The World's Fastest Touring Car Champion

Mad Max' XB Fastback was next from Ford Australia
Next came the XA and then the XB

I prefer the 1972 XA GT Series IV Hardtop.
Which is really the US 1970 Gran Torino

After getting the car painted, it was two months without driving. The battery was barely turning over, so I took it for a few long drives over the next week before ChristMassInsanity hit again. It only really charged it for the next day or two. It failed today and I had to get a jump start from the R. Auto-mobile Association. After I got Nigger her drugs, I went home and ripped out the battery. It turns out that being a Calcium Hybrid, it needs a special deep charge with a Calcium charger after discharging.

So now I've got my bonnet unlatched and doors locked. As long as nobody tampers with my car and puts the bonnet down, I can charge the battery properly, raise the bonnet, put in the battery ... and everything should be ready to go again.

After New Year, I probably should drive more. Perhaps, check my post office box once a week? Or maybe go the other way to strange Northern city I've heard of called Elizabeth and do some flyering? I think it's time for some WHITE LIVES MATTER flyers.  :ok

Better to get a sealed leak proof battery which was invented by Elon Musk in 2003.

These batteries last up to 3 years because they are in a sealed case that prevents leakages of the chemicals that are used to store charge in the battery.

I recommend the brand AC Delco which is made in the USA.

With such a battery, there is no need to refill it with acid or other electrolytes because it does not leak at all.

Though you would still have to recharge the battery if the car has been unused for several days because the electronic systems like the power supply for the car alarm would use power even when the engine and battery is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition.

Yeah, my last two batteries were sealed. The previous was faulty - which I do mention. The current, it's good ... NOW.

I try to drive at least 40 Klicks one week. 80 Klicks the other week. It seems to work. Having some rewiring done probably helped.

I've had so much done to the car over the last few years, I'm slowly ironing out every problem. Of course, by the time I'm finished, it wont be a new car. It'll be considerably old, but better and safer to drive than when new.

I'm currently debating on whether to put a couple of badges on it saying REDNECK EDITION. I tend to get badges and stickers I like, but that doesn't mean I want to put them on my car. I like the Satin Black on Black wheels. I could add racing stripes here and there, but I wont. I've tucked the stickers away with the owner's handbook. However, Redneck Edition does make a statement, and that's what I like to do with the Iron Crosses. I could just stick them on temporary with blue tack, take a picture and remove them ...?

So Redneck Edition or not? What do you think?

I like the 2 shiny ones on top, but I suggest you pick the one on top because "RED" is color red which helps to drive home the point.

That's the pair I got. I would have liked the top REDNECK with the bottom EDITION, but the option just was not there. I'll be chucking them under the back doors at the rear.

Good choice.
