A feral gang of thieving teenagers have turned a once thriving high street into a 'warzone', hurling racial slurs at shop owners, smashing windows and starting fires.

Retailers on Shirley High Street, Southampton, have developed depression because of the 14-year-old ringleader, who claims she is untouchable because police refuse to intervene. Shocking footage shows one particular girl encouraging the manager of a phone shop to call the police after she stole vapes, phone cases and his tools.

The gang reportedly avoids chain stores and instead targets smaller, minority-run businesses - bombarding Black and Asian shopkeepers with racist abuse, smashing up displays, looting stock and spitting at staff in full view of customers. Victims say they are regularly called 'Black c***' and 'Black stupid f***** b**ch', with some told to 'go back to your country'.

One of the worst-hit traders is Muhammad Usman, who runs Phone Hub, a mobile and electronics shop. He says the gang has stolen vape kits and accessories, hurled knives inside the store, and accused him of being a paedophile when he tried to film the damage. I don't feel safe at home or walking down the street. I complain to the police all the time but they say it's not an emergency.'

Nnenna Okonkwo opened her independent food store to provide products that the [AFRICAN] community would not have been able to find elsewhere. Instead, the mob show up at Sunnyday International Foods to harass her everyday. The gang smashed Nnenna's windows and ensure customers are too scared to enter the store.

Agather Okoye, who works at Sunnyday International Foods said nothing can excuse the groups behaviour.

A staff member at one of Australia's most prestigious universities has been suspended after allegedly attacking a group of students celebrating a Jewish holiday.

Shocking footage has emerged showing a woman verbally abusing the students on the grounds of the University of Sydney.

In the video, obtained by Sky News, the woman approaches several students and asks if they are 'Zionists,' before harassing them as they repeatedly ask her to move on.

The students, who were celebrating the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, explained that they were not making any political statements or staging a protest, and simply wanted to be left alone.

However, the woman continued her tirade, getting right up in the face of one young woman and telling her: 'A Zionist is the lowest form of rubbish.'

'Zionists are the most disgusting thing that has ever walked this earth,' she yelled.

She described herself as an 'Indigenous Palestinian' before calling the group 'baby killers' and telling one member she was a 'f***ing filthy Zionist.'

A security guard attempted to intervene, but the woman ignored him and continued her rant against the students, who did not appear to be bothering anyone.

'Look at this rubbish, look at these parasites,' the woman told them.

In the video, the staffer claimed the students 'came to her' and she did not start the argument.

The group repeatedly asked the woman to leave and walk away before she walked off and yelled: 'Go f**k yourself you disgusting Zionist. A Zionist is the lowest form of humanity.'

The Jewish academic, who was singled out by the pro-Palestinian activist, told Sky News they were on campus to celebrate the holiday of Sukkot.

'It was an Australian Union of Jewish Students activity, the Rabbi was present. We didn't have any Israeli flags or even the hostage ribbon; it was purely a Jewish event,' the academic said.

'We were there for religious reasons as Jews on campus. She directed so much anger and rage towards us.'

Sydney University released a statement confirming the staff member had been suspended 'pending further assessment'.

'Such conduct is utterly unacceptable, and we are taking immediate action under our codes of conduct,' a University of Sydney spokesperson said.

'Where our codes are breached, we will not hesitate to take disciplinary action and other steps to ensure a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all,' the spokesperson continued.

'Hate speech, antisemitism and verbal harassment have no place on campus, online or in our wider community.

'We deeply apologise to any staff, students or visitors who are distressed or impacted by this incident in any way.
