Harold Covington The White internet needs to start de-legitimizing and lowering the value and credibility level of ANONYMITY. We all need to adopt a personal policy of taking anything posted under a pseudonym, or where the poster is unwilling to provide any independently verifiable information about himself or his track record, with a grain of salt.

There are too many people swaggering across the internet claiming to be big authorities on White Nationalism and Movement events, bad-ass theoreticians, deep thinkers and intellectuals, mighty Skinhead Aryan warriors and God know what-all, who are in reality some weird, geeky little guy with spectacles or somebody like the Comic Book Guy in the The Simpsons

Or else they're Cognitive Dissonance operatives hired by Cass Sunstein or the ADL deliberately top spread confusion, dissension, and madness in White groups like this one. Trolls of all kinds thrive on anonymity, and we have to bring this to a halt if there is to be any hope of progress.

Wayne Pyrzewski Certainly, I think we all know it is good to use real names obviously, such as what I do. But I can understand at times people using aliases because there are groups of antis that search for the person's name and then report their account, thus getting them deleted.

Hadding Scott Harold, what does swearing off anonymity mean when nobody can find your physical location? For over a decade Will Williams has been trying to find you to serve some papers. (Which is why I maintain that your stories about receiving significant numbers of visitors are BS.) Get real. You have been in hiding for ten years so that nobody can find you, and you are going to preach to others about anonymity?

Hadding ScottCovington had been smearing Will Williams exactly the same way he smears Ben Klassen and Matt Koehl, but Will Williams sued him for libel and won. Instead of paying up or even shutting up, however, Covington kept at it, with the result that... he was found in contempt of court. Covington had to leave North Carolina to escape prosecution. (By the way, it was only after this that Covington embraced the "Northwest Imperative." Before that NC was the location of Covington's fantasy republic.) Covington was ordered to Will Williams over $100k, which with interest is over $200k. Williams wants to serve Covington some papers relating to that.

Hadding Scott Well, Covington has two basic routines these days: 1, preaching about "character," and 2, complaining that nobody has a "plan" and claiming that relocating to the Northwest constitutes a plan. The idea is to secede someday.

Mike Jahn I spoke to someone about any potential war and we came to the conclusion that any sort of civil war would require a lot of outside support as well as public support. A small "republic" somewhere out in the woods would be a 1 day war for the US army.

Hadding Scott Jahn, yes. The American War for Independence would not have succeeded without French help. The Confederacy hoped for that kind of help and didn't get it.

Hadding Scott Rob, we are back to the point that you don't care if somebody lies all the time. Will Williams' libel suit wasn't about hurt feelings. You can hurt somebody's feelings with a truthful criticism, but that is not what Covington was doing. It ...was about gigantic lies that Covington had been telling for years, sowing dissension in organizations whose purpose I assume you approve. The issue was really much bigger than Williams vs. Covington. There were at least half a dozen other people that were pleased that somebody finally took Covington to task, including Tom Metzger, of whom, if I recall correctly, you are a fan. Metzger has challenged Covington to a duel over the continuing libel that he has had to endure, just last year. I think a libel suit is preferable to a duel as a method of settling such matters, if you can manage it. Covington's ostensible disdain for the legal system only extends to applications of it that work against him: if this government that Covington calls illegitimate weren't maintaining law and order and protecting Covington's fat arse, he would have been killed by one of his victims decades ago.

Victoria Collins I support the US constitution fully, I am not publicly joining anything that advocates the overthrow of anything, unless someone would like to explain that to me further, I am open to learn more about it. Other than that I agree with 80% of what they say on NF.

EdbergEdberg was the pseudonym of my old friend Gordon Ipock, who met Ben Klassen when he visited me at the COTC headquarters back in 1988. I was Best Man in Gordon's wedding, and he was the man who took me to WV to meet Dr. William Pierce in 1991. That's quite a revealing thread from VNN from more than 6 years ago. I liked this part by EdbergEdberg because he was looking through the same historical lens that I view things:

I wonder if anybody reading this has any knowledge of voice-altering technology or audio forensics. Some of the audio files that Covington plays, allegedly sent in by listeners, sound very strange to me. I accept that some of them are authentic (for example I think Gretchen the librarian is real, and there was one sent in by a guy who used to call Jim Giles), but others sound as if they were written by Covington, and the tonal inflection also sounds like his. In other words it sounds like Covington talking through something that produces an altered voice. Listen to the audio file that Covington played about four-fifths of the way through his podcast of 3 February and see if it doesn't sound a little strange to you. Why would Covington have faked this? Well, just recently I've been pointing out that he's unlikely to have many visitors because he is in hiding from being served papers by Will Williams. So immediately Covington comes up with what purports to be a recording of somebody who visited him.

No matter the oddball or how Weird Harold gets, he can gain an audience. Any freak can gain an audience if he or she just has something to put out there that the punters are looking for.  Be it books or anything marketable.

Addendum

Within 12 hours after I posted my review of his podcast of 10 February 2011 Covington posted an erratum basically summarizing what I wrote above. This could be the first step on the road to sanity!

Let's hope that Covington will also admit now that there really were no Barry Edwards or Dennis Witherspoon murders with which he has been accusing Ben Klassen since the 1990s...

Let us Creators never forget who our enemies are. Harold Covington has done more to destroy Creativity over the past 22 years than any other man, including "hate group" watchdog Morris Seligman Dees and his Southern Poverty Law Center who obtained the one mllion-dollar default judgment against the COTC. Covington is on no road to sanity. He'll never admit that anything he has fabricated and repeated thousands of time about Founder Klassen, or Creativity, or all the other legitimate WN leaders he has smeared over the years, have been calculated, mendacious libels. He can't. Did he tip his hat to you in his corrected version of Hjalmar Schact's history, Hadding? Of course not, even though many people know that it was you who cried foul at his so-called history lesson. Instead, he simply tells his suckers this on his Facebook profile:
