Malcolm Mide-Madariola, 17, died after the 15in jackal 'zombie knife' was plunged into his heart when he intervened in a scuffle after school outside his sixth-form college in Clapham, South London.

His 17-year-old killer was handed the weapon by Treynae Campbell, 19, who had built a terrifying armoury of blades bought from the website Knife Warehouse. Both teenagers were also at the college.

This weekend, a 'zombie knife' identical to that used to kill talented student Malcolm was being advertised on the website for £19.99.

Chillingly, an investigation by The Mail on Sunday has established that at least one other murder has been carried out using a knife bought from the website. And Joe Wheeler, the owner of Knife Warehouse, was given a police caution in 2015 for marketing his knives as 'suitable for combat' – yet is still allowed to trade.

In a harrowing interview, Malcolm's parents last night called on police to investigate Wheeler, a 36- year-old father-of-two, and for the authorities to shut down his firm. 'If this site did not exist, then my son may still be alive today,' said his father Olumide Wole-Madariola. 'When I found out that Treynae had bought 15 knives from one shop, I was stunned

Fighting back tears, Olukemi, 44, a special needs teacher, recalls hearing that her son had been attacked. 'I got a call from his school principal who told me Malcolm had been wounded,' she said. 'My heart was beating so fast and I was shaking so much that I dropped the phone.

'I just started walking and before I realised where I was, I found myself at our church. I started praying with the pastor for Malcolm and the police came to collect me and brought me to the hospital.

'Malcolm had never even been sick before. Three doctors came up to me and straight away I didn't like the look on their faces. One told me to sit down and they said Malcolm had died.

'It felt like I had come out of my body – I wanted to faint. My other children arrived and asked, "Where is Malcolm?" I told them he had died and they started crying. They wanted to see him, but I couldn't go. They told me I should, so I went in and he looked like he was sleeping. I sang him a song and cried.'

Olumide, 52, was overseas in Washington, researching for his second degree. Olukemi rang and said he needed to return to Britain, but refused to tell him why.

When he arrived back at the family home in Dulwich, South London, he found his children sobbing and a police officer who broke the news that his church-going, football-loving boy was dead.

'It was the first time I'd ever seen my family in pain. We were normally a very happy and contented family,' he said. 'I felt like a failure. I am a security expert and I had failed at keeping my family safe. I'm obsessed with safety, it's my job. We had a curfew for our children. At 7pm they would have to be home.

'We thought it would be safer for our children moving from Nigeria to England, but London is not as safe as when my father first moved here in the 1960s. It is not even as safe as when Malcolm was born here in 2001



Even blacks know the UK is not safe for kids to grow up anymore .

The Metropolitan Police raided a suspected cannabis cafe in London which was selling illegal drugs over the counter, including chocolate brownies containing hashish and an energy drink laced with the herb

Officers raided the cafe in Limehouse, East London, known as 'The Den'.

Cannabis worth £20,000 was seized as well as cash and drug dealing paraphernalia

Much of the cannabis had been prepared for sale in individual pre-weighed deals.

The Violent Crime Taskforce, neighbourhood policing teams, police helicopters and the Dog Support Unit were all involved in the raid.

A total of 52 people were inside the building at the time of the raid. Several were searched and given cannabis warnings. One man was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs.

According to Scotland Yard: 'Yesterday's activities are part of Operation Continuum, a local ongoing operation tackling organised drug dealing and associated crime, and which identified individuals believed to be selling drugs in the café

'Operation Continuum began 18 months ago and has already seen a number of large enforcement operations, over 350 arrests, and over £350k cash seized.'

Detective Superintendent Mike Hamer of the Central East Area said: 'Yesterday's activity was in response to local community concerns. We want to ensure that the public feel they are being listened to, and as a result, appropriate action is taken by the police and our partners. We will now be working with our partners to secure a closure order to ensure this property will not reopen.

