Remember back in the 1980s somebody in Atlanta was going  around killing Black children? The Black activists of that time, for  some reason or other, said it was a White man doing it

Later, the killer turned out to be a Black man named Wayne Williams. Remember the "Beltway Sniper" in 2002? The media, the chief of police  for Washington, DC, and an FBI agent dressed up to look like the comic  book character Clark Kent, were all saying that the sniper was "a White man in a white van."

Later, it turned out that the snipers were a Black  Muslim and a Black illegal immigrant who drove around in a Chevrolet  Caprice. Remember Tawana Brawley, saying she was beat up by some White  policemen? She was so stupid that she wrote racist remarks on her own  chest upside down so that she could read them.

Remember Gail Mangum, the Black "escort" for hire, who falsely accused the Duke University men's lacrosse team of gang-raping her? And then, of course, there's Jussie Smollett.... All of these lies were massively promoted in the Jewish-run  "mainstream" media. But these incontrovertible, statistically provable  facts are never highlighted by them: In a typical year, there are fewer  than 10 White man on Black woman rapes in the United States.

In a  typical year, there are more than 10,000 Black man on White woman rapes  in the United States. In 2005, for example, 37,460 rapes of White women  by Black men were known to police.

It has been estimated that the  Black-to-White per capita rate ratio for the perpetration of interracial  rape is at least 3,000 to one. If the races were equals in behavior, that ratio would be one to one.

The Pentagon announced Monday that at the direction of President Joe Biden it's placing 8,500 American troops at a "heightened readiness to deploy" in support of Eastern NATO allies

  Department of Defense (DOD) press secretary John Kirby stressed to  reporters at a Jan. 24 briefing that "no decision has been made to deploy" any troops at this time.  "We remain committed to the (NATO) alliance, and we absolutely remain  committed to bolstering the capabilities of NATO's eastern flank to the  degree that they desire that extra support," Kirby said. Russia has amassed tens of thousands of troops along its border with  Ukraine, as well as Russia-annexed Crimea and Belarus. Kirby said Monday  that the Russian force has continued to grow in recent days.

The heightened alert puts the United States in a position to provide additional brigade combat teams, logistics, medical, aviation, intelligence surveillance, reconnaissance, and other capabilities into Europe in the event the NRF is activated or under a "deteriorating security environment." The idea of destroying the nuclear family is not new

USA Today, a Gannett media outlet, published a story arguing that California should "abolish parenthood" and turn over all children to the state in order to promote "equity."A writer named Joe Matthews with Zócalo Public Square says that the only way the Golden State will ever "achieve true equity" is if the government forces parents to "give away their children." All throughout his article, Matthews tries to make the case that the problem with society is that parents are passing along "privilege" to their children. The normal nuclear family cycle, he claims, continues to reinforce an inequitable society and must be done away with completely. Matthews' ideal society is one in which the government "raises" children without their parents getting in the way. This will allow for them to be more easily indoctrinated into the Cult of LGBTQ, for instance. Children who attend public school are already being raised by the state, but this is apparently not enough because they still go home to their parents at the end of the school day. Matthews wants them to never go home to their parents in order to make things "fair." Matthews actually wrote that California should make "raising your own children illegal."

Taxes will cover the government's expense for the child's upbringing

One suggestion he makes is to take poor children away from their parents and force them into rich families. He writes that "homeowners might swap children with their homeless neighbors." "Instead, it would simply reward poor children with the homes of the rich and penalize rich children, forcing them to be homeless," reports Humans Are Free. "But logic and reason were not expected in such ridiculousness." "The author admits to the dystopian nature of such a proposal, but says it would be a necessary means to a collective utopian dream in which the hive mind of parentless children can be used to achieve greatness."...

