Accused gypsies held over cash run

TWO men accused of defrauding an 80-year-old man of tens of thousands of dollars over a four-month period will face court today following a nation-wide investigation.

Police allege the modern-day gypsies, aged 18 and 25, were part of a three-man operation that allegedly began targeting the octogenarian in April.

A third, older man involved in the alleged scam is still wanted.

The men allegedly convinced the elderly man from Berala, in Sydney's west, to pay them for repairs to his roof before they did the work. Police will allege they drove him to a nearby bank branch to collect the cash.

Police will allege the men continued to do this over four months.

In August a suspicious bank teller refused the transaction and the police were brought in.

The two men were arrested in Perth this week and extradited to NSW.

They have each been charged with four counts of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception and will face Burwood Local Court today.

Flemington Local Area Detective Inspector Peter Arnold paid tribute to the bank teller for calling in police.

In August The Daily Telegraph reported the NSW government was targeting modern day gypsy gangs, suspected of carrying out multi-million dollar scams on the elderly.

Police alleged about 30 families with 1000 members were operating across NSW and offering dodgy concreting, roofing and pest control services.

Police continue to search for the third member alleged to be part of the alleged scam. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 50 years old, 180cm tall, of medium build, with short grey hair.

These clowns are like the Boongs of Europe! I have seen them in Slovakia rummage through bins, they are dirty and   
Unhygienic ! One tried sticking their hands inside my Girlfriend's mum's bag on the tram to steal the purse. They had to hold me back from belting them.

They breed with family members and generate  more spastics to get extra welfare. They breed in big numbers.

At one point they'd go to Western European nations and claim Slovakia discriminated against them and applied for Asylum. Now they have EU passports and can travel around the entire jurisdiction pestering allied states.

In the past it's been harder for Eastern Europeans to get to Australia but now some are part of Shengen area, they can get in without many checks.

I have encountered 2 types gypsies here in AU both in NSW.

One encounter in 2015 was an Irish tradie who turned up at my front door demanding he be allowed to paint my roof but first to escort me to the bank for some $$ upfront, he was given a swift fist in the face for being intimidating on my door step followed by a call to the local police who went looking for him after absconding from my front yard very hastily.

Another encounter was in 2009 at a NAB ATM where a young girl aged 9 tried to snatch my money as it was coming out of the ATM. She tried to snatch and run, but was chased metres only to seek refuge behind an old gyspy man aged about 60 who spoke no English (neither of them did). He gestured I go away, but 2 other PPL they tried to rip off minutes earlier helped cornered the pair and the cops were called. These 2 gypsies, grandfather and grand daughter working as a pair trying to snatch money were detained and the cops said they would both face deportation within a couple of days as they were on tourist visas.

White Aussies need to be vigilant around gypsy pigs, niggers, abo's & lebanese mutts. All who will try to steal from the civilised White Man.

The Irish Gypsies pull stunts like say "We tarmacked  the road and we have left over asphalt, we can bitumen your driveway but you have to accept our offer now!" They get the $ upfront do a crap job and run!

They rent a hall for the weekend, sell dodgy things cheap, the things break quickly and then they run off. Stuff like mini motorbikes, and generators.
