A judge has been stood down after secret recordings caught her using shockingly racist language and bragging about being 'untouchable

Oakland County Probate Judge Kathleen Ryan confessed she was a racist, branded black people 'lazy pieces of s**t', and raged against Black Lives Matter.
She is also heard using homophobic slurs against a senior official, who is gay, in the recordings.

Ryan was removed from her docket in the court in Detroit on August 27, and is being investigated by the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission.

The 13-year judge handled the administration of estates, appointed guardians for minors and disabled people, and resolved disputes in related matters.

Oakland County Probate Court Administrator Edward Hutton blew the whistle on Ryan this month after secretly recording her rant for years.

He said he sent a formal complaint to Chief Probate Judge Linda Hallmark in May, but when nothing happened he sent the recorded phone calls to the Michigan Supreme Court and Oakland County executive, and went public.

'From England, if you're a black from any other country – you're doing way better. If you're an American black person, then you're a f**king lazy piece of s**t,' she said in one recording obtained by WXYZ.

In several other recordings she railed against the Black Lives Matter movement, and used racist and other offensive language about black people in her courtroom.

'You f**king black c**t. I'm so pissed off at this Black Lives Matter, #MeToo, all this bulls**t, oh my God – f**k you b***h,' she said in one.

Another rant began: 'With this whole Black Lives Matter stuff you know they're like - everyone's all entitled and s**t.

'Let's assume they did get screwed just because of the nature of your color, and the way America is, systemic racism, all that s**t!

'But don't they have an obligation to step up to the plate too? I mean think about it, all they have to do is look at their history, like the whole like baby mommas, and the dads taking off, it's like, you guys have an obligation too.

'You want us to treat you equally - you got to f**king step up and do the same job! You know, you don't get to be a lazy a**'

Hutton in one call pointed out she was being racist, and she responded by appearing to claim she was driven to racism and didn't start out that way.

'I can honestly say that, OK, I'm not systemically racist – I'm a new racist,' she said.

'I never was. But now I am because you're shoving this s**t down my throat, making allegations that you don't know s**t about.

'You're telling me who I am, and you've never even f**king met me. F**k you!'

Ryan also called Oakland County Executive David Coulter, who is openly gay, a 'little f****t' and 'a skinny white girl'.

She also described her sexual encounters 'in intimate detail', Hutton claimed.

Ryan responded to criticism from Hutton by bragging that she was too well liked and protected by powerful friends that she was 'untouchable'.

'I'm pretty untouchable. So you guys really want to be d**ks... You got 22 judges who are pussies. Guess what - they're still going to back me,' she said.

Another time, Ryan claimed: 'I hate to say it, knock on wood. I really kind of am untouchable... They can't touch me... They can't touch my salary.

In the terrifying encounter, the injured Victorian police officer came to the defence of his colleague and took out the Jihadist with a single bullet to the head.

But instead of supporting police and the Premier, the leader of the Islamic Council of Victoria, Gaith Krayem, has come out publicly as an apologist for muslim jihadis, criticising police for defending themselves, saying there is now a family who is grieving for poor jihadi Abdul Numan Haider.

The comments were made in a social media video Mr Krayem recorded in response to ABC star Laura Tingle's claim that Australia is a 'racist country'.

'We are a racist country, let's face it,' Ms Tingle told the Sydney Writers' Festival back in May.

'We always have been and it's very depressing.'

Ms Tingle's comments sparked an outcry, with many rushing to defend her, while others called for the national broadcaster to be defunded.

Mr Krayem said the ABC star's comments had 'triggered the poor sensibilities of the white exceptionalist establishment', before launching into a full-throated defence of her claim.   

'She's absolutely 100 per cent right. This country is racist,' Mr Krayem told social media followers.

'It's whole origin as a modern state is built on racism and continues to be racist today.

'But Dutton and his ilk and their cronies would conveniently have us forget the genocide this country committed against our First Nations.'

He added: 'The treatment of our First Nations is still steeped in racism.

'But that racism now extends to others with a vigour. The response to any issue dealing with Islam, with Muslims and now Palestine... It's not even hidden racism any longer. It's overt and loud.'

Daily Mail Australia has asked Mr Krayem if he stood by his comments.

MVM is a new political group campaigning on a pro-Gaza platform to target MPs in 32 marginal electorates with large Muslim populations.

It will not field any candidates but rather seeks to encourage Muslim voters to vote tactically to oust those MPs who have not called for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Mr Krayem has previously accused Labor of taking the Muslim vote 'for granted'.

'You've always assumed our community will vote Labor, and we will show this election that that will change,' Mr Krayem said last month

'The message is the same to both sides. You need to stop assuming that the community will vote one particular way,' he said.

'That's why the Coalition doesn't engage with our community because it feels after we will always vote Labor, and Labor has taken us for granted because it's assumed we always vote Labor.' 