Under government care they will 'have more freedom to mandate what is needed'

He even uses the phrase "brave new world" to describe this type of scenario, contending that anyone who opposes it "just can't see how our relentless pursuit of equity" is supposedly needed to fix society's ills. Keep in mind that the USA Today network controls more than 260 daily local newspaper brands and digital marketing service companies, including ReachLocal, WordStream, and ThriveHive, as well as the U.K.... Top officials in Israel are said to be preparing for a scenario in which will they fly out tens of thousands of Jewish people from Ukraine in the event of a Russian invasion... In a report on Sunday, Haaretz claimed that representatives from several government offices had met over the weekend to discuss the risk of the Jewish community in the Eastern European nation potentially being caught up in a conflict. The briefing is said to have included officials from the National Security council; the foreign defense, transport, and affairs ministries; as well as those responsible for maintaining relations with Jews residing in territories of the former Soviet Union. A massive group of truckers protesting the COVID-19 vaccine mandate on truck drivers started their march from Vancouver on Sunday

  The Freedom Convoy 2022 left northern British Columbia en route to the Canadian capital city Ottawa in demonstration against the mandate, and truckers from Ontario and eastern Canada are also expected to arrive in Ottawa... Once there, drivers from every province then plan to join under a group called Canada Unity and form a large demonstration against the mandate on Jan. 29. One truck driver told the Vancouver Sun that he estimates around 500 trucks from B.C. will join the rally before growing to around 5,000 to 10,000 trucks from across the country once in Ottawa. The march comes after the federal mandate for truck drivers went into effect on Jan. 15, despite opposition from members of the trucking industry.

The only way you're going to cross the border without the vaccine mandate

Under the mandate, Canadian drivers returning to Canada must be vaccinated in order to avoid entering quarantine. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced similar requirements starting Jan. 22 for non-U.S. nationals crossing into the United States who are not vaccinated, including non-U.S. truck drivers. Prior to the mandate going into effect, Canadian truck drivers were deemed an essential service meaning they were exempt from such border restrictions. The convoy raised over $3 million in a week prior to the demonstration... The money raised will be used to provide fuel, food, and lodging for the marchers, organizers said. "Our current government is implementing rules and mandates that are destroying the foundation of our businesses, industries, and livelihoods. While there was considerable support for Hitler among small industrialists, most sectors of big business consistently advised against permitting him to form a government. ... If Big Industry did not finance the party, and indeed the usual left-wing purges of the party were not strictly caused because of their leanings, but because of power moves inside the movement. Why didn't they go after Capitalism in their talking points?... Hitler, despite always aiming for the so called "Jewish-Bolshevism", saw it as none-other than the agent of Capitalism doctrine, which inherently contained a Judaic spirit to it and through the brutal butchery of Bolshevism, by which they could weaken nations and allow for finance to take over. Most of the men who attacked the Speaker's Lobby doors  at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, have not been identified or  arrested, and the family of Ashli Babbitt wants to question them about the events that led up to her shooting death. Of the dozens of people who congregated before the double doors  leading from the hallway into the Speaker's Lobby that day, only two  have been arrested by the FBI. The Babbitt family has identified at  least six others who could have valuable information on what took place  before and after U.S. Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd shot and killed  Babbitt. Aaron Babbitt said identifying these men is an important part of his investigation into his wife's killing. He said the authorities are not interested in pursuing it.

"To look into these people would go against what they're trying to  do, which is to just forget about Ashli and just look the other way," Aaron Babbitt told The Epoch Times. "'Pay no attention to what's going on over there.' So they don't want these people. They probably don't want to find them. Whether they are government actors or informants or whatever, they don't want to really find those people."  Tayler Hansen, the video journalist who documented the shooting, said  the most active rioters from the hallway are still unknowns.

Many of these unidentified figures entered the Capitol at the same  time, as part of a crowd that grew as they moved from the Rotunda into  other areas of the Capitol.  Aaron Babbitt said the lack of scene processing by crime-scene  investigators remains among his deep frustrations from that day. Police  are seen tracking through Ashli's blood on the floor and leaving red  footprints in the hallway and down the stairs.

