Well, it isn't true of all Southern and Eastern European peoples in Australia. When my Italian Grandparents came here, they had bugger all and worked very hard to raise 7 kids , school them and build a home.Men like that don't exist nowadays.These people never put their hands out.. nor where they allowed to. Lots of Europeans set up market gardens, helped establish the Snowy Mountains hydro electric plant.
Those white refugees from places like Lithuania and Poland settled well here. The thing is now it is easy for anybody to get on welfare here, (not that living on $540AUD a fourtnight will get you far). not all Europeans align themselves with muds.Usually the ones in modern biker groups.
Infact the Poles/ Bulgarians/ Romanians etc that probably cause the most trouble in the UK are gypsies.. and the white people from those nations get tarred by the same brush. I know the Slovaks had to have a visa to get into the UK because of the antics of those bloody gypsies at one point.

A WOMAN who once dated terror suspect Michael Adebolajo has expressed her shock at the alleged actions of a man she described as a "normal guy".
              
Two terror suspects shot by police in Woolwich remain under arrest in hospital in a stable condition. They were named as Michael Adebolajo, originally of Romford, Essex, and Michael Oluwatobi Adebowale, 22, of Greenwich, South East London

The Ministry of Defence earlier said the soldier killed is 25-year-old Drummer  Lee Rigby, of 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Drummer  Rigby had a two-year-old son and had served in Afghanistan.

In other developments:

   
• Two women arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder have been released, while another man remains in custody.
• A British newspaper publishes shocking video of the moment the two men accused of killing Drummer Rigby were shot by police following the barbaric attack.
• Metropolitan Police said they had made two further arrests - a man and woman, both aged 29 - on suspicion of conspiracy to murder in relation to the Woolwich killing.
• Links are revealed between accused killer Michael Adebolajo and radical Islamic cleric Anjem Choudary, who is accused of having "blood on his hands".

   
• Britain is bracing for clashes with right-wing extremists and possible copycat terror attacks and has added some 1,200 police to potential trouble spots. Terror analysts said publicity of the murder was intended to inspire copycat attacks and they are already seeing an increase chatter calling for such attacks on extremist sites.

   
• "He was really friendly and really polite and there was never anything to suggest he would be caught up in anything like this," she said yesterday.
  She added: "He had a group of friends from Hackney, they werent wrong uns, they were okay and he used to do a bit of MC-ing, rapping. Nobody can believe it. He was just this normal regular boy."

Australian Muslims are being urged to be aware of the possibility of a local backlash after the deadly terrorist attack in London this week.
British soldier Lee Rigby, a 25-year-old Afghan war veteran, was killed near the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, south-east London, on Wednesday.
His family have remembered him as a devoted father and loving husband.
Muslim community leaders say they fear Australian Muslims could be targetted in reprisal for the incident.
The Australian Muslim Youth Network has sent text messages and emails warning Muslims to avoid arguments about their faith and steer clear of anti-Islamic protests planned for some Australian cities.
"Some people may harm innocent Muslims in return, so be cautious," the message reads.
It continues: "Please do not enter into discussions or arguments in emotional situations as it could be gravely misunderstood."

I am not going to denigrate our WRC's in eastern Europe, however I will comment on the riff-raff they have exported our way. we are talking about the worst, base elements of countries such as Poland, the authorities have essencially sent them our way, parasites, criminals, drunks, addicts, whores & professional scroungers.

French soldier stabbed in neck outside Paris

A French soldier patrolling a business neighbourhood west of Paris has been stabbed in the neck by a man who quickly fled the scene and is being sought by police, President Francois Hollande said.

The soldier was patrolling in uniform with two other men as part of France's Vigipirate anti-terrorist surveillance plan when he was approached from behind around 1600 GMT and stabbed in the neck with a knife or a box-cutter.

Hollande, in the Ethiopian city of Addis Ababa, commented on the stabbing to say that the man was still on the run and police were exploring all leads.

"We still don't know the exact circumstances of the attack or the identity of the attacker, but we are exploring all options," Hollande told journalists.

Pierre-Andre Peyvel, police prefect for the Hauts-de-Seine area, said the soldier had lost a considerable amount of blood but would survive, and was being treated in a nearby military hospital.

"The wound appears to be quite serious, but it's not life-threatening," he told iTele news television.

Peyvel said the man was able to flee into a crowded shopping area in the La Defense business neighbourhood before the two other soldiers, who were walking in front of him, were able to react.

French daily Le Parisien cited a police source as saying the suspected attacker was a bearded man of North African origin about 30 years old, and was wearing an Arab-style garment under his jacket.

However, Peyvel declined to confirm or deny that description and said further details about the attacker's identity would be forthcoming.

France is on high alert for attacks following its military intervention in Mali in January, which prompted threats against French interests from AQIM.

The attack came days after a British soldier was killed on a London street by two men who said they were acting out of revenge for violence against Muslims.
