Although gloating stories of so-called atrocities by US soldiers (they continually remind us that Australians never do that) are all over the news here in Australia, the following story hasn't made the news at all.

There were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq after all.

The massive cache of almost 400,000 Iraq war documents released by the WikiLeaks Web site revealed that small amounts of chemical weapons were found in Iraq and continued to surface for years after the 2003 US invasion, Wired magazine reported.

The documents showed that US troops continued to find chemical weapons and labs for years after the invasion, including remnants of Saddam Hussein's chemical weapons arsenal -- most of which had been destroyed following the Gulf War.

In August 2004, American troops were able to buy containers from locals of what they thought was liquid sulfur mustard, a blister agent, the documents revealed. The chemicals were triple-sealed and taken to a secure site.

Also in 2004, troops discovered a chemical lab in a house in Fallujah during a battle with insurgents. A chemical cache was also found in the city.

I wish we could get over blaming Bush for something that happened so long ago. I was a captain in the army in the invasion during Desert Storm. Our M8 chemical alarms sounded several (I don't remember exactly how many) times. The army chemical detection unit positively identified vx nerve agent. The air bombing had hit a place (somewhere) where the agent was either stockpiled or in a bomb, resulting in the release of the agent. At the time the prevailing winds were north to south so the chemical agent was caried south to us. It was in such small quantities that it did not kill anyone but could be detected by the alarms. I also saw 4 chemical warheads for mortors at Jalibah airbase. The point is now there are many veterans that are sick because of who knows what. My guess is that something that we were exposed to has had an effect on everyone. I guess this will be our generations agent orange. Anyway, the chemical weapons were there, I saw them along with hundreds of other soldiers.

The former Captain Allen is correct. Reverend Billy was there and that's why he is dead today from a combination of MS, a brain tumour and lead poisoning. (You can read more about Reverend Billy in Issue 104 of Racial Loyalty.)

As for the rest of the story, whether limited use of chemical weapons made the second invasion of Iraq valid or not, is debatable. However, if daddy Bush had allowed his soldiers to finish the job, we probably wouldn't be at war now.

Ben Klassens opinion at the time was that it would be good if Israel was nuked or chemical attacked. I have full historical respect for Saddam Hussein as an enemy of the Israel, hanged by their US mercenaries and lackeys.
