The U.S. Justice Department said it seized more than $3.6 billion worth of Bitcoin stolen in a 2016 hack from the Bitfinex currency exchange.

This marked the largest financial seizure on record based on Bitcoin's price as of last week, which is when the assets were confiscated, the DOJ said on Tuesday. "Today's arrests, and the Department's largest financial seizure ever, show that cryptocurrency is not a safe haven for criminals," Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco said in a statement. "In a futile effort to maintain digital anonymity, the defendants laundered stolen funds through a labyrinth of cryptocurrency transactions." Officials also arrested a husband-and-wife team in Manhattan on Tuesday for allegedly trying to launder the stolen cryptocurrency — Ilya Lichtenstein and his wife, Heather Morgan. The pair was allegedly trying to launder 119,754 Bitcoin stolen from the Bitfinex cryptocurrency exchange in a 2016 hack... The two could face up to 20 years in prison for money laundering and up to five years for conspiracy to defraud the U.S.

"Today, federal law enforcement demonstrates once again that we can follow money through the blockchain, and that we will not allow cryptocurrency to be a safe haven for money laundering or a zone of lawlessness within our financial system," said Assistant Attorney General Kenneth Polite Jr. During the August 2016 cyberattack, a hacker got into Bitfinex's system and carried out more than 2,000 unauthorized transactions, which transferred the stolen crypto into a digital wallet that was linked to Lichtenstein. Bitfinex is a cryptocurrency exchange owned by iFinex Inc. More than five years later, the total has risen to about $4.5 billion, the Justice Department said. A portion of the stolen money was cashed out and used to buy NFTs and gold...The DOJ plans to set up legal court proceedings that will help the victims get their stolen Bitcoin back.

When it comes to widespread conspiracies, according to almost two thirds of Romanians (65.7%), the Covid-19 pandemic was caused by global elites to impose control over the world's population...

Also, 28.5% of respondents believe that there is a global plan for implanting chips by vaccination, while 66% reject this theory... A curious but very credible Internet document called "The Mardi Gras Secrets" states that Illuminati agents poisoned and killed Presidents William Henry Harrison (1773-1841) and Zachary Taylor (1784-1850). They also poisoned James Buchanan in 1857 but he survived. All three were obstructing Illuminati- House of Rothschild plans for the US Civil War (1860-1865).  The document also describes the Illuminati role in the murders of Abraham Lincoln  (1865) and Senator Huey Long (1935). According to Wikipedia he died of "pneumonia." On July 3, 1850, Zachary Taylor threatened to hang those "taken in rebellion against the Union." The next day the President fell ill, vomited blackish material, and died July 9. (Kentucky authorities recently dug up Taylor's body looking for evidence of arsenic poisoning.)

"If the Vice President [Mike Pence] had 'absolutely no right' to  change the Presidential Election results in the Senate, despite fraud  and many other irregularities, how come the Democrats and RINO  Republicans ... are desperately trying to pass legislation that will not  allow the Vice President to change the results of the election?" Trump said in a statement. "Actually, what they are saying, is that Mike Pence did have the  right to change the outcome, and they now want to take that right away.

Between 300 and 400 vehicles are  expected downtown in an attempt to join the convoy, police told  reporters Friday, as well as 2,000 people on foot. The protests are  growing, organized in other cities this weekend including Toronto,  Quebec City and Winnipeg.  Others have criticized  Trudeau's use of incendiary language, such as calling protestors a  "fringe minority," as unhelpful.

Her appointment reflects support to  push the party to the right, away from the center where O'Toole  attempted to score support from disenchanted Liberals. Bergen has been supportive of the  convoy, which began as a protest against the federal government's  vaccine mandate for cross-border truckers...

Last Monday, The Gateway Pundit reported that this bill passed along with six more critical election integrity bills in the Senate Government Committee meeting. Democrats did not vote for a single one of these election integrity measures. Why is that? If passed in full, SB11120 will require counties to use standardized ballots with 19 different security features, including a holographic design and watermarks. The new ballots will also have QR codes that enable voters to track their votes using a smartphone.

Democrats don't think we can afford the ballots that cost 25 cents each. The cost of all ballots across the state would only be a fraction of the $3 Million Zuckerbucks received by Maricopa County, alone to "fix" the 2020 election. In yesterday's consideration of SB1120, State Senator Borrelli read a quote from Kamala Harris' Twitter page, where she demands paper ballots to secure elections. Every year, including this year, Jews around the world will  be gathering to celebrate the most holy day on the Jewish calendar. It  is called Yom Kippur, or the Day of Atonement

  At synagogues everywhere worshippers will recite the Kol Nidre prayer.  Kol Nidre means "all vows." The goyim are told that Yom Kippur is an occasion when  pious, saintly Jews approach their Maker in a penitential rite to beg  his forgiveness for wrongs they have committed during the past year. That is rubbish. In fact, on their Day of Atonement Jews ask for and  receive nothing less than absolution for all the sins and wrongs against  Gentiles they are about to commit in the coming year! In so  doing, they cut a shrewd lawyer's deal with their God (whom they call  YHWH or Yahweh, traditionally anglicized as Jehovah) that gives them an  exemption in advance from all wrongdoing.