'Our activity will not stop here. People involved in this type of criminality should know that we will continue to deal robustly with drug dealing

'Whilst the causes of violent crime are highly complex and wide-ranging, drug dealing is inextricably linked with a high proportion of the violence we have seen on our streets. We regularly see young people and the more vulnerable within our communities, targeted and exploited by those who seek to sell drugs, who often instigate violent acts and place young people at risk of harm and criminalisation in the process.

'Anyone who involves themselves in the illegal drugs market – be that selling, transporting or using, regardless of how frequently or infrequently and in what context, has a responsibility and is fuelling the violence and exploitation that invariably goes with it, in London and across the UK

'There is no hiding place for those who peddle drugs. We will continue to target those involved in all aspects of the drug trade, many of whom are failing to recognise or care about the damage their activities are inflicting on society and our most vulnerable communities.'

Tower Hamlets mayor John Biggs said: 'Our partnership work with the police is successfully interrupting the drug trade in our borough, and the anti-social behaviour that arises from it.

'We are addressing concerns of our residents through these raids, and are investing in high quality drug treatment services and education in the borough

'Communities have a vital role to play in tackling violent crime and community intelligence can be use to great effect to not only detect, but prevent crime

Rap group OneFour have cancelled their national tour after claims police pressured venues out of hosting their shows.

The Sydney musicians announced the cancellation across their social media channels on Thursday implying their shows had been banned in Australia.

'Our entire national tour has now been cancelled. Our fans have never caused any issue at our concerts. So why can't you see us perform?' OneFour wrote.

'Making and performing music is not a crime. And when they tell you you've got to make a better future for yourself why do they want to trap you in your past?

The group had booked events in Perth, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne. 

Their sold-out show in Auckland next week will still proceed.

The news comes days after the 'devastated' group told fans their Melbourne and Adelaide shows were cancelled on the days they were expected to perform

'We're devastated that due to issues beyond our control the Adelaide show has now been cancelled. There will be full ticket refunds,' the band said.

'There's a bigger issue for us is this continues a pattern of concert cancellations which deny us a platform to perform and single out our fan base.

'To be clear there has been no incident at any of our live concerts and why the band would want or allow that to change for our fans does not make any sense

'Right now our management are trying to sit down with NSW Police to sort this out.

OneFour have previously claimed NSW Police were responsible for shutting down their shows, including three in Sydney that were cancelled earlier this year.

The band's agent told Daily Mail Australia that OneFour is the first Australian band effectively banned from performing in their own country.

'There have been no arrests or violence at any previous OneFour concerts. Despite this pressure has been put on venues by police not to proceed with a near sell-out national tour,' he said in a statement.

'Following media coverage earlier this week regarding OneFour concerts being cancelled in Melbourne and Adelaide, the NSW Police have also now responded.

'That response was to visit the homes of two band members to ban them from attending last night's ARIA Music awards venue and their local shopping centre, via exclusion orders


'The message from NSW Police to OneFour for speaking out on the right to perform their music is unmistakable.

'The broader message they're sending, in particular to Western Sydney youth, is less upholding the law and more about enforcing moral judgements.

'Making and performing music is not a crime.'

The NSW Police Force has denied the allegations stating the decision to cancel a show lies with the venue.

'The NSW Police Force rejects any assertion of a 'censorship strategy' or that officers have been placing improper pressure on venues or promoters to cancel shows,' a police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.

'While police provide safety and security advice to venues, promoters, and other stakeholders ahead of major events, the decision as to whether or not an event will proceed lies with the relevant venue

While NSW Police Force regularly consult with other jurisdictions about law enforcement issues, we have not been involved in discussions with venues outside of NSW.'

OneFour's legal representatives have been in contact with NSW police.   

One Four's agent said NSW Police continue to refuse to speak or meet with the band's management or their legal representatives. 

The group shares its name with a Mount Druitt youth gang but they say they are not members themselves, and say the name comes from the year they were established.

The artists perform drill rap, a hardcore version of hip hop that moved from Chicago to the UK, that has come under fire from UK police for inciting violence.