"I don't think there was any investigation on the scene. Nothing,"  Aaron Babbitt said. Surveillance video of the hallway is believed to be among 14,000  hours of video of events that day possessed by the U.S. Department of Justice. That video remains under a federal protective order. An overhead view  of the hallway action would provide the clearest view of the actions of  the various rioters and bystanders. The video likely will be among  items subpoenaed by criminal defense lawyers and those filing civil  lawsuits. Aaron Babbitt said it pains him to see how his wife was wheeled out  to the ambulance, with her bare chest exposed, only to be captured on  camera. "They didn't even have the decency to give her any dignity," he  said.

"It happens enough times you just realize these are scum of the earth people that have no backbone," Aaron Babbitt said. The threats and hateful comments started on Jan. 7, 2021. "I'm just getting these awful messages and I'm like, 'I just lost my wife. What kind of scum of the earth are you?'" he said. Trump slammed Byrd as an "out-of-control dope" whose identity was shielded by authorities for eight months after the shooting. "He couldn't get on television fast enough," Trump said, referring to  a 2021 interview Byrd did with Lester Holt of NBC News. "The guy who  shot Ashli Babbitt for no reason, this guy couldn't get on television  fast enough. He's so proud of himself...

The United States broke all previous records for mass shootings in 2021. None of the attacks had a white racial or terrorist motive.

The year closed with a total of 691 mass shootings and several hundred deaths related to these incidents in total, according to information collected by the Gun Violence Archive. Estimates reveal that the mass shooters are overwhelmingly black. The grim milestone was largely ignored by the liberal Brookings Institute, which instead praised the Department of Justice's aggressive crackdown on political activity as the reason for why there weren't any far-right or "white supremacist" attacks. The FBI's resources are currently preoccupied with soliciting alleged victims of "hate crimes" and "confronting white supremacy" as violent threats to citizens continue to rise to all time highs.

2021 also saw at least 222 school shootings, another record, according to the Center for Homeland Defense and Security... School shootings, also driven largely by black violence, have steadily increased in recent years, with 2018 and 2019 being the third and second most violent years for school children to date...Last November, the FBI was forced to pay a $130 million dollar settlement to the families of victims of the 2018 Parkland shooting after it emerged that agents showed negligence by ignoring the threat posed by Nikolas Cruz, who went on to murder 17 classmates.

In data released in 2020, only 54% of all murders led to an arrest, the lowest ever recorded. Recently, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot publicly begged the Merrick Garland Department of Justice to send federal agents to help battle out of control crime in her city. The breakdown in public safety and dramatic expansion of homicidal threats has attracted criticism about the priorities of federal authorities when juxtaposed with the expensive, discriminatory and time consuming targeting and profiling of white men who criticize the government, such as the FBI-driven Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot currently slipping through the fingers of federal prosecutors.

Mass media and politically influential Jewish lobbies such as the Anti-Defamation League are continuing to drive the FBI's crusade against "white supremacy" and "hate crimes" going into 2022, even in murder capitals such as Philadelphia, where there were only 63 self-reported "hate crimes,"... Contrasting with this moral panic is a jaw-dropping 562 murders in the city during 2021. With data-driven policing being declared "racist", the rising black crime wave that has locked Americans in their homes in 2020 and 2021 is bound to only get worse.

As of 2016, China's empty apartment units could house New York City 27 times over... the astonishing inventory of 70 million empty apartments structures accumulating dust throughout China. This may be a good moment to retell an uncharacteristically charming story Trump told on himself, dating to the savings and loan crisis (S&L crisis) of the late 1980s and early 1990s. That was a time when 1,043 out of the 3,234 savings and loan associations in the United States failed as they tried to digest billions in over-mortgaged real estate properties. At that time, Trump found himself walking the streets of the Upper East Side of Manhattan one evening with his girlfriend of the moment. I am convinced that Chinese government statistics are as bogus as those in the United States. And more so ... concludes that total debt in China is a breathtaking 833 percent of GDP. That means a debt of roughly $116.6 trillion.

