Excerpt: The child-woman image of Brigitte Bardot, capering on a beach, set the world on fire in the post-war period. Today, though, in the light of the MeToo movement, how does the legacy of the legendary sex kitten stack up?

Bardot herself became disenchanted with the bosom business and her sex-goddess blondeness. Half a century ago, she turned her back on her cinema career to become an animal activist, donating her fortune to save victims of cruelty.

But Bardot, known in France by her initials BB (pronounced bébé, or baby) has never been forgotten. At the Cannes Film Festival in 1953, the Press concurred: 'She eclipsed everyone.'

There were riots everywhere she went – when visiting Picasso, in 1956, or in Venice, in 1958, when 300 cameramen sank in their boat. A plane traced her initials in the sky. Bardot's allure was to be baby-faced, fresh – and erotically provocative.

She emerged on the international stage in the Fifties, at the same time as Nabokov's Lolita, the bestselling novel about a nymphet.

In 1957, priests in New York told people not to view Bardot's films. The Vatican, which six years later accused Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton of 'erotic vagrancy', condemned Bardot as 'evil'.

Bardot surrounded herself with 220 cats, 30 dogs, 250 goats, and innumerable rabbits and donkeys. She gave over her home in north-central France to be an animal sanctuary – named the Brigitte Bardot Foundation. She campaigned against seal culling in Canada, dolphin culling in the Faroes, and the fate of polar bears in Alaska.

Pronouncing from her 14-bedroom villa near Cannes, Bardot was, and remains, appalled by the ritual slaughter of sheep – Islamic halal – for which she has been accused of racism:

'My country, France, my homeland, is again invaded by an overpopulation of foreigners, especially Muslims.'

Bardot's comments and insults have often landed her in court, especially as she insists she's 'fed up with being under the thumb of this population, which is destroying us, destroying our country and imposing its habits'.

Bardot's fourth husband was a former adviser to France's far-Right politician Jean-Marie Le Pen. I suppose you could laugh off her outspokenness – like a batty old granny. Bardot isn't incredibly fond of gays ('fairground freaks').

She turned her affection to animals and in 1986, established the Foundation Brigitte Bardot to take care of 'suffering animals'.

'I gave my youth and my beauty to men, I am now giving my wisdom and my experience, the best of myself, to animals!' Bardot wrote in 1987.

In 1992 she married Bernard d'Ormale, a former adviser to Jean-Marie Le Pen who is the former leader of the far-right Front national, currently led by Marine Le Pen. Bardot endorsed Le Pen in the 2012 and 201y French Presidential elections and has previously described her as the 'Joan of Arc of the 21st Century'.

In the 1990s she received two fines for comments she had made about 'animal-slaughtering Muslims'. 

In 2004, Bardot wept in a courtroom as she was convicted of inciting racial hatred in a book she had written, titled A Cry in the Silence, which said she 'opposed the Islamisation of France'.

The court said: 'Madame Bardot presents Muslims as barbaric and cruel invaders, responsible for terrorist acts and eager to dominate the French to the extent of wanting to exterminate them.'

She claimed: 'I never knowingly wanted to hurt anybody. It is not in my character. If I did hurt someone, I'm sorry.' Bardot was fined €5,000.

Despite her apparent regret, Bardot has gone on to reoffend several times and has received a total of six fines for the offence.

Her most recent fine came in 2021, over an open letter published in 2019 in which she called residents of Reúnion Island, a French colony in the Pacific Islands, 'degenerate savages'. She was ordered by a French court to pay €20,000.

Brigitte Bardot convicted over provoking Muslims

A PARIS court has convicted one-time film star Brigitte Bardot of provoking discrimination and racial hatred for writing that Muslims are destroying France.
The court also handed down a $23,325 fine against the former screen siren turned animal rights campaigner.

A leading French anti-racism group known as MRAP filed a lawsuit last year over a letter Bardot, 73, sent to then-Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy. The remarks were published in her foundation's quarterly journal.

In the December 2006 letter to Sarkozy, now the president, Bardot said France is "tired of being led by the nose by this population that is destroying us, destroying our country by imposing its acts."

She was referring to the Muslim feast of Aid el-Kebir, celebrated by slaughtering sheep.

Bardot's lawyer, Francois-Xavier Kelidjian, said he would talk to her about the possibility of an appeal.

"She is tired of this type of proceedings," he said. "She has the impression that people want to silence her. She will not be silenced in her defense of animal rights."

The court also ordered Bardot to pay $1,555 in damages to MRAP, as well as one symbolic euro to two other anti-racism groups.

French anti-racism laws prevent inciting hatred and discrimination on racial or religious or racial grounds. Bardot had been convicted four times previously for inciting racial hatred.

"... racial or religious or racial ...." Most likely a typo, but if it's not ....

The laws that Miss Bardot were convicted of are the same laws we in South Australia are expecting the government of the International Elite to enact here. The new laws that are proposed go much further than their already deplorable Racial Vilification laws. Under the new law soon to come into effect (if the state government has its way), anyone who feels they have been maligned for racial and/or religious reasons (not to forget gender/sexual, choice of gender, or choice of sexual conduct). This means that like Miss Bardot, anyone campaigning to end the primitive but "kosher" techniques consisting of barbaric ritual slaughter of animals as espoused by both Jews and Muslims will be guilty of both racial and religious descrimination.

Remember that at the moment these are only proposed laws, but there are already so many inconsistencies in society without being written into law that favour Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Abos, ad nauseum, that your average White person can't get a fair go in this world. Even those who have already been granted laws to protect their rights are overlooked in favour of multiculturalism.
In SA there are already laws to protect the disabled from discrimination, but those laws are ignored when a Muslim is involved. Take for example the uncountable times that blind people with their seeing-eye-dogs have been refused service in Muslim owned premises – including taxis, because Muslims believe dogs to be "unclean." Or maybe you're a wheelchair bound veteran trying to hail a taxi and the only one that shows up is driven by a Hindu. It has been reported to me by more than a few of the wheelchair crowd that Hindu taxi drivers are deliberately insulting towards anyone that is disabled. According to them you deserve your disability because of some horrendous thing you have perpetrated in a previous life or incarnation. Of course, neither the Muslims or the Hindus are taken to task for the outragous behaviour resulting from primitive superstitions, because it's part of their "culture."

To me it appears that when it comes to the sensitivities of non-Whites, their emotional stability takes precedence over law and common sense.

Getting back to Miss Bardot, I say here and now that I totally agree that Muslims ARE destroying France. Muslims ARE destroying Australia. MUSLIMS ARE DESTROYING WHITE CIVILISATION!
