contracts that had yet to be completed... Instead of doing his job to protect our country, Biden is using federal agencies and taxpayer funds.to shore up security at his cozy, private beach house.

The final decision, after years of debate, was made Oct. 8 to remove from the New York  City Council chambers the statue of the man we all know to have been a dreaded slaveholder—to the tune of 600 over his lifetime—Thomas Jefferson

  Despite that, writing at Bari Weiss' substack, political science professor Samuel Goldman, with whom I concur, is less than happy. "The removal is disgraceful. Unlike monuments to Confederate leaders  that display them in full military glory, Jefferson is depicted as a  writer. Holding a quill pen in one hand and the Declaration of  Independence in the other, he is clearly being honored for composing an  immortal argument for liberty and equality." Who knows—perhaps Jefferson went to his grave  wishing he could have married Sally, his slave with whom he apparently  had children...

It doesn't seem to matter that this woman, our new vice-president family were also slave owners

Like it or not we are all creatures of our times. Thomas Jefferson  was clearly a hypocrite, often tortured by his own hypocrisy, but he was  also a genius whose writings offered great hope for humanity, all of  humanity... Having been a professional writer all my life and having had the good fortune to know many fine authors, playwrights, and essayists, some "of color" even, I know not one who has written anything nearly as powerful and evocative as "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men  are created equal..."

The truth about Jefferson seems to matter now, but now the truth about drug dealer/user, counterfeiter, armed robber, porn star, rapist and 5 times felon -George Floyd and many others doesn't seem to matter

Someone with a relatively healthy mind is able to put historical revelations in a context. Nothing appalls the "woke" more than that. They are always accusing the rest us of "contextualizing." But that is what adults do. We look at the past, evaluate it, try to take the best from it and avoid the worst, and move on. That is the way to observe George Santayana's dictum "Those who  cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." The left don't aim  to remember the past. They aim to obliterate it.

What will replace these statues? A statue of a negro long-time felon such as George Floyd now being peddled as a hero?

And thus they are condemned to repeat it. As they are now—in the United States of America—to everybody else's dismay and horror. Who will be the next to go? Benjamin Franklin—America's own DaVinci... Fortunately, in the case of the Jefferson statue, it will not be  destroyed, but removed to another location. (Wise move because these  things often are walked back when people come to their senses.) And it's  not the original anyway, but a copy. The original is in the Capitol  Rotunda, waiting for The Squad to complain about its presence and/or  existence...

In August 2020, multiple people were arrested for not wearing face masks inside of a Mother's Market in Costa Mesa. According to a woman who was cuffed, the store manager locked her and other maskless individuals in the store and called the police. Over a dozen police officers showed up to the Orange County grocery store to arrest a few people for not wearing masks in public. One of the women arrested on August 15, 2020 was convicted of trespassing and obstructing business or customers.

A jury this week found Marianne Campbell Smith, 57, guilty and an Orange County Superior Court Judge sentenced her to 40 hours of community service, a year of informal probation and a $200 fine... Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer said this case was about "private business and workers trying to comply with local and state health orders."

While we all stood here shaking our heads wondering if these people were serious... they cut billions of dollars in funding for police officers.  And as a result, crime has skyrocketed – all while the same  politicians who said "you don't need guns, the government will protect  you"... Of all the workers I got to know from  the plant, Wally was the most optimistic. He believed in the American  dream, or at least in his own ability to achieve it. Unlike many of the  white men who broke down in tears at the thought of the plant closing  and their machines being taken to Mexico, Wally focused on his goal of  opening a barbecue business. Owning your own business meant you could  never be laid off or offshored — and you never had to rely on a person  who might be racist to earn your daily bread. "I'm either going to make it or I  won't,"... " I come from a long line of makers." That heartbreaking experience taught me how deadly the loss of work can be in a country where health care is tied to employment. Men with high seniority who get laid off  experience mortality rates that are 50 to 100 percent higher than their  co-workers. Of roughly 300 workers who got laid off from the Rexnord  plant, I counted three who died within a year of stress-related or alcohol-related illnesses.