A young father and his infant son were murdered by a black criminal in Kirksville, Missouri last week

22-year-old  Braxton Cottrill, 18-month-old Parker, 18-year-old Alissa Anders, and  21-year-old Randall Yarrington were shot in an alleged ambush  by 22-year-old Anquan Glover, in a vicious ambush. Cottrill and Parker  both died, while Anders remains in critical condition.  The shooting occurred on December 30th, yet the black suspect has not yet been apprehended.  Glover's criminal  record runs deep into his juvenile years, but these records are sealed.  In just four short years since turning 18, Glover has been charged with  felony assaults, first degree robberies, jumping bail, a myriad of  reckless activities, and even a separate shooting.

In 2017, Glover followed a car  into a Quik Trip parking lot full of people he claimed had "snitched"  on him. He approached the vehicle and opened fire on the motorists with a  handgun.  According to court records obtained by National Justice, Glover -- who had received charitable pleas for previous offenses  -- was sentenced in 2019 to separate five and four year prison sentences for the numerous charges he had incurred in relation to his spree of criminal activity.  While in custody, Glover was again charged for  a previously unresolved armed robbery in Jefferson City, Missouri as  well as felonious damage to prison property while incarcerated. In April  2021, he was again sentenced to a year in prison yet was released years  before his accumulated time was completed.

Glover was free to  murder Cottrill and his son thanks to a series of sweeping reforms by  the Missouri Supreme Court that make it difficult to secure convictions,  water down prison sentences, and forbids judges from taking a criminal's record into account during bail hearings regardless of the gravitiy of an offense... The  Supreme Court's reforms -- dictated by fiat rather than legislation --  are consciously intended to privilege non-white criminals in the justice  system. Many of the changes were based on recommendations from the  court's Commission on Racial and Ethnic Fairness,  which receives policy recommendations from anti-white black and Jewish  college professors such as Mikah Thompson and David Achtenberg.

Republican Governor Mike Parson has been a leading figure among  conservative officials who support "criminal justice reform."

Since  taking office in 2018, Governor Parson has overseen efforts to significantly reduce Missouri's prison population by encouraging early release and probation sentences  over incarceration. His stated reason for these policies is that he  wants to save money.  After years of progress against  crime, Missouri is now currently home to some of the most dangerous  cities in the world. St Louis' homicide rate  is higher than in Mexico's cartel hubs, numerous Brazilian favelas, and  much of sub-Saharan Africa. Springfield, with its small population of  167,000, is one of the most dangerous metro areas in the United States...

People are attempting to use force and coercion to change the way others act, behave, and comply against their will. Values and our rule of law have become targets. One side seeks to impose its lifestyle and culture on a massive part of the population simply based on its self-perceived moral authority.... where one side, the Left, is fighting a war against the Right. Conservatives, for the most part, try to ignore the constant attacks, many still harboring the illusion that things can be resolved with compromise or concession.

Portraying Republicans as supporting an insurrection gives them all the reason they need to come down and come down hard. Concrete culverts are sitting abandoned, filling with mud,  instead of being used for the flood-prone portions of the roadway next  to the fence. But the unfinished lighting, ground sensors, and cameras are one of the biggest issues, Williams said. "Without the fiber  optics and the lighting system, they'll just climb  the fence and get over.

Senators and representatives have six months after being sworn into office to get rid of prohibited holdings or to place them in a blind trust.. If the Senate or House ethics committees determine that an individual member has profited illegally on a prohibited stock or related economic interest, the gain must be turned over to the U.S. Treasury.

