Three men who allegedly performed Nazi salutes outside the Sydney Jewish Museum have been charged by police.

It's understood the trio - aged 30, 31, and 40 - allegedly intoxicated, were doing Nazi salutes outside the museum Darlinghurst shortly after midday on Friday.

Unsettling images of a young man performing a Nazi salute and yelling 'Heil Hitler' have emerged amid footage of a large Nazi protest in Melbourne on Saturday

Daily Mail Australia on Saturday revealed video footage of a group of masked men and woman throwing banned Nazi salutes and carrying a banner reading 'Expose Jewish Power' at Flinders Street train station.

The group, identifying themselves as from the National Socialist Network, stormed through the station before boarding a suburban train where they terrified passengers on board by taunting them and singing white supremacist songs.

But the protestors, dressed all in black including face masks, weren't the only ones engaging in offensive behaviour in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A closer look at the video footage reveals a young man throwing his hands up in the air and yelling 'Heil Hitler!' while the protestors march inside the station towards their preferred platform.

The man is dressed in grey tracksuit pants, a black hoodie and a Gucci cap worth more than $600 if the genuine article.

The man then tags along with the demonstrators as they travel down an escalator to one of the station's platforms, joining them in performing a Nazi salute.

Once on the platform, the man again calls out 'Heil Hitler' while raising both his arms. 

While two police watched on, the young man also shouted 'f*** the Jews'.

Daily Mail Australia did not witness the man get onto the train with the group.

Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chair of the Anti-Defamation Commission, who has led a national campaign to ban the Nazi swastika and criminalise the Nazi salute, told Daily Mail Australia: 'Victoria is now officially the neo-Nazi capital of our nation and today was a sad and dark day for our democracy.

'This beyond despicable display of Hitler worshipping and depravity belongs in Nazi Germany of the 1930s and Victoria Police and Premier Allan have to explain how this terrifying intimidation was allowed.

'I urge the Victorian state government to quickly implement the ban on the Nazi salute that they develop a plan of action to combat this violent extremist ideology and ask the Federal government to designate all such groups as terrorist organisations.'

The disturbing incident comes just hours after three men were arrested for making Hitler salutes outside the Sydney Jewish Museum.

It's understood the trio - aged 30, 31, and 40 - allegedly intoxicated, were doing Nazi salutes outside the museum in Darlinghurst shortly after midday on Friday.

The three have each been charged with behave in offensive manner in/near public place/school, and knowingly display by public act Nazi symbol without excuse.
