BRUSSELS — Publishers of "Tintin in Congo" denied racism charges against the controversial comic book Friday, telling a Belgian court it reflected the "kind paternalism" of the 1930s, when it was penned.

Lawyers for Bienvenu Mbutu Mondondo, a Congolese citizen who brought the charges, claim the book to be "a justification of colonisation and of white supremacy" that should be deemed racist under Belgian law and pulled off shelves.

Rejecting the charge as "a totally twisted reading" of the book, which has sold 10 million copies worldwide, the lawyer for the publisher and the copyright firm, Alain Berenboom, said Herge's book was a mere reflection of his times.

I was always a big fan of Tintin and Asterix and Obelix as a kid. At the time I devoured everything I could find on the characters. Even today I have them on disc and put them on when kids come over. The problem these days is that the kids only seem to want Jap Manga cartoons and the moralistic have a good time at nobody else's expense is just not good enough for them. So here's the thing Brothers and Sisters, don't bring your kids around my home unless you want to put up with weeks of moaning about how Uncle Cailen forced the little horrors to shutup, watch Tintin and behave like respectable proto-Creators, instead of screaming at Jap kiddy-pseudo-porn.

A lot of what was produced pre-1960 is leaps and bounds above what is produced now, both in quality and moral value. I agree that the destruction of any media (book, film or music) is heretical and antithetical to the Creator values of truth and education. To burn even the most disgusting of Jewish propaganda would make it impossible to learn from it in future.

It is the stupid nigger and culture hating Jew that destroy the written word and other media. Look at what has happened to hundreds of copies of our own Holy Books - a sacrilege that will never be forgotten or forgiven!