He was identified as Martial Simon, 61, with no known address,  according to law enforcement sources. When asked if New Yorkers had to be worried about the suspect being released immediately from jail, he said no. He served two years in state prison for attempted robbery and was released in August 2021, state records show. Brown, 47, who is being held in the Pinellas County Jail in Florida on federal misdemeanor charges related to Jan. 6, told The Epoch Times he believes his arrest and prosecution are payback for his refusal to become a confidential informant. He said FBI agents from the Joint Terrorism Task Force met with him in late 2020 and asked him to become an informant. Brown said he recorded the FBI meeting for his own protection. He told the agents he wasn't interested in being an informant. Less than a week before he met with the FBI agents, Brown received a visit at his home by two agents who inquired about some things Brown posted on the social media site Parler... Brown said he met with two agents on Dec. 11 in a restaurant in Ybor City, Fla., and recorded the interaction. Within less than a minute of the start of the meeting, one of the agents made an offhand reference to Brown possibly working with JTTF again.

"In the days and weeks that followed the events of Jan. 6th, I was disgusted and appalled at the blatant lies that were coming from the media, politicians and the Department of Justice," Brown said. "I spoke the truth about my firsthand account and gave my professional opinions based on 20 years of special operations experience," ... The agent told Brown's sister that "the FBI/DHS (Department of Homeland Security) was 'concerned' I had been 'radicalized' and that I may be 'suicidal," ... As many as 40 agents from the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and local law enforcement descended on Brown's property in 15-20 vehicles...

"Without ever reading me my rights, they handcuffed me and put me in their unmarked SUV," Brown said. "Along with the misdemeanor arrest warrant, the ATF was there with a search warrant for our property and RV. "Clearly, when you are accused of being in a 'restricted area' [at the Capitol] nearly 1,000 miles away 9 months prior, the ATF needs to show up to conduct a search," Brown said. "Despite requesting multiple times to see any of the warrants I should have been served with, they repeatedly refused to show any of them, claiming they were 'too many pages.' "When asked by me and my girlfriend to produce the warrants at the time of arrest, they refused to produce them," Brown said. "One agent was even recorded stating, 'We don't know what we are looking for yet.' They should look for a copy of the Constitution and read it".

Pennsylvania state Senate Republicans are planning to draft legislation  that would send migrants arriving in Pennsylvania next door to President  Joe Biden's home state of Delaware

A memorandum  was issued by Republican state Sen. Mario M. Scavello to his colleagues  on Jan. 6, stating his intent to draft the bill and asking for support. "In the very near future, I intend to introduce legislation to address the influx of illegal immigrants being relocated into Pennsylvania,"  Scavello wrote in the memo. "This legislation is in response to many  news reports and many concerned citizens who have reached out to my  office regarding the relocation of illegal immigrants into their  communities in the past, now and in the future."

"How  many illegal immigrants has the President relocated to his own home  state of Delaware?  If it is good enough for Pennsylvania, then why not  redirect the relocation to Delaware," the memo reads.

According to Fox News,  concern has been rising lately in the state of Pennsylvania over the  issue of migration, after it had been revealed that "ghost" flights have  been landing in airports located in the cities of Scranton and  Allentown. while the flights didn't appear on any  publicly-available schedule, Fox News was able to obtain photos of the  "ghost" planes landing in the Keystone State.

If it is good enough for Pennsylvania, then why not  redirect the relocation to Delaware?" the memo by Scavello questions. Scavello  went on to point out that the state of Pennsylvania hasn't received  funding to help settle these newcomers in the state. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) said on Thursday that she will not help  her party to weaken or abolish the filibuster, all but ending President  Joe Biden's aspiration to pass comprehensive voting legislation that  would increase the federal government's power over elections. This announcement comes as little surprise to observers of the  Arizona maverick who, like former Sen. John McCain, has long been  willing to break with her party on various issues. "There's no need for me to restate  its role in protecting our country from wild reversals of federal  policy," Sinema said on Thursday. The announcement, though unsurprising, is a hard blow to President Joe Biden and other Democratic leaders...  Biden told a mostly-black crowd in Georgia. "I  support changing the Senate rules in whatever way they need to be changed to prevent a minority of senators from blocking action on voting rights."

