There is this Australian Psychodellic act "King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard ". They have a bunch of albums and each are really diverse!
I'd also recommend post punk Australian bands like "Pinch points" and "The cable ties" . My favourite non racial bands of today.

Yeah; somebody recommended me the new King Gizzad and the Lizard Wizard album recently, the one with the big dragon / lizard thing on the cover, I forget the name, and it was like some thrashy sounding stoner metal stuff. It wasn't bad, different from what I usually am listening too though. I heard there discography is pretty diverse and they span a lot of other genres; to be quite frank I have no idea where to start digging into the discography of that band.

I don't have any King Gizzad, but I have heard a few songs. Every album they tried doing different stuff.

This radio station thread is very diverse and you can listen to it anywhere.
They play a lot of the latest Aus rock bands and alternative music. Every form of music you can think of really. Check their site for program times.