Athletes in primary schools and colleges in South Dakota will have to compete in sports with peers of their own gender if Gov. Kristi Noem signs legislation that lawmakers in both state chambers have passed. South Dakota's House of Representatives, in a 50–17 vote on Tuesday, approved the bill, Senate Bill 46. No Democrats voted for the bill and 10 Republicans voted against it. The state's upper chamber passed the legislation in January with a 26–7 vote. The bill says that any sports teams at schools must be based on the biological sex at birth of the participating athletes. If a team is designated a girls team, for instance, biological boys will not be allowed to participate.
It was introduced at the request of South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, a Republican.

"This is about fairness," Noem said during a recent appearance on "Fox News Sunday." "This is about making sure that our girls have a chance to be successful and to compete, to win scholarships, potentially go on to play professional sports beyond that. We want them to have the opportunity to do that. "Title IX fought for that years and years ago and I've been doing this for years, which started, man, almost five years ago now in the sport of rodeo, where we protected girls' events," she added. "So now I'm bringing a bill to the legislature that will be the strongest bill in the nation in protecting fairness in girls' sports, and I'm hopeful that my legislators will support it."

A spokesman for Noem confirmed in an email that the governor will be signing the legislation. South Dakota lawmakers rejected a similar bill last year after Noem proposed changes they found untenable. Democrats and some groups said the new legislation will negatively impact youth who identify as a different sex than their biological sex. ... The South Dakota House also passed House Bill 1005, which would require students to use bathrooms and locker rooms assigned to their biological sex. Under the bill, students would be able to file a request for reasonable accommodation with school officials and may be granted the use of a single-occupancy bathroom or changing room. That bill is heading to the state Senate.

Kelly Meggs and other members of the Oath Keepers could not have done one of the major things of which they are accused by federal prosecutors: force their way into the U.S. Capitol Rotunda on Jan. 6, 2021, through the famous Columbus Doors, a defense attorney says

The two sets of historic doors that lead into the Rotunda were opened by someone on the inside, and not his client, says defense attorney Jonathon Moseley. Department of Justice video widely circulated on Twitter this week shows a man trying to open the inner doors by leaning against them, before turning around as if listening to someone, then returning to the entrance and opening the left door for protesters. "The outer doors cast from solid bronze would require a bazooka, an artillery shell or C4 military-grade explosives to breach," Moseley wrote in a letter to federal prosecutors. The 20,000-pound Columbus Doors that lead into the Rotunda on the east side of the U.S. Capitol are secured by magnetic locks that can only be opened from the inside using a security code controlled by Capitol Police... the U.S. Capitol Police will begrudgingly testify that that is impossible and cannot be done?"... Meggs and 10 other members of the Oath Keepers were charged with seditious conspiracy, destruction of government property, obstruction of an official proceeding, civil disorder, tampering with documents, and other counts related to rioting on Jan. 6. Moseley said there's one big problem with that accusation: it's impossible to force entry from the outside.

Only someone with the security code could release the locks—from the inside. Video evidence submitted in the case showed the glass panes in the inner doors were cracked but intact, so no one accessed the building through the windows or by reaching for the inside door handles, he said. "Therefore," Moseley wrote. "Nobody opened the Rotunda doors from the outside. Someone opened the doors from the inside." The inner doors were closed and U.S. Capitol Police were stationed outside. Protesters sprayed police with pepper spray, threw items at them, and hit them with flagpoles. A short time later, the inner doors were opened and hundreds of protesters streamed into the Rotunda, the video shows. A protester in the Rotunda is heard shouting, "Don't vandalize the property!"

The U.S. Capitol Police officers on duty were emphatic, he said, that the doors could not be opened from the outside. "These are facts that... could easily have been investigated, check(ed), and determined before the U.S. Attorney's Office presented false information to the grand jury," Moseley wrote."For these purposes, I don't care who opened the Columbus Doors from the inside, or why, or who they worked for. History will reveal all of that," Moseley wrote. "History will care very much. But all I care about is that it wasn't my client or any of these defendants, and the U.S. Attorney's Office knows that or should have discovered it upon reasonable investigation."

Nigro's video from outside the entrance shows a group of Oath Keepers near the Columbus Doors, which are clearly open at the time the men got near the threshold. By the time they entered the Capitol, dozens if not more than 100 people had flowed into the building, the video shows. Moseley accused prosecutors of crafting a "fabricated case" against the Oath Keepers that is "false and reprehensible." "This baseless prosecution is the greatest threat to the Republic since 1812. This prosecution is not about an attack on our Republic. This prosecution IS the attack on our Republic," Moseley wrote, "seeking to criminalize political dissent, free speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of political association, and the right to petition government for the redress of grievances."

