Look at the guy third from left with the Swazi armband.
The interesting thing was in the 1970's this was a outrage because it had swearing on TV !..,not the swastika!

Nowadays it'd be the other way around !

Sid Vicious has a Swazie T-shirt. What would they do now ? Replace it with an "X"?

In the picture I showed, Steve Jones was wearing a swastika T. Johnny Rotten/Lydon also often wore a swastika T; particularly in the video for the song Pretty Vacant. Then there are the South American videos where they are hanging out with Ronnie Biggs and someone pretending to be Martin Bormann in uniform.

Off-topic Sid used to torture and kill small animals. He actually was vicious. Some would say that Karma got vengeance on Vicious and his Hebe girlfriend. I just say good riddance to both after getting what they deserved.

The good thing about the audio recordings is that Sid wasn't the one that played on them. It was Glenn Matlock that played - and Matlock really could play. Sid was just a show pony that could not play and was brought in for a short while when Matlock and Lydon argued - hence the few videos. The band considered that drug f'd vicious sadist to be more of a pest than anything.

So, if they are going to be honest in a movie about the Pistols, then there should be swastika T's, swearing, spitting, two and a half years  worth of Glenn Matlock and barely six months of Sid - perhaps the last fifteen minutes of fame in the new movie. Other than that, everything about Sid was covered in the 80's movie, Sid and Nancy and in The Great Rock n Roll Swindle. Why bother retelling the same.

On the other hand, if they change the swastikas for X's, wouldn't that make the letter X the new swastika? You can bet your balls that anyone caught wearing X shirts after that would be denounced as HATE CRIMS wearing HATE SYMBOLS.