Democrats have made several efforts to pass various pieces of election legislation that would effectively put the federal government in charge of elections across the United States... Because of the Senate's filibuster rule, practically any election  legislation that the House could send to the Senate would need the  support of at least 60 senators, including 10 GOP senators, to open  debate on the measure and allow it to go to a simple majority floor  vote. To get around this Senate rule, which has been a mainstay in the  Senate for decades, Schumer, Biden, and other Democrats have formulated a  new strategy: Change the Senate's rules completely to make the  deliberative chamber into a smaller version of the House... Using the so-called "nuclear  option," the majority party can change Senate rules by a simple majority  vote.

This is not the first time that Sinema has expressed her opposition  to weakening the filibuster. Democrats had the same debate during the summer of 2021, and in that debate Sinema squarely opposed the radical  changes being proposed by her party... Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has also expressed opposition to changing the filibuster to pass voting legislation in the past, though it is unclear whether she continues to hold to this position as she has been far less outspoken than Sinema and Manchin. Sinema's announcement represents another defeat for Biden,  whose $1.85 trillion "Build Back Better" Act was effectively killed by  Manchin's opposition...

The optimism surrounding New York City's City's new mayor, Eric Adams, seems to be quickly eroding due to several self-inflicted political wounds

Adams has endorsed a new policy that allows 800,000 non-citizens to vote in municipal elections. Republicans have filed a lawsuit contending the law violates the state constitution. It would also set a bad precedent. Trust in election outcomes is already being eroded and this law will continue the trend if it is upheld. Mayor Adams also named his brother as Deputy NYPD commissioner. He says his brother will help protect him from "the increase in white supremacy" in the city. Excuse me? Whites are a minority in New York City. In addition to the mayor and his brother being black, so, too, is the new police commissioner, Keechant Sewell, who is also female. The new district attorney for Manhattan, Alvin Bragg, is black. More about him in a moment.

Then there is the city council... "the first Muslim woman, the first South Asian members, the first openly gay Black woman, seven foreign-born New Yorkers, and more women and people of color poised to be elected than ever before. ... The next New York City Council is on track to be the most diverse and the most left-leaning in the city's history." It is. The new council chair is also a black woman. From such a profile one looks in vain to locate a "white supremacist" among them... Business leaders are meeting with him hoping to change his mind. They have a good case to make as crime in the city is rising quickly and adding to the fears and restrictions associated with the pandemic, which has hurt many businesses. Tourists are less likely to come to New York if they believe it is unsafe. ..

Mayor Adams responded to the murder by invoking the familiar progressive line about the need to end "gun violence." The cavalier attitude toward crime and the message sent to criminals in New York and other cities where progressives are in charge is that they can get away with things that once resulted in their arrest, prosecution, and incarceration. ... The first impressions made by Mayor Adams are not good. New York was once known as "Fun City." It is rapidly becoming gloomy and as it was in the 1970s, an increasingly dangerous place to visit and live.

An American Airlines passenger on Tuesday stormed the cockpit during boarding and tried to jump out the window. According to ABC's transportation reporter, "During boarding, an American Airlines passenger charged down the jetway and onto the aircraft. The man entered the open cockpit and damaged the flight controls. A pilot in the cockpit tried to stop him and then the man tried to jump out the open cockpit window. The aircraft is damaged and remains at the gate."The flight was leaving San Pedro, Honduras and heading to Miami. The Miami-bound plane was grounded and a replacement plane is expected to depart at 9:30 pm local time.

Top federal law enforcement officials have declined to answer numerous questions about Ray Epps, the Arizona resident captured on video encouraging Jan. 6 protestors to breach Capitol Hill. Controversy has surrounded Epps in recent months due to questions about his possible connection to law enforcement. Despite video evidence of him making repeated calls for action, Epps has not been charged in relation to Jan. 6, and his photo has been removed from the government's list of most wanted people from that event. The Democratic-led House committee investigating Jan. 6 reportedly said Jan. 11 that it has interviewed Epps, and that Epps denied any connection to law enforcement. But at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing earlier that day, Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) were unsuccessful in obtaining answers about Epps. Cruz asked the FBI's assistant director for national security, Jill Sanborn, 10 questions about Epps and other potential undercover feds, none of which received substantial answers.