In addition to those who passed away from Covid, some  90,000 people in America perished of opioid overdoses in 2020, a 30  percent increase from the previous year. It's not clear if that's  because treatment got shut off, or because people suddenly had nothing  to do all day long. But we do know that, even before Covid, studies  showed an unmistakable link between unemployment shocks and opioid  deaths and hospitalizations... Too often those who claim to champion  the working class are culturally, geographically and economically disconnected from their everyday realities. Nothing makes this more clear than political language grounded in social safety nets and entitlements, instead of jobs. After the Rexnord plant closed, John had to appear regularly at an unemployment office to jump through hoops to collect a check that came to a grand total of $335 a week.

Once, he was asked if he'd been willing to take a "survival job" just to put food on the table. That question annoyed him. "Of course I'd take a survival job," "What other choice do I have? Go on welfare?"... Many of the  steelworkers I followed felt the same way. They all knew people who  gamed the system. He believed in higher education, within reason and to a point. He had gotten his associate degree in piping design at community college, while living at home with his parents.

"Well, I'm not sure it's in the middle of the night but let me tell  you what's happening here ... it is our legal responsibility to safely  care for unaccompanied children until they swiftly can be unified with a  parent or a vetted sponsor,"

The border crossers and UACs are being flown into the Westchester County Airport in Westchester County, New York, from Texas before getting on buses bound for New York City neighborhoods like the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, along with upstate neighborhoods like Newburgh and Bridgeport, New York, and Danbury, Connecticut. Other border crossers and UACs are also being flown to the  Jacksonville International Airport in Jacksonville, Florida, before  getting bussed to the Twin Oaks Academy, a detention center for  juveniles, near Tallahassee, Florida... At least 100 self-proclaimed anarchists tore through Portland, setting dumpsters aflame, smashing windows and causing $500,000 in damage, but police stood idle because of a new state law that restricts how law enforcement can respond to riots. The city just reached the 'grim' milestone of 1,000 shootings through 2021 in what has been a year of destructive protests, violent street clashes and a police staffing crisis.

Now police say a recently passed law ties their hands even further as it prohibits police from using crowd control techniques like pepper spray or tear gas. Instead, law enforcement agencies are told to rely on follow-up investigations to hold rioters accountable. Portland's latest round of violence broke out after a memorial for Sean Kealiher, an Antifa activist who was struck and killed by an SUV in October 2019 after getting in a fight with the driver at a bar earlier that night. Police have not made any arrests in connection to Kealiher's death, though his mother Laura believes they have identified the culprits. She organized last Tuesday's protest on Twitter, writing that it was 'not a peaceful event' and dubbing it 'a night of rage and anger.'

Laura Kealiher who has a Twitter account with a title 'ACAB' (All Cops Are Bastards) called for the get-together in memory of the Antifa youth. It was advertised as not family-friendly. Kealiher also referred to this as a night of rage and anger.

A decision that will cost him about $1.68 million in pay. "San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane has been suspended for 21 regular-season games without pay, for an established violation of, and lack of compliance with, the NHL/NHLPA Covid-19 Protocol. Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the forfeited pay goes to the Player's Emergency Assistance Fund," the NHL said in a statement. Last year, Austin gleefully leapt on the defund the police bandwagon and cut its police budget by nearly a third. "Unexpectedly," violent crime skyrocketed to the point that the city recently told citizens not to call 911 unless they really really needed to. Austin Police Department has asked the public not to call 911 for "non-emergency situations" if "there is no immediate threat to life or property," "where crimes are no longer in progress," and "when the suspect(s) are no longer on scene or in sight." ...

A former Austin, Texas police officer who left the force amid the city's move to defund the police sent a scathing letter to the department rejecting their offer to hire him back. "I did not leave APD for money. No amount of money could make me return.... "The working environment within APD is one of the most dangerous in the nation," the former officer wrote. "Not because of the hazards each officer faces in the streets, but because of the senior leaders that have no formal professional development leader training, do not value each officer as a person, push all responsibility to the patrol officer level, and holds them to unrealistic expectations." As the city of Austin struggles under increased crime and angry citizen backlash, Soros poured $1M into efforts to stop them hiring more police. Left-wing billionaire George Soros is throwing at least a million dollars behind an effort to stop the hiring of hundreds of new police officers in Austin, Texas, according to campaign finance documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.

