London: Muslim Terrorists Raided by Authorities

Extract: A woman aged in her 20s has been shot by police after they stormed a property in a counter-terrorism operation in Willesden in north-west London.

It came just hours after a man suspected of planning a terror attack was arrested while allegedly carrying knives at Whitehall near the UK Houses of Parliament.

Police said the two incidents were unrelated.

The woman, who was the subject of a police counter terrorism investigation, was shot after armed officers entered the Harlesden Road address before 7pm local time (4am AEST today).

She was taken to hospital where she remains under police guard. Police said her condition is serious but stable.

Four other people were arrested in the raid, among them were 20-year-old man, located near the address, and a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old woman, arrested at the address.

A 43-year-old woman was arrested a short time afterwards in Kent.

All four of those arrested are being held on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of terrorist acts. They remain in police custody at the south London Police station.

Extract: A couple has been booted off a British Airways flight from London to Jamaica after a man with an economy ticket sat in business class and refused to leave.

The Boeing 777 made an impromptu landing at a Portuguese air force base overnight, military officials said.

"The pilot decided to land in Lajes in the island of Terceira because of a dispute between cabin crew and a couple who wanted to be transferred from economy class to first class," an air force spokesman told AFP.

Extract: On the eve of Pope Francis's visit to Egypt, Pope Benedict XVI has broken his silence, condemning radical Islam as creating an "explosive situation'' challenging the future of Europe.

The retired pope's words contrast sharply with those of his successor, Francis, who argues that "Muslim terrorism does not exist'' and it is not "right to identify Islam with violence''.

In a letter to Polish President Andrzej Duda, Benedict said: "The clash between radically atheistic conceptions of the State and the emergence of a radically religious state in the Islamist movements, leads our time into an explosive situation, the consequences of which we experience every day.

"These radicalisms urgently demand that we develop a convincing conception of the State that sustains the clash with these challenges and can overcome them.''

Benedict's letter has emerged as Austria's green-left President, Alexander Van der Bellen, suggested in a talk to a group of students that in order to counter Islamophobia, there could come a day "when we must ask all women to wear a headscarf — all of them — out of solidarity towards those who do it for religious reasons".

The Vienna police are looking for any and all information pertaining to the whereabouts of a 31-year-old man from Mali, suspected of raping a 46-year-old woman on October 8.

During a visit to a café on the Lerchenfelder Gürtel, one of Vienna's main streets, the woman met and struck up a conversation with the suspected perpetrator. What happened next, is largely unclear: the woman suffers from memory loss and cannot account for large parts of the evening. Because of this, it is suspected that she was slipped some sedative, or a date rape drug.

Police spokeswoman Irina Steirer revealed to the press that the only thing that is definitely established, about where the woman was after meeting the man from Mali, is that she woke up hours later in a house in Vienna. She was subsequently brought to a hospital.

There the police examined her and secured traces of sperm, from which DNA was extracted. This led the police to the identity of the suspected perpetrator, whose picture they released to the public. The man from Mali was already known to the Vienna police in connection with drug-related offences.

Champs Elysees locked down after 'armed' attacker rams car into police van

Extract: A CAR loaded with gas bottles and guns rammed into a police van in Paris leaving the driver dead in what the interior minister said was an "attempted attack".

Police sources told AFP that a Kalashnikov rifle, handguns and gas bottles were found in the white Renault Megane. Sources said the suspect had links to Islamist extremism and was on the radar of authorities.

No police or bystanders were injured in the incident near the Grand Palais exhibition hall.

They identified the man as a 31-year-old man from the Paris suburb of Argenteuil who had an "S" file, meaning he was flagged for links to extremism.

Explosion at Brussels train station: One suspect reportedly shot

Extract: AN explosion has rocked Brussels Central Station after a suspected suicide bomber detonated a bomb belt, sending terrified passengers fleeing.

Belgian troops patrolling the station swooped in to "neutralise" the man, who was threatening civilians and wearing an "explosive belt".

Witnesses reported a man shouted "Allahu Akbar" before the small blast after 9pm Tuesday.

Soldiers ran toward the spot, saw wires protruding from the man's clothes, and shot him "several times" after he appeared to "trigger a device", according to the report.

The suspect was said to be wearing a rucksack packed with explosives at Belgium's busiest railway station.

Police sources said the attacker was seriously injured in the blast and subsequently died from his wounds.

There are also claims by MSM, politicians and your average everyday libtard that it is racist to presume that a suicide bomber screaming Allahu Akbar is in any way related to Islamic terrorism.