When Cruz asked whether Epps worked with the FBI, Sanborn declined to answer—likewise for when Cruz asked about whether federal informants participated in the riots, encouraged the riots, or removed barriers. "I cannot answer that," Sanborn said to each query. Cruz pressed further. "Five seconds after Mr. Epps whispered to a person, that same person began forcibly tearing down the barricades.

Did Mr. Epps urge them to tear down the barricades?" Cruz asked."Similar to the other answers, I cannot answer that," Sanborn replied. Cotton asked a similar line of questions, this time directed towards Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olsen, the head of DOJ's national security branch. Olsen said he wasn't aware of any plain-clothes officers among the Jan. 6 crowd, and that he didn't know whether any undercover agents entered the Capitol.

"Your answers are all, 'I don't know,'" Cotton said... Olsen also said he didn't have any information about Epps. "This was a man on the most-wanted page for six months. Do you really expect us to believe that you don't know anything about him?" Cotton asked. "I simply don't have any information at all," Olsen responded. When pressed further, Olsen said he couldn't say how many rioters were arrested for crimes related to violence, or even name a single person from the government's list of most wanted Capitol Hill rioters. "This is a hearing to mark the one-year anniversary of Jan. 6, and you can't even tell us how many people have been charged with crimes of violence. Would you go into a briefing with the attorney general and not be able to answer such basic questions?"...

Epps ... reportedly said of his comments caught on video: "The only thing that meant is we would go in the doors like everyone else. Following the hearing, right-wing pundits took to Twitter to congratulate Cruz and Cotton for their questions. Cruz had been dragged through the coals by Fox News host Tucker Carlson a week earlier for referring to the Capitol Hill riots as "domestic terrorism." The Jan. 6 Committee reportedly issued the following statement shortly after the hearing: "Committee is aware of unsupported claims that Ray Epps was an FBI informant based on the fact that he was on the FBI Wanted list and then was removed from that list without being charged.

The New York State Republican Party, naturalized American citizens, and a Democrat city councilman have filed a lawsuit against New York City Mayor Eric Adams(D) over a new policy that gives voting rights to nearly a million foreign nationals.

Democrats on the 51-member New York City Council approved a plan last month that allows more than 800,000 foreign nationals with green cards, visas, and work permits the opportunity to vote in citywide elections so long as they have resided in the city for at least 30 consecutive days. Adams approved the plan this week, allowing it to become New York City policy. Now, the New York State Republican Party and others have filed a lawsuit to prevent the policy from going into effect, arguing that the state's constitution makes it explicitly clear that voting rights are reserved only for American citizens and not foreign nationals. "We vowed to use every legal tool in our arsenal to block this unconstitutional and un-American law, and that's exactly what we're doing," New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy said in a statement:

The law is clear and the ethics are even clearer: We shouldn't be allowing citizens of other nations to vote in our elections, full stop. We are only two weeks into the Adams administration and he is already kowtowing to the radical City Council. ...Staten Island Borough President Vito Fossella said, "the right to vote is one of our most sacred privileges and obligations" as American citizens. "Allowing 800,000 non-citizens, including those who have been here for less than thirty days, to vote in local elections is a slap in the face of every single American citizen, whether born or naturalized," "This unconstitutional act cheapens what it means to be a citizen and is an insult to every immigrant who has followed the law, taken citizenship classes, and swore an oath to our nation."

Aside from a number of Republican plaintiffs, naturalized American citizens and Democrat city councilman Robert Holden are among those suing Adams for the policy. Likewise, as Councilman Rev. Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx) has noted, the plan is set to dilute the votes of the city's citizens while shifting electoral power to foreign nationals with ties to the United Nations, Wall Street, and the global financial system.