Moseley rapped federal authorities for "dishonestly trying to deceive the public" for eight months by concealing the fact that six demonstration permits had been issued for the Capitol grounds on Jan. 6. Implicit in those permits is the permission for people to have ingress and egress across the grounds to reach each event, he said. Moseley proposed a stipulation that both sides in the case agree none of the demonstrators or the defendants opened the Columbus Doors on Jan. 6 and that the government strike three paragraphs of the indictment that refer to defendants entering the Capitol because they are "untrue and withdrawn." Prosecutors refused that proposal, he said. News of the Columbus Doors issue comes as more video released from protective court seal shows large groups of Jan. 6 protesters peacefully streaming into the U.S. Capitol through wide-open doors.

  Out of all firearm buyers, nearly 30 percent were first-timers. Correspondingly, over 40 percent of new buyers were women in 2020, according to data  collected...  "The surveys revealed that new gun owners are continuing to embrace their Second Amendment  rights and nearly half of them are seeking out professional training.  These trends show that not only is there still a strong interest in gun  ownership but also that these new gun owners are interested in learning  more about the safe and responsible handling, use and storage of  firearms." Most of the people who bought a firearm for the  first time were divided into the age groups: 30 and under (22.2  percent), 31–40 (27 percent), 41–50 (21.7 percent), 51–60 (13.8 percent)  and over 60 (8.1 percent). In 2020, the most-purchased firearm was a  semi-automatic handgun.

Sixty point five percent of all retailers reported an increase in  white Americans purchasing guns and ammunition. Forty-four point eight  percent reported an uptick among black Americans, 36.9 percent for  Hispanic, 27.1 percent for Asians, and 18.4 percent for Native  Americans. Fifty-seven percent of all gun buyers were white men, followed by  white women who made up 14 percent...

Congresswoman Cori Bush of St. Louis has confirmed that a vehicle belonging to her was hit by gunfire... "Thankfully no one was harmed. But any act of gun violence shakes your soul." The shooting itself happened last Saturday, KDSK reported citing an anonymous source described as close to the congresswoman. The same source said someone had tampered with the door handles of other cars, but that there was no evidence Bush was specifically targeted. "No one should have to fear for their safety here in St. Louis and that is exactly why our movement is working every day to invest in our communities, eradicate the root causes of gun violence, and keep every neighborhood safe,"

Word of the incident with Bush's vehicle comes a day after two St. Louis police officers were shot in nearby Ferguson. One of them is in critical condition, local media reported. The shooting happened as they approached a car they believed was connected to a nearby homicide. Bush is an outspoken Black Lives Matter activist who first became involved in politics during the 2014 Ferguson riots following the police shooting of African-American teen Michael Brown.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's warning that  Republicans will run in this year's midterm elections on Biden's  failures, including border security. Biden replied that his "report  card" on the border will look pretty good, and that Amnesty would have  solved the problem... He even claimed that five Republican senators agree with his agenda,  but told him they fear they'll lose their primaries if they support his policy. He refused to name them.

Then came the obligatory attack on President Trump for ruining relations with Latin America, presumably by demanding those countries enforce basic immigration laws against migrant caravans and take back  bogus asylum seekers.  And the real solution to the mass migration, we are to believe, is dumping more money into Latin America's kleptocracies. Biden's bill  offered every illegal alien "a pathway to citizenship." ... Biden's bill didn't even do that. It simply  legalized all the illegals. Biden is known for  concocting stories... Republicans, he claimed, say Central Americans are  just coming here for fun, or jobs, or whatever. And he said "real  problems" in their countries push them to the U.S. border.

Truth is, Biden draws them here.  Todd Bensman, of the Center for Immigration  Studies, visited the border recently and found plenty of them willing to  say why they came. They believe the president opened the border and  will allow them to stay. ... Former Border Patrol Chief Mark Morgan recently said that more than three million people tried to illegally enter the country last year. At least 600,000 succeeded...

And if illegals cross the border without a hitch, they can rest  assured they won't be deported. The Biden Regime announced last year  that it would no longer deport illegals unless they are convicted of a  "serious crime." The Biden Regime is trying to  hand heavy prison terms to American citizens who walked around  the U.S. Capitol without permission, but it's OK to jump the border  illegally.

And, of course, a real reporter would have asked the president to  state on the record why he refuses to enforce basic immigration law,  which is treason, and as Miller says, impeachable. But Biden's delusions aside, his refusing to enforce the law is not "incompetence,"  It's deliberate malfeasance. That means he's unfit to lead the nation because he's guilty of treason.  When the Republicans take back Congress, they must impeach him.

The former vice president, who's currently the leading 2020 presidential candidate was running back then for the Democratic Party's nomination for president when he got combative and made the blunder amid questioning by a reporter about his academic credentials at the Syracuse University College of Law. He went to law school on a full academic scholarship. In fact, ended up in the top half of his class. Was the outstanding student in the political science department. He graduated with three degrees from undergraduate. A journalist then reports:

Biden now concedes he did not graduate in the top half of his law school class, that he does not have three degrees from college, and that he was not named outstanding political science student in college.

Another journalist reports: Newsweek says Biden actually went to school on a half scholorship, ended up in the bottom of his class, and won only one degree, not three.
