Police in Missouri are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects after a video emerged purportedly showing one of them striking a Walgrens employee outside of a store. The Independence Police Department says the assault unfolded last Wednesday in the 3900 Block of South Noland Road. "An employee of the business was assaulted when they attempted to intervene in a shoplift," the department said in a statement. Video broadcast by Fox4 KC appears to show an employee getting knocked to the ground while engaging in a struggle with a female suspect outside the front of the store.  Another teenager is seen in the video yelling in the background, according to the station. As the employee lies on the ground, the female attacker is seen continuing to throw punches at her.  The employee is described by Fox4 KC as a woman in her 60s.

A rural community about halfway between Moscow and St. Petersburg has been selected as the location of an "African village," according to the African International Congress in Russia. The project is a part of a five-year pilot program to settle thousands of migrants from South Africa. African diplomats joined AIC representatives and local officials from Tver Region last week for a ceremony unveiling the symbolic cornerstone of the village, set to be built near the hamlet of Porechye. "We plan to establish 30 settlements in Russia for Afrikaners who want to immigrate," said the head of the Eurasian International University (EIU) and general representative of the AIC in Russia, Konstantin Klimenko. "These are Boers, farmers of European origin, whose ancestors settled in Africa many years ago," Klimenko explained. "Many of them are now converting to Orthodoxy and moving to Russia, attracted by our moral and spiritual way of life, with traditional family values."  The Afrovillage is part of the pilot project currently underway in the Moscow and Tver regions, with the goal of settling about 3,000 Boer families. If successful, the AIC and its partners plan to expand it to other regions of Russia.

The Alabama woman who confessed to faking her own abduction, prompting a massive two-day search, flashed a grin in her mugshot as she was hit with charges in the headline-grabbing hoax Friday.  Carlee Russell...was charged on Friday with one count of false reporting to law enforcement and one count of falsely reporting an incident after she "disappeared" on July 13. Both counts are class A misdemeanors that carry a maximum penalty of one year behind bars and a $6,000 fine... Russell turned herself in with her attorney, Emory Anthony, at Hoover City Jail within an hour of the presser, which was held at 1:30 p.m. local time... She was booked and subsequently released after she posted $2,000 bond, he continued.

An elderly Lowe's worker was fired after getting repeatedly punched in the face trying to stop thieves. 68-year-old Donna Hansbrough decided to intervene when she saw three thieves load up a shopping cart and walk out of a Lowe's in Rincon, Georgia without paying.  Hansbrough reportedly grabbed the cart being pushed by Takyah Berry, who repeatedly punched the elderly employee in the face.  The other two thieves, Joseph Berry, and Jarmar Lawton, took off with the stolen merchandise. Hansbrough was ultimately fired after 13 years on the job for violating company policy.  Rincon Police are still looking for two of the thieves.  Hansbrough told the Effingham Herald that she is looking for another job.

Judge Lynn Adelman in the Eastern District of Wisconsin has issued a temporary restraining order forcing Mukwonago Area School District to allow a male student into girls' restrooms... the case concerns an 11-year-old boy who "identifies" as a girl, has been using girls' restrooms since third grade, and is going into sixth grade this fall. Last month, however, the school board unanimously adopted a "Student Privacy in Restrooms and Locker Rooms" policy that generally requires students to use the facilities that match their biology (with exceptions determined on a case-by-case basis). While attending summer school, the boy was told he had to use the boys' restrooms or an alternate gender-neutral bathroom. His mother sued, claiming her son is the victim of "targeting," "ongoing discrimination," and "consistent invasions of [his] privacy." Adelman has agreed to temporarily block the school district from enforcing its policy. The "plaintiff will suffer significant irreparable harm without a temporary restraining order," the judge claimed, Newsweek reports. In a not a so-surprising revelation following a Secret Service briefing on Thursday, Republican Representative Lauren Boebert announced that cocaine discovered at the White House on July 2 was not the first incident of drugs found at Biden's White House, citing two other instances within the last year.  Despite having narrowed down a list of 500 potential individuals, no suspects have been officially identified. Interestingly, the investigation has ended without administering drug tests to these individuals, a decision that has sparked further controversy and calls for transparency. According to the Secret Service statement, "There was no surveillance video footage found that provided investigative leads or any other means for investigators to identify who may have deposited the found substance in this area. Without physical evidence, the investigation will not be able to single out a person of interest from the hundreds of individuals who passed through the vestibule where the cocaine was discovered."  On Thursday, Lauren Boebert, a member of the House Oversight Committee, attended the briefing "to get answers from the Secret Service about the bag of cocaine found at the White House near the Oval Office."