Almost of the 32 marginal seats identified by MVM are currently held by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's Labor party.

Education Minister Jason Clare's Blaxland seat and Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke's Watson seat are both at the top of the list.

Miriam Margolyes was born in Oxford on 18 May 1941 into a Jewish family in the UK. The maternal family surname changed from Sandeman to Walters before Margolyes' birth. Miriam made the controversial comment while being interviewed by Kirsty Wark on BBC Radio 4's Front Row - sparking outrage from listeners.

Anti-Semitism campaigners slammed the corporation after its highest complaints body refused to uphold an objection to the Aug 13 broadcast.

When questioned about a memorable Charles Dickens character from her childhood, the 83-year-old Harry Potter actress said: 'Oh, Fagin without question. Jewish and vile.' She then said: 'I didn't know Jews like that then. Sadly, I do now.

The full interview was available on the BBC's playback service, but the remark was edited out following a string of complaints, with the corporation accepting that the comments 'should have been challenged at the time'.

A formal application was then made to the BBC's Executive Complaints Unit (ECU), alleging that the comments amounted to anti-Jewish racism and the perpetuation of harmful stereotypes.

But, although the broadcaster chose to remove the quotes, the ECU rejected the complaint, according to The Telegraph.

In a letter explaining the BBC's decision, Fraser Steel, the head of the ECU, said he would be concerned about stereotyping if he believed the meaning behind Miriam's comment was that she 'now knew Jews who resembled Fagin'.

But he said the most 'natural understanding' of the remark is that it refers to 'vile', rather than to Fagin and the attributes which make his character stereotypical.

Mr Steel added that while Miriam's comments 'might be considered insensitive' in the light of what Anti-Semitism campaigners described as 'the wider atmosphere of hatred and insecurity felt by many Jews' he does not think they constituted racism.

He concluded: 'I don't think it can be considered racist for one member of a group to express a view of some unspecified members of that group which is generally disparaging but without reference to any real or supposed attributes of that group.'

Jonathan Sacerdoti, a broadcaster and campaigner against anti-Jewish racism who submitted the complaint, this weekend accused the BBC of 'selective accountability'.

He said Kirsty Wark 'stood by in silence' allowing Miriam's 'deeply offensive remarks' to slip under the radar.

Mr Sacerdoti added that he believes the BBC's decision to remove the segment from iPlayer was an acknowledgement of the mistake and it is for 'reasons entirely inconsistent' they refuse to uphold the complaint.

Mr Steel's response means Mr Sacerdoti cannot take his complaint any further within the BBC and his only option now would be to try to involve the regulator Ofcom.

He argues that Margolyes is a person known to make offensive comments about Jews and the BBC should have been prepared to challenge her.

A spokesman for Campaign Against Antisemitism said: 'It's a sad reflection of this era when both the host and audience of a BBC programme simply laugh along with a guest's comments about 'vile' Jews.

'Yes, the guest happens to be Jewish, but that does not give her free reign to spew her repugnant sentiments in the guise of 'comedy'.

They added that it is 'right' the BBC removed the clip but said the unwillingness to admit the mistake is a 'sad indication of where the Corporation is at right now'.

A BBC Spokesperson told the Jewish Chronicle in August: 'This was an unexpected comment made during a live broadcast which should have been challenged at the time.

We have taken swift action to remove it from the programme and it is no longer available.'

Miriam - who is renowned for being outspoken -  has been a long-standing critic of Israeli government policy, calling in August for Jews to 'shout, beg, scream for a ceasefire in Gaza'.

A Melbourne father has been left horrified after discovering his local park was vandalised to depict an anti-Semitic message in the grass

The Jewish father, who has asked not to be named, was taking his one-year-old daughter to Mill Park in Melbourne's northwest when he discovered the distressing message.

It's understood someone either burnt or mowed the message 'Zionism = Nazi' into the grass at the popular children's park.
'To be honest, I am still traumatised by the massacre that took place in Israel,' the Israeli- born father said.

'I was thinking about how children my daughter's age were slaughtered a year ago but trying to enjoy quality time with my daughter ... when all of a sudden I see her running around on this hate speech.'

Anti-Defamation Commission chairman Dvir Abramovich said the anti-Semitic graffiti was 'not normal'.

'The monster of anti-Semitism has once again reared its head and delivered a punch to gut of every Jewish Australian,' Dr Abramovich said.

'What should have been a joyful family outing turned into a nightmare.

'Taking his one-year-old daughter for a peaceful kick a ball for the first time, that precious milestone was shattered.

'In one stroke, the venom of anti-Semitism had defiled a space meant for children and families and this stomach-churning act of evil is a disturbing reminder that even a simple day at the park can be poisoned by bigotry.

'To scrawl such venom in a children's playground is a new low in cowardice and cruelty.'

Dr Abramovich said it was important public spaces were protected from hateful acts.