The Hungarian-born political activist gave $500,000 through the Soros-backed Open Society Policy Center to a political action committee in opposition to a ballot initiative that forces the city to employ two police officers per 1,000 residents. Soros's donation, made on Oct. 12, is his second of the month and comes as Austin experiences a decades-high spike in violent crime. The city has seen at least 67 homicides this year, the highest since at least 1981. Aggravated assaults are also up at least 10 percent, following a 26 percent spike in 2020.[/left]

On Oct. 1, the Open Society Policy Center cut its first $500,000 check to Equity PAC, a Texas-based political organization that backs left-wing causes. The donation is the latest example of Soros's involvement in various left-wing causes at the local level. In 2020, Soros donated over $600,000 to a Texas-based left-wing group that backed the election of José Garza, who now serves as district attorney for Travis County, where Austin sits... Soros has spent more than $17 million on various local races, including donations to left-wing prosecutors and state legislators. Jussie Smollett's criminal trial will move forward after a judge on Friday struck down the actor's effort to dismiss the criminal case

Smollett in early 2019 made headlines after he told police officers  that he was attacked by two white men who shouted epithets at him.  However, several weeks later, Smollett, who is black, was charged with  one felony count of lying to authorities after officers uncovered  evidence that suggested that the incident was staged. After initial charges against him were dropped by Cook County State  Attorney Kim Foxx's office, a special prosecutor was appointed and  charged him with felony counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly  filing false police reports about what happened.

The actor has denied  the allegations and has pleaded not guilty. Foxx, who received funding from wealthy left-wing financier George Soros for her reelection  campaign, came under criticism for her handling of the case. The special  prosecutor concluded she and her office did nothing criminal but did  abuse their discretion and made false statements about the case. On Oct. 15, Judge James Linn said that Smollett's case now is being  handled by a special prosecutor and stated he won't interfere, according  to reporters. Smollett's trial is set for Nov. 29.

One of the actor's lawyers, Nenye Uche, said that Smollett had been offered a non-prosecution deal by prosecutors who had previously served in Cook County... Smollett being "hauled back into court again" is a violation of his due process rights, Uche argued in court, USA Today reported...  Amid widespread speculation that Smollett partook in a hoax to  advance his career, the actor was later written out of "Empire," which  subsequently went off the air. Smollett is also fighting a civil lawsuit  from the city of Chicago, which claims the actor owes the city tens of thousands of dollars to cover police costs during the investigation. Earlier this month, it was announced the jury selection phase of Smollett's trial would start in early November.

At its roots, communism is an ideology that strives on the capitalization of extremists. Under communist rule, moderates are not allowed to exist. You either support the communist revolution or risk being labelled as an enemy of the people. This idea of dividing and conquering can be seen in successful communist revolutions throughout history. Whether it's Russia, China, or Cuba, communists followed the same steps to turn a population against one another. They first identify an issue to be used as a vehicle to gain supporters and call for a violent revolution. They then polarize that issue, forcing people to choose sides. By eliminating the middle, only the extremists of either faction remain. Conflict will inevitably erupt between these factions, weakening the established systems and allowing communist dictators to seize power.

And traditional Chinese culture, one of the longest in history, was almost completely wiped out in a few short decades... Communism claims to build a "heaven on Earth," but what it delivers is little more than a glorified prison. However, book author and blogger Charles Hugh Smith argues that the shortages are actually intended to increase the profits of global companies. He adds that the shortages are designed to prevent potential competitors from entering the market and undermining revenue streams. Smith notes in his Of Two Minds blog that not all scarcities arise from cartels limiting supply to keep prices high. "Global corporations didn't go through all the effort to establish quasi-monopolies and cartels for our convenience. " Smith argues that competition and abundance are "anathemas to profits." Thus, there is zero incentive to expand the number of suppliers and increase competition. "Wide-open competition and structural abundance are the least conducive [settings] for generating reliably ample profits, while quasi-monopolies and cartels that control scarce supplies are the ideal profit-generating machines,"

The resulting shortages have caused the prices of existing items to increase. Microchip is one of those products. Many consumers have scrambled to purchase products that use this component, such as electric vehicles and smartphones. But as more cars have entered production, the competition for chips has also increased – leading to many car manufacturers shutting down plants and redirecting labor to priority car models.

This is what police officers across the country do every day. After getting a call of a woman with two small children stranded at a gas station  at night with no money for gas, Officer Greg Howard from the South Bend  Police Department paid for her fuel so that she could be on her way  home. The woman had parked at the Martin's Express gas station off Western  Avenue after her tank had run out, but she didn't have enough money to  fill it... "When we got there, I made contact with this woman, and I said, 'Hey,  you know, somebody called in and was worried about you and wanted to  make sure you're doing okay,'" ... "She was immediately—she was a little embarrassed, and was kind of defensive. She's like, 'I'll leave, I can  leave.' And I told her she wasn't in trouble; we were just checking to  make sure that she was okay."