Fox 5 News Atlanta reported  that Khalid Kamau, the socialist mayor of South Fulton, Georgia, was arrested Saturday morning after unlawfully entering a house and refused to accept responsibility. He was charged with criminal trespass and burglary in the first degree.  One could say he was leading by example considering his dangerous leftist policies encourage this sort of behavior.  Kamau was booked into the Fulton County Jail and was released at 8 P.M. Toronto Police have made an arrest in an attempted murder investigation following a stabbing on a TTC subway train.  Police say a victim and suspect were travelling on a TTC subway train southbound toward Eglinton subway station when the pair got into an argument. Philadelphia police initially said four people lost their lives but they later reported that a fifth victim has been found.  ABC News reports  that of the five dead victims, at least four are male and three of them are between the ages of 20 and 59 years old.  The two wounded children, ages 2 and 13, are in stable condition.   Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw described  the suspect as a 40-year-old male. He was wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying an AR-style rifle, a handgun and a police scanner.  The commissioner said she has "absolutely no idea why this happened."

A man who was convicted of murdering an 11-year-old girl and her babysitter in 1990 punched his own attorney and was wrestled to the ground in court Monday.  Joseph Zieler, 61, on Monday was sentenced to death in the slayings of 11-year-old Robin Cornell and her babysitter, Lisa Story, 32, who were raped and suffocated.  While in front of a judge, Zieler asked for the cameras in the room to be taken down before using an expletive and then elbowing attorney Kevin Shirley in the face.  Three bailiffs quickly tackled the man - who appeared to have 'killer' etched on his teeth - to the ground before escorting him out of the courtroom within seconds.  In May, a jury in Lee County, Florida recommended the death penalty and Monday's appearance was to appeal to the judge hours before he gave his sentence.

So many companies are closing locations in San Francisco that it's getting hard to keep track.  Just yesterday, we learned that Cinemark is closing their downtown theater, now we find out that AT&T is closing their flagship store in the city.   Telecommunications giant AT&T will close the company's Downtown San Francisco flagship store... "Consumer shopping habits continue to change, and we're changing with them," ... "That means serving customers where they are through the right mix of retail stores, digital channels and our phone-based care team." Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has acknowledged that "massive immigration just doesn't work" as he announced changes to the country's border control policy that would make it the strictest in the European Union.  Kristersson made the comments to mark the National Day of Sweden as he insisted that it was too easy for migrants who can't even speak Swedish to obtain citizenship.  "Let me be clear: Massive immigration and poor integration just doesn't work," wrote Kristersson. "That is why we are now changing Sweden's migration policy and making it the strictest in the EU."  The leader of the center-right Moderate Party said new measures would be introduced to ensure migrants had not committed crimes in their home countries and also tests to ensure they respect Swedish culture and heritage. "A 'no' to asylum means 'no' and you have to leave the country. That should be obvious, but it's not," said the PM. "Equally important, a 'yes' should mean that you really get involved in Swedish society."  Kristersson said citizenship was not just about obtaining a passport and should be a "social contract and that social contract contains both rights and obligations."

A migrant from Syria was arrested by police for a mass stabbing attack targeting children in a park Thursday morning in Annecy, France, a town located in the French Alps. Various reports have stated the injured number as high as eight, however the latest report states four children and two adults were wounded in the attack with two of the children and one of the adults hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. North Star Promise allows eligible students in the state, including illegal immigrants, to be eligible for 100 percent free college tuition, provided their family adjusted gross income is less than $80,000...  The bill passed both the state House and Senate, with Governor Tim Walz, a Democrat, approving the program on May 24. Police in Mesa arrested 20-year-old Iren Byers in connections to the deaths of four men and one injured woman discovered ... in five separate shootings.  Byers was arrested on four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.  Officers dispatched to Beverly Park around 10:30 p.m. on Friday and found 41-year-old Julian Cox dead at the scene...   While still at the park, police heard shots being fired nearby and searched the area.
