South African farmers, largely from the White Afrikaner minority, have been subjected to an escalating campaign of attacks characterised by extreme brutality, rape and torture, with 82 people killed in a record 423 incidents last year. And last week the South African government voted to confiscate land without compensation from White farmers, and redistribute the land to Black South Africans.

Australia's Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, Mr Peter Dutton, said he had instructed his department to look into the issue, saying: "If you look at the footage, you hear the stories and you read the accounts, it's a horrific circumstance that they face.

"I've asked my department to look at options and ways in which we can provide some assistance because I do think on the information I've seen people do need help, and they need help from a civilised country like ours.

"More importantly, the people we're talking about want to work hard, they want to contribute to a country like Australia ... I think these people deserve special attention and we're applying that special attention now.

'We want people who want to come here, abide by our laws, integrate into our society, work hard, not lead a life on welfare.

"They're the sorts of migrants that we want to bring into our country.

"I hope we can settle some of these people because I think they will work hard, I think they desire to work hard, they want to educate their kids and they want to provide for a safe and certain future," he said.

"We can provide that in a country like ours."

A FURIOUS South Africa has rejected an offer from Australia's Home Affairs Minister to help persecuted white farmers in the troubled nation and has demanded a retraction.

"The South African government is offended by the statements which have been attributed to the Australian Home Affairs Minister and a full retraction is expected," the foreign ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

Pretoria is outraged over Peter Dutton's suggestion that White farmers in South Africa need help from a "civilised country" like Australia.

South Africa's foreign ministry has said its people were not under any such danger.

"That threat does not exist," the South African foreign ministry in Pretoria said.

"There is no reason for any government in the world to suspect that a section of South Africans is under danger from their own democratically elected government."

AFriForum representatives said it was not in favour of mass emigration.

Chief executive Kallie Kriel also said the group was not going anywhere.

Well the reaction by the blacks is as stupid as you'd expect. We could make this deal better for them. We need more White women to populate the North, as there are not enough White women to go around. We take only the White women and exchange them for some of the Blacks they may able to play with better in their mess they have created.

You can bet your balls that they will do exactly that. Australia will be issuing an apology and forwarding reparations to BLACK South Africa all too soon.

Of course I'd love to be wrong. And in fact, I was wrong about the Australian government keeping its head in the sand and pretending all is right with the Rainbow Nation. In the past, the Australian government used to reject White South African requests for immigration to Australia. White South Africans had to make use of their right to British citizenship first, and then reapply from Britain before they could join the rest of their family here that had already jumped through the same hoops. So, the Australian government is now inviting White South Africans ... something has changed ... there must be money in it for Australia.