Thinking only of themselves

After talking to the mom, the officer learned that she was waiting in the parking lot for midnight—for the first of the month to hit—when her  card would have enough money to pay for the gas.  Unwilling to let the family wait so long, at a gas station late at night, officer Howard insisted on paying it forward. "I filled up her gas tank and she was really, really appreciative,  she was almost crying," Howard told the newspaper. He thought to  himself, "This is what we should be doing for one another, this is what  being a good human being is about." It's everyone's job to help one  another.

"So I gave the kid high five, and they left and went on their way." The officer said that such actions are far from uncommon in his line of work; it just doesn't get much publicity. "I've gotten gas for people, changed tires, stuff like that, bought  food for people, it happens a lot and doesn't get that much attention,"  he said. "I've seen a lot of other officers do this kind of thing all the  time," he added. "It doesn't get a lot of attention, and we don't do it  to get attention.

With Joe Biden's poll ratings hemorrhaging daily, and the country going to the dogs, Donald Trump is campaigning like the elections were next month

The 45th president proved on Saturday at an electrified rally in Des Moines, Iowa, that the smug, defiant face of the Republican Party continues to be Donald J Trump.... other possible contenders – like Texas Senator Ted Cruz, former Vice President Mike Pence and former UN ambassador Nikki Haley – will remain dried up wall flowers next to America's most controversial politician in many ages. Trump, the perennial showman, proved that he still possesses the uncanny ability for channeling the raw anger and frustration that so many Americans are experiencing right now. His fight is their fight. But, to be fair, public fury in the US is bubbling so close to the surface that even a political amateur would have little trouble setting these passions alight. In the hands of a master orator like Trump, however, the result is something flammable to behold.

At the age of 78, the Democrat leader already had the distinction of being the oldest person on record to become US president.

DeSantis: A younger man and a 'Trump clone' anyway at least to the democrats

Trump will thus find himself in the powerful position to be a potential king or kingmaker in the 2024 presidential campaign, opting either to take another shot for the White House at an advanced age, or use his immense clout by throwing his support behind a younger politician who shares his vision. On that score, Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has fought back against Biden's fiercely divisive Covid regulations with real tenacity, gives conservatives what they want to hear, albeit without Trump's trademark saucy tongue. Finally, there is one last obstacle that Republicans must overcome in order to get out as many voters as possible come 2024, as well as in the 2022 midterms, and that is voter apathy... In a September poll taken by Suffolk University/USATODAY, 70% of Republicans maintained that Joe Biden was not legitimately elected President... The far more urgent question, then, is not whether Trump will run again in 2024...

We first reported about this last week as we uncovered the fact that Joe Biden supposedly took his COVID booster shot on a production set near the White House and not in the White House. Yesterday, "FAKE PRESIDENT" trended on Twitter as Biden used the fake production set again. During comments today on raising the debt ceiling, Biden used the fake Oval Office AGAIN and included the fake Spring flowers in the fake window. Everything is smoke and mirrors with this presidency.

Recently published undercover videos show  multiple scientists working for pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, confirm  that people who are naturally infected with COVID-19 have a far superior immunity to the virus than the immunity the vaccines allegedly provide. Nick Karl, a scientist who is directly involved in the production of Pfizer's COVID vaccine, said that natural immunity is more effective than the current COVID-19 vaccines, including the one produced by the company he works for. "When somebody is naturally immune — like they got COVID — they  probably have more antibodies against the virus... When you actually get  the virus, you're going to start producing antibodies against multiple  pieces of the virus... So, your antibodies are probably better at that  point than the [COVID] vaccination,"

A second Pfizer official and Senior Associate Scientist, Chris Croce, corroborated Karl's assertion about COVID immunity, and a third Pfizer scientist, Rahul Khandke, admitted his company demands that its employees keep this information from the public.  A recent scientific paper published in Nature offers  a more comprehensive estimate that places the true number of infections  by the end of 2020 at more than 100 million people. That's equal to  almost one third of the U.S. population. This revised number shows just  how rapidly the novel coronavirus spread through the country last year. If this estimate is accurate, it is safe to assume that the more  transmissible delta variant which became dominant this year, may have  already infected around 100 million more Americans in 2021.

This would mean that almost 75% of the population already have a natural immunity to the virus, not counting those who were vaccinated. The numbers would also mean that the overall infection fatality rate is far lower than previously believed... The authors concluded that  prior Covid infection induces a "robust" and "long-lived humoral immune  response," leading some scientists to suggest that natural immunity is probably lifelong. Another recent study found that the current vaccines do next to nothing to help the body's CD8 T-cells, which is the key to long-term immunity...  According to the first-quarter results published by Pfizer this week,  its coronavirus jab has racked up billions for the biopharma giant in  the first three months of 2021. The financial results also revealed that Pfizer has vastly exceeded  its Covid-19 vaccine sales forecast of $15bn, and now expects the jab to  bring in over $30bn of revenue in 2021...

An ISIS terrorist affiliate claimed responsibility for a suicide bomb attack that killed dozens inside an Afghan mosque on Friday. ISIS-K, the Afghanistan branch of the Syria- and Iraq-terror organization, said one of its members was behind the blast via its Amaq news channel. The individual who was behind the attack was a Uyghur Muslim, the group said. The blast tore through a crowded mosque in the city of Kunduz during Friday noon prayers, the highlight of the Muslim religious week. It was the latest in a series of ISIS bombings and shootings that have targeted Afghanistan's new Taliban rulers.

Kunduz provincial spokesman Matiullah Rohani told news outlets that at least 46 people died in the blast, adding that more than 100 more were injured. ... And the Taliban "strongly condemns this heinous act and promises to find and punish the perpetrators of this heinous crime," ... The attack, according to the U.N. mission in Afghanistan, is "part of a disturbing pattern of violence" and represents the third "deadly attack this week apparently targeting a religious institution."

"Thousands of ISIS members were released from prisons" Wonder why?

"The U.N. family in Afghanistan is deeply concerned by reports of very high casualties in an attack today in Sayyidabad Shia Mosque," it said. "Initial information indicates more than 100 people killed and injured in a suicide blast inside the mosque." In recent days, the Taliban—itself a designated terrorist group by several U.S. intelligence agencies—said it has conducted operations against ISIS-K in Afghanistan, killing several of the group's fighters. After the Taliban took over the country, Pentagon officials acknowledged that potentially thousands of ISIS members were released from prisons in August. And this week, a Republican lawmaker stated that a terrorist who carried out a bombing in Kabul in late August was released by the Taliban just days earlier.

"U.S. national security officials have now confirmed to me the reports that the Aug. 26 Kabul bomber was a known ISIS-K terrorist that was previously detained at the Bagram prison and was released along with thousands of others just days before the deadly attack," Rep. Some of the top utility providers in the United States cut off power  to customers across the nation despite receiving tax bailouts through  the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act

  In September, The Center for Biological Diversity's Energy Justice  Program and BailoutWatch released its "Powerless in the Pandemic" report  which found that the nation's top utilities received a collective $1.25  billion from last year's administration bailouts, allowing them to  grant customers temporary relief. Under the $2.2 trillion economic stimulus bill passed by Congress on  March 25, 2020, and signed into law on March 27, 2020, businesses in the  energy sector were able to get hefty tax bailouts if they were at risk  of taking an economic hit as a result of the pandemic.  But instead, the top utility providers continued to shut off  families' electric services almost a million times... Sixteen of the providers suspended or canceled electric services to  almost one million households between...   leaving people without access to hot water and other utilities, and  forcing some to vacate their home altogether...

This reminds me of the Obama era bailouts to banks and Wall Street speculators

Nine companies received tax bailouts amounting to $1.25 billion, of which 8.5 percent could have been used to prevent every shutoff reported. Together, Duke Energy and DTE Energy received a combined total of  $845 million in government bailouts... 203,000 times, despite their tax bailout providing them with enough  funding to allow customers to forgo utility bill payments more than 150  times. The worst offenders were NextEra Energy, parent of Florida Power  & Light, Duke Energy, Southern Company, Dominion Energy, Exelon, and  DTE Energy... According to The Center for Biological Diversity, the money these  utility services spent paying executives and increasing shareholder  dividends could have afforded them instead to bail out their customers  over 500 times...
